We had a fabulous time using Marina del Rey boat rentals! The driver was named Josh and he was just fantastic! The sites we saw were breathtaking. Just one whiff of that Ocean air started my day off on the right foot. I will never forget my memories on the Seafari.

Super fun and easy way to feel like a boat owner without all the obligation and expenses. I rented a small Boston whaler to venture around the harbor, and I found the equipment to be in perfect shape, very clean, easy to operate, and reasonably priced.

Was looking for a multi-generational sunset dinner cruise (ages 22 - 82) - Colin and Sarah hit it out of the park! Calico Yachts was definitely more expensive than the other options available, but the experience was seamless and lovely (even my fastidious grandfather was raving about everything from the food to the service to the quality of the communication/parking instructions. We booked a private dinner from Chef Sarah and the food was delicious! She also did a fantastic job accommodating dietary restrictions.

Matt was an awesome captain, and the boat provided a smooth and fun ride for our family today. We headed toward Malibu in 15-20 kt winds, and the boat gave us a smooth ride. Matt is obviously an experienced sailor and was safe, kind and a gracious host. You'll enjoy the ride with Matt for sure!

My guests and I had a lovely time on Adam’s yacht. The boat was very clean and many different places for guests to hangout. Him and his crew made sure every need was met and showed us a great time. We took a few dips in the ocean and had catering/drinks that Adam’s team took care of serving to us. Such an incredibly fun luxury experience on the water, can’t wait to come back soon! 🎉

Chris was an exceptional boat operator! He expertly guided us through the marina, pointing out some amazing sights and sharing interesting details along the way. His recommendations for places to eat were spot on. The boat ride itself was incredibly smooth and safe, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. We had a birthday party onboard the Regency tonight. The entire crew were amazing. Francini was our director and made sure everything was set up and all of our needs were met. She was very kind, made sure everyone had a good time. She made herself available to all of our guests through the entire cruise.

What can I say except that this company provides excellence in everything that they do! I rarely find such genuine care and comfort from the beginning of the process to the end – I felt very taken care of and valued. In addition, the party was better than I expected! The service was amazing, the food was outstanding – I am still getting comments even months after – my guests are still telling me what a great time they had and asking when are we going to do it again! All of my guests (and me too) loved cruising into the sunset with cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres on the sky deck, dining at dusk with the great cafe lighting that Asdruval Party Rentals provided and then dancing the night away to awesome music by Brad at Rhythm City!

My cousins rented a Yacht for my Aunt’s 70th birthday party. We launched from Marina Del Ray and the boat did a loop around the marina for 5 hours. It goes by pretty fast especially since you’ll be enjoying dinner, entertainment, and when available, the open bar. The staff were amazing and the bartender kept up with all the orders with no hiccup. Years ago, my other cousin had a reception on another type of Yacht for their wedding reception. Maybe one day I’ll throw something on a Yacht and invite my closest friends. I think this is a better way to throw a special party than the usual land locked location.

I had my 50th birthday party on October 27th 2017. Erin was my party planner she made sure everything ran smoothly I had no worries. The decorations were beautiful I had a gatsby-themed party. I wish I could name everyone who helped on the yacht. I had 130 guess on the DANDEANA yacht all my guests were attended to no problems. The food was delicious the drinks were great the service was fabulous. This is my second yacht charter with this company and they never seem to fail me. Thank you everyone who helped for me to have a grand 50th birthday even the ones behind the scenes, I appreciate you all I’ll see you at my next event thank you everyone. Captain was great; thank you Jeffrey for greeting everyone. The casino on board was perfect, my band was great, my DJ was great. Thanks again I will never forget this day.

We held my Mom’s 70th birthday here on 1028 and we had an amazing time. The boat was gorgeous, very clean, modern and elegant. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful. Our planner, Erin, was very helpful. She was flexible and accommodated all of my needs, and gave great advice given her experience. I would absolutely recommend this boat for any of your parties.

Fantasea hosted my mother’s ash scattering at sea earlier today and I could not have been happier with the results. The food and service were excellent! Kudos to Jasmine, Erin, Capt Luis, Capt Carlos, Mariano, Julio, Wilson and Francini for their wonderful team work! I highly recommend Fantasea!

Comfortable clothes and layers! The temperature varies a lot even within a couple of hours on the water. Make sure to bring layers so you stay comfortable the entire trip. Additionally, we require shoes to be removed prior to boarding. This ensures the yachts remain in the best condition possible for future guests.

Yes, all our yachts come with a Bluetooth stereo so you can connect easily and play your own music for the atmosphere you’re looking to enjoy.

You will board the yacht at Dock 55. The above address will bring you to the parking lot. Once you are inside the parking go all the way to the right and you will see the Dock 55 boarding gate.

No, gratuity is not included. We recommend 15-20% for excellent service.

We understand not everyone has their sea-legs so if anyone tends to get motion sick or seasick, or if you aren’t sure, we recommend planning ahead and choosing a remedy you’re comfortable with before you board. A quick google search will help you understand the options; pills, patches, homeopathic, etc.

Your captain has full authority over the route and destination based on the conditions. While uncommon there are instances where weather and sea conditions may prevent the charter from sticking to the planned itinerary. If the weather or sea conditions are extreme, the captain will decide if it is unsafe to proceed and we will work with you to reschedule for another available day.

• Over 13-years Old: Life jackets are not required for guests older than 13-years. However, they are available for all guests and can be worn as an added safety precaution if you feel more comfortable… plus orange is stylish!

Serenity is a 34 foot Gemini 105Mc Catamaran sailboat, well equipped for an afternoon of sea lion, harbor seal, bird and dolphin watching or an evening under the setting sun. She has a beam of 14 feet, so there's plenty of space to spread out on deck ... or ride one of the 2 bowrider seats at the bow (front) ... kick back in the hammock at the stern (back). Climb aboard Serenity - 34 foot Catamaran Sailboat - for some fun in the sun! First, a bit of sightseeing around the marina. With over 4000 slips of small kayaks to mega yachts, Marina del Rey is one of the largest small craft harbors in the world. Sea Lions, harbor seals,  and several bird species can be seen lazing about on the docks and rock jetties. Then we’ll head into the bay, sailing past Venice and Santa Monica Piers / Boardwalk toward The Getty / Malibu before heading back to the Marina.

Located in the center of Los Angeles between Playa del Rey and Venice Beach just 4 miles north of LAX Airport. Marina del Rey is a coastal community quite known for its love of the water and sailing yachts.

Marina del Rey has 807 acres, half of which is under water. The city borders include west of Lincoln Boulevard, east of Via Dolce, north of Ballona Creek, and south of Washington Boulevard. This area is owned by Los Angeles County and is leased out to private businesses that have been long established in Marina del Rey.

THE PEOPLE OF MARINA DEL REY

The U.S. Census defines Marina del Rey as having a population of 8,866. This includes 4,602 yacht slips in 22 anchorages and marinas, 5,445 apartments for rent, 600 condominiums for purchase, 6 hotels with 1,105 hotel rooms, and a million square feet of office, retail, and restaurant development.

Marina del Rey is governed by Los Angeles County and is under the management of the LA County Department of Beaches & Harbors. Its people are represented by an elected local Supervisor to the Fourth District of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors.

PUBLIC SERVICE

Public service and safety is provided by the LA Sheriff’s Department. Southern California Edison, L.A. County Waterworks District #80, Verizon Telephone, Time Warner Cable, and Southern California Gas Company all provide the utilities. There are no schools within this part of Marina del Rey and education is provided by the LA Unified School District.

GREATER MARINA DEL REY AREA

Marina del Rey’s great area community is defined by the U.S. Postal Service and the U.S. Census as the zip code area 90292. Its population is 21,576 and includes portions within the City of Los Angeles and portions within an unincorporated area of Los Angeles County.

Governance in the portion located within the City of LA is provided by the City of LA, the Mayor’s Office, LA City Council, the elected City Council Member for the 11th District, as well as portions of the 2nd and 3rd Supervisorial Districts of the LA County Board of Supervisors.

Businesses in the area are represented by the LAX Coastal Area Chamber of Commerce and the Venice Chamber of Commerce.

MARINA DEL REY HISTORY

Marina del Rey has been a long time in the making. Construction of the jetties for the present entrance channel began in December 1957, but efforts toward a harbor at this location actually began some seventy years earlier, sponsored, ironically, by a railroad.

In 1887, a far-sighted man, named M.C. Wicks, organized the Port Ballona Development Company under the auspices of the Santa Fe Railroad. Wicks dreamed of developing the Playa del Rey estuary and inlet into a major commercial harbor to serve the Los Angeles area.

He managed to raise $300,000, all of which went for construction work over a three-year period. However, Wicks went bankrupt and the area was eventually taken over by duck hunters. Another quarter of a century passed without action, but the dream kept recurring.

In 1916, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers reported to Congress that a new proposal to develop the Playa del Rey Inlet and basin as a major harbor was impractical.

Went on a sunset cruise with a group of friends on an incredible Winter So Cal afternoon that did not disappoint. Valter and his wife Nicole were super accommodating and lived up to the hostess with the mostest saying. First, the catamaran is a beautiful 42ft vessel that had clean bathrooms, a big hang out area in the galley if you get cold, a nice outdoor lounge area on the back of the catamaran where we spent a lot of time living life to the fullest. The front of the catamaran has two nets where you can literally look down into the clear blue sea, take in that salty air and if you are lucky like we were you can take view dolphins swimming right underneath us. Our 3 hour cruise ended with a gorgeous sunset that wrapped an afternoon we will never forget. Thank you Valter & Nicole for making our experience first class. Can’t wait to tell all our friends and come back for another voyage. Maybe Catalina next time!

We never thought we could afford to rent a boat with a captain, but were pleasantly surprised, basically its the same cost to rent alittle duffy but this boat is big, wow, will be back soon

We never wanted to go back to dry land!

We had a great sail out of Marina Del Rey. The boat was nice and the captain Allen was friendly. It was a beautiful day for a sail and our first time taking our toddler out. This was our second time using OnBoat and would definitely recommend.

We booked the Gilligan‰Ûªs cruise through OnBoat. I only wish the boat could take more people, but, for a small group, nothing could possibly come close to competing with them for price. This 35 foot yacht was an excellent choice for us. We sailed around the breakwater, saw lots of sights in the marina, and, even spotted dolphins! Oh my gaaah so much fun for very little money! Captain daniel is super freindly, what an amazing time over the water

chartered a sail boat for my 35th birthday last month and had an amazing experience! My group reserved the charter with Captain Daniel and we a re so glad we did. He was knowledgable, friendly and accommodated our needs and wants.

Captain Daniel and Gabby are the best! They both were very kind and informative. My husband and I really enjoyed our chartered adventure. We were visiting for our wedding anniversary and this was our highlight of our stay. Thank you guys again. Sally P.

Took the 101 and 103 class. Never had any sailing experience but always wanted to learn. This was a great intro and loved our instructor Jen, she made it really easy and safe and fun. Definitely want to continue. Highly recommend!

I just took the three-day ASA 104 (bareboat) and ASA 114 (catamaran) course with instructor Greg. Organized as a trip from Marina del Rey to the isthmus of Catalina and back. The boat was gorgeous and in absolutely pristine condition. Greg did a great job balancing direct instruction with standing back to provide hands-on experience. His maneuvering drills among mooring buoys were particularly helpful. Maybe not the stuff of sailing fantasies, but getting your boat safely to its mooring without incident is in fact the foundation of a good sailing trip. These were not my home waters (I'm out of SF Bay), which was kind of the point. My classmates/shipmates were also from various places around the country. They were all pleasant and capable, which made it engaging to learn from each other. If you're serious about learning how to skipper well, and having fun while along the way, Blue Pacific is a good choice.

I just got back from an ASA 104/114 "certification weekend" and it was great. Our instructor was Greg, a former school teacher/administrator turned ASA instructor that provided a patient and calm approach to learning the material and practicing our skills. The boat we were on was excellent - a 2022 Leopard 45, which felt new in every way, and provided a very nice platform to learn from. I feel confident that I have the knowledge to charter one of these vessels, and now just need to gain additional experience and build out my sailing-resume as I practice my skills. I drove up from San Diego for this class and two others on board came even further - one from PA and another from OR, so no matter where you are - this class is worth the trip (just make sure to complete 101/103 prerequisites). I just took the ASA 101 and 103 courses here and it was AMAZING!! I was familiar with sailboats but had never sailed myself and had been wanting to get certified for a long time. My instructor Jen was the absolute best. Her hands on way of teaching made me feel comfortable and confident the entire time. My crew was awesome and I had the best time out on the boat all day every day, it was SO much fun!! I highly recommend Blue Pacific if you're looking for sailing lessons!

For years, I've been wanting to build up my confidence in sailing. Instructor Jenn (and Greg too!) did just that! As well, BPY worked with me to get in both ASA 101/103 in a timely manner. Looking forward to more time on the water and mahalo to the confidence these guys instilled in me!

We had a great day at Sea with BPY. Our group of 15 rented a 75 footer. Things got pretty crazy once the Aux chord started to get passed and the white claws started to flow. The staff was amazing, cleaning as we were having fun eating cake and drinking and always making sure the fridge was stocked. They also helped load and unload the paddle boards. I was hoping to drive the boat - got Denied. Our outing was a little long, 6 hours at Sea in the heat was draining and fatiguing. Luckily there was indoor seating and tons of H2O

Friendly, helpful staff. Nice sailboats in good condition. They didn't explain the parking well and lots require payment by a payment station, I got a ticket during the charter. Also, the web prices are low bc they don't include include the cleaning fee. We ended only being out for two hours and had to help furl the mainsail and boat up clean up.

Took the 101 class with them. Instructor was very knowledgeable and course was well organized. Felt much more comfortable with being on the water after.

Wife and I came into Marina del Ray for a long weekend and decided to take a day sail. Blue Pacific Yachting (Ruth) helped us all along the way. Even though we are avid sailors, we aren't from the area. Again, Ruth hooked us up with a very knowledgeable and personable Captain Alex. I would definitely recommend Blue Pacific Yachting

Outstanding charters! Outstanding service! We've chartered twice now and the concierge-like service is unmatched in the South Bay. Chartering the boat was so quick and easy both times. Both times we were met at the dock by the courteous and knowledgeable staff who walked me through a very thorough pre-sail inspection and walk-through, answering all of my questions. The boat, Dream Catcher (Dufour 560), is in impeccable condition and is obviously well-maintained. We have become members knowing that we have found a great organization who will meet all of our chartering needs.

“The Accountant” actor, 52, looked downright miserable for movie night with his child Seraphina, 15, breaking cover after Jennifer Lopez requested to ditch his famous last name in their ongoing divorce.

Affleck appeared stressed, clinging to his cellphone while escorting his teenager and several friends to an AMC movie theater in the upscale Los Angeles, California, neighborhood of Marina Del Rey on Thursday evening. The outing came just hours after Lopez’s divorce documents revealed she no longer wants her legal name, “Jennifer Lynn Affleck,” after taking Ben’s surname following their July 16, 2022, Las Vegas wedding.

The “Air” star wore the stress on his face, sporting a serious look and failing to engage with the kids as he led the way from the parking lot to the cinemas.

Affleck kept it casual in beige cargo pants, a gray T-shirt and a blue button-up that he left undone. The Oscar-winning actor rocked a pair of his signature Nike sneakers, holding his phone in one hand and his car keys in the other.

While Affleck looked down in the dumps, Seraphina appeared to be in a great mood. The teenager showcased a smile while chatting with friends and following her famous father into the movie theater.

Lopez, 55, filed for divorce from Affleck on Tuesday, August 20 — the anniversary of their second wedding ceremony because she reportedly wanted it to “sting.”

Revealing the reason for the split , the “Let’s Get Loud” singer cited irreconcilable differences. She listed their date of separation as April 26, 2024, meaning they were no longer a couple even before the breakup rumors began circulating in May.

Four months ago, it was revealed that Affleck and Lopez were living apart as he moved out of their marital mansion and into a rental home. The pair were barely seen together this summer, missing out on celebrating important moments like Lopez’s 55th birthday and their second wedding anniversary of their Sin City wedding in July.

The “Hustlers” actress is said to be “heartbroken” and “humiliated” over the split, especially since she believed she had finally found her happy ending after several failed marriages. Lopez had spoken out after their 2004 breakup, claiming she felt like she “was going to die” after calling off their 2003 nuptials.

While she sang “Love Don’t Cost a Thing,” that might not be accurate.

Lopez did not signify if they had a prenuptial agreement when she filed her divorce documents; however, sources told TMZ that the exes did not sign one before walking down the aisle.

If true, everything Lopez and Affleck made from their short-lived marriage could be deemed community property — and they’ve been busy since becoming newlyweds .

They even have a project together, a movie, “Unstoppable,” that will premiere at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival next month. Lopez stars in the film, produced by Affleck and Matt Damon’s Artists Equity company.

Sources shared with People that while Affleck will not attend the premiere, his best buddy and his ex-wife will present for the red carpet event.
