Our championship golf course is a challenging design of 6,922 yards. It winds through an atmosphere of graceful palm trees, oak hammocks and tropical flowering foliage. The Piper’s Landing course is impeccably maintained and offers six different tee boxes that never lose their allure. As a Resident Member Only Club, you can be assured of a tee time that works for you. In reality, Piper’s has been designed to feel like a course made just for you!

COURSE HISTORY

Established in the early-80’s and originally designed by “Gentleman Joe Lee”, our course was most recently redesigned by Gene Bates.

Keeping in mind the natural marsh and wildlife preserves, both of these architects carved a truly unique 18-hole experience. The course offers a variety of challenges against a backdrop of flowing lakes and undulating fairways.

Set sail from the waters of our naturally protected yacht basin. Boating at Piper’s Landing is in a class all by itself. The private marina, located just off the South Fork of the St. Lucie River, is protected by mangroves and other natural plant life. It is the perfect hurricane hole. Cruising is unlimited. You can go North, South, East or West using the St. Lucie River, Indian River and of course, the Atlantic Ocean. The beautiful Bahama Bank is only 58 nautical miles from our docks.

Top-Level Golf & Tennis

The private club at Piper’s Landing is a unique member-owned amenity with refundable equity tied to the home and not to a membership.

The golf course was designed in 1982 by Joe Lee and remodeled in 2007 by Gene Bates. It is a challenging design of 6,922 yards, offering plenty of hole variety and visual character.

Residents and guests particularly like that the golf course is wide-open with no homes sitting on top of it. There are five tee boxes with eight levels of play that are ideally suited for the beginner to the hard-core golfer. The greens are the biggest challenge to any player.

Piper’s has three Golf Professionals to help you with your game. Numerous reciprocal private clubs in the area inject added variety to your playing options.

An equity member-owned club.

Piper’s Landing is an equity member-owned club. Its equity requirement has two components: a non-refundable Capital Fee and a fully refundable Membership Equity Contribution.

The membership fee is completely refundable equity when a member sells his/her home. Several years ago the property owners association (POA) and the country club combined into one entity, providing on-going savings to members in sales and property taxes. Community policy includes mandatory golf membership.

All 302 property owners are a full golf member and each pays the same amount for refundable equity, non-refundable Capital Contribution and annual club fees. This structure creates a harmonious community with complete financial stability.
