Without a Yas Marina pass at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix , superyacht-goers won’t be able to step ashore and enjoy the on-land offerings. Read our guide to discover what passes are available, what they offer access to and how they can be upgraded for an even more exclusive experience.  

If you charter a superyacht at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, you will be allocated a select number of Yas Marina guest and crew passes based on the size of your boat. The bigger the yacht, the more passes you will receive and be able to distribute to your guests.

Yas Marina Guest Passes

The standard passes distributed among superyachts berthed in the marina for the F1 fixture are known as ‘Yas Marina Guest Passes’ or ‘Yas Marina Daily Passes’. As the name suggests, one of these passes will be available for just one day at a time and will give access to the following areas:

• Yas Marina pontoon and boardwalk
• Oasis area of Yas Marina Circuit (not grandstand access)
• General admission access to the nightly post-race concerts at du Arena
• Thursday Yas Marina guest passes will provide access to the Pit Lane Walk

Visitors to the grand prix who would like fast-track entry into one of the  Race-week after-race concerts , as well as front-row access, can upgrade their daily guest pass to include Golden Circle concert admission. For more details, read our exclusive after-race entertainment article.

Additional Guest Passes can be purchased at a cost of AED 1,365 for four days.

Yas Marina VIP Passes

To get even more out of your time at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, it is worth upgrading your standard guest pass to a Yas Marina VIP Pass. The privilege comes at an extra cost (AED 2,100 for four days) and includes the following additions:

• Friday support pit lane walk
• Palm Garden Rich List at Yas Hotel

A VIP pass lasts for four days, so holders will wear the same pass throughout the weekend.

Yas Marina Crew Passes

A number of ‘Yas Marina Crew Passes’, which allow access to the marina jetty and pontoons, will also be allocated to each yacht. Berth holders with yachts measuring 20 metres and above can purchase additional Crew Passes at AED 525 per pass.

Super Parks Pass

The ‘Super Parks Pass’ is a brilliant option for spectators at the grand prix who would like to venture beyond Yas Marina and experience some of the wonderful attractions available in Abu Dhab i. From Wednesday to Sunday, holders of a Super Packs Pass are eligible to visit the following:

• Ferrari World Abu Dhabi
• Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi
• Warner Brothers Abu Dhabi

 A Super Park Pass costs AED 362.25.

• Enter Abu Dhabi inner-coastal waters at Mina Zayed and transit southeast through the Um Al Nar Channel (also known as Khawr al Bighal).
• Continue along that same course for approximately 6.0 n.m., and enter the North Sammaliyah Channel at the intersection of Jazirat Balrimayd Island and Jazirat as Al Sammaliyah Island.
• NOTE: Take care at the intersection of the two channels, do not ‘cut the corner’, the inside of the turn is extremely shallow and care should be taken not to leave the marked channels.
• Continue within the Channel bearing south-southeast, until passing “Little Yas Island” on your port side.
• Turn east into Airport Channel (along Al Raha Beach, noting the Al Raha Beach Hotel and Al Bandar Marina on your starboard side), leaving the concrete sea wall along the south end of Yas Island on your port side. Please note that Yas Southern Marina is under construction.
• Please refer to Admiralty Chart No. 3715 - United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi & Umm Al Nar.

The place to be

Tatii is a 40.5 m / 132′11″ luxury motor yacht. She was built by Tamsen in 2009. With a beam of 8.6 m and a draft of 1.65 m She is powered by MTU engines of 2400 hp each giving her a maximum speed of 20 knots and a cruising speed of 17 knots. The yacht was designed by Tamsen.

The Yas Marina Circuit is the new and only circuit in Abu Dhabi. Designed by Hermann Tilke, the circuit is situated on Yas Island, approximately a half-hour drive from the city of Abu Dhabi. Featuring 16 turns over 5.281 kilometers of full excitement, it is often referred to as the Arabian Monaco.

Xclusive yachts is now open at yas marina - abu dhabi.

Xclusive Yachts is Dubai’s leading and award-winning yacht charter company owning its fleet of yachts. Located at Yas Marina Abu Dhabi, Xclusive Yachts offers an authentic sailing yacht experience for sharing, private yacht rental and boat club which will operate early next year.

Yacht Share tours are sailing soon on a lunch tour from 10:00 – 14:00 at AED310 per person and sundowner tour from 17:00-19:00 at AED260 per person. Tours operate with a tour guide, served with freshly prepared BBQ on board, red carpet on departure and perfect photo moments. Our service guarantees an authentic sailing experience onboard our well maintained 88ft Gulet boat. 

The 88ft Gulet boat is the first and only traditional Turkish sailing boat in the UAE. It has evolved over the years from being traditionally used for fishing and cargo, to being comfortably equipped with all the amenities of home for a fabulous getaway.  Equipped with 6 cabins, shower and changing rooms perfect for sharing charter and private day cruise out in the sea. She has a large and spacious saloon with comfortable seating and dining area. Her foredeck offers you a very comfortable seating area and lots of sun cushions to enjoy the summer sun while the aft deck has an alfresco dining area and a cushioned relaxation area.

Also available for private charter the 82ft Mangusta yacht which can comfortably accommodate up to 34 guests. Every charter is coming with a professionally experienced captain and crew to ensure you have the best sailing experience. Freshly prepared BBQ served on board, soft drinks, bottled water, ice and red carpet on departure.

Attractions covered, Aldar headquarters, Ostrich Farm and the Heritage Village. Swimming is allowed on private charter and lunch tour.

Wet Berths at Yas Marina

Yas marina currently operates 227 fully serviced wet berths for yachts from 8m to 90m loa, with superyacht visitor berths up to 175m. yas marina has a wide variety of berths available for yachts of all sizes, with race track view options., dock at yas marina.

1. Where is Yas Marina located? Yas Marina is conveniently located a 50-minute drive from Dubai and only 30 minutes from Abu Dhabi Corniche.

2. How many wet berths are available? Yas Marina offerers 227 wet berths. Berths range from 8m to 175m with options for race track views.

3. When can I access my boat? Boats can be accessed 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.

4. What time is the management office open? The marina management office is open daily from 9am - 6pm.

5. Which facilities are available? Our berthing sites offer 24-hour berthing assistance, 24/7 security, fresh water and power facilities for boats up to 175m, waste disposal and black and grey water pump out facilities. There is a petrol station nearby, buggy service, washrooms, showers, changing rooms, free ice delivery and parking.

6. What type of berthing rates are available? We offer daily, weekly, monthly and annual packages including or excluding Formula 1 week. A special 8 day rate is available during Formula 1 for 51-week members who wish to dock their boat at our dry berthing facility.

7. Is fuel available? Yes, a petrol station with a 60m dock is available at the dry berthing facility which is conveniently located a few minutes away from Yas Marina.

8. Do you provide maintenance and repairing service on-site? Class Marine run a boat maintenance yard, at an extra cost.

9. What are the benefits of berthing at Yas Marina? Yas Marina is located in quieter waterways better suited for leisure and water sports. Boat owners who enrol in annual packages have access to the Cruising Club and Yas Marina Privilege Club program offering numerous discounts. Formula 1 fans can enjoy first hand views of the race track during the most exciting event of the year.
