We just had our annual school auction fundraiser at the Corinthian Yacht Club, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Alicia Slater and her staff were available, responsive and patient throughout the planning process, and the service was flawless that night. We had 240 people for cocktails, silent auction, live auction, a sit-down plated dinner, gambling and dancing, and Alicia and her staff worked with us on our timing and understood it perfectly. Our guests loved the setting and views, and it helped that it was an amazingly clear and warm evening. The Corinthian staff are definitely pros at this, and we'll be having more events with them in the future!

A small Dinghy will do! Stuffy "Yachties" need not apply... Wow, what a great club! I have been a member of the Corinthian for about three years now and have enjoyed every moment of my membership. The Corinthian is lively and Fun! There are so many activities that take place. The club has so many great social events. Whether taking sailing lessons, or attending the mid winter regattas the club has never let me down! The rear deck has breathtaking views of the city and is a great place to "unwind' with a glass of chilled wine. The best part of the Corinthian is that I don't need to own a luxury liner to enjoy my beautiful club on the waters edge. The most surprising aspect of this gorgeous club is that the monthly dues are about the same as an expensive fitness club in the city. Where else can you enjoy a beautiful piece of oceanfront property for such an incredible price? Unlike most yacht clubs the Corinthian does not discriminate in their acceptance of new members. If you do not own a boat you can join as a "social member" and enjoy the company of interesting people from all over the world. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed without the pretense of "old money." If you are looking for a fun social scene The Corinthian Club is the place.

Corinthian Yacht Club was the reception site for our wedding in May 2013. The breathtaking view and historic charm of CYC drew us into choosing the site for our reception. But it is the amazing staff that earns the 5 stars for giving us our dream reception! Amanda, John, and Clark worked endlessly with us and our parents, incorporating our ideas and giving helpful guidance/suggestions where needed. Prior to booking CYC, I debated if I needed to hire a wedding planner. After meeting with Amanda, I was confident that she would a terrific on-site coordinator as her attention to detail and warm personality made her easy to collaborate with. Leading up to the wedding, we had several meetings on-site with CYC and too many phone calls/emails to count! From the food tasting to the walkthrough, CYC's staff always guided us through each decision we made and was quick to answer any questions we had. They were particularly helpful with answering questions to both my parents and my husband's parents, as both sets were involved in the planning process. I was particularly impressed with how respectful and contentious they were to keep within our wedding budget, always informing of us of all the options we had before moving forward with a decision. For the wedding day itself, our reception was AMAZING. As a bride, I spent hours pouring my heart into the decorations and details for the reception. Walking into the room and seeing it all perfectly come to life is something I will always remember! The food, my goodness, the food! The steak and salmon entrees we chose, as well as the variety of appetizers, tasted like meals from a 5 star restaurant. Compliments to their chef Joe, who is a newer addition and really livened up the menu! We had many out-of-state guests who could not stop raving about the how beautiful CYC was, how delicious the food was, and what a perfect evening we had. There are a lot of high expectations leading up to a wedding, and CYC lived up to all of ours and more to make our dream reception come true! The CYC staff genuinely cared about giving us our perfect reception and it certainly showed through on our big day. If you are considering a wedding in Tiburon, this place is a MUST.

We had a party here recently as a "celebration of life" for my mother. It was incredible. We did drinks and apps for an hour before and after the speeches. Everything was perfect. The service was seamless and the snacks (which the club kindly helped to recommend) were a hit. The bar was able to keep up with the 250+ guests we had so everyone was happy. Everyone was so impressed with the event and the venue. There really is no better setting for any special occasion. The views are amazing. AMAZING. And the ballroom, bar, sunroom, patio combo make the space very user friendly. The staff helped with every detail of planning including menus, room layout (they nailed it!) as well as all the little things like AV set-up and linen colors. They helped work and re-work the plan so that it fit our budget (and they do a good job or predicting and pre-disclosing costs). Thanks John, Clark, and Amanda! I certainly don't wish to lose another loved one, but I would love another excuse to have a party here. Birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, you name it. I'll be hosting them all at the CYC!

We had our wedding reception at the Corinthian Yacht Club in May, and everything was amazing...from Leila's attention to detail to the food and set up. They made the process VERY relaxed, which we greatly appreciated. The view is unbeatable, and the food (especially the crab cakes made to order!) is amazing -- definitely not your typical "wedding food" experience. We were so happy with everything they did for us. They're just top-notch all the way around. We're sad to not have an "excuse" to go back anymore! If you're looking for a fabulous wedding reception venue with spectacular views of SF, look no further.

We hosted a reception here for 150 people, and the food and drink was excellent--they were even able to accommodate the needs of our few Vegan guests. As well, they were completely easy about our camouflaging some of the masculine decor with tulle and flowers. Again, across the board--the appetizers and main course(s) were excellent, and they were heavy on waitstaff, so much so that a few people's dinners were swept away a little too soon. It is not an easy feat to supply consistently delicious food to a large group--we had a party at the top hotel in SF, and the food was nowhere as consistent or tasty. Oh, yes, the view is quite lovely, and the outdoor balcony very nice.

It is unfortunate that Yelp limits reviewers to only 5 stars because the Corinthian Club deserves more than that. We had our daughter's wedding reception there in May and everything about CYC exceeded our expectations. A beautifully maintained historic club with a panoramic view of the San Francisco skyline, a gorgeous ballroom, an inviting bar & solarium all added to a magical evening... and to top it off, perfect weather, gorgeous sunset and a full moon. But that is just the building and the real stars here are the management and staff. We had several meetings with their long time event coordinator and were concerned when she unexpectedly passed away 3 months before the event. Changing personnel midstream could have been difficult, but, John, catering manager, and Amanda, catering assistant assured us that we need not worry and they were right. They were extremely responsive to all of our questions and concerns, handled last minute changes without question, and went out of their way to make sure that this wedding reception was exactly the way we envisioned. The room was set exactly as intended down to the vintage books selected by the bride for each centerpiece being placed at the correct tables. The place settings were arranged in almost military precision and candles lit at the right moment. They helped us develop a time line that worked well through the evening. And then there was the food....they are known for their crab cakes and they were scrumptious. We had chosen salmon and filet as the two main course options and they rivaled meals you would expect in a first class restaurant. They are well equipped to do large events and spent several hours with us sampling items until we came up with the final menu. (The tasting is one of the wedding planning events not to miss - love the chef!) Their trained staff were efficient and friendly in serving the crowd. We had a few vegan guests and they were all served exactly as requested. (Amanda even found a source in SF and had a vegan cake delivered so everyone had a delicious dessert.) The happiest guest though might have been the little guy who whispered to his mom that he didn't like red sauce on his kid's meal (yes, they did a special entree for our junior guests). It was whisked away without question and replaced by buttered pasta in minutes. The server told the mom that she had kids about the same age and understood. I felt that John, Amanda and the crew truly cared as much about this event as if it were there own....a rarity in today's world. If you want a beautiful wedding reception that your guests remember as the best they have been to, then CYC is the place.

This place does it right. We were looking for a venue that allowed us to showcase our classic style. From the moment we contacted them to the final transaction. Pure class, and customer service were shown. We loved every step of the way. Our special day went off without a hitch. I was never asked a question. The selection chosen for alcohol was raved about for months after the wedding. This was the first reception our guests attended where they "enjoyed the food". If you are looking for a place to hold your reception look no further you have found it.

Feel the Corinthian leather oooohhhh; great views, nice to tie up here, get a simple burger, and coke, then back to St. Francis Yacht Club for Tom Collins. Just one of those great locations and Yacht Clubs for Northern California.

Wonderful club. Terrific members and views. What an amazing new chef.

Great Yacht Club in Manatee Pocket, very welcoming, There was a dinner the night after we arrived, went to bar and had a few drinks and met the Commodore (Barbara) and several others, Carl specifically helped us get fuel delivered. A little tricky to get into but great facilities. We rented a car and drove to the local battery store and West Marine, etc. Would recommend.

Delighted with the open arms welcome of the members of this yacht club. We were shown the spotless showers right away. After our showers, club members started to drop by and chat. The clubhouse was closed because of a party that was to take place that night, yet one of the members invited us in to use the kitchen to cook our food and get out of the rain. He said that's what boaters do, it is part of our culture, we take care of each other. Truly, a home away from home. You will be blessed if you have a chance to spend a night or two at this facility.

Technical information

The three grape varieties are soft-pressed and fermented separately at a controlled temperature of 14°-16°C. The wine matures on the lees from the first fermentation in stainless steel tanks for a number of months. Liqueur di tirage is added to the cuvée and the wine is then bottled and sealed with crown caps before being placed in the cellar at 10-12°C for secondary fermentation. The wine rests on its lees for an average of 24 months and is then disgorged and released for sale.

Tasting notes

Bright straw yellow in colour with long-lasting, extremely fine bubbles. Scents of fruit with a well-balanced hint of yeast. Fresh and dry on the palate with excellent persistence of flavour, delicious aftertaste of dried fruit.

Lo Spumante Metodo Classico Brut Rosé “Athesis” di Kettmeir è un Millesimato raffinato ed elegante, frutto di una cuvée di Chardonnay e Pinot Nero coltivati sui soleggiati rilievi a nord del Lago di Caldaro. Perfetta espressione del territorio altoatesino, è un Metodo Classico che esprime grande finezza e la tipica freschezza minerale dei vini di montagna. È uno spumante che conquista da subito per i suoi delicati profumi floreali e per le armoniose note fruttate, caratterizzate da lievi sfumature speziate. Ideale come aperitivo, si abbina molto bene con gamberi, scampi e guazzetti di crostacei.

Il Brut Rosé “Athesis” è un Metodo Classico prodotto da una storica realtà altoatesina della zona del Lago di Caldaro.  La cantina Kettmeir è stata fondata nel 1919 e gestisce circa 55 ettari di cui buona parte di una sessantina di piccoli conferitori, che lavorano la vigna con passione e attenzione quotidiana. I vigneti sono suddivisi in molte parcelle che si trovano principalmente sui primi rilievi montuosi sopra Salorno, nella zona del Lago di Caldaro e nella zona di Soprabolzano. L’altitudine e le notevoli escursioni termiche, permettono di ottenere uve dagli aromi intensi e di grande freschezza, perfette per la spumantizzazione con il Metodo Classico. Gli spumanti Kettmeier si distinguono per una precisa identità territoriale espressa da finezza, eleganza e vibrante tensione.

“Athesis” Metodo Classico Brut Rosé della cantina altoatesina Kettmeir è uno spumante Millesimato che nasce da un assemblaggio di uve Chardonnay e Pinot Nero provenienti da vigne coltivate a un’altitudine compresa tra i 450 e i 700 metri, su terreni rocciosi di matrice prevalentemente calcarea. Al termine della vendemmia, si procede a una breve macerazione a freddo e alla successiva pressatura soffice delle uve. La fermentazione si svolge in serbatoi d’acciaio e la seconda fermentazione avviene in bottiglia secondo il Metodo Classico, con un affinamento sui lieviti di almeno 24 mesi.  Nel calice si presenta di colore rosa con brillanti riflessi ramati. Il bouquet regala raffinati profumi floreali, di erbe di montagna, aromi di piccoli frutti a bacca rossa, cenni di crosta di pane e leggere sfumature speziate. Il sorso è leggero ed elegante, con un frutto delicato e fragrante , un finale armonioso e di grande freschezza.

Athesis Metodo Classico Brut Rosé di Kettmeir è uno spumante Millesimato prodotto in Alto Adige con uve Chardonnay e Pinot Nero cresciute tra i 450 e i 700 metri su terreni calcarei. Dopo la vendemmia, le uve subiscono una macerazione a freddo seguita da una pressatura soffice. Alto Adige Spumante Brut Rosé Athesis 2020

Sparkling wine with a full and round taste, firm structure and designed for food..

It is a very refined vintage rosé sparkling wine. To make it, Kettmeier selects Chardonnay grapes from the most suitable locations in South Tyrol. Pinot Noir is vinified with a short maceration that gives not only the color but also a certain solidity to the taste. A long aging on the lees creates a truly attractive taste harmony and wonderfully matches the food.

Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are harvested and vinified separately. The first after a soft pressing ferments in steel at a controlled temperature. The Pinot Noir grapes, on the other hand, are pressed and left to macerate for a while before being pressed and only the free-run must continues fermentation in steel. The blend is then composed with the addition of yeasts and sugars for the second fermentation in the bottle according to the traditional method. The sparkling wine ages on the lees in the bottle for 24 months.

TASTE: On the palate it unfolds elegant and dynamic, with the graceful freshness and delicate creaminess making the aromas of small berries and aromatic herbs persistent.

Intriguing as an aperitif, it goes well with fish appetizers, especially if pink in color, such as salmon, prawns and scampi, offering its best even on a whole meal with elaborate seafood dishes. Interesting on oriental cuisine and in general on spicy dishes.

Rosé vinification of Pinot Noir grapes, with brief maceration on the skins and subsequent soft pressing, the latter also reserved for Chardonnay grapes from vineyards with a high sparkling wine vocation. Fermentation is carried out separately for the two varieties at a controlled temperature of around 15-16°C. In the year following the harvest, after the formation of the cuvée and the addition of the liqueur de tirage, the second fermentation takes place in the bottle at the cellar temperature of 11-12°C with the wine remaining in contact with the yeasts for an average of 24 months, before being disgorged and subsequently put on the market.

Owner's logbook: a dramatic rescue at sea, and the joy of launching a new rendezvous in Greece

Every month, superyacht owners reveal where they are in the world and share their future plans. This month, BOAT speaks to the owner of Feadship 's W about saving the life of a man who had been stranded at sea for five days, while the owner of Almyra II celebrates preserving the friendly Corinthian spirit through the newly launched Cyclades Cup.

How did you come to buy W ? We purchased her in 2019 when she was lying in Antibes and we then enjoyed an amazing family trip in the Balearics. To maintain her Feadship pedigree, I then sent her to the yard for a 10-month, €10 million refit. Even though she was only six years old, we needed to upgrade virtually all systems to 2020 standards. 

We also changed the cabin arrangement: there was one full-beam suite on the lower deck and two further guest cabins, so we split the full-beam cabin into two cabins, which is much more guest and family friendly. We squeezed in another cabin on the bridge deck, so we took her from a four-cabin to a six-cabin boat.

That’s a lot of work! We continued the refit by changing every system on board – A/V, LED lighting, engines, black water treatment, watermakers, boilers – to the most environmentally friendly available. We opened up the main saloon by removing a conference table and turning it into a beautiful, open family-friendly area for entertaining or greeting guests in style or for an epic movie night. 

We just went through the whole yacht, including painting her hull a matching Mercedes Alubeam Silver and turned her into a very civilised, but capable, family-friendly yacht. Then in 2023, we added Quantum XT stabilisers, upgrading from regular fins, which make the yacht feel as if it’s bolted to the ocean floor. W is for sale now , asking €49.95 million with Edmiston , and for that the next owner basically gets an almost-new 2020 Feadship without waiting five years for a new one.

Can you tell us about the rescue you were involved in last year ? We found a 28-year-old Moroccan man in the middle of the Mediterranean. He’d been in the water for five days and couldn’t even stand when we got him on board. The Spanish coastguard evacuated him from the top deck via helicopter, and we received a certificate from the Spanish coastguard saying we had saved this man’s life. He was trying to cross to Europe from North Africa with only a child’s inner tube for flotation. If we hadn’t found him, he would not have survived.

Which yachts have you owned previously?   I had a 23-metre Ferretti , then a 26-metre Pacific Mariner , then two 40-metre Westports before I purchased W . After the extensive refit, she crossed the Atlantic for the first time and when you do that you start to think about all the possibilities when you own a Feadship with true trans-oceanic capabilities.

Where’s your favourite place to take W ? I love the Bahamas. It’s the best water in the world –  you can see right to the bottom. It’s a fabulous place to escape for a week or two. The last time we were out there for 10 days and it’s such a big cruising area you can always find something new to see and do. 

Whenever we’re there we take the guests and crew and we clean the beaches. Last time we found a floating fridge door and filled bags with plastic debris. Discarded fishing nets are a menace and we’re constantly finding them just beneath the surface or tangled in rocks. We’ve all got to do our bit to keep the ocean we love clean and healthy.

Congratulations on the inaugural Cyclades Cup ! Thank you. We were working on it day and night from February with the Yacht Club of Greece, and we were so happy with the result. In the end we had 11 boats racing with a few more taking part socially, which we didn’t expect at all for the first edition. 

Our aim with this event was to make it more of a rendezvous – we didn’t want super-competitive racing. Everyone still wanted to win, of course, but they came primarily for the fun. We had lots of friends from Greece taking part but also some international visitors, which was fantastic. We’ve set the dates for next year: 12 to 15 June.

What was the inspiration for launching the event? There was nothing like it in Greece and yet we have all the right ingredients: the Aegean Sea, the sun, the people, the passion and, most importantly, we have the superyachts and the meltemi.

How big do you want it to get? We envision the Cyclades Cup to be just the right size, avoiding commercialism and large crowds, preserving the friendly Corinthian spirit while honouring the intimate and unique atmosphere of small islands like Antiparos that we aim to protect and cherish without altering their essence. 

We aspire to become the rendezvous that no one can resist attending, where the summer kicks off in style with an exhilarating regatta and a grand opening summer party, setting the stage for unforgettable moments and exciting adventures ahead.

What are your cruising plans this summer? Right now we’re at a little island called Schoinousa, which is a hidden gem. It feels a little like a private island – there’s a small port with some very big boats! There’s just a single taverna at the port and some tiny shops. We love it. We’ll head back to Antiparos tomorrow and plan to spend the whole month on board, cruising around the Cyclades.

There’s lots of talk about Greece at the moment. Do you feel it’s getting more popular? A superyacht owner would relish cruising in the Greek waters for the crystal-clear azure seas, free of sharks and jellyfish, surrounded by unparalleled hospitality, a warm and inviting atmosphere and a sense of familiarity that welcomes them like an old friend.

In the Greek waters, an owner can discover not only vibrant party islands but also small, secluded islands that exude a nostalgic 1970s vibe, offering a unique blend of modern luxury and retro charm in an enchanting setting.

Newport Harbor Yacht Club Dominates: Sweeps Morgan Cup for Dual Crown Triumph

In the world of keelboat team racing, Newport Harbor Yacht Club (NHYC) has firmly established itself as the team to beat. While there’s no official AP ranking for the sport, the crew from Newport Beach, California, has left little doubt about who’s on top. Fresh off a victory at the Baldwin Cup in April, the NHYC squad added another feather to its cap earlier today by capturing the Morgan Cup at the New York Yacht Club Harbour Court. With these back-to-back wins, NHYC now holds two of the most prestigious team-racing trophies simultaneously.

“This is super exciting,” said NHYC team captain Jake La Dow, the leader of a crew that’s been on a mission. “We finished second last year with the same core group, and our goal this year was to come back and win. Crossing that last race in a 1-2-3 combination and knowing we had the event sealed was a thrilling moment for us.”

The drama didn’t stop there. The battle for second place came down to a tie-breaker, with New York Yacht Club edging out Corinthian Yacht Club of Marblehead, Massachusetts, thanks to a superior head-to-head record. Great Britain’s Royal Thames Yacht Club took fourth, while Larchmont Yacht Club from New York rounded out the top five.

The New York Yacht Club has been a key player in elevating adult team racing, starting with the creation of the New York Yacht Club Invitational Team Race Regatta for the Commodore George R. Hinman Masters Trophy in 2000. Over the years, the event lineup expanded, including the all-ages Morgan Cup in 2003 and the Grandmasters Team Race Regatta in 2010, which requires skippers to be at least 60 years old. These prestigious events, held over consecutive weekends in August at the Harbour Court, attract top-tier team racers from both the United States and Europe, all competing in the Club’s fleet of 22 Sonar keelboats.

This year’s Morgan Cup saw conditions that ran the gamut, from gusts into the mid-20s on Friday to a calm morning today that delayed racing as teams waited for the breeze to pick up. Throughout it all, consistency proved to be the key to NHYC’s triumph.

“As a team, we started very consistently all event,” La Dow reflected. “We had maybe one or two races where we were at a disadvantage off the line, but our focus on disciplined team racing and simply sailing the boats well kept us in the game.”

La Dow was quick to praise his 12-person squad, especially their performance in the challenging breezy conditions that kicked off the regatta.

“The skippers often get the spotlight,” he acknowledged. “But really, it’s a team effort. The crew’s role, especially in those demanding conditions, is crucial. Whether it’s nailing the pole on the jibe or flying the spinnaker just right, every piece has to work together. If one element is off, the whole mission can fail.”

Success at this level doesn’t happen without serious preparation, and La Dow credits Newport Harbor Yacht Club’s commitment to their team.

“It starts with our club,” he said. “We’ve got tremendous support, and we’re out practicing weekly and competing in weekend regattas throughout the year. It’s truly a big club effort.”

With the Morgan Cup now in their possession, NHYC will have a short break before the team-racing action continues at Harbour Court with the Hinman Masters next weekend, followed by the Grandmasters the weekend after. If this weekend’s performance is any indication, NHYC’s rivals will need to bring their A-game.

The second of three Ritz-Carlton cruise ships, Ilma offers an intimate at-sea experience serving up ... [+] luxury hospitality in large suites with floor-to-ceiling windows, five restaurants, seven bars, and 11 spa treatment rooms on the inaugural itinerary this September.

With the highest ratio of space per guest in the cruising industry, Ritz-Carlton recently announced itineraries for its second luxury yacht, Ilma , beginning this September. The yacht measures 790 feet and accommodates 448 guests. Compared to the average cruise ship length of 1,000 feet accommodating between 2,000 and 3,000 guests, the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection ships are designed to be intimate, with luxurious appointments that boast the brand's indulgent hospitality. The ratio of staff to guests of nearly 1:1 ensures the expected level of service while on board.

Ilma , translating to "water" in Maltese, features 224 suites with private terraces. Two luxurious upper suites measure over 1,000 square feet in size. With a bevy of five restaurants and seven bars, a wine vault, and expanded marina, Ilma will take guests to posh ports in the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, and the Caribbean.

Ritz-Carlton announced their luxury voyages as the first to be presented by a land-based hotel group. Ilma 's initial voyage will be a seven night itinerary from Monaco to Rome, embarking on September 2, 2024. From Monaco, the ship will sail to Saint-Tropez with additional stops in Cannes, Livorno, Bastia on the Island of Corsica, Porto Cervo on Sardinia, and then on to Rome.

Shore excursion options include a Port Grimaud Tour and Saint-Tropez seafood fest, Wine tasting at Domaine du Bourrian, a Cote dÁzure car rally, a Porto Cervo garden to pan experience, and a private sailing boat trip to La Maddalena Archipelago.

Additional itineraries include 10 nights from Rome to Athens on September 9, 12 nights from Athens to Rome on September 26, 7 nights from Rome to Barcelona on October 15, and 10 nights Barcelona to Lisbon on October 22, with fares ranging from $8,900 USD to $13,900 per person, double occupancy.

Included are unlimited restaurant and in-suite dining, unlimited drinks, wifi, complimentary bottle of Champagne upon arrival, king bed, robes and slippers, watersports, entertainment, mini bar, and on board gratuities.

Caribbean itineraries on board Ilma follow into the winter season. Guests can board for 6 nights on November 14 for a tour of the islands from San Juan, Puerto Rico, to Soufriere, St. Lucia, Terre-de-Haut, Guadeloupe, St. John's, and Virgin Gorda, with return back to San Juan.

Other options include a San Juan to Fort Lauderdale trip for 7 nights departing November 20, San Juan to Bridgetown, Barbados departiing January 18, and a number of additional departures in and around the Caribbean before returning to Lisbon from Fort Lauderdale on a 13 night April 14 itinerary. Enviable Amenities

Ilma is nicely outfitted with an extensive list of amenities, including the Marina and Marina Terrace to stern, with indoor and outdoor dining alongside direct sea access for watersports. A spa with sauna, steam room, quiet zones, and 11 treatment rooms are adjacent to The Barber and The Salon.

Atop Deck 10, Ilma 's large pool with tanning ledges and wide sundecks serve drinks from the pool bar, or celebrate departures during sail-away parties. Films are presented alfresco beneath the stars.

An infinity pool and Latin-inspired Beach House restaurant a few decks down offer a comfy, shaded option. An observation lounge, a humidor with hand rolled Davidoff cigars and Macallan single malt, a boutique, and a lovely meeting hub called The Living Room serve guests with shopping and socializing. There is even a Ritz Kids educational program with enhanced service during holidays and summers.

Three Sisters of the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection

The first yacht to launch for Ritz-Carlton was Evrima, Greek for "discovery." Evrima made her maiden journey in October of 2022. A bit smaller than the Ilma , Evrima measures 624 feet with 149 suites in a variety of categories, also with elegant terraces, and carries up to 298 guests. The Luminara , Latin for "light," is expected to debut in 2025 with a Mediterranean itinerary. A bit larger, Luminara measures 794 feet, offering 226 suites servicing 452 guests with an expanded marina and Ritz-Carlton spa.

Additional Luxury Hospitality Brands Enter The Market

Four Seasons will launch its first yacht, Four Seasons I , in 2026. The yacht measures 679 feet with 95 suites, and a 1:1 staff to guest ratio, with 11 restaurants and lounges, overwater pool deck, and transverse marina. The build is in the hands of Ancona shipyard Fincantieri, with a design inspired by grand cruising steamships of the golden age.

Scheduled for a 2027 launch, Aman Resorts in a joint venture with Cruise Saudi will christen its first Aman at Sea yacht measuring 600 feet. Housing 50 luxury suites designed by Sinot Yacht Architecture and Design and built by Genoa's T. Mariotti Shipyard, the yacht touts "privacy, peace, and unparalleled service." The Aman yacht boasts a 2:1 staff to passenger ratio is expected to include a Japanese garden, a helipad, funnel and loft suites with expansive windows, and dual diesel and methanol propulsion.

Orient Express will bring SilenSeas to the luxury market in 2026. Built by Chantiers de l'Atlantique, and also inspired by the golden age of ship travel, the OE Corinthian will be the first yacht for the brand. The yacht will employ innovative SolidSail technology that mounts three solid sails on a rig above the main decks that rotate 360° and tilt to a 70° angle, assisting engine propulsion and reduce fuel use, making it the largest ever wind-powered sailing vessel.
