Although every Sandals all-inclusive resort has tons of complimentary activities onsite, you’ll probably also want to explore what the area has to offer. That’s where Sandals excursions come in. They cost extra but are super easy to arrange through the resort.

You can book Sandals excursions online via the Sandals website after you’ve made your reservation, or once you get to the resort. If there’s something you really want to do, we recommend booking it in advance just to be safe.

The Caribbean island of Jamaica offers natural beauty, white sand beaches, clear and warm waters, and tons of activities, making it a very popular romantic and honeymoon destination.

Sandals Negril, located on Seven Mile Beach, is our favorite of the Sandals resorts in Jamaica . One thing that sets this location apart is the amazing sunsets you only see completely from this western part of the island.

There are a lot of things to do in Negril , so you’ll have a wide variety of excursions to choose from. Sandals Negril excursions are all managed by Island Routes, but you book and pay through Sandals.

Sandals Negril excursions include river rafting, shopping in Negril, ziplining, river tubing, hiking and waterfall tours, ATV tours, deep sea fishing, historic and cultural tours, catamaran cruises, biking and dune buggy tours, horseback riding on the beach, and more. There are also dolphin encounter experiences. While we do not feel good about dolphins in captivity, they are available.

We think the best Sandals Negril excursion is to Rick’s Cafe. It isn’t just a place to eat. There are cliffs here, and you can jump off the smaller ones or watch some real daredevils jumping off the bigger ones. The best way to get here is on one of the catamaran cruises that pick you up on the resort, but you can also take a taxi. Shopping excursions are also popular.

Voted one of the 10 best bars in the world by Caribbean Travel & Life Magazine , Rick’s Café overlooks the turquoise Caribbean and is more than just a bar. Experience cliff diving here, whether you try it yourself or watch others, then toast the glorious sunset.

Reggae Sunset Catamaran Cruise

For a romantic Sandals Negril excursion, board this catamaran cruise and enjoy reggae music, drinks, snacks, and snorkeling. Watch the sunset from the famous Rick’s Café, then relax on the magical sail back to the resort.

Treetop Zipline and River Tubing Experience

Adventurous couples will love this Sandals Negril excursion, which takes you into the rainforest to zipline hundreds of feet up above the trees. Then you’ll tube down the river as guides point out local wildlife and jungle animals.

Bamboo River Rafting & Swamp Safari

For a unique experience, relax on a bamboo raft as your captain guides you down the beautiful Martha Brae River in the rainforest. You’ll also get to see rare birds in Jamaica’s largest walk-through aviary, as well as exotic animals like peacocks, whistling ducks, and kinkajou.

Sandals Negril is located on the stunning Seven Mile Beach in Jamaica. Like all Sandals Resorts, it is all-inclusive, adults-only, and couples-only. Perfect for your honeymoon or romantic vacation!

There is a laid-back vibe at Sandals Negril. You can spend your days and nights doing whatever you want and nothing you don’t. However, I do recommend spending a little time barefoot on the beach. Or, enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner for two down by the water.

If you choose to honeymoon at Sandals Negril or perhaps have a second honeymoon, I recommend the Millionaire Honeymoon One Bedroom Butler Suite with a Private Pool Sanctuary. But, no, you don’t need to be a millionaire to reserve this suite for your vacation.

But you do need to be prepared to be pampered throughout your stay!

This room is located on the ground floor. The bedroom is separate from the living area. The spa-like bathroom has both a walk-in shower and a whirlpool tub. However, the outdoors will really make this suite feel like your home away from home.

You enter a lush garden with your private pool by walking out the patio doors. Add in the waterfall and privacy wall, and you will feel like you are in paradise.

Over at the Bayside Restaurant, you will find a menu filled with delicious dishes for every meal of the day. The best part is you can enjoy any of your meals while looking out over the water.

Cucina Romana

You will find all of the Italian cuisine over at Cucina Romana. Signature dishes pair well with fine wine. One of the popular signature dishes is spaghetti bolognese.

Sundowner serves authentic Caribbean dishes that will make your taste buds dance. First, grab a table on the veranda for views of the beach. Then dive into dishes that include conch salad and St. Vincent’s pelau.

Kimonos offers meals prepared right at your table. The chefs will juggle utensils, flip food into their pocket, and ensure every dish they serve tastes delicious. You may be so intrigued by the entertainment you forget to look out at the tropical gardens.

Beach Bistro

Grilled foods are served outside at the Beach Bistro. This is the best place to grab a burger or an appetizer like nachos.

There are so many activities going on at Sandals Negril . You will never have an excuse to be bored during your vacation.

There is a whole ocean waiting for you and the adventures you want to take. Take a scuba diving class. Then, head out for a bit of snorkeling. Or play it safe with kayaking, paddle boarding, or a ride in a glass bottom boat.

You can play beach volleyball, tennis, shuffleboard, or basketball on land. Inside, pool tables are always ready and waiting, as well as a dart board.

Live entertainment is plentiful at Sandals Negril . They also have themed nights. So be prepared for Island Night, Jamaica Day, Caribbean Night, the Lovers’ White Night, and Chocolate Buffet.

Bamboo Grove One-Bedroom Skypool Butler Suite w/ Roof Terrace

The Bamboo Grove One-Bedroom Skypool Butler suite is located on the fourth floor, with a spiral staircase leading up to a private SkyPool on a personal rooftop terrace to soak up the sun. Inside the suite, honeymooners can expect a spacious living room, separate dining room, king-size bed, and HD Smart TV. The luxurious bathroom includes his & her bath vanities, plush robes, and an amenity kit from the Red Lane Spa — Sandals’ very own on-site spa.

As with all other Butler-level accommodations at Sandals, Butler suites at the Sandals Negril Beach Resort include airport transfers, butler elite service, 24/7 room service, and a nightly turndown service, in addition to daily housekeeping.

Paradise Beachfront Walkout Club Level Room

Located on the first floor of the Paradise building, the Paradise Beachfront Walkout Club level suites feature walk-in showers, four-poster king-size beds, and a walkout patio. Guests can walk right out to the beach and enjoy the Club Level’s concierge service exclusive to Club Sandals.

Longshore Oceanview Luxury Walkout Room

The Longshore Oceanview Luxury Walkout Rooms are conveniently located on the ground floor of the Longshore building, just steps away from Negril’s famous 7-mile beach. The room features a king-size bed, smart TV, fully stocked refrigerator, complete with wines and local beer, along with a marble en-suite bathroom equipped with a rain shower. Crema Coffee + Ice Cream

Negril Beach’s best coffee and ice cream shop. Open from 7 am – 10 pm daily. Dress code is Resort Casual and reservations are not required.

Bayside Restaurant

A la carte French Brasserie experience with indoor and outdoor dining. Honeymooners who choose to dine outside can watch boats pass over candle light. Dress code here is Resort Casual and reservations are not required.

Sample traditional Caribbean eats while enjoying sweeping views of the sea on the island’s best veranda. Lunch and dinner are served daily. Dress code is Resort Casual and reservations are required.

Traditional Japanese hibachi restaurant. Enjoy exotic cuisine as chefs juggle cooking utensils and cook on a flat surface iron grill. Open for dinner daily from 5:30 – 9 pm. Dress code is Resort Casual and reservations are required.

Barefoot by the Sea

The only restaurant on the property where you can actually show up barefoot! With the sparkling Caribbean Sea just steps away, enjoy Caribbean cuisine for breakfast or dinner. Dress code is Resort Casual and reservations are not required.

Bella Napoli Pizzeria

Open daily from 11 am – 5:30 pm, this casual pizza joint offers it all. From jerk chicken and seafood toppings to even banana and dark chocolate for a savory dessert pizza, don’t miss this stop on your honeymoon. Dress code is Resort Casual and reservations are not required.

Activities at Sandals Negril

Sandals Negril Beach Resort offers honeymooners the chance to become PADI Scuba certified in some of the world’s best coral reefs. Additionally, guests can enjoy kayaking, waterskiing, snorkeling, paddleboarding, and more on the water.

The state-of-the-art fitness center is also included for all guests and features aerobic classes, aqua-fit classes, elliptical machines, stair climbers, and free weights.

All Sandals resorts also feature day & night entertainment options for guests to enjoy! For your honeymoon in Jamaica, the most important thing you’ll need to pack is a passport! Not only is Jamaica a Caribbean island, it is an independent country.

Also be sure to pack 3-4 dinner outfits that would fit the resort evening attire dress code at some of Sandals Negril Beach Resort restaurants. Additionally, pack essentials for several hours in the sun, including 2-3 swimsuits, a cover up, beach shorts, sunscreen, and a hat. For your excursions into the jungle, you’ll need a pair of sneakers and some athleisure clothing. Additionally, pack 5-6 t-shirts, 2 pairs of PJs, sandals, closed-toe or heeled shoes for the nicer restaurants, and finally, toiletries (although many of the Sandals bathrooms will provide the basics for honeymooners).

CANCELLATION POLICY

Flexible: full refund within a limited period.

For cancellations by Guests, cancellation charges depend on when Island Routes receives notice of the cancellation. Minimum cancellation charges are as follows:

Hotel Guests:

24 hours or less: No Refund

48 hours or less: 50% Cancellation Fee

96 hours or less: 25% Cancellation Fee

96+ hours: Full Refund

Shore Excursions:

96 hours or more: Full Refund

Less than 96 hours: No Refund

G r oup Reservations:

60 days prior to tour date: Full Refund

45 days prior to tour date: 50% Cancellation Fee

30 days prior to tour date: 75% Cancellation fee

Less than 30 days prior to tour date: No Refund

All cancellations of, or changes are subject to applicable restrictions. Island Routes Tours will apply any payments made toward the purchase price against any cancellation charges and will refund any balance remaining after the payment of any charges. In order to receive a refund, if applicable, client must request and receive a cancellation confirmation number. The cancellation charges outlined above are liquidated damages and not a penalty. Holiday periods may be subject to additional cancellation charges. NO REFUNDS OR ADJUSTMENTS WILL BE MADE FOR ANY PORTION OF TOUR OR ATTENDANT SERVICES NOT UTILIZED.

Refund Policy: No refunds or adjustments will be made for any portion of your tour not utilized.

Changes to Reservations: All requested changes to reservations are subject to Island Routes' sole discretion, and any changes must be approved in writing.

PREPAID TOUR & EXCURSION RESERVATIONS

By reserving your tour and excursion, you authorize Island Routes Caribbean Adventures to book reservations for the total reservation price. You agree that your credit card will be charged by Island Routes Caribbean Adventures for the total reservation price.

BANK & CREDIT CARD FEES

Some banks and credit cards impose fees for cross-border transactions. By reserving your tour and excursion on this website, you may see an additional cost/fee appearing on your credit card statement. This fee is solely determined by your Bank and/or Credit Card Company and Island Routes Caribbean Adventures takes no responsibility for these associated costs. If you have any questions about these types of fees applied to your reservation, please contact your bank directly.

Some tours are physically demanding and are not suitable for the infirm, individuals with heart condition, women who are pregnant or the physically challenged. Tour times and dates may vary based on volume or availability. To the exclusion of tours identified at www.islandroutes.com as being owned by Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours, there exists no relationship of master and servant or of agency between the Operators of tours and either Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours, or the hotel. Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours, and the hotel, do not operate the tours, and for these purposes, the Operators of tours are independent contractors. The Operators of tours are solely responsible for their acts and omissions and Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours, and the hotel, assume no responsibility for such acts and omissions, or for any injury, loss, damage, sickness or accidents sustained on any of the tours offered for sale , including but not limited to any that occur on and/or during the tour, as well as before and after as part of and/or during transport to/from the tour ‐ again, to the exclusion of tours identified as being owned by Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours. Without any exclusion, however, Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours, and the hotel, shall not assume any responsibility for injury, loss or damage to any person that voluntarily participates in cliff diving at any location, including but not limited to Dunn's River Falls or Rick's Café, and/or to any person who voluntarily stops as part of and/or during transport to/from a tour at an unintended destination, meaning one that is separate and apart from the scheduled tour and/or destination. Individuals proceeding in such manner assume any and all responsibility and risk, as this is not a recommended activity. Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours, and the hotel, in addition shall not assume any responsibility for the loss or damage to money, jewelry, clothing or other valuables that have not been tendered to Management for safe keeping. Please note, for your safety, Guest will not be allowed to participate in helicopter tours and/or transfers if they have undertaken any diving exercise within 24hrs prior to departure of said tour/transfer.

LIMITATION OF DAMAGES

Guest HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGES AND AGREES that Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours, and the hotel, their parent corporation, affiliates, subsidiaries, insurers, directors, officers, employees, successors, assigns, agents or representatives, SHALL NOT BE LIABLE to Guest for liabilities, claims, actions, damages, cost or expense in any circumstances, for: (A) ANY PERSONAL INJURIES OR PROPERTY DAMAGE ARISING OUT OF OR CAUSED BY ANY ACT OR OMISSION ON THE PART OF ANY Guest(s) and/or Operators of tours, excluding tours identified as being owned by Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours; (B) EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, MENTAL SUFFERING, OR PSYCHOLOGICAL INJURY OF ANY KIND; OR (C) ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES. This specifically includes but is not limited to liabilities, claims, actions, damages, cost or expense ARISING OUT OF OR CAUSED BY food or drink consumed at third party facilities belonging to third party Operators of tours.

SPECIAL REQUESTS

Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours cannot guarantee that it will satisfy special requests and we are not responsible if such requests are not met.

PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

Persons with Disabilities: Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours cannot guarantee that transfer vehicles or tour sites are wheelchair accessible. However, if informed, we will endeavor to make the necessary arrangements. This may however come at an additional cost.

VENUE AND CHOICE OF LAW

ALL CLAIMS WHATSOEVER AGAINST SUNISLAND ROUTES AND/OR ISLAND ROUTES TOURS, ITS AFFILIATES, PARENT COMPANY, SUBSIDIARIES, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR CONTRACTORS, ARISING FROM, IN CONNECTION WITH, OR INCIDENTAL TO THE CONTRACT, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY CLAIMS RELATING TO THE FORMATION, INTERPRETATION, CONSTRUCTION, WAIVER, MODIFICATION, PERFORMANCE, DISCHARGE, OR BREACH OF THE CONTRACT, OR THE EXISTENCE, EXTENT, OR BREACH OF ANY FIDUCIARY DUTY, OR ANY DUTY IN TORT OR PURSUANT TO ANY STATUTE, SHALL BE LITIGATED SOLELY AND EXCLUSIVELY IN THE COUNTRY IN WHICH THE EXCURSION AND/OR TOUR IS OPERATED, AND SHALL BE GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE COUNTRY IN WHICH THE EXCURSION AND/OR TOUR IS OPERATED WITHOUT REGARD TO THE CHOICE OF LAW PRINCIPLES THEREOF.

USE OF GUEST'S LIKENESS

The undersigned Guest(s) irrevocably consents to and authorizes the use and reproduction by Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes, or anyone authorized by Island Routes, of any and all photographic, video and other visual portrayal(s) of the undersigned Guest(s), their child or ward, for any purpose whatsoever, including but not limited to use in magazines, brochures, flyers, television, internet, and websites displays without further reference or compensation. All rights, title and interest therein (including all worldwide copyrights therein) shall be the sole property of Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes, or anyone authorized by Island Routes, free from any claims by the undersigned Guest(s) and or any person deriving any rights or interest from such Guest, AND each undersigned Guest(s) UNDERSTANDS AND HEREBY KNOWINGLY AND VOLUNTARILY SO AGREES.

COMPLIANCE WITH LOCAL LAW

Guest is responsible for knowing, obeying and complying with the laws and regulations of their destination, and neither Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours, nor any Tour Supplier, nor the hotel, has any duty to inform or warn Guest about the destination's laws and/or regulations.

This agreement is governed by the laws of Jamaica. You hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of courts in Jamaica, in all disputes arising out of or relating to the use of this Website. Use of this Website is unauthorized in any jurisdiction that does not give effect to all provisions of these terms and conditions, including, without limitation, this paragraph.

You agree that no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists between you and Island Routes Caribbean Adventures as a result of this agreement or use of this Web site.

Performance of this agreement by Island Routes Caribbean Adventures is subject to existing laws and legal process, and nothing contained in this agreement is in derogation of the right to comply with law enforcement requests or requirements relating to your use of this Website or information provided to or gathered by Island Routes Caribbean Adventures with respect to such use.
