119m Feadship flagship Launchpad spotted on maiden voyage

Feadship 's longest superyacht to date, the 118.8-metre Launchpad , has been sighted in Gibraltar on her maiden voyage. 

This follows her delivery two weeks ago, with her AIS indicating she is bound for Saint Maarten.

The yacht’s midnight blue exterior comes from Espen Øino , whilst interiors have been headed up by French studio Zuretti . Images indicate the yacht has a main deck swimming pool and a large helipad with a hangar on the upper deck. The project also appears to have a unique pod-style skylounge encased by curved glass. 

Further details about Launchpad 's amenities and design have remained tightly under wraps. Prior to delivery, she was transmitting on AIS as Katyusha .

The vessel marks a significant milestone for the Dutch shipyard as its longest launch to date, superseding the 110-metre Anna , which launched in 2018. However, Launchpad will not hold the crown for long, as Feadship currently has a 119-metre yacht in build called Project 821.

According to BOATPro , there are only two Dutch-built yachts larger than Launchpad and 821;   Amels ' brand new 120-metre full custom project under construction and Jeff Bezos' 127-metre Koru .

Video: Feadship's largest yacht to date sees technical launch

At 118m (or 387ft) and with a gross tonnage of 4,999 GT, the motor yacht still known as Feadship Project 1010 certainly made some waves during her technical launch at the yard's Papendrecht facilities yesterday. 

All eyes were on the shed at Scheepswerf Slob yesterday, as the unfinished hull and superstructure of 118m Project 1010 had her grand unveiling.

The motor yacht is now making her way to Makkum for final outfitting.

Exterior styling comes from Espen Oeino, and this milestone yacht marks both the largest Feadship yacht to date and the largest yacht ever built in the Netherlands.

Project 1010 will supersede both ANNA (110m) and KAOS (110.1m, formerly JUBILEE), the yachts which currently hold these two titles respectively.

Details about Feadship's latest project are thin on the ground, however delivery is expected in 2022.

Once delivered, the superyacht will rank in the Top 30 World's Longest Yachts.

Feadship has had a busy year so far, with the deliveries of 99m motor yacht MOONRISE and 73m motor yacht PODIUM, as well as exciting new addition the charter fleet, 75m superyacht ARROW .

It is not yet known whether Project 1010 will become available for luxury yacht charters .

Feadship launches 118m project 1010

Feadship's largest yacht to date hits the water….

Feadship's Project 1010 cuts an impressive figure as it leaves the sheds. At 118m, it surpasses Anna (110m) as the largest Feadship launch in its storied history. Feadship 1010 has exterior design from Espen Øino International ,  with Zuretti Interior Design commissioned for the interior.

Further details are yet to be released by Feadship , with the curved glass observation deck appearing to be a unique feature of Project 1010. The complex launch process required the stern to be lifted by a crane and barge and can be seen in the below video from Guy Fleury. 

Once delivered, Project 1010 will join a fleet of 64 superyachts 100m and above. The below graph shows the historic deliveries and current inbuild superyachts at Feadship. Project 1010 is scheduled for delivery in late 2022.

Motor Yacht Project 1010

Very little is known about feadship's mysterious superyacht project 1010..

The 118m superyacht will be the largest yacht Feadship has ever launched to date when she is launched in 2022. The yacht will feature exterior design by the celebrated Norwegian designer Espen Oeino. 

At 118m Project 1010 topples the 110m superyacht Anna from the current title of the largest Feadship to date. There is an incredible amount of industry anticipation surrounding what her final design will look like. 

Feadship's Project 1010 had her technical launch in October 2020 and was moved to Feadship's Makkum facility for outfitting, where she will remain until 2022.

The Gala Opening Ceremony of the 5th International exhibition Moscow Boat Show was held on March 20 in the lobby of the first pavilion Crocus Expo IEC. The trade fair has demonstrated once again to be the largest project in Russia exhibiting the best products in the yachting segment.

The Moscow Boat Show is the own Crocus Expo IEC project and is supported by Aston Martin Moscow, Burevestnik Group logistics department and the Yachting specialized magazine.

The exposition space increased up to 30 000 sq m and was accommodated in all 4 exhibition halls of the fairgrounds! 280 Russian (Arkhangelsk, Vyborg, Kazan, Kaluga, Republic of Karelia, Moscow and Moscow region, Nizhny Novgorod, Novorossiysk, Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, St. Petersburg, Sverdlovsk region, Sochi, Chelyabinsk, Tyumen and Yaroslavl region) and foreign ( Denmark , Germany , Holland , Greece , Spain , Italy , Cyprus , China , Latvia , Poland , USA , Turkey , Ukraine, Finland , France , Montenegro and Croatia ) companies participated in the show.

Arcady Zlotnikov, First Deputy Director Crocus Expo IEC, was traditionally the first to take the floor at the official opening ceremony. He greeted warmly exhibitors, guests and visitors of Moscow Boat Show. Nikolay Krjuchek, Deputy Chief of the State Inspection on Small size Vessels (GIMS) of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of Russia, Georguiy Shaiduko,Acting President of the Russian Yachting Federation (VFPS), Olympic champion in Atlanta, and Ekaterina Grishechkina, Director of exhibition Moscow Boat Show also spoke at the ceremony.

The high-ranking guests noted dynamic development of the branch which well reasons the intensive growth of the exposition and appearance of rather unique articles.

The visitors for the first time had an opportunity to purchase 19-meter boats, private submarines, Jetlev-Flyers from MS Watersports and also rare yachts and boats.
