Brodosplit JSC is a member of the DIV Group and is at the head of group of companies with a long and bright tradition. Brodosplit is one of the most famous European shipyards.

The shipbuilding industry exist since 1922, while the Brodosplit Shipyard as a company was established in 1932. On a location near the airport, as well as cargo and passenger international port and the historic city center.

The main activity is the construction of all types of merchant and passenger vessels and some types of specific purpose vessels, as well as complex steel constructions. Workshops and slipways of Brodosplit cover an area of 560.000 m2 with a total of 110.000 m2 of buildings. There are four completely equipped slipways with numerous machines, an abundance of equipment, means, and facilities, with the potential to build 300 meters long and 50 meters wide vessels.

Expert engineers, project architects, and designers implement all the design and engineering requirements of customers and clients from the initial idea to the final solution. In the process, they use modern welding techniques of steel and other materials, production of ductile and gray cast iron products, extensive architectural interior solutions, automation, and control of marine systems, integration, process equipment, and many other areas. Brodosplit experts can promptly design a project and start the production.

The expertise and experience of Split shipbuilders were the decisive factors for the Italian architectural and civil engineering consortium Venezia Nuova to select Brodosplit as its partner in one of the biggest civil engineering projects in history of Italy. We delivered 63 steel gates for the “Mose” project aiming to protect the Venetian Lagoon from tides. Brodosplit will forever be remembered in the history of one of the most famous cities on the water in the world.

Brodosplit, in its dominant program, develops, designs, and builds the most complex vessels and floating structures, as well as the most complex steel structures for infrastructural, traffic, energy, process, and general application. Positioning Brodosplit in the niche of building and manufacturing complex ships and large structures (motor yachts, passenger ships, Venice gates, bridges, special purpose vessels) and carrying out jobs obtained through a competitive offer on the world market (offshore and onshore) are the main goals for the coming period. The company has turned to projects and products that bring greater added value, and since 2013 we have a fleet of ships whose use, i.e., charter, complements the business.

The current production program is filled with the construction of passenger and tourist ships (purposes of cruises, luxury (yachting) trips) all with unlimited navigation areas including the polar regions. All this is available in individual series of ships that stand out with their unique design, purpose, and applied solutions. The construction of passenger ships is a segment in which Croatian shipyards can compete, and Brodosplit has positioned itself in the market niche for the construction of Polar Expedition Cruise Vessels and passenger vessels whose length ranges from 100 to 300 meters. With the construction of these ships, Brodosplit ranks among the best shipbuilders in the world market.

Brodosplit JSC has established an integrated management system that includes ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001, which is managed centrally. The quality management system according to ISO 9001:2015 is certified according to the “multi-site” model, and additionally “Special Vessel Shipyard” LLC is certified independently. The environmental management system according to ISO 14001:2015 refers to the unique location of Brodosplit and includes all subsidiaries. The occupational health and safety management system according to ISO 45001:2018 is also certified in all of Brodosplit and includes all subsidiaries. The ISO 50001:2018 energy management system is certified at all of Brodosplit and includes all subsidiaries. Laboratory LLC is an authorized testing institution of Bureau Veritas as well as the Croatian Register of Shipping.

KATINA for charter

Launched in 2015, KATINA was designed with charter in mind, offering flexible accommodation and spacious entertaining areas, perfect for either families wanting to unwind or corporate charters looking for large spaces to host cocktail parties.

There are 6 large convertible staterooms, all of which can be set up as either king double or twin rooms. The 2 VIP cabins forward have large bathrooms with both bath and shower, whilst the 4 guest cabins aft have generous bathrooms with showers. The 4 guest cabins aft also have fold-down balconies - the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing morning coffee or an evening cocktail watching the sun set.

On deck there is a Jacuzzi, sunbathing area and 2 bars from which guests can be served. A large elevator also connects the decks. There is a gym in the interior as well as a sauna. Modern audio-visual systems, including on-demand movies and music, plus an extensive selection of water sports toys further enhance the guest experience.
