The Invicta 26 was designed by E. G. Van de Stadt in 1964. The boat has a narrow hull and transom hung rudder and characteristic round hatches.
These hardy little yachts are renowned for being beautifully balanced when under sail. The keel extends for at least half her length, and more than two-thirds her waterline length, which gives great directional stability.
Verglas is sadly down on her luck and requires some attention prior to use, following several seasons ashore. Once recommissioned, she'll make a lovely, characterful yacht once more.

Description.
Invicta yacht designed by the renowned Van de Stadt yard and built by Tyler yachts, great looking yacht with her sleek lines she looks fabulous on the water, with a new Nanni 10hp diesel fitted around 2012, she was mainly dry stored till 2015 so little use on the engine, in the time since she had all her rigging done so makes for a good purchase, 2015/6 the windows were renewed, the hull at this time was sanded back and repainted giving the hull a great look for her age, whilst some minor cosmetics could be done to the interior she is a solid buy with little work to make her lovely, she is ready to go, lying ashore and still winterised. servicing has always been undertaken by Sqibb marine in the Isle of Wight and more recently by Motive marine in Shamrock quay, an old insurance survey report is available to view following an email request.
