Captain Truelove & crew made this the most fun & magical evening intercoastal excursion ever! Dolphins (70 make their home here) were everywhere! We saw them feeding & they even suprised us by surfing in our boat's wake! I think our Captain conspired with them to entertain us. Crew members gave each of us 38 passengers special attention, especially the two youngest passengers. Photo ops included great blue herons, a baby dolphin, family photos, intercoastal marsh grasses, pines and inlets. Drinks and snacks came out early, and the adventure on Wolf Bay ended with a gorgeous sunset & new moon! Did I mention great music, singing and trivia, along with a most knowledgeable and charming crew! The offer a discount if you return, and your wrist band gets you more local dining discounts. The Explorer was truly a special trip.

When planning our trip to Orange Beach there were several cruises to choose from. We decided on this sail and we were glad we did. Crew is awesome. You get a table and chair with options to buy drinks both hard or soft including water. The sail was smooth, great music and wonderful photo ops of a beautiful sunset. Highly recommended!

The staff was extremely knowledgeable about dolphins and many other native animals in the area. They know how to locate the dolphins very quickly and we were able to watch them for quite some time. It was a great experience and I would recommend to anyone wanting to see the dolphins and nature.

We took our 4 children on this cruise. They were very informative and interacted with all of the kids. They had drinks and snacks for kids and adults. (Try the dizzy dolphin) it's well worth the money and we will be taking my mom when we go back next spring break!

This six-hour sail includes breakfast and lunch for all passengers, as well as complimentary ice water, soft drinks, and fruit platters. There is no additional charge for kayaks or paddleboards. Life jackets are always included!

The Flight Plan

Your six-hour sail begins in Orange Beach, where you’ll board your morning dolphin cruise for a picturesque sail to Pensacola, Florida waters. On the way, bask in the sun or relax in the shade while watching for dolphins and other wildlife in the warm gulf waters. Complimentary beverages and fresh fruit will be available throughout the sail to keep you cool and refreshed.

Upon our arrival to Pensacola, we’ll find the best front-row seat for watching the fantastic flights as they soar overhead. A light lunch is served at anchor while you are entertained by the mind-bending displays of flight precision. After the show, a stunning sail back to Orange Beach is the only way to end your outstanding adventure with the Blue Angels.

About The Blues

An estimated 11 million spectators view the squadron each year in air shows. Throughout the life of the program, there have been 251 demonstration pilots and 35 flight leaders. Each pilot must complete 120 training flights during winter training to perform a public demonstration. Among their formations is the amazing Diamond 360 maneuver, in which the pilots will fly their planes within 18 inches of one another.

Kayak Adventure Sail

This thrilling three-hour adventure begins with a stunning sail through picturesque Perdido Pass and into the Gulf of Mexico. After spending the morning at sea, Wild Hearts will moor on Robinson Island in Orange Beach where you can spend the afternoon kayaking, paddle boarding, and sunning. You can even bring your own equipment for snorkeling. When you need a rest, recline, and relax in the shallow waters as you watch the boats come and go from the Gulf. Our drop-down staircase provides easy access from the boat to the water below, making this a great choice for adventurers of all ages.

The Kayak Adventure Sail is a three-hour sail that includes all of your kayaking and paddle boarding equipment and complimentary ice water. Soft drinks and snacks are also available onboard for purchase. Life jackets are always included!

Family Adventure Sail

This enjoyable nature cruise in Orange Beach provides fantastic fun for the whole family. Sailors of all ages will love navigating our nature scenes as you watch for wildlife and learn about our waterways. There’s always catch-and-release fishing, and swimming is available at your Captain’s discretion (sea state permitting).

Would recommend anyone new to sailing to try the Orange Beach Sailing Charters. They provided good customer service up front and a better experience out on the water. Great experience. We took the sunset cruise. Private charter for 6 people. Hard pressed to find a better value. This was a relaxing cruise in the Gulf. The indoor area is cooler and offers shade making it a great area to relax in comfort on hot summer days. The comfortable seating is close to windows to look out.

The outdoor areas of the vessel provide views of the boat wake, front of the boat, and an upper level.

If you are someone who experiences sea sickness or gets nauseous at the smell of fuel we would suggest hanging out on the front of the boat or 2nd level.

We really like the early morning dolphin cruise experience. The weather is cooler and I like to tell myself the dolphins have been waiting overnight to play and are super excited to jump in the wake.

One of the fun things about the afternoon dolphin tours is you may find yourself in a water fight with another boat. The epic water battles are a ton of fun especially on a hot summer afternoon.

Things to know when planning a visit to Cruise Orange Beach

Located at Sportsman Marina in Orange Beach. Enjoy a great lunch or dinner at Tiki & Raw Bar by Barometer restaurant right by the boat launch.

Hours - Morning, Afternoon & Sunset Cruises available Mid-March thru October.

Please confirm with the restaurant to ensure that the hours have not changed.

Accessibility - Ramps on the boat and a handicap-accessible bathroom. The transition from dock to boat requires assistance.

There is a large step down to get onto the boat depending on the tide levels. They have a set of plastic stairs they place in the boat to make it easier to get on and off.

The interior of the boat has seating. If you have any knee or hip problems you will want to be prepared to twist to get into the row of seating.

There is a steep staircase up to the upper level. I would not suggest going to the 2nd level if you have any mobility restrictions and are not a fan of stairs. It is definitely a staircase i held onto while going up and down to make sure I was stable.

Plus Size Seating - There are cushioned seats on the inside of the boat. You may have to move around a pole or other people to get into them.

The top section of the boat has plastic seats without arms that are pretty comfortable. Just make sure you feel ok going up and down the stairwell.

Dress Code/Suggestions - Casual, bring sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and be prepared for the weather.

Pets - Certified service animals are permitted.

Parking   - There is parking alongside the Tiki & Raw Bar by Barometer that used to be Pleasure Island Tiki.

Restrictions -

• Children ages 7 years old and under are required to wear a life jacket on decks outside the cabin space.
