The POWER 67 combines all the strengths of a power catamaran with Fountaine Pajot’s extensive experience producing award-winning motor yacht and luxury catamarans. The Power 67 is the Flagship model of Fountaine Pajot’s Motor Yacht range and boasts all the signature features of the shipyard’s highly acclaimed lineup, yet has also inherited the luxury, space and elegance of the stunning Alegria 67 sailing catamaran.
The qualities of a Long Cruiser
The Power 67 is designed for long distance sailing… Her power, combined with her hull design, allows her to reach incredible cruising speeds. The Long Cruiser offers large tank capacity and autonomy to take full advantage of all the pleasures of navigation.
Space and Exquisite Comfort
The Power 67 is synonymous with uncompromising luxury where space and comfort equate with elegance and dynamic vision. The power catamaran has distinctive slender thoroughbred lines and a contemporary, more rounded asymmetric interior style in keeping with the latest trends. The yacht has been designed with expansive entertaining and relaxation spaces inside and out while assuring uncompromising standards of safety and performance.
Her 36m² cockpit is designed for unforgettable social occasions, opening fully onto the lounge with several sunbathing spots, a galley with a plancha grill and a dining setting to cater for a large number of guests.
The Power 67’s vast 32m² Flybridge, foredeck with optional Jacuzzi, and Owner suite are simply remarkable and all enjoy direct access from the saloon.
The Luxury of a Five-Star Hotel, privacy and conviviality
Fountaine Pajot has designed a number of interior layouts for the Power 67 to suit an extensive range of individual needs, including long distance cruises (Long Cruise catamaran with transatlantic range), the simple desire to enjoy a day out on the water, or even host a special occasion onboard while at anchor.
Available in a long galley version or a galley beautifully incorporated into the saloon, the Power 67 delivers generous 5-star luxury space that is bold, modern and eminently stylish. Incredible 360° views are afforded through panoramic windows throughout the power catamaran, and her premium quality design and trims help usher in the natural light and further enhance the serenity and comfort of the living areas.
In the Owner’s version, the Power 67 suite is a dedicated 22m² private apartment featuring a capacious dressing room with sofa. An exclusive door to the front Cockpit provides convenient exterior access while retaining privacy, and the Owner’s bathroom epitomizes luxury at sea with a spectacular walk-in shower and designer twin vanities.

Fountaine Pajot Alegria 67 : sea trial of an extraordinary sailing catamaran
Luca D'Ambrosio
March 26, 2019
Fountaine Pajot Alegria 67
This type of boat has undeniable qualities that make it the best option to achieve our dream that, almost always, takes for granted that cruising sail-powered catamarans pay the price of the comfort they offer with sailing performances that cannot be considered as “inebriating”.
That’s at least what we thought until we got our hands on the wheels of the new Fountain Pajot Alegria 67 that, in a wholly unexpected way, terribly surprised us both in terms of sailing performances and ability to sail close to the wind.
The sea trial of the Fountaine Pajot Alegria 67
I climb on board and, before casting off, I make a full inspection of the catamaran, accompanied by Domenico Furci who, nice and helpful, will assist us during the test.
When visiting a 67-foot catamaran it is normal to expect large, spacious and functional spaces but here, on board the Fountaine Pajot Alegria 67, reality really exceeds imagination.
When I get the bow, I even have to rub my eyes to believe what I see: a jacuzzi, perfect to accommodate two people, is integrated into the cockpit. I had never seen one on a sailboat of this size, not even on a catamaran.
But, as I told you before, I will be obliged to swing around soon.
We cast off and I climb on the flybridge. From here, you can steer the boat easily, all rigging is led between the twin helms, easily accessible from both the port and the starboard side. Rigging is also supported by four electric winches, all grouped and positioned close to gears.
We put out to sea and head for the centre of the bay where the wind seems to be more stable.
These figures are really interesting, especially if we consider the load we are carrying.
Just the time to open the lazy bag installed on the V-boom – a simple operation that you can perform by climbing on the hard top – and we haul the mainsail with the help of the winch.
I push the electric furler button, positioned next to the steering console, and unroll the genoa.
We have no difficulty in unfurling the sails, which is another indisputable sign of how the Alegria 67 allows for very easy steering based on the easy sailing principle.
Now, it’s time for us to stop the engine and test the various points of sail.
A great performance, with a true wind blowing at about 10 knots!
The wheel is direct and sensitive, I didn’t expect that on a boat of this size. Steering the boat at this point of sail is definitively funny and easy.
I luff gradually and start to haul sails aft. I find out that it’s an operation I can perform myself thanks to the special configuration of equipment and the help of electrical devices. The mainsail sheet has an electric winch while the traveler is adjusted by an electrically-operated sliding system supplied by Antal.
I sail close to the wind and push the apparent wind towards points of sail that are less congenial to multihulls.
I exaggerate and hug the wind more and more. The Fountain Pajot 67 astonishes me since she sails close to the wind at 35 degrees, with a speed of over 6 knots and a true wind of just 10 knots!
We try to tack and we have to roll the jib to do that. The foresail stay has been already fitted out in order to make the boat prepared to any contingency during the next cruise. No harm done, I push the furler button, release the sheet and, within a few seconds, the jib disappears.
I bear away until 80 degrees of apparent wind. At this point of sail, running on the quarter and with only the genoa, I record a speed of 6.7 knots.
Satisfied with the performance, I turn the autopilot on and enjoy navigation.
I leave the wheel with a smile; this Fountain Pajot Alegria 67 has completely won my heart. She is fast, easy-to-steer and reactive, a genuine ” cruising machine” that is as beautiful as able to really sail.
The interiors of the Fountaine Pajot Alegria 67
The result is a project that, thanks to the implementation of intriguing innovations, perfectly reconciles the large areas on board with the privacy need of the owner and his guests.
The beautiful forward area is a clear example of this concept. Here, a jacuzzi and a cozy dinette are positioned below the deck level. The result is a space that, whilst it doesn’t sacrifice the forward view when sailing, gives moments of precious privacy both in port and at anchor.
A rectangular table, positioned on the left of the cockpit, can seat 12/14 people and communicates directly with the galley on the same side. This central position allows to serve both exterior and interior areas with a solution that, in addition to being blatantly beautiful, is functionally perfect because it is placed at the very centre of the convivial life aboard.
To give priority to the owner, although the Alegraia 67 has 5 guest cabins and 2 crew ones, is certainly a key point of the project.
Moreover, the master cabin has two entries. The first is from the dinette while the second gives instant access to the forward lounge and the jacuzzi. Once again, this configuration confirms the exceptional nature of the work carried out by Berret – Racoupeau architects.
In the cabin, we find a comfortable sofa on the left and a large double bed placed diagonally on the right. Moving aft, we enter, or better, we find ourselves in the bathroom whose first part, equipped with a vanity top with double washbasin, is indeed an open space. This area has surprising dimensions and is equipped with a walk-in closet and two compartments that, closed and separate from each other, act as shower box and toilet respectively.
Particularly noteworthy is the tender platform that, cleverly positioned on the transom, can be raised or immeresed into the water thanks to a special hydraulically-operated mechanism.
Convenient to launch the tender, this solution also gives more functionality and fun to the sunbathing platform that becomes a real beach area when opened over the water.
Conclusions
At the end of our tour, we finally seat and take stock of our visit. This Fountaine Pajot Alegria 67 is a really extraordinary catamaran. Fast under sail and meticulously designed to fully enjoy the sea, she can only be considered as practically perfect.
Her only flaw?
She is going on cruise without us!

Interesting review, thanks Marco! Just to point out a little repeated mistake, it is FountainE Pajot (the E is missing several times). Keep up the good work 🙂

Lagoon Sixty 7: A Dive Into Lagoon’s Latest Luxury Power Catamaran
Lagoon fans were waiting for a long time for the release of the Lagoon Sixty 7. The shipyard has promising challenge: provide a similar comfort than the renowned Lagoon Seventy 8 in a smaller catamaran.
So far, it seems that this boat lives up to its expectations and should satisfy buyers looking for a catamaran with a comfortable living space as well as the ones looking to charter a powercat to sail around Caribbean, Mediterranean or even transatlantic.
Lagoon Sixty 7 layout
2 layouts are available: one with a galley in the hull, and 4-5 cabins, and another one with a central kitchen that can host 5-6 cabins. The power catamaran can host up to 16 persons, your crew will help you with the sailing and the service.
Regardless of your type of layout, the Lagoon Sixty 7 gives you plenty of living space for your cruise. From its large cabin to its aft platforms and flyboard, each square meter has been studied and optimized for comfort. The open spaces and panoramic windows give you plenty of light and a view of your surroundings, an experience that you rarely have on a 20m boat.
Ultimately, the Lagoon Sixty 7 is the equivalent of a 120 square meters luxury apartment, with an unbeatable 360° view from its deck and flyboard, and the capacity to go transatlantic.
A perfect balance between luxury, elegance and stability, packed in a smaller boat than the Sixty 8, but with the same comfort level.

The crew’s reviews speak for themselves: you’ll want to return to your vacation home on the water again and again. Experience seamless service, modern luxury and conviviality aboard Colibrí!
Represented by DMA Yachting, the astonishing charter yacht COLIBRI is a 67 ft sailing catamaran featuring a hot tub. The main attractions of COLIBRI are her impeccable styling and inviting socializing areas. COLIBRI spends the summer and winter season in British Virgin Islands. She was completed by the ship builder Fountaine Pajot in 2021. The well-planned yacht layout features 4 large cabins and easily accommodates up to 8 guests.
COLIBRI is introduced primarily as a sailing catamaran. The yacht layout radiates from the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck is where heart of the yacht is and that's where most of the meals are served. The fascinating cabins are located in the 2 massive hulls. The cabins are connected by stairs to the main saloon - roomy, comfortable and pleasant. Multiple portholes provide a connection with the natural world outside.
The sailboat features Volvo 2 x 150 HP 2 x 12 KW synced to 24K generator engines and a generator.

Crew Information
Captain: Graham Gips
Your Captain and Chef are native Texans who have been married since 2007. Avid travelers, Kristiann and Graham have lived on four continents and visited over fifty countries. Their experiences have taught them that great vacations are made up of many small details. After 10 years in the corporate world, the Gips reached a point where they could focus on what they love to do most: travel, host guests, and sail. They purchased a 44’ catamaran, Allende, upon which they sailed over 30,000 nautical miles. After seven successful seasons, Graham and Kristiann were thrilled to upgrade their charter program aboard the luxurious Colibrí. Dive instructor and stewardess Matilda Money-Kyrle is the newest addition to the crew. Matilda is an encouraging and enthusiastic individual who excels at inspiring guests to try new activities. Her years of working in the service industry and her experience on superyachts make her a valuable addition to the team. Consummate hosts, Graham, Kristiann and Matilda find great pleasure in working as a team and creating lasting memories for their guests. All crew are CPR/First Aid certified and fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Captain Graham Gips Graham is an engineer by training who spent a successful career in the oil and gas industry. While working abroad, he learned to sail on a 20ft racing dinghy with Kristiann as crew. They raced weekly for several years, topped the local podium and earned the chance to compete internationally. While he has a competitive streak, Graham is a detail-oriented and safety-conscious sailor who puts the comfort of his guests first. He knows the islands well and can craft an itinerary that suits everyone aboard. When the anchor is set each evening, Graham then turns his attention to crafting cocktails to your taste. Chef Kristiann Gips Before joining the yachting industry, Kristiann ran a successful catering company. She honed her culinary skills by accommodating a wide variety of preferences and dietary needs each day. In 2021, Kristiann further refined her skills by training at the acclaimed Ashburton Cookery School in England. Kristiann loves to combine gourmet delicacies with local ingredients for new twists on classic dishes. She works with the Captain to plan a menu that perfectly complements the activities on your sailing itinerary. When she’s not in the galley, Kristiann enjoys escorting guests on snorkel safaris. Stewardess / Dive Instructor Matilda Money-Kyrle While earning her degree in Geography, Matilda worked as a water sports instructor in the UK taking guests paddle-boarding, kayaking and cliff jumping. Unwilling to give up a life on the water, Matilda then worked a Mediterranean season onboard a 50m yacht. She achieved her PADI instructor qualification in Thailand and loves sharing her knowledge of diving and marine life. Her knack for teaching will inspire confidence as you try new activities aboard!

Captain Graham Gips

Graham is an engineer by training who spent a successful career in the oil and gas industry.

Chef Kristiann Gips

Before joining the yachting industry, Kristiann ran a successful catering company.

Stewardess / Dive Instructor Matilda Money-Kyrle

While earning her degree in Geography, Matilda worked as a water sports instructor in the UK taking guests paddle-boarding, kayaking and cliff jumping. Anchor in a deserted cove and claim a private beach as your own or while away an evening by a bonfire on a secluded island paradise. Feeling a bit more social? Avid travelers, Kristiann and Graham have lived on four continents and visited over fifty countries. Their experiences have taught them that great vacations are made up of many small details. Consummate hosts, Graham and Kristiann delight in creating memories for their guests.

After 10 years in the corporate world, the Gips reached a point where they could focus on what they love to do most: travel, host guests, and sail. In 2015, they purchased a 44’ catamaran, Allende, upon which they began their chartering career and sailed over 30,000 nautical miles. After seven successful seasons aboard Allende, Graham and Kristiann were thrilled to upgrade their charter program aboard the luxurious Colibrí.

Both Graham and Kristiann are licensed by the United States Coast Guard and are CPR/First Aid certified. They are fully vaccinated for COVID-19. They will be joined by a third crew member for the 2023-2024 season.

Captain Graham Gips

Graham is an engineer by training who spent a successful career in the oil and gas industry.

Chef/Mate Kristiann Gips

Before joining the yachting industry, Kristiann ran a successful catering company. She honed her culinary skills by accommodating a wide variety of preferences and dietary needs each day. In 2021, Kristiann further refined her skills by training at the acclaimed Ashburton Cookery School in England.

Kristiann loves to combine gourmet ingredients with local delicacies for new twists on classic dishes.
