Riva Lounge opens at the Waterfront in Porto Cervo  

 This summer international yachting icon Riva will give visitors to the Costa Smeralda something to dream about   Porto Cervo,  July 1, 2021 - The epitome of excellence and timeless elegance, Riva is back to set the Costa Smeralda summer on fire with the exclusive new Riva Lounge located in the unique atmosphere of the Waterfront in Porto Cervo.   After openings in internationally renowned yachting destinations, Riva Lounge now comes to Sardinia too, in keeping with the guiding philosophy of “Riva inside, inside Riva”, which extends the brand’s values beyond the yachting sector. The formula is the same as the one behind the other destinations’ success: to bring the design, attention to detail and heritage of the Riva brand to famous hotels, restaurants and clubs that are close to a landing point for yachts.  The initiative is promoted by Smeralda Holding.   In the Riva Lounge officially opened on June 26 in partnership with Waterfront Costa Smeralda, the timeless Riva legend is married to the location’s design by architect Gio Pagani. Dove mangiare a Porto Cervo in Costa Smeralda

Dove mangiare a Porto Cervo è un vero dilemma . La Costa Smeralda è in Sardegna, ma se non fosse per il mare, non si direbbe. Il DNA della Costa Smeralda è internazionale e questo aspetto si riflette anche a tavola . Di cucina sarda ce n’è poca, pochissima, ma in compenso si può mangiare un ottimo sushi con un cocktail in abbinamento.  Quando il principe Aga Khan è sbarcato qui nel 1962 per fondare il Consorzio che ha dato vita a Porto Cervo e dintorni, ha costruito per prima cosa un hotel, il Cala di Volpe , una chiesa, la Stella Maris , e un ristorante, Il Pescatore, progettato dal grande architetto Jacques Couéllé. La ristorazione fa parte quindi del progetto sin dagli esordi, esattamente 60 ani fa perché nel 2022 si celebra proprio l’anniversario della fondazione di Porto Cervo e dintorni. Oggi Quattro Passi al Pescatore è ancora l’unico pieds dans l’eau , in piena Porto Cervo, ma la consulenza è stata affidata ad uno chef stellato di Nerano, in Costiera Amalfitana. La Sardegna è sempre stata terra di approdi, qui sono arrivati tutti: fenici, greci, romani, spagnoli, liguri e piemontesi. C’è chi ha sedimentato le seadas , chi la buridda , diventati piatti tipici, negli ultimi Sessant’anni invece sono sbarcati invece chef stellati, cuochi internazionali, format stranieri, pop-up restaurant che si animano durante la stagione estiva, di gente da ogni parte del mondo. La tipicità della Costa Smeralda è l’essere un porto contemporaneo, di yacht e jet privati, e attrarre a sé formule varie, gestite però lo stile e la professionalità dell’ospitalità locale.

Il fusion, vera cucina tipica

Quindi: dove mangiare a Porto Cervo in Costa Smeralda? Per un cocktail e burger c’è il Nikki Beach (da Miami), c’è la catena (russa) di sushi Novikov , il ristorante del patron di Nobu, Matsushita , e il nuovissimo Zuma ,  giapponesi di ispirazione culinaria rispettivamente americano e inglese come brand. Finger’s Porto Cervo , dello chef nippo-brasiliano Roberto Okabe è in realtà un milanese d’azione, veterano oramai della Costa. Ceviche e tacos si trovano nella sede marittima di Pacifico che dopo Milano e Roma ha portato negli spazi dello storico ristorante Rosemary una cucina di ispirazione peruviana. Si mangia greco, contemporaneo, da Meraki , e ovviamente non manca un pokè bar. Anche lo chef stellato Italo Bassi punta sul fusion, con un locale che si chiama appunto ConFusion e propone contaminazione.

Meraviglioso: le lunghe notti al ristorante

La notte è giovane. Si sboccia da Champagne a porter , da Courmayeur con furore qui il Super G ha portato l’àpres beach in riva al mare e con lo chef stellato Andrea Berton da Meraviglioso in piazzetta propone cene con musica e una cucina italiana immediata, mentre al piano di sopra la serata si conclude a tarda notte grazie al dj che «trasforma il Meraviglioso terrazza in un vero e proprio club dando vita alla vera Golden Night di Porto Cervo». Il Billionare Club dista pochi chilometri e lo fa dal 1998, mixando cucina italiana e new-asian (a menù fisso, show incluso). La destinazione stagionale rende difficile insediamenti in pianta stabile di ristoranti gourmet, ma è anche la destinazione dove rifuggire da percorsi impostati e tavole complesse. In fondo si è in vacanza e la gente ha solo voglia di divertirsi. Come dargli torno.

Per cercare qualcosa di tipico bisogna andare nell’entroterra, verso il borgo San Pantaleo o le colline di Abbiadori , dove la proposta è maggiormente territoriale, un po’ più defilata. Ci sono indirizzi di tradizione, altri di innovazione come la cucina neo-sarda di Terrazza Frades . Per incontrare qualche local ci sono degli indirizzi che sono ugualmente amati da forestieri e da chi bazzica la costa oramai da anni. Zamira lungo la Promenade du Port che apre dalla mattina per le colazioni fino a tarda sera, lo storico ristorante con enoteca di Renato Pedrinelli che da Brescia è arrivato qui oramai 50 anni fa esatti e coltiva la sua clientela. A fianco della Marina c’è poi Insula , progetto di valorizzazione dei prodotti sardi che sforna pizze e piatti tipici vista yacht. E poi c’è Pasqualina : a mangiare il gelato qui ci vanno tutti.

Vita Smeralda

Jerry Calà nella sua canzone Vita Smeralda cantava che per la cena aveva fatto un bel finanziamento. Ma è vero in parte. La Costa Smeralda è una destinazione che dalla sua fondazione si è posizionata com meta di lusso, non certo low-cost, e quindi tutto, dalle case al panino ha un prezzo più elevato rispetto ai dintorni o alle spiagge di altri lidi italiani. È una scelta, da un lato, dall’altro ci si trova in una meta per teste coronate, magnati della finanza, milionari della Silicon Valley, non di chi vuole respirare un po’ della vita smeralda che ha visto alla tv. Qui il lusso non è democratico, è accessibile (proprio gratis) se si vuole andare al mare, camminare nella macchia mediterranea, godere del paesaggio non deturpato da edificazione selvaggia. In piazzetta a Porto Cervo, si paga.

Lo chef stellato di Milano ha aperto nel 2022 la sua collaborazione in piena Promenade du Port, con il ristorante Meraviglioso. Si mangia e ci si diverte, per un mix vincente fra buona cucina e nightlife da vacanza. Due sale, in piazza all'aperto, in terrazza e private room per eventi. 

Pacifico Rosemary

Dopo Milano e Roma, il team di Pacifico è arrivato in Costa Smeralda, prendendo il posto di uno storico locale, il Rosemary. Ci hanno portato grigliate e le loro specialità: cucina Nikkei, ceviche, tiradito e incursioni in tacos e Messico. 

Renato Pedrinelli

Veterano della ristorazione sarda di importazione, è arrivato qui da Brescia nel 1972 e ora manda avanti il ristorante con i figli, terza generazione di ristoratori. In piena Porto Cervo offre una vasta cantina, cucina italia dalla tagliata alla burrata pugliese e piatti sardi. Un'istituzione.

Billionaire Porto Cervo

La stagione dura dl 22 luglio al 28 agosto ed è un mix di cucina, esibizioni di artisti , DJ set. Al  ristorante-teatro Billionaire Porto Cervo si cena davanti alle performances, e poi nel dopo cena tutti al leggendario Club, punto di riferimento delle notti della Costa Smeralda. 

Gelateria Pasqualina

Gelateria storica di Bergamo è arrivata in Costa Smeralda oramai anni fa e si è conquistata il trofeo di miglior gelato della zona. Coni, coppette e vaschette come queste per fare delle degustazioni anche a domicilio.

Zamira Lounge

Zamira Lounge, non solo cocktail bar, ma anche luogo dal design raffinato (progettato dall'archistar Patricia Urquiola) dove vivere un'autentica esperienza cognitiva sotto la guida di Dino Scalmana, uno dei massimi esperti internazionali nel campo della champagnerie.

Quattro Passi al Pescatore

Primo ristorante  della Costa Smeralda, è unico nel suo genere. Qui si ordina dalla carta, piatti di cucina italiana curati dallo chef bistellato di Quattro Passi al Pescatore di Erano, oppure (se si può) ci si affida alla sala per crudità di pesce, primi all'aragosta o grigliate sontuose. Amate dal pubblico più elegante, che non bada a spese.

Luci di la muntagna

Hotel iconico in piena Porto Cervo offre una terrazza vista mare dove si può sorseggiare un aperitivo al tramonto. Location invidiabile e ospitalità. Fanno anche una pizza apprezzata nei dintorni.

Insula Porto Cervo

Ristorante alla marina di Porto Cervo, raggiungibile con una ventina di minuti di passeggiata. Qui si trovano prodotti sardi, pizze, cucina anche locale a prezzi contenuti, sui 20€ al piatto. Oltre al ristorante, bar pasticceria e gelateria. 

Hotel Cala di Volpe

Iconico, unico nel suo genere, un luogo dove si respira la storia. Un gioiello architettonico disegnato da Jacques Couelle che ha segnato il resto dello stile dell'intera Costa Smeralda, in cui potersi concedere un pranzo o una cena, o un aperitivo, per entrare almeno per un paio d'ore nel mito. Si può venire a sorseggiare un cocktail sulla terrazza del Bar Atrium, rinnovato di recente, affacciati sulla baia scintillante, oppure incontrarsi per cena al ristorante Cala di Volpe. Per un’esperienza esotica, lo chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa con il ristorante ‘Matsuhisa at Cala di Volpe’  completa la scelta gastronomica, mentre l’iconico bar Il Pontile è affacciato sul molo e sugli yacht ormeggiati in questa baia del Mediterraneo.

Terrazza Frades

Gita "fuori porta" sulle colline di Abbiadori per provare la cucina dei fratelli Paddeu. Terrazza Frades rivisita la tradizione sarda, come in questi culurgiones alla piastra, ma lo fa in modo intelligente, partendo dagli ingredienti e offrendo una cucina contemporanea e ricca di gusto. Che sia un tagliere di salumi, un piatto di fregola o un menù degustazione si esce felici - anche per il prezzo. 

Somu, stella Michelin

Riccardo d'Angelo, Martina Bonino, Giacomo Serreli, Antonio Gallarato, Salvatore Camedda: il team dietro al ristorante Somu, una stella Michelin dal 2022 nella vicina Baja Sardinia. Nuova cucina sarda, innovativa ma identitaria nei sapori, sorprendente, con un servizio impeccabile e una vista sulla spiaggia. Tutto 100% sardo. 

Li Neuli - San Pantaleo

Un ambiente rustico, ma elegante, per un country club nella campagna gallurese a San Pantaleo, nell'interno. La cucina è attenta alla stagionalità dei prodotti e al KM 0 grazie all'orto biologico della proprietà. Piatti di mare e di terra, con i metodi di cottura contemporanei, dalla bassa a temperatura agli olii cottura, dalla griglia al carbone e fuoco vivo fino ad al forno in pietra.

Yacht club porto rotondo, una storia di passione e mare dal 1985.

Lo Yacht Club Porto Rotondo è stato fondato nel 1985 da un gruppo di appassionati del mare e di Porto Rotondo e da sempre ha sede nello splendido edificio in legno di larice realizzato dall’architetto veneto Malgaretto.

Nel 1987, pur mantenendo una certa autonomia, venne incorporato come sede “distaccata”, dallo Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, presieduto dall’Aga Khan. In questi anni la collaborazione attiva con "la casa madre” di Porto Cervo si concretizzò nel vivace scambio di soci autorevoli, nell’intensa attività sportiva internazionale e in prestigiose rassegne di barche d’epoca, per concludersi dopo 10 anni.  

Il Club ha proseguito percorrendo strade nuove con un gruppo di affezionati al glorioso “guidone”  sotto la guida dell’Ammiraglio Luciano Fontana e contando su un Consiglio Direttivo dinamico e fiducioso nelle potenzialità di un Circolo in grado di realizzare iniziative di rilievo e di valorizzare le grandi risorse di Porto Rotondo in un contesto internazionale.

Lo Yacht Club Porto Rotondo annovera prestigiosi soci italiani e stranieri, fruttuosi gemellaggi con importanti circoli sportivi ed attrae sponsorizzazioni di rinomati marchi internazionali, grazie ai quali può dispiegare un'attività ricca di eventi sociali e sportivi.
