The interior design of the yacht was completed by Bannenberg & Rowell , who has 31 other superyacht interiors in their portfolio and is known for their sleek and modern designs that stand out.
She is built with teak decks and features earthy tones infused with splashes of blue as well as elegant furnishings in neutral colors and richly textured fabrics.
The megayacht features an elevator that makes it easier to travel between floors and an impressive range of amenities to ensure that every guest has an enjoyable time – from being pampered in the spa to relaxing on the deck or watching a movie at sea.
The luxurious amenities continue outdoors because guests can also enjoy outings on the water or to the nearest harbor with one of the superyacht’s tenders.
Specifications
The PACIFIC yacht is a magnificent steel and aluminum yacht that was built with performance and opulence in mind.
Her twin diesel MTU (20V4000 M93L) 20-cylinder 5,764hp engines give her a top speed of more than 20 knots, a range of more than 4,500nm, and a cruising speed of 15 knots.
Compared to similarly-sized yachts, her top speed is 1.87 knots above the average, making her one of the most impressive vessels in the 80-90m size range.
Moreover, she was built to Germanischer Lloyd ✠ 100 A5 Motor Yacht, ✠ MC AUT classification society rules, and is MCA LY2 Compliant.
The PACIFIC yacht has a low-profile design by German Frers , a company famous for using cutting-edge technology and extensive tank-testing programs.
As stylish and sleek as can be, the megayacht’s elegant color changes in the sunlight as she sails through the ocean, reflecting on her hull and deck.
She has been spotted circumnavigating around the globe in places like the South of France, Italy, Australia, Indonesia, Costa Rica, Hawaii, and Florida.
Accommodation
She can accommodate twelve guests in six beautifully appointed cabins and additional space for a highly professional crew of 28 members onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
The yacht also boasts two helicopter pads large enough for simultaneous landings and takeoffs.
Previously known as Project Josi, she was built by the famous Lurssen Shipyard and delivered to her owner in 2010 for US$ 150 million.
Her annual running cost is estimated to be US$ 10 – 15 million. As of now, she is not available for yacht charter nor listed for sale.

How the second-richest Russian’s $150 million superyacht evaded sanctions on a 7,000-mile journey to safety
After not broadcasting its location for almost two weeks , a $150 million luxury superyacht linked to sanctioned Russian billionaire Leonid Mikhelson reappeared again — transmitting it was headed to the Bahamas and Barcelona — locations that would have put it at risk of seizure.
Turns out, its final destination is a safe haven sought after by many other vessels of tycoons facing sanctions : Turkey.
After a nearly month-long journey that took it more than 7,000 miles , the Pacific m Thursday at the port of Marmaris in the country’s south.
The journey of the 280-foot Pacific, sailing “dark” for nearly half of the trip without its automatic identification system turned on as required by international maritime law, shows the risky measures the crew of these multimillion dollar vessels are undertaking to get to jurisdictions deemed unlikely to arrest the floating palaces. The US, Italy and other European governments have seized more than a dozen yachts worth over $2.3 billion to punish Russian tycoons close to President Vladimir Putin for the invasion of Ukraine.
- Follow the Pacific’s journey here .
Turkey has been a favored destination for superyachts connected to Russian oligarchs and tycoons facing scrutiny as countries look to step up sanctions on Russia. Steel billionaire Alexander Abramov’s $100 million Titan traversed the Suez Canal at the beginning of May to get there. The Eclipse, linked to former Chelsea football club owner Roman Abramovich, is in waters off southern Turkey, while My Solaris, another megayacht connected to him, is anchored off the country’s southwestern coast. The Clio, tied to aluminum billionaire Oleg Deripaska, stopped transmitting its location once it reached the Bosphorus Strait near Istanbul in April.

The seizures have sent luxury vessels scattering across oceans seeking refuge. Some have logged more than 5,000 nautical miles since the start of the invasion in late February. Working with Spire Global Inc., an analytics firm that uses nanosatellites to collect data, Bloomberg is tracking vessels connected to Russian tycoons on sanctions lists.
- Interact with a tracker of yachts tied to sanctioned Russians here .
Built in 2010 by German company Luerssen Verwaltungs GmbH, the Pacific features an elevator, pool and smaller speedboat, and has room for 12 guests and 28 crew.
- Watch a video of the Pacific here .
The Pacific, which can accommodate two helicopters, had been anchored at various ports and bays in Costa Rica since late January. On May 5, it departed Marina Papagayo near Culebra Bay and headed southeast, passing through the Panama Canal, according to vessel data analyzed by Bloomberg. The vessel was cruising in the Caribbean Sea northeast of Colon when it stopped broadcasting its location on May 8. It had indicated it was headed to Nassau in the Bahamas. It reappeared 12 days later near the Canary Islands, broadcast it was headed to Barcelona before changing its destination to Port Said in Egypt.
Along with economic and financial sanctions, seizing superyachts, villas and other assets of Russian tycoons close to Putin has become a visible campaign by the US and its allies in trying to deter Russia’s war in Ukraine. In Fiji, the US was granted a seizure order in early May of the $325 million Amadea that it says belongs to sanctioned Russian billionaire Suleiman Kerimov, but authorities have so far been unable to sail it out of the South Pacific island nation. The yacht’s registered owner has put up a series of legal challenges to fight the seizure.
“These yachts are a source of pride and prestige for the owners,” said Benjamin Maltby , a partner at London-based Keystone Law, which specializes in superyacht law. “There’s absolutely no way they would give them away or walk away willingly.”
Mikhelson, Russia’s second-wealthiest person with a fortune of almost $25 billion, was sanctioned by the UK and Canada in early April. He is chief executive officer of Novatek PJSC, the largest non-state-owned natural gas provider in Russia. Novatek is also on the US sanctions list , though Mikhelson himself doesn’t face US sanctions. The multibillionaire owns about one quarter of the publicly traded company, which produces around 10% of the country’s gas.
It isn’t clear whether Mikhelson is on board the Pacific. His representatives at Novatek didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment.

The Pacific Superyacht Forum 2021: one-year countdown
Taking place one year from now in victoria, british columbia – the next hotspot of the superyacht industry….
We are delighted to reveal that exactly one year from now, The Pacific Superyacht Forum will begin, on 20th June 2021, taking place in Victoria, British Columbia, in partnership with Victoria International Marina . The city of Victoria represents the gateway to a 27,000-square-kilometre cruising area encompassing the vast province of British Columbia – an incredible, but relatively untapped area for superyachts to explore.
Having been postponed earlier this year due to COVID-19, this event will now sit comfortably within the Pacific’s Spring/Summer 2021 calendar, bookended by the America’s Cup and the Tokyo Olympics. This is a hotspot of charter and wealth, and The Superyacht Group is very much looking forward to delivering something different and unique in British Columbia.
Both the city and the host partner of the inaugural edition of The Pacific Superyacht Forum are case studies for what this event intends to achieve - they are examples of the potential the Pacific has as a self-sufficient market in its own right. We firmly believe that The Pacific Superyacht Forum will bring together a vast swathe of similar working examples – the combined knowledge of which will help to further progress towards the collective goal.
Victoria International Marina is a relatively new market entrant, enjoying its first full season in 2019 and being the result of investors building superyacht-specific infrastructure from the ground up in expectation of a growing demand. The proposition is now under the auspices of a visionary team of regional industry stakeholders who have understood and supported the ‘Pacific network’ vision as we have developed the concept.
The pandemic related protocol adopted by CEO of Victoria International Marina, Craig Norris and his team involves a slightly modified risk management process which was COVID-19 specific, informed and regularly updated by COVID-19 data coming from the leading health authorities and relevant governing bodies. The three-category risk response system has since caught the attention of ICOMIA and various groups who wish to use it as a standard moving forward. “[The system] hasn't stopped our ongoing efforts to create Exceptional Experiences for our clients, it has only required that we systematically consider the risks and put proper control measures in place to limit them to acceptable levels,” explained Norris.
"Cruising activity is now on the rise. Nobody could have seen COVID-19 coming, but there is a positive outcome for us in British Columbia as we have earned an almost zero COVID-19 reputation, and therefore we can only assume that we will be the next global destination to explore..." - Craig Norris, CEO - Victoria International Marina
“Cruising activity is now on the rise. Nobody could have seen COVID-19 coming, but there is a positive outcome for us in British Columbia as we have earned an almost zero COVID-19 reputation, and therefore we can only assume that we will be the next global destination to explore. Our spirits are high and our community relationships even stronger than before as we head back towards normality,” continued Norris.
This is a region of huge potential to inspire the superyacht owners of tomorrow, but it is also one requiring investment – in infrastructure and a more robust service sector – as well as charter options for those who recognise the market opportunity. The programme that will shape The Pacific Superyacht Forum will take a step away from conventional workshops in order to truly illustrate this region’s potential, from hikes up into the hills to dives deep in the ocean, there will be networking opportunities like no other.
“We are excited to showcase our cruising market and deliver experiences you would never have imagined, and that we need now more than anything else,” concluded Norris.

The large Lurssen built superyacht ‘Pacific’ is imminently to be launched in Vegesack, Germany. Superyacht Pacific is a 85 metre (278 ft) Lurssen motor yacht with exterior design work by German Frers and interior design by Bannenberg & Rowell. The other Lurssen yachts to have be launched this year are the 124.40 metre Crystal, the 87.20 metre Phoenix 2 and the 60 metre Solemates.
2010 is a very important year for new build luxury yacht launches and yacht PACIFIC stands tall amongst the significant yacht launches of this year. At 85 m in length overall this boat is just outside the current top 50 largest private yachts in the world. Yachts of similar length include M/Y ‘Z’, Vibrant Curiosity, Sunrays, Cakewalk and Ecstasea.
PACIFIC, however, is a unique and individual private yacht for several reasons and her exterior design profile is quite traditional in many ways but also shares some contemporary themes with large modern explorer yacht designs. As compared to the Andrew Winch designed 87 m yacht Phoenix 2 – already launched this year by Lurssen – M/Y Pacific has by comparison a lower centre of gravity, a squarer and perhaps more expedition look, with less rounded or flowing edges. German Frers, which is a long standing yacht design company based in Argentina and historically known for sailing yachts, was the experienced design office responsible for M/Y Pacific’s individual look. Often a yacht of this size can have a very tall and volumous superstructure whereas yacht PACIFIC reveals a more modest and balanced height and a good symmetry between hull topsides and the superstructure above.
This is the Lurssen superyacht Phoenix 2 also launched in 2010 makes for interesting comparison to yacht Pacific
Little more is publically known about motor yacht PACIFIC (formerly project JOSI) at this stage. She has been designed and built to be a blue water superyacht made for the ocean and she will no doubt be able to explore long distances in trying conditions if required. While not plumb, her bow is reasonably sheer and it raises to an ample height above the waterline with good flare which is ideal for challenging ocean and weather conditions.
Lurssen Yachts in Germany is one of the world’s preeminent custom private motor yacht builders and their yacht launches are varied in style and type. There is more information about the Lurssen shipyard here as well as below.
CharterWorld will bring you more information, the specification, photos, images and details of yacht PACIIFC as they come to light in the following weeks. If you have any further information about this vessel, please let us know.

Calypso at 61m had a fast and short stop over at Elliot Bay Marine near downtown Seattle, this is per usual for a lot of superyachts when the run uphill to the Puget Sound, the jog up the Pacific west coast can be a grind, although this time of year late spring and early summer it can be majestic and amazing especially for offshore adventures, wildlife and fishing.

Some insist that the true measure of a motor yacht's worth is the dimensions of her flybridge, sundeck, and covered aft-deck. There must be space for owners and their guests to revel in sun, sea, and sky. But there are others equally convinced that a motor yacht must be judged by her interior spaces: How roomy, how magnificently furnished, how well appointed with standard equipment and amenities. Happily, the 39 Motor Yacht satisfies all those requirements. The open bridge seats eight, who can also enter conveniently from the foredeck by the Side Walk.
The 39 Motor Yacht's foredeck and sheltered aft-deck are the perfect adjunct to an interior designed for on-water living and entertaining. Wide of beam, the 39 Motor Yacht's salon, dinette area, and uncommonly roomy galley are remarkable for their space and luxury. The convertible L-lounge is sprawling; the dinette table, solid cherry; the galley, a seacook's delight.
At the end of a satisfying day on the 39 Motor Yacht, two generously proportioned and elegantly outfitted staterooms await the travelers, each with a queen-sized bed.
Experience luxury and relaxation on the spacious aft deck of our 2007 Silverton 39 Motor Yacht Aft Cabin, which seamlessly blends comfort and entertainment, making it the perfect retreat for enjoying the open water.

Hard to find good brokers like Robert! My experience with his Company earns a five star review
I’ve sold two boats and purchased one through Fillingham Yachts. Rob and Micki are exceptional people who offer a high level of service.
Great group to find the boat of your dreams!
This is our second experience with Fillingham Yacht Sales, and to be perfectly honest, probably not our last! Both times we found them to be professional, polite and completely transparent when brokering our deals.
Robert and Micky Siviter were a pleasure to work with during the 2 happiest days that the boat owner experiences. my wife and I went through 6 more of these events previously and this was the smoothest and friendliest by far. “good value” with a 10% fee…is it possible?
Excellent service and professionalism!!! THANK YOU!!!!!
About as easy a selling process as you can get. Mike, Micki, and the whole team at Fillingham made it painless to sell my 2013 Sea Hunt. Thanks again to the team for taking such good care of me.
I recently purchased a 1991 Sabre 38 MK II where Fillingham Yacht Sales was the Owner Broker. The sale was handled by Micki Siviter and Greg Petrat. The whole experience was excellent and what can be a complicated and difficult process went very smoothly due to Micki’s and Greg’s efforts. Both were always readily available and always went above and beyond to help me through the process. Thank you so much.
Greg Petrat did a great job listing and showing our sailboat. As a long time sailor, Greg was able to “coach” prospective buyers on pros and cons and ultimately found a great buyer and new home for our boat.
Micki Siviter made the closing process very easy ensuring a timely and smooth transaction particularly when we encountered a hiccup along the way.
I enjoyed working the the team at Fillingham Yachts and would highly recommend them to represent potential sellers and buyers.
We have bought and sold numerous boats by them. Very reliable and professional.
Great people to deal with. They made the process easy and went out of their way work around my schedule. I highly recommend Jim, Micki and the rest of the team!
Robert did great job selling our 36 hatteras.we r so thankful for Rob & Micki
I have been using the services of Fillingham Yachts for 15 years. They are truly people who care about their customers. I have purchased and sold 10 boats over the years and they handled all of the details promptly and professionally. I have had them find boats for me and they came through with flying colors. I had worked with Bob and Shar Fillingham in the beginning and the past 3 transactions with Rob Siviter the owner. The last boat they sold for me was a 2012 Grady White 275 Freedom. They found this boat for me a couple of years ago. The entire sales process from listing the boat for sale until the money was in my bank was a short 4 weeks. Can’t say enough about how they sell like it the only boat they are selling! They will do the job for you so give them a shot and find out what it is like to deal with true professionals in the yachting business. JW. December 2018
Top of the line service. Worked very hard to get my boat sold. Great job processing the paperwork. Lots of communication!!! Great Job
My husband and I recently purchased a 330 SeaRay through Robert at Fillingham Yatchs. It was a pleasure working with Rob and Micki throughout the whole process. Rob was very patient and knowledgeable when it came to answering our many questions, and addressing our concerns. We live up north, and Rob gladly handled the marine survey on our behalf, and more importantly, directed and followed through with all the necessary repairs as he said he would. After the purchase, Rob set a day aside for us to fly into Tampa to take us out for the day to familiarize us with the boat and to make sure we were comfortable with all aspects of it. He also took it upon himself to arrange transportation of the boat from Tampa to Miami, and even went as far as meeting the boat in Miami to ensure there were no problems. Rob went above and beyond what had to be done to insure we were happy. We would highly recommend using Rob to anyone looking to purchase a boat. His guidance, actions and hands on approach made purchasing a boat from out of state so effortless and simple. Throughout this whole process he also has become a friend, and we will always appreciate what he did for us. Thanks so much Rob for all your help. We will definitely be reaching out to you when we’re ready to move up to a bigger boat. Love to see you guys when you’re in Miami.
Robert did an amazing job selling my SeaVee. I would use him again.
Just wanted to let anyone know that this company is outstanding.I purchased a Sea Vee center console through these guys.It was one of the most pleasant experiences I have ever had.I would gladly refer these folks.I am from Charleston,S.C. and had never dealt with a broker. These folks are TOP SHELF.
Fillingham yachts are the best! Micki took extremely good care of me providing information and guidance and quick callbacks to any questions. Al Lima my broker was there for me every minute from looking at boats to picking one out and making an offer to closing and helping to understand all the regulations and paperwork. I would highly recommend this group to anybody purchasing or selling their boat.
Robert and Micki are both nice people and good at what they do. My boat had some serious engine problems discovered during the Sea Trial/Survey; anti-freeze in the oil. Robert arranged for a mechanic, the problem got fixed and the deal was completed. I am in CA, the boat in FL so it was GREAT help to me that he was willing to deal with it so I did not need to make a trip to FL. I would HIGHLY recommend and definitely do business with them again.
Thank you so much to Mike and Micki for all your help and professionalism dealing with the sale of our Yacht. Both went up and above requirements to help during Covid 19. Our borders were closed to Canada and they both made the experience very easy and were in contact giving updates and support throughout the whole time. I would recommend both parties to anyone who wants to sell their boats if you want an assured, professional and confident sale. Fillingham Yachts should be proud to have two expert people on their team. Regards and thanks again for everything Glenn and Sue Chapman
Robert did a great job marketing and selling our boat! He is very detailed, follows through on all promises and is determined to get the transaction closed. Also, selling the boat was difficult for us and he was sensitive to this transitional time in our lives. In addition, when it came time for closing, Micki made sure everything was in order and didn’t forget about us once the boat was delivered to her new owners. They are a great team!
Rob and Micki were great to work with and all of their five star ratings are well deserved! I was on the purchasing end as a remote buyer and they made the whole experience seamless. They answered my many questions and provided great recommendations for insurance, transportation and surveyor. Micki efficiently took care of all of the paperwork and explained what I needed to do after the purchase. They are top quality people and I would highly recommend them!
I’ve purchased and sold multiple boats through Fillingham Yacht Sales. Rob and Micki provide exceptional communication and outstanding customer service. 10 Stars!
Mike, and Mickey were without a doubt the best people I have ever bought a boat from. From their quick call backs to the absolute no delay paperwork signing and approvals and the best part was their knowledge and professionalism. I didn’t buy a boat from a broker I’m proud to say I bought a boat from my now life long friends.
We worked with Al Lima. We actually met him because the broker we had was always unavailable. The vessel we wanted to look at was listed with Al. He was super!!! always early to our appointments, wasn’t pushy, he was actually someone we would love to just sit and chat with. The whole experience was awesome. Not only was he extra helpful w information we requested but was super quick about getting the answers for us. I would definitely recommend him. To any one. Thank you Al… we are in love with Mama!
I recently purchased a 1991 Sabre 38 MK II where Fillingham Yacht Sales was the Owner Broker. The sale was handled by Micki Siviter and Greg Petrat. Rob and Micki were easy to work with and extremely helpful. Couldn’t ask for a better broker when buying a boat, they went the extra mile and made the transaction easy! Professional and personable! We highly recommend their team when purchasing a boat! Thank you for everything, we are very happy!
I recently closed on a 28 sea ray sundeck. Robert and Micki went way above my expectations and were extremely helpful and communicated throughout the whole process. To add to it, I’m a remote buyer. I showed up to check out the boat . When I decided to buy it, I let Robert know and he did everything that needed to be done for me and more. Highly recommend! read more
Great people to work with. Process was seemless. Micki and Anna kept us informed throughout. Highly recommend Fillingham!
Fillingham made is very easy to list, show and sell our boat. Once the buyer was identified all the paperwork and details were handled quickly. Great service and very knowledgeable, highly recommend!
Fillingham Yachts provided us with very good service during the time our sailboat was listed with them. Their agents responded with professionalism and genuine concern as our boat took a few years to sell. Their advice was on target as our agent read the market and met with prospective buyers as soon as interest appeared. During the sale, the business office expedited the process quickly and smoothly, making the final process easy. We highly recommend Fillingham Yachts. read more
We had a great experience buying our first sailboat. Although Jim Clark was representing the seller, he went out of his way to make sure that we had a positive experience pre and post purchase. With us being out of town he was there to support us and recommend the various service providers that we need. read more
Very professional service provided by very personable and helpful people.
Mike was awesome in helping me purchase a Sea Ray 310 Sundancer. Not only did he assist me with negotiating a great deal with the seller but he was always available to help me with any questions I may have had with regard to the boat. In addition, he pointed out some potential issues the boat may have and advised on some early maintenance items that I should attend to. This was all before purchasing the boat, so that I knew exactly what I was buying and what some additional costs may be. I also had to go and see the boat a few times to get photos for insurance, etc. and Mike was always more than willing to be there for me. Micki was also great in helping me with all of the administration (title, registration, purchasing documents, etc.). All in all this was an exceptional boat buying experience, and I would recommend Fillingham Yachts Sales to anyone looking for a boat! read more
Perfect experience working with Rob and Micki. Rob helped with all the details of narrowing down the boats I wanted to look at and then working with me through the sea trial and negotiations. Then as we got down to a time crunch for the closing Micki went above and beyond to help make sure everything got done on time. Can’t imagine a better experience. The lender they referred me too was fantastic as well. read more
Great service, knowledgeable, handled the details perfect and I would recommend Fillingham Yacht Sales to anyone buying or selling.
Robert and Micki did a great job selling my Pursuit. They provided a professional and honest assessment of the boats value. Got it sold efficiency. Micki produced all required paperwork, and got it out in a timely manner. I would recommend Fillingham Yachts for your goto boat broker.
