Reliance 44 sloop, “Voyager”. Just finished a 14 yr. circumnavigation and is completely equipped for a Caribbean cruse or another circumnavigation. Long, narrow and strongly built with a deep “V” hull, modified full keel and barn door rudder, makes Voyager a no-nonsense fast and sea-kindly yacht. An aft cockpit layout with hard dodger/bimini, raised cabin top to mast, then flush deck fwd of mast, makes "Voyager" a safe and comfortable vessel, at sea. The interior is, inviting and comfortable with all the creature comforts such as a powerful refrigeration system, custom crafted mattress for the V-berth and a computer-centric nav station/office. The solar panels, (5), KISS wind generator & a 210A engine driven alternator cover all the power requirements. Propulsion is via the venerable, “work-horse”, Perkins 4-236, 82 hp diesel connected to a 4-blade, feathering propeller, providing the most efficient drive system under power and low drag under sail. The rig is simple with a slab reefing mainsail and roller furling Genoa. A quick release inner forestay provides heavy weather capability and a clear foredeck when not needed. "Voyager" has been loved and maintained by a knowledgeable Engineer/Captain. She comes completely equipped with too many spares to list including a complete set of engine accessory, spares, making her ready to go back to blue water again.
Starting at the foot of the companionway to starboard is a dedicated nav station designed around an integrated computer-based navigation system, a combination head/shower to starboard with vanity, sink and beautiful teak grating. To port is a full size quarter berth. Moving forward is the main salon and galley amidships which is very well ventilated with numerous overhead hatches and ports, the cabin sole is teak and holly. The salon has a large centerline drop leaf table and a settee to port and starboard with storage below the settees. Located aft of the starboard settee is the galley. There is a large double stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressure water. There is a stainless steel 2-burner stove with oven, 3 drawer bureau and overhead cabinets for ample storage. The engine compartment is located beneath the sink. Forward of the main salon are two large stand-up storage lockers starboard and port. These are large lockers with ample room for dive tanks, safety gear and general storage. Continue forward to the large v-berth cabin with a custom mattress by Handcrafted Mattress Company. All the way forward is the chain locker access.

The 55m/180'5" motor yacht 'Reliance' is an excellent new superyacht for the luxury charter market. Delivered by the Dutch shipyard Heesen and featuring interior styling by Italian designer LUCA DINI Design & Architecture she can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests in 6 cabins.
Built in 2023, Reliance boasts a multitude of decks ideal for relaxation and entertainment indoors or outdoors, ensuring guests will live la dolce vita on the open waters. She has sensational features such as beach club and gym.
Guest Accommodation
Reliance offers guest accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising a master suite located on the main deck, one VIP cabin, two double cabins and two twin cabins. The supremely spacious full beam master suite features extensive storage space provided by the dressing room. She is also capable of carrying up to 13 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.
Onboard Comfort & Entertainment
A charter on Reliance is comfortable and convenient thanks to the provided amenities, notably a steam room, all you need to relax muscles and reduce stress. Soothe tired limbs and reinvigorate yourself in the sauna plus even the most discerning of charter guests will enjoy the included beach club. A gym with all the latest equipment is available for a good work out and soak up the bubbles in style in the deck jacuzzi.
Whatever your activities on your charter, you'll find some impressive features are seamlessly integrated to help you, notably Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing you to stay connected at all times, should you wish. You can stay comfortable on board whatever the weather, with air conditioning during your charter.
Performance & Range
Reliance is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. Powered by twin MTU engines, she comfortably cruises at 13 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 15 knots with a range of up to 4,500 nautical miles from her 100,000 litre fuel tanks at cruising speed. An advanced stabilisation system on board reduces the side-to-side roll of the yacht and promises guests exceptional comfort levels at anchor or when underway.
When not cruising Reliance has onboard an incredible selection of water toys and accessories for you and your guests to connect with the waters around you. Principle among these are two Flyboards which is a must for any self-respecting thrill-seeker, prepare for supersize thrills - even beginners will enjoy the thrill of swooping skywards and ‘dolphining’ back into the water. Take to the sea on a Jet Ski offering you power and control on the water. Also there are towable toys offering fun and adventure. If that isn't enough Reliance also features waterskis, a seabob, wakeboards, kayaks, inflatable water toys and much more. Reliance features two tenders, but leading the pack is a 7.2m/23'7" Cobra Ribs to transport you in style.

 First look: Inside Heesen's 55m superyacht RelianceInterior images of the 55-metre Heesen motor yacht Reliance , previously known as Project Gemini , have been revealed. She has joined the charter fleet with West Nautical and will be heading to the Caribbean for her inaugural winter season before returning to the Mediterranean for summer 2024. This follows the yacht's delivery in September 2023, with West Nautical overseeing the construction and Heesen stating that the delivery was completed "in co-operation with the Dutch authorities". The yacht began the build process on speculation but was purchased 15 months into construction by a client introduced by Arcon Yachts Monaco. Her sporty, shark-grey exteriors are the work of long-time Heesen collaborator Omega Architects and interiors are courtesy of Luca Dini . Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she forms part of Heesen’s popular 55 Steel series, of which there are a total of five delivered yachts – including the 55-metre Vida and 55-metre Laurentia . Reliance 's muscular lines and predatory profile are achieved with a “shark tooth” segment on the superstructure forward. While the yacht’s exteriors come from an established collaboration, Reliance is the first Heesen yacht with interiors by Luca Dini. The Italian designer and his team worked to adapt the interior to create a refined ambience with fresh cream tones – especially prevalent in the main saloon, which includes a dining table for 12 guests overlooked by warm-toned feature lighting. The yacht accommodates 12 guests in six spacious cabins, including an 82-square-metre owners' apartment on the main deck forward and the VIP on the bridge deck. The remaining guest cabins – two doubles and two twins – are on the lower deck. Reliance features a number of customisations, including an opening window in the full-beam owner’s suite. The space is characterised by Tay wood panelling with dark oak framing, creating a calm and relaxed space, while the ensuite is fitted with marble units and features a dressing room, central bath, two showers, twin toilets and his-and-her sinks. Up top, her impressive sundeck boasts a Jacuzzi, sun loungers and a well-equipped bar with a teppanyaki grill. The full-beam sky lounge, located on the upper deck, is also fitted with ample seating and a bar area with floor-to-ceiling windows leading straight out onto the upper aft deck. Reliance also features windows in the transom door which allows natural light to pour into the beach club, which is kitted with a large swim platform and wellness centre. Guests can benefit from Technogym exercise equipment, a sauna and hammam. Perfect for charter guests, a well-stocked toybox includes Seabobs, electric surfboards and Jet Skis. There are also two tenders for excursions ashore and transportation. Power derives from twin MTU 8V 4000 M63 IMO-Tier III diesel engines for a top speed of 15.5 knots and a transatlantic range of 4,500 miles at 13 knots.  A private island off the coast of Nova Scotia, Canada, is on the market at $9.95 million Canadian dollars, or about $7.3 million. Strum Island is home to a luxurious lodge, and visitors can use the grounds for hunting, sailing, or just entertaining family and friends. The 10-acre property is one of over 350 islands in Mahone Bay, which is about an hour's drive from Halifax, Nova Scotia. The current owner, Richard Goldenberg, told Business Insider that people currently pay to stay on the island like they do for a hotel. Goldenberg said that the original developer thought Strum Island was beautiful — one of the few spots from which you could see and easily access the nearby town of Mahone Bay. According to listing agent Mariana Cowan, of Coldwell Banker Maritime Realty, the property was conceived by its original owner as an escape from 9/11-era fears and stresses. "That was the initial reason why he built the home, post-9/11, to have that getaway. That was very important to him as the initial developer of the property," Cowan told the National Post . "That is how it came about — to build this wonderful property as a safe haven." Goldenberg also noted that whoever purchases the island could live there if they wanted to. It's one of the closest islands to the mainland, making it ideal for anyone who doesn't want to be too far from civilization. But because of some of the island's features — from gardens to fishing opportunities — you might not ever have to leave. Take a look a this luxurious getaway in Canada. The developer purchased Strum Island in 2001 and started construction on the lodge in 2003.The seawall was the first major step in construction. It's made up of a circle of five- to 10-ton boulders that surround the island. The property took about 16 years to complete.After construction finished in 2019, Goldenberg became a partner. One of the obstacles to building on an island is that you must travel back and forth between the mainland for materials and supplies."Most of the stuff comes in on a barge," Goldenberg said. "The barge loads up the building material, brings it over to the island, and then it's used for construction." The main lodge is 9,500 square feet.The lodge has six bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. There is also a two-story guest house.There's another building on the island that has two apartments used for staff, according to Goldenberg, that can also be used to house even more guests. The staff were provided by the property management and did cleaning, laundry, and cooking. The island is only a three-minute boat ride from the mainland.The town of Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia, one of the closest access points to the mainland, can be seen from the island. Nearby Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, which is classified as a historic site by UNESCO, is only a 12-minute drive away from the dock on the mainland. The property is being sold with two boats included, the listing says.All the furniture is also included in the purchase price. If you want an even faster mode of transport, there’s a helicopter landing pad on the island.Strum Island is about 70 miles from Halifax Stanfield International Airport, the closest major airport. There’s an undersea cable connecting the island to the mainland’s power grid.There are also propane generators to provide backup electricity just in case the power goes out. The property has its own well, so visitors are not reliant on the mainland for water.There's an aquifer under the island that supplies the island with water. There's a sewage system underground as well.
