The 62.5m/205'1" 'Apogee' motor yacht built by the Italian shipyard Codecasa is available for charter for up to 12 guests in 7 cabins. This yacht features interior styling by Della Role Design.

Guest Accommodation

Families will particularly love Apogee thanks to her child-friendly setup. Built in 2003, She offers guest accommodation for up to 12 guests with a layout comprising a master suite, three double cabins, two twin cabins and one cabin that can operate as twin or double. There are 13 beds in total, including 4 king, 4 singles and 4 pullmans. She is also capable of carrying up to 17 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

Performance & Range

Apogee is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. Powered by twin Caterpillar engines, she comfortably cruises at 11 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 17 knots with a range of up to 7,000 nautical miles from her 160,000 litre fuel tanks at 12 knots. An advanced stabilisation system on board reduces the side-to-side roll of the yacht and promises guests exceptional comfort levels at anchor or when underway.

Apogee knows a thing or two about fun on the water, with a selection of water toys and accessories for you and your guests to enjoy whilst on charter. Guests can feel the wind in their hair and jump the waves on one of the four Yamaha VX Cruiser WaveRunners. Additionally, there are towable toys offering fun and adventure. In addition there are waterskis that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. If that isn't enough Apogee also features wakeboards, kayaks, fishing equipment, scuba diving equipment and snorkelling equipment. A General Description of Motor Yacht APOGEE

This sizeable luxury yacht APOGEE is a motor yacht. This 62 m (203 ft) luxury yacht was built at Codecasa Yachts in 2003. Superyacht APOGEE is a beautiful yacht that is able to accommodate a total of 12 guests on board and has approximately 17 crew members. Ready for launch in 2003 the recent interior decoration confirms the endowment emanating from the boards of Studio Dellarole.

The Build & Naval Architecture with respect to Luxury Yacht APOGEE

The yacht's general design work came from Codecasa. The formal naval architect intellectual property are the creation of Codecasa. Motor Yacht APOGEE received her elegant interior designing from the interior design company of Studio Dellarole. Italy is the country that decasa Yachts completed their new build motor yacht in. After official launch in 2003 in Viareggio she was thereafter released to the happy owner following sea trials. Her core hull was constructed with steel. The motor yacht main superstructure is fabricated for the most part from aluminium. With a beam of 11.2 m / 36.7 ft APOGEE has spacious size. A reasonably deep draught of 3.5m (11.5ft) limits the list of worldwide ports she can enter, depending on their minimum characteristics.

M/Y APOGEE Engines & Speeds:

The vessel is powered by twin large CATERPILLAR diesel engine(s) and can find a swift maximum limit speed underway of approximately 17 knots. The main engine of the APOGEE creates 2260 horse power (or 1663 kilowatts). Her total HP is 4520 HP and her total Kilowatts are 3326. She is driven by twin screw propellers. As for the yacht’s stabalisers she was built with Vosper. Concerning bow thrusters she uses Schottel. Her industrious cruising speed is 14 knots which offers a range of 6000.

Measuring 62.5 metres (205'1"), Apogee has a beam of 11.2 metres (36' 9"), a draft of 3.8 metres (12' 6") and a generous volume of 1,126 GT. With a guest-to-crew ratio of 12 to 17, it's not hard to imagine why she has become such a successful charter yacht and why her guests keep returning to captain John Fleckenstein and his team year after year. A dedicated team of six interior staff, as well as a world-travelled chef, tend to your every need, all while making sure the entire family are having the time of their lives. Outside, the skilled deck team assures the safety of everyone on board, from taking the kids out on the water toys to providing vacation photography so that you can take your memorable moments home with you.

Comfort First

Accommodating up to 12 guests, the voluminous Apogee hosts six luxurious staterooms finished in classic American-style decor that matches the rest of the spacious communal areas on board. Created at the hand of Della Rolle Design, the grandiose style of her living areas is the perfect 'welcome home' after a fun day on the water or an afternoon at a Caribbean beach bar. Each stateroom offers incredible flexibility for guests and can be arranged to accommodate groups of all sizes and ages.

For ultimate accessibility, an elevator connects all four guest decks for a stair-free commute from your cabin to the sundeck sun loungers at Apogee's top level. This expansive space can be transformed to host large groups for entertaining, and the fact that none of Apogee’s tenders are stowed on deck means she is guest-ready at all times, even with all the gear on board in port. The bridge deck aft is another entertainment favourite and many special moments have been shared here. "We have hosted poker nights and choreography dancing with kids for their parents here," remembers Captain John. "It's a really fun area that we use for a lot of different purposes."

A Day On Board Apogee

Start your day with breakfast on the main deck aft in a comfy family-style setting with fixed sofas. Enjoy a healthy selection of the nearest island's freshest produce as the zero-speed stabilisers keep Apogee and your mimosa perfectly balanced while at anchor. "It's lovely to wake up and start your day with a vibrant personality in the morning," comments Captain John on the shining breakfast stewardess that will help you get your day off to the right start.

The sundeck is not only for indulgent cocktails as the sun goes down. Get your workout in pre-breakfast by making use of the massive air-conditioned gym before taking a morning dip in the jacuzzi that overlooks the foredeck. A private seating area on the Portuguese deck can be set up for intimate dining experiences or simply catching up on your latest novel while basking in the morning sun. There’s a limo tender standing by at all times to take guests ashore to explore on land, while trained stewardesses take care of the young ones on board.

Any time of day, watersports fun becomes part of your daily life on board Apogee. Equipped with four Waverunners and Bladefish, underwater scooters as well as all the usual charter favourites, the experienced crew are ready to host memorable days exploring the water. In fact, says Captain John, the crew's services even extend as far as tailor-made holiday photo and videos. "Willy has been with us for 15 years and he makes a great contribution to the charter experience. If guests would like, he creates a compilation of still photos, underwater photography, drone footage, GoPro shots from the wave runners and the vessel underway. We'll take a crew member on excursions to capture that experience, and in the end, guests have this fantastic video of their entire holiday. It's really something special."

"It's a beach experience but with all the comforts and none of the stresses that come with family beach excursions. Everything is delivered directly from the yacht - you can't beat it! Owner: The master suite is situated full width on the forward main deck (almost 37' wide) with two walks in closets, settee, make-up area and private office.  The office area has oversized floor to ceiling windows and is the perfect retreat to do some business while enjoying the cruising onboard.  His and hers en-suite bathrooms are forward of the bed, and both have bidets, head and shower with a central Jacuzzi bathtub between. Guests: On the lower deck midship, there are two (2) cabins with queen beds and two (2) cabins with twin beds (plus each twin-bedded cabin has a Pullman berth) plus a double VIP cabin on the bridge deck.  There is also a guest/staff cabin located aft of the master on the main deck that can be used as a cabin or as a children's playroom, etc.  All guest cabins are finished in mahogany, and each has its own unique decor package. Refit History

2018 / 2019 REFIT: Main engines overhaul. Tenders overhauled. Exterior paint. Interior varnish. 15-year survey. Stabilizers serviced. Bottom paint stripped to steel and completely redone. Various air-conditioning insulation renewed. Bridge equipment serviced. Boarding ladders removed, serviced, painted. Crew cabins refreshed. New (4) wave runners. Foredeck crane restored as new. New 55" TV Owner's cabin. New beach tents, tables, chairs, etc. New teak work on swim platform and other small areas. 2013: Complete paint job and extensive work throughout the interior and exterior. 2012: Interior woodwork and flooring refinished, all exterior canvas and awnings replaced, galley up-dated. 2005: Hull painted, broadband antenna installed for high-speed internet connection and video conferencing, Lloyd's hull survey and Lloyds annual survey. She performs 2 maintenance periods each year to keep the yacht in excellent condition. 

She was designed to be the most luxurious charter vessel afloat and to be able to serve its owner and guests in the same manner that they would in any 5-star resort anywhere in the world.   The only difference here is that the 5-star resort can be moved to whatever anchorage or region of the world that the owner desires.  This is an entertainer's yacht from the massive outdoor deck areas to the 22' long backlit onyx topped bar (modeled after Monaco's Cafe de Paris and Miami's Delano Hotel), the 50" flat screen television, dance floor with a Wurlitzer jukebox, karaoke machine and other entertainment areas to the gym, the 12 person Jacuzzi and the numerous sunning areas make HER "the" pinnacle of yachting.

APOGEE for charter

Apogee, a 62.5-metre motor yacht is the epitome of chartering luxury. Her stunning mahogany-panelled interior displays the finest Italian craftsmanship, while her beige carpeting and the generous use of bevelled mirrors on doors and dressers add to the luxurious atmosphere.

All decks are accessible by elevator. Although there is a formal saloon on the main deck, the most popular gathering place has proved to be the sky lounge, where there is a 22-foot long onyx-topped bar, huge TV, games table, Wii, jukebox, disco lights and a karaoke machine.

On deck, Apogee offers wide open spaces on all levels. Her notable amenities include a large breakfast bar on the main deck aft, al fresco dining on the sky lounge deck aft, and, on the sundeck, a well-equipped air-conditioned gymnasium, 12 person Jacuzzi and two wet bars on the huge aft deck sunning area.

Tenders and toys are one of Apogee's strong points. The main tender is a 7-metre Novurania hard-top limousine that will assure guests of a dry and comfortable ride ashore to that smart dinner engagement. The 5.79-metre Novurania Jet with its 260 hp engine is a capable tow vehicle for Apogee's water skis, wakeboard, and other tows. Four 3-person Yamaha Waverunners are ideal for motorheads, while fitness enthusiasts will adore the pair of two-person inflatable kayaks. Other watersports gear includes four 5000 Series Bladefish underwater propulsion units, snorkelling, fishing equipment and scuba gear.

Apogee blends the ambiance of the Old World with modern conveniences and a great selection of watersports gear.
