Mr.Ibrahim Hassan Al Asmakh
Mr_Ibrahim_Al_Asmakh was born on February 18, 1962 in the State of Qatar. His father, Mr. Hassan Al-Asmakh (1883-1986), was a prominent businessman. In 1920, Mr Hassan Al Asmakh embarked on what was to become an extremely successful career in real estate. His strong work ethic, excellent reputation and his good relationship with H.H. The Emir of Qatar and the Al Thani Family was rewarded when an area in the heart of downtown Doha, near Souq Waqif, was named in his honour (Al-Asmakh Street).
In 1987, Ibrahim Al-Asmakh graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.Sc. degree in Finance and Business Administration. He then returned to Qatar and joined Qatar Petroleum, where he worked until 1993.
In 1993, Mr Ibrahim Al- Asmakh decided to revive his father’s real estate business under the name “Al-Asmakh Real Estate and Development Company”, establishing “Regency Travel and Tours” in the same year. “Regency Travel and Tours” is now considered to be the leading travel company in the State of Qatar and has been the proud winner of the “World Leading Travel Agency” award and the “Middle East Leading Travel Agency” award for eight consecutive years (2007-2015).
These two companies were to become the pillars of what would later be known as “Regency Group Holding” (www.regencygroupq.com); a group of diverse companies, acting in major economic sectors with a manpower of more than 3000 employees from 34 different countries. Regency Group Holding has become one of the well represented and active groups in Qatar.
Aside from being the President of “Regency Group Holding”, Mr Ibrahim Al-Asmakh had an active role in promoting the State of Qatar: From 2001- 2003 Mr Ibrahim Al-Asmakh was assigned Vice Chairman for the Qatar Tourism Agency. He also represented Qatar at major international conferences and exhibitions related to other industries.
Mr Ibrahim Al-Asmakh has been the main speaker at the prestigious “Leaders in Dubai” event, where he was chosen to be one of the “Al-Rouad Members” (Leaders’ Members) in the Middle East.
In 2010, Mr Ibrahim Al-Asmakh established Al-Asmakh charity. The charity is dedicated to offering advice and funds to businesses in developing countries, helping them to expand and flourish.
On January 11 2012, Mr Ibrahim Al-Asmakh was named “Travel Personality of the Year” by the World Travel Awards
As part of its social responsibility, Regency Group Holding is the official club sponsor of Al-Ahli Sports Club. Al-Ahli Football Club has been a key pillar in the community in Qatar and has a long history of sporting excellence. Under the sponsorship of Regency Group, the club has enjoyed promotion to the Qatar Stars League.

ساد الحزن على رواد التواصل الاجتماعي في قطر صباح اليوم (الإثنين)، عقب إعلان رحيل رجل الأعمال إبراهيم حسن الأصمخ صاحب الأيادي البيضاء، والذي أشتهر بالأعمال الخيرية.
وأعلن عن وفاة إبراهيم حسن الأصمخ صباح الإثنين 15 (مايو/2023)، عن عمر يناهز الـ61 عاماً.
سبب وفاة إبراهيم حسن الأصمخ
وحسبما تناقلته وسائل إعلام قطرية، توفي إبراهيم الأصمخ بعد صراع مع المرض. وانتشرت أنباء قبيل وفاته، تفيد بتعرضه لوعكة صحية ألمت به. والجدير بالذكر، أنه لم يتم الكشف عن طبيعة مرضه، كما لم تتحدث أي جهة موثوقة عن متعلقات في هذا الشأن.

– توفي في الخامس عشر من (مايو/2023)، عن عمر يناهز الـ61 سنة، بعد صراع مع المرض.

– درس إبراهيم في جامعة “أريزونا” تخصص علم المال وإدارة الأعمال، وحصل على شهادة البكالوريوس سنة 1987، ثم عاد إلى قطر، لينضم إلى شركة قطر للبترول، وظل يعمل في هذا الصرح إلى سنة 1993.
– وفي سنة 1993، قرر أن يعيد أمجاد والده، ويطلق شركة “الأصمخ للمشاريع العقارية”، وسرعان ما أصبحت من ضمن الشركات الأولى في مجال العقارات.
– ثم شركة “ريجنسي للسفريات والسياحة”، والتي نالت مؤخراً شهادة الامتياز كأفضل شركة سفريات في العالم.
– شارك في عديد المؤتمرات والفعاليات المحلية والدولية بقطر.
– شغل منصب نائب رئيس مجلس إدارة الهيئة العامة للسياحة في قطر.
– وبعد نجاح مشروعاته، أسس سنة 2010، مشروعه الخيري الشهير “مؤسسة الأصمخ للأعمال الخيرية”.
– اختير ليكون شخصية العام من World Travel Awards سنة 2012.
– علاوة على ذلك، فهو واحد من أشهر وأبرز الأسماء الرائدة في مجال الفنادق والعقارات في الوطن العربي.
ونعاه عدد كبير جداً من رواد التواصل في قطر بكلمات مؤثرة في يوم وفاته، وقال عبد الرحمن بن سعود : “انتقل إلى رحمة الله تعالى رجل الأعمال إبراهيم حسن الأصمخ، الرجل الذي انشىء جمعية خيرية ” عفيف ” وكانت اغلبية التبرعات والكفالات من جيبه الخاص والذي كان يسير في كرب المسلمين في قطر ويفرجها الله أرحمه وأعفو عنه وأدخله عالي جناتك من غير حساب دعواتكم له بالرحمة والمغفرة”.

Mangusta 165 motor yacht Al Asmakh for sale
Marc Borderon at Peter Insull’s Yacht Marketing reports that they have been appointed central agents for the sale of the 50 metre motor yacht Al Asmakh .
Designed by Stefano Righini , she was built in GRP by Italian yard Overmarine to ABS class and delivered in 2011 as Hull No 6 of the yard’s Mangusta 165 series. Up to 13 guests can be accommodated in five cabins consisting of a full beam master suite, two doubles, a twin with a Pullman berth and a triple cabin with a Pullman berth, and all cabins have television screens and en suite bathroom facilities. There are also quarters for nine crew in five cabins on this yacht for sale .
The saloon is spacious and filled with light, fitted with comfortable seating, a drinks fridge, ice maker and a state of the art entertainment centre featuring a 52 inch Sharp television and a Kaleidescape server delivering on demand video and audio.
The aft deck is vast with upholstered seating for guests, tables for outdoor dining and a 52 inch Sharp television screen providing entertainment plus a hydraulic roller canopy. More al fresco enjoyment is available on the sun deck with a fridge, ice maker and a dumb waiter to the galley delivering gourmet meals on command.
There is a further sunbathing and dining area on the foredeck, well away from curious eyes. Triple 4,613hp MTU engines linked to KaMeWa water jets give her a top speed of 40 knots.
Lying in Doha, Qatar, Al Asmakh is asking $22 million.
