How far are Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan?

Nusa Penida is a small tropical island, located about 12 kilometers from Bali. Together with neighboring Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Cheningan they refer to the district of Klungkung, the province of Bali. Nusa Penida is separated from Bali by Badung strait and is about 40 minutes away.

How far are the Gili islands?

The Gili Islands are three tiny islands, that are situated nearby the North-West coast of Lombok. Lined up one after another there are Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno and Gili Air. A trip to the island triplet would take about 2 hours.

What are the most interesting diving spots? Are there stingrays?

A place named Manta Point is famous for giant stingrays. It is situated nearby Nusa Penida. Giant manta rays have an impressive wingspan of 9,1 meters, their body length riches up to 3,5 meters with approximate weight of 3000 kilograms. Stingrays live in small shoals along coastal areas, coral reefs and island groups.

Where can I cook my trophy-fish?

You can bring your caught fish to restaurants around the islands for cooking it. There is a big number of great places, including a dozen of famous seafood restaurants on the island of Nusa Lembongan.

What types of fishing one may do there?

Trolling is one of the most exciting adventures to be done in Bali. Trolling depths and spots differ, but experimenting may bring you some impressive trophy and surpass your expectations! Besides that, coral fishing and deep sea fishing are also common in Bali.

What fish can be caught there?

Big tuna, mahi-mahi fish, giant horse mackerel and spanish mackerel can be caught in coastal waters. You can find barracuda – a toothy predator which is also known as sea pike along coral reefs. After all, you can anchor by the reefs and get some spadefish there.

Had a wonderful time on Queen's yacht - everything was exactly as discussed, I wanted to see the sunset and everything was arranged perfectly. The crew was also absolutely wonderful - they have attended to every need and request that I had and went above and beyond in many cases such as when they have prepared a fruit platter for me. I had complimentary drinks and snacks added to my trip as well which was an absolutely wonderful touch. Overall - I highly recommend booking this boat for an amazing experience! Very good experience ! Our guide Komang, took very good care of us all day long. We spent the morning fishing and snorkeling, it was incredible and then we chilled and had lunch on the beach. The afternoon, Komang took us to some places to visit the countryside of Bali, we met very nice people and discovered the Balinese culture. It was a perfect day !

The fishing trip I went with Tisen was excellent and left a very good experience. He is very good guide, friendly and take good care of details. Although we did not manage to get any big fish due to the season, it was fun and memorable with him out to the sea.

We had a great experience with our transfers between Sunar and Nusa Penida. Given that we had some sizeable luggage and my wife can experience motion sickness on boats, the private transfer worked very well for us. Great crew, very helpful and on time for both transfers!
