Our beautiful Airstream has been touring the country and is ready to go for summer camping, full-time RVing, or for use as an off-grid tiny home/Airbnb. It has been lovingly restored with an eye towards preserving as many vintage elements as possible, however all core systems have been upgraded, checked, and modernized for safety and efficiency.

1969 was a terrific year for Airstreams and this International Land Yacht features original hardwood veneer cabinetry (American walnut) and streamlined mid-century modern design throughout. It is lightweight, easy to tow, and has been our full-time home and design studio for the past two years. If you’re looking for off-grid capacity this trailer is outfitted for you! During our time on the road we used the power from our solar panels and propane system almost exclusively, although the trailer is fully equipped to plug in for nights at the RV park.

This beautiful 1969 Safari Land Yacht was lovingly preserved and maintained by the original owners in the dry climate of New Mexico from 1969-2019.

We bought  ‘Woody’ from this wonderful family in 2019 and have continued to preserve as much of the original layout as possible, whilst upgrading where necessary for modern lifestyles.

We have the original showroom brochure and purchase receipt for this trailer along all of the all of the old and new documents.

We named this camper ‘Woody’ due to his date of ‘birth’ being the same year as Woodstock.

Thorough preventative maintenance inspection was done in 2018.

The front dining area has been remodeled using the original wood bases and cabinetry. Brand new seating/bedding with charcoal gray bespoke removable covers and heavy duty, firm, upholstery foam.

We added a handmade birch wood table with a steel wrapped dining table on an air powered 3 stage telescopic base that allows you to turn the front bench seats into a large King sized bed. Can also be set up as a queen sized bed, if desired. Easily sleeps 2 adults and 2 children (or pets!). Great for taller people  or those that like a bigger bed. When set up as dining area this space can sit 4-6 people.

Dinette area has 2 person seating with all new bespoke upholstery, birch wood table and this can also be converted to another sleeping area if needed.

The Zip Dee blue awning is in perfect condition new installed in 2018 only been used a few times.

Professional outer polishing and resealing of all windows and seams 2020.

Coleman Air conditioning unit is in perfect working condition and can get extremely cold when needed.

Furnace for heat works perfectly, and gas hot water heater delivers hot water within a very short time.

There is tons of storage, under and over seats and kitchen area, 2 large cabinets in the back and more storage in the bathroom.

More original feature include the 8 track player which still works (comes with 1960s 8 track cassettes) original light fittings, cabinet pulls, ventilation hatches, fans, thermostat. The stove is original, in amazing condition and cooks perfectly. Original roller blind in the bathroom. Original speaker covers with updated internal speakers. All lights work (interior and exterior)

The Norcold large fridge with freezer compartment and custom wood grain door panel was replaced in 2018.

Comes with heavy duty sway bars and ball hitch for easy towing.

New tinted rock guard.

The only dings visible are 3 small ones in the top rear corner (see photos)

This is a 53 year old camper and so has some imperfections and lots of history. We did our best to take plenty of photos to show the condition. If you would like photos of something specific or a video please let us know and we will gladly accommodate. I also have the original story and photos from the first owners.
