Yachtmakler Bremen GmbH is a young and innovative enterprise founded by Thomas Thiel in 2013.

Thomas Thiel was born on April 7th 1977 in Rostock, Germany, as the youngest son of a maritime family. His father brought him to the Baltic Sea and harbors� since he was a child that�s how his affinity and close contact to water sports came from.

After Thomas left school he started his educational training at the Deutschen Bahn AG and finished it successfully. So he was taken over to his first job at the Deutsche Bahn AG directly.

After few years he withdraw back to his basics and he started his career as sales manager for boats at the Marina Oberweser. Here he learned a lot about sales and also got a big knowledge about motor boats, sailing boats and also engines and all necessary equipment.

With his growing knowledge as sales manager his objectives changed and in 2013 he finally got self-employed and founded his own company YACHTMAKLER Bremen for new and second hand boats and with his own charter fleet in Bremer Europahafen in �berseestadt directly to the European Marina.

Then Thomas Thiel became partner of the wenn known shipyard Jeanneau and gained a lot of experience with the motor boat and sailing boat ranges of Jeanneau.

Also he took over the representation of the classy brands Christo Mare Motoryachts and Symphonie Sailingyachts for North Germany.

End of 2014 Thomas Thiel started the collaboration with the well respected shipyard Drettmann Yachts GmbH in Bremen.

This positive new partnership brought a lot of new experiences with new and second hand boats over 50 feet.

In 2021, the new company headquarters in Bremen Hemelingen, Arberger Hafendamm 3, 28309 Bremen, was then realized. In addition to a beautiful office, there is now also a hall area. As an authorized, official dealer for the brands JEANNEAU, Zodiac and Yamaha engines, YACHTMAKLER Bremen GmbH offers all services.

In 2021 the new own brand BOOTSTEPPICH24.DE by YACHTMAKLER Bremen GmbH was founded and is already successfully producing high quality boat carpets.

Thomas Thiel: �I really like my job as yacht broker and stand behind it for 100% and more. It is my absolute dream job. At my daily work I have the chance to meet a lot of interesting people and to work closely with my clients satisfies me!

For me my clients always stand at first stage. From the first meeting with the client until hand over of the new boat I always care for the clients requests. Also after closing the deal I am up to clients requests around his new boat offering qualified after sales service with business partners.

Yvonne Thiel was born 1988 in Achim near Bremen growing up in her loving family which is affine in watersports since two generations. With six years old she got her own little optimist sailing boat starting sailing on the river Weser. As teenager she switched to a 420 and laser sailing dinghy and later to the motor boat Christo Mare 31.

After graduating from school with a perfect certification Yvonne Thiel started her trainee at the Drettmann Yachts GmbH Bremen in 2006. After shortened trainee time she started her career as assistant of the CEO in sales and marketing and got special knowledge in yachting and superyachts and also received a lot of experience in international boat business.

After her marriage in August 2015 with Thomas Thiel and the birth of their son Tom in September 2015 they both decided that the idea working together should be realized soon.

In teamwork it is now the common goal to lead the company YACHTMAKLER Bremen GmbH and to represent the international known brands JEANNEAU, YAMAHA and Zodiac and to mediate second hand boat sales.

Yachtmakler Bremen ist ein innovatives, junges Unternehmen und wurde im Jahre 2013 vom Inhaber Thomas Thiel gegründet.

Thomas Thiel wurde am 07.04.1977 in Rostock, als jüngster Sohn einer Seefahrerfamilie geboren. Die enge Verbindung zum Wassersport wurde ihm bereits durch seinen Vater und die Nähe zur Ostsee in die Wiege gelegt.

Nach seinem Schulabschluss begann Thomas Thiel seine kaufmännische Ausbildung bei der Deutschen Bahn AG, welche er erfolgreich abschloss und sogleich von seinem Arbeitgeber in verantwortungsvolle Aufgaben eingeteilt wurde. Bereits kurz nach Abschluss seiner Ausbildung wurde er zum Gesamtjugend- und Auszubildenenvertreter der Deutschen Bahn AG und setzte seine Laufbahn bei der Deutschen Bahn AG später in Bremen fort.

Doch schon nach einigen Jahren zog es Thomas Thiel zurück zu seinen Wurzeln und er begann als Bootsverkäufer bei der Marina Oberweser. Dort lernte er nicht nur die Fähigkeiten des Verkaufs, sondern eignete sich auch das Wissen über Motorboote, Segelboote, Bootsmotoren und die technische Ausstattung der Schiffe an.

Bei der Marina Oberweser verkaufte er so über 100 Neu- und Gebrauchtboote, u. a. der Marke Quicksilver.

Im Laufe der Zeit änderten sich die Ziele von Thomas Thiel und er machte sich im Jahre 2013 endgültig selbstständig und gründete seine Firma, YACHTMAKLER Bremen mit eigener Bootsvermietung und kleiner Flotte in der Bremer Überseestadt.

Thomas Thiel wurde Partner von der Werft Jeanneau und sammelte dort großartige Erfahrungen mit den Motor- und Segelyachten von der Marke Jeanneau.

Auch übernahm er die Vertretungen der Hersteller Christo Mare Motoryachten und Symphonie Segelyachten und ist Ihr Ansprechpartner in Norddeutschland für diese edlen Bootsmarken.

Ende 2014 begann er die Zusammenarbeit mit dem renommierten Unternehmen Drettmann Yachts GmbH in Bremen. Diese positive Zusammenarbeit brachte neue Erfahrungen auch im Bereich von Neu- und Gebrauchtbooten ab 50 Fuß.

Im Jahre 2021 wurde dann der neue Firmensitz in Bremen Hemelingen, Arberger Hafendamm 3, 28309 Bremen, verwirklicht. Neben einem schönen Büro ist nun auch eine Hallenfläche vorhanden. Als autorisierter, offizieller Fachhändler für die Marken JEANNEAU, Zodiac und Yamaha Motoren bietet die YACHTMAKLER Bremen GmbH alle Services an.

Auch wurde 2021 die neue Marke BOOTSTEPPICH24.DE by YACHTMAKLER Bremen GmbH gegründet und ist bereits erfolgreich mit hochwertigen Bootsteppichen am Markt aufgestellt.

Bei meiner täglichen Arbeit treffe ich viele sehr interessante Menschen und die Zusammenarbeit mit Kunden in meinem Metier Wassersport erfüllt mich. Für mich steht der Kunde immer an erster Stelle.
