Launched mid-February 2019, 90m/295ft Oceanco superyacht DREAMBOAT (Hull Y716) is constructed with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with interior and exterior styling from Terence Disdale and Espen Oeino respectively. The exterior styling from Espen Oeino features large overhangs from the superstructure and cut-out sections in the bulwarks to create a bold, classic silhouette.

Guests arriving by tender have access to the lower deck swim platform, where two staircases lead to the extended main deck aft fitted with a swimming pool. An exterior staircase leads to the upper deck aft, which has plenty of space for alfresco dining and entertaining, and the Owner's deck above features a Jacuzzi to port on the flush foredeck, where there is an abundance of room for sun loungers or an alfresco lounge.

The partially shaded sundeck is an excellent space for relaxation at any time of the day, and the aft section can be used as a helipad.

A full carbon canopy mast house and the mast is positioned above the sundeck and offers excellent shade as well as functionality.

DREAMBOAT Specifications

The interior from Terence Disdale creates an airy modern interior where texture plays an important role: natural wood, limestone floors, semi-precious stone vanities, parchment, leather and mother of pearl is used from the shared guest areas through to the en-suite bathrooms to breath-taking effect. Large windows flood the interiors with natural light, bringing out the detail in the natural materials while providing panoramic views.

Twin 3,600kW MTU 20V 4000 M73L engines produce 4,828 HP.

DREAMBOAT Yacht – Impeccable $180 Million Superyacht

DreAMBoat yacht is a 90 meters (295 feet) long gem. She was built in the Netherlands by Oceanco, one of the world’s best ship makers.

It was launched in 2019. Beautiful: This vessel can hold 23 guests in 11 luxury cabins and 33 crew members in 16 cabins.

To make sure that the inside of the DreAMBoat was exactly what the owner wanted, Terence Disdale was chosen to design and build the custom interior.

There are bright and airy elements inside that match the ship’s overall style. This is how the inside of this yacht is decorated.

The inside of the piece is made very well and polished in a very high-quality way across the whole yacht.

To add visual interest, suede and exotic wood were added to the upholstery. Light cream fabrics and leather are used for the rest of the furniture.

Among the yacht are some fantastic cabins and VIP suites on the top deck.

DreAMBoat is air-conditioned in every room. She has a 6m x 3.1m swimming pool on the main deck and a separate spa pool on the sun deck.

It was the job of Espen Oeino to make DreAMBoat look ‘understated and timeless.’ He was able to achieve what he set out to do.

An aluminum superstructure and a steel hull make up a superstructure that is known for its unique chamfers and knuckle lines.

There is a main swimming pool on the main deck. The main deck has two outdoor levels that are only for the use of the owners, a private owners deck, an upper deck dining room, and a sundeck with a Jacuzzi.

The DreAMBoat yacht has a total length of 90 meters (295 feet) and a beam of 14.2 meters (46.7 ft) She has a weight of 2950 tonnes.

She cruises at speeds of 15 knots and can reach a top speed of 20 knots.

Twin MTU diesel engines give her a long-range and a top speed of about 15 knots, the company says.

Currently, it’s estimated that the DreAMBoat yacht’s annual running costs are around $16 million.

Oceanco launches 90m/295ft (y716) DreAMBoat

Oceanco’s new 90-meter superyacht Y716 DreAMBoat was successfully launched on 13 February 2019. Oceanco’s 90-meter DreAMBoat (Y716) is a first-time design collaboration between Espen Øino International and Terence Disdale Design.

At 2950GT, the volume allows for luxurious accommodation for up to 23 guests and a well thought- out crew’s quarters for a maximum of 33 crew members. The generous overhangs from the superstructure and cut outs in the bulwarks lend a classic and strong appearance.

“The overall effect,” says Øino, “is a yacht with clean uncluttered lines and a coherent design.”

The design emphasis is on large windows that flood the interior with daylight and offer unspoiled views from the inside out. Outside spaces feature a large swimming pool on the main aft deck, an enormous partially enclosed sundeck with Jacuzzi and copious options for seating/ entertaining. There is also a private Jacuzzi on the Owner’s deck. The interior design is sophisticated and serene with Disdale’s inimitable attention to detail. Nearly everything onboard from furniture to lighting is custom made.

Following his philosophy not to gild the lily, Terence Disdale, has created an interior that incorporates bespoke surfaces, natural wood, limestone floors, semi-precious stone vanities, parchment, leather and mother of pearl. The effect is chic without being overdone.

State- of- the- art technology prevails from all aspects. For instance, this yacht includes a complex IP ship’s computer operating system as well as full carbon canopy mast house and mast which forms an integral part of the overall design.

“It has been an intense project, but with some clear direction from the Owner, excellent collaboration between Espen Øino, Terence Disdale Design and Oceanco, we have achieved a great deal and are poised to deliver a stunning yacht,” says Dan Jackson, the Owner’s representative.

DreAMBoat is currently being commissioned for impending sea trials and is on track for delivery before the summer season.

It is interesting to note that DreAMBoat is Oceanco’s 33rd yacht in its 33 years of existence.

Oceanco delivers 'DreAMBoat' to owners

Oceanco has delivered its new 90m superyacht Y716 DreAMBoat to its owners. This latest project is the result of a first-time design collaboration between Espen Øino International and Terence Disdale Design.

Roderick Gort, project director at Oceanco describes the delivery of DreAMBoat as a “milestone in the construction process of delivering the ‘Owners Perfect Yacht’.”

With a volume of 2950gt, it allows ample space for up to 23 guests and a generous crew’s quarters for up to 33 crewmembers. The yacht’s large overhangs from the superstructure and cut outs in the bulwarks create a classic and strong appearance. Øino, who penned the exterior design, describes the overall effect as a yacht “with clean uncluttered lines and a coherent design".

The emphasis of the design is on large windows that flood the interior with natural light and offers excellent views from the inside. The exterior boasts a large swimming pool on the main deck, an enormous partially enclosed sundeck with a Jacuzzi and myriad options for seating and entertaining. The owner also has a private jacuzzi on their deck.

According to Oceanco, Disdale’s attention to detail has meant that the interior is sophisticated and serene, incorporating bespoke surfaces, natural wood, limestone floors, semi-precious stone vanities, parchment, leather and mother of pearl. Following his philosophy to not gild the lily, the overall effect is “chic but not overdone”.

DreAMBoat boasts state-of-the-art technology throughout – from its complex IP ship’s computer operating system to its full carbon copy mast house and mast, which forms an integral part of the overall design.

Discussing the finished product, the owner’s representative Dan Jackson, says: "From the first time the Owner saw the boat, still in pink faring compound in the outfitting facility and met all involved in the project, he knew that the combination of Espen's timeless exterior, Terence Disdale's elegant and calming interior and Oceanco's ability to deliver the boat on time and to the quality he required, was just right for him. So, after some minor enhancements made to suit him and his family, we got right into it and here we are, 18 months later, proud to be delivering him his DreAMBoat."

2018 proved to be of Oceanco’s most productive years to date, and, after this strong start, 2019 is set to be another fine year for the Dutch superyacht building behemoth.

It comes after the 90 metre, 2950GT yacht was delivered to her owners earlier this month after completing sea trials. The yacht's launch took place in February. The yard previously revealed that the owner will spend the summer season cruising DreAMBoat with his children, grandchildren and friends. DreAMboat  features an exterior designed by  Espen Øino International  and opulent interior by  Terence Disdale Design . Built from a steel hull and aluminium superstructure,  DreAMBoat's  exterior profile features overhangs from the superstructure and cut outs from the bulwarks which create a "classic and strong appearance." Speaking about the design, Øino said: "At the outset the exterior design was intended to be understated and timeless. Working closely with Oceanco all the primary surfaces and details were created keeping this in mind. The result is one I think we all can identify with." Disdale meanwhile revealed that he was asked to work on the project after completing the interior of the 85.5 metre Oceanco yacht Sunrays . DreAMBoat's interior includes bespoke surfaces, with key materials including natural wood, limestone floors, parchment, leather and mother-of-pearl. The result effect is "elegant without being overdone," Disdale said. “Our interior design features many exotic finishes creating a harmonious and calm environment including surprise details to entertain the eye." He added that he and his team had avoided the "big wow factor that soon becomes boring". "We believe that DreAMBoat with her quietly sophisticated interior is indeed a future classic," he said. Key features on board DreAMBoat include a swimming pool on the main aft deck and a spacious sundeck with a Jacuzzi and outdoor cinema. A second Jacuzzi sits on the owner’s private deck. A full carbon canopy mast house and mast are also key parts of the design. A spa sits on the bridge deck aft with a custom-built hydro massage bath. Accommodation is for a total of 23 guests and 33 crew in a massive 2,950GT interior. The propulsion package consists of a pair of MTU 4828 engines while the yacht’s beam measures 14.2 metres. Oceanco project manager Roderick Gort added: “Delivering DreAMBoat is the ultimate milestone in Oceanco's ethos of creating the 'Owners Perfect Yacht'." The project marks Oceanco’s 33rd yacht in its 33 year history and follows fellow 90 metre  DAR , which made her debut at the 2018 Monaco Yacht Show. The boat is one of several enormous superyacht projects in the works at Oceanco, including 109 metre  Y720  and 125 metre  Y721 , both due in 2021. The 117 metre  Y719 , also known as Project Acquaintance, is due next year. The average length of all 34 yachts the yard has delivered since 1993 is a massive 73.1 metres. Following her launch in February and the successful completion of sea trials in May,  DreAMBoat has now been welcomed into the arms of her new owner.  She is now en route to the Mediterranean, where she will spend the summer season hosting her guests around the region’s glamorous cruising grounds.  The 90m superyacht is PYC-compliant, meaning she can host up to 23 guests on board, and sports exterior design from Espen Oeino and interiors headed up by Terence Disdale. Speaking about his latest work on the yacht, Terence Disdale has said that he and his team were keen to “avoid the big ‘wow factor’ that soon becomes boring.
