Specifications

Overall, the QUINTA ESSENTIA yacht’s length is 55m with a 10.2m beam. She is made with an aluminum hull and superstructure as well as a multitude of decks that are ideal for relaxation and entertainment. 

With her hybrid propulsion system, she comfortably cruises at 15 knots and reaches a maximum speed of 16 knots with a range of up to 6,500 nautical miles from her 80,000-liter fuel tanks at 9 knots.

She has a fuel capacity of 75 liters and a gross tonnage of 870GT. She also highlights at-anchor stabilizers providing exceptional comfort levels and assuring safe, silent, and efficient navigation. 

Accommodation

The QUINTA ESSENTIA yacht offers luxurious accommodations for up to 12 charter guests distributed in six themed cabins.

Seven cabins are also in place to house 13 cabin crews, including the captain, to make life on board as comfortable as a royal. 

Her accommodation layout comprises a master suite with a balcony, a VIP cabin with a private deck and a full-circle view, and four guest cabins with bed configurations, including two convertibles. 

The yacht hosts several destressing facilities, including a luxury spa, beauty salon, swimming pool, well-equipped gym, and an upper deck jacuzzi.

She is equipped with a helipad so that guests can have an impeccable transfer to and from anywhere they want.

Her water toys and accessories ensure that the guests’ stay is extra memorable and fun.

These include 2 x F5s Seabobs, 2 x Jetsurf Ultrasport, 2 x Seadoo Wake pro 230 wave runners, 2 x Jobe wakeboards, 1 x Water-ski Selection of towables (for eight pax in total), and fishing/ snorkeling equipment among others. 

The yacht’s exterior is a masterpiece by Dobroserdov Designs , with Vripack as the naval architect. 

She features four teak decks that cater to the charter guests’ relaxation and entertainment needs.

On the upper decks, guests can enjoy alfresco dining and some get-together chitchats in the ample living spaces. 

The lounge area also features a large swimming pool on the lower aft deck.

Delivered in 2016, Quinta Essentia is an award winning 55m motor yacht built by Italian shipyard Admiral Yachts. The yacht's elegant exterior design is by Dobroserdov Design, while her interiors are the work of Michela Reverberi.

Design & Construction

Designed around a full displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 10.2m beam and a 2.45m draft. The yacht is built over 4 decks with an internal volume of 851 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a touch and go heli-pad.

Launched in March 2016 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in September 2016.

Exterior Design

The exterior design of Quinta Essentia, crafted by Dobroserdov Design, emphasizes clean lines and a functional aesthetic. The yacht's hull, painted in deep ruby, draws a visual connection to Tuscany's renowned Merlot wines, offering a nod to the region's vinicultural heritage. 

Functionality is at the forefront of Quinta Essentia's exterior design. The gym, located on the sundeck, utilizes the natural light and sea breeze to create a pleasant workout environment. Protective measures are in place to ensure that gym equipment remains unaffected during routine maintenance, such as the elevation of the sole above the deck level.

Entertainment spaces on the main deck aft are equipped for hosting events, featuring professional sound systems and comfortable lounge seating. The yacht includes a bar and a 3,000-gallon pool, with a heat recovery system from the air-conditioning to warm the water rapidly.

The yacht also features practical outdoor amenities such as a versatile helipad and two spa pools. The full-beam master stateroom has a fixed balcony, adding to the guest experience, while the VIP suite includes access to private sun loungers on the foredeck.

Interior Design

The decor concept of Quinta Essentia incorporates the elements of air, fire, earth, and water, which serve as a thematic foundation throughout the interior. This is reflected in the choice of materials and decorations, adding depth and meaning to the design while fostering a connection with the natural world. The use of these motifs is subtle yet deliberate, designed to enhance the guest experience without overwhelming the senses.

Soft silk carpets provide a luxurious underfoot experience, contributing to the serene ambiance. Solid doors enhance privacy and minimize noise, allowing for a peaceful environment within the various interior spaces.

Attention to detail is evident in the custom-made furnishings that populate the yacht's salons and communal areas. Collaborations with skilled artisans have resulted in unique decorative elements that not only serve functional purposes but also add character to the spaces they occupy. From the dining table to the upholstery, each piece has been crafted to complement the yacht's design narrative.

Accommodation

Quinta Essentia offers a sophisticated and tranquil accommodation experience for up to 12 guests across her six well-appointed cabins. Each space is designed to provide the utmost privacy and comfort to those on board.

The centerpiece of the yacht's accommodations is the full-beam master stateroom, located on the main deck. This suite includes a fixed balcony on the port side, allowing for an exclusive view of the sea. The suite's expansive design ensures ample space for relaxation and privacy.

One level above, the VIP suite rivals the master stateroom in both size and amenity, boasting near-identical luxury features. This suite can function as a second owner's suite and offers access to sun loungers on the foredeck, providing an additional private outdoor space for the occupants.

Below on the lower deck, four guest staterooms are intelligently designed with flexibility in mind. The furniture within these staterooms can be reconfigured to create two larger suites, each with its own private lounge area. This adaptable setup is ideal for accommodating various guest arrangements, particularly for charter scenarios where guest preferences may vary.

Quinta Essentia's commitment to comfort extends to the crew quarters for up to 13 and which adhere to LY3 standards. This ensures that the individuals maintaining and operating the yacht are also afforded a level of accommodation that supports their well-being and efficiency.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin electric (Electric Motors) 201hp engines, motor yacht Quinta Essentia is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 15 knots. With her 80,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 6,500 nautical miles at 9 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.

The yacht's propulsion system facilitates near-silent operation, distinguishing Quinta Essentia from many other vessels in its class. The electric motors ensure that noise and vibration are kept to a minimum, which contributes significantly to the tranquil environment onboard.

The design of Quinta Essentia also includes a compact engine room. This strategic choice maximizes living spaces without sacrificing the yacht's mechanical capabilities. As a result, guests can enjoy spacious accommodations and amenities while the yacht maintains its performance standards.

Furthermore, the vessel's environmental consciousness is evidenced by its efficient use of energy. The pool on the main deck aft exemplifies this, with its ability to recover heat from the air-conditioning system to pre-heat the water quickly.

How did they do it?

The project was led by Sergei Dobroserdov from Nakhimov Yachts, who had previously worked with the owners. They engaged Van Cappellen, a Dutch firm known for their expertise in reducing noise and vibration, to collaborate with the Italian Sea Group, operating out of Marina di Carrara, where the shipyard is recognized for constructing notably quiet motor yachts, such as the Cacos V which achieved the RINA Comfort Class designation.

The engineering challenge of keeping the engine room compact, as stated by Albert Abma from Vripack, was critical in the construction of Quinta Essentia. This design decision, made in cooperation between Vripack, Nakhimov, and the Italian Sea Group, allowed for a maximization of living space on the yacht. Despite its 55-meter length, the yacht boasts a considerable volume of 873 gross tonnes, surpassing the owner's previous yacht. The design also focused on low resistance, comfort, and a minimal draught to accommodate the owner's interest in following coastal sailing regattas.

The construction faced constraints due to the choice of lightweight aluminium for its benefits in achieving a shallow draught, yet limiting space below the waterline due to the interlocking frame structure. This required inventive solutions to balance technical and living spaces onboard. Additionally, the owner's desire for a direct connection with the environment influenced the design of the master suite with a personal balcony, further challenging the spatial arrangement and necessitating careful consideration of noise and vibration mitigation.

The Fifth Element

In ancient times the Greeks believed that all matter beneath the moon was made of varying combinations of the four elements: Earth, Water, Fire and Air. Above the moon, matter was made up of a substance they called the 5th essence. In Latin, this is Quinta Essentia .

This fifth essence or element was believed to cure all illness, extend life, and turn base metals into gold. How to combine the four elements to make the Fifth was the dilemma of alchemy.

We are all striving to find that perfect balance of all the aspects of our life in order to achieve optimum well being. Much like alchemy – health does not just boil down to one “element”. It is necessary to achieve a balance between many aspects (diet, exercise, stress management, happiness and other lifestyle choices) in order for us to find our Quinta Essentia .

The four elements are continually present in the yacht: four staterooms, four entertainment decks and four engines (two diesel and two electric). The fifth element is the yacht itself and brings the four elements together, offering health and wellness to its guests.

Yachting that makes sense

QUINTA ESSENTIA was developed by an experienced yachts & sportsman. Traditional yachts often have formal salons and cabins that are hardly ever used while at the same time there is limited space for different types of entertainment on board. In search for efficiency QUINTA ESSENTIA’s owner created a smart layout with four different types of activity on the four decks where all space on board is used in the optimal way.

The yacht is built in aluminum with a hybrid propulsion not wasting any fuel and at the same time reducing noise and vibrations. The owner appreciates space. QUINTA ESSENTIA has a volume of 873 GT, 25% more than her Dutch competitors. The high volume translates not only in more square meters but also in more deck heights.

Never a Dull Moment

The upper deck has the main salon, which opens up completely to the aft deck, creating an immense indoor/outdoor area, including outdoor dining.

In “private use” the yacht accommodates 8 people in 2 owners’ staterooms and 2 VIP suites. The largest owner’s cabin is on the main deck and offers a balcony.

On The Water

When the stern door comes down the swim platform has an exceptional surface area of 45 m2 (485 sq ft) ready for water sports. The yacht comes with a fully carbon fiber custom built limo tender designed to accommodate 8 guests in comfort. Using his experience, the owner designed a very beautiful yet practical tender limo which is easy to maneuver. In addition, there is a Castoldi 18 fast rescue boat and general tender. Water sports and toys include two Sea Bobs, two Jetskis and a storage room for fishing and dive equipment.

The helideck is positioned on the foredeck, the favorite place to land a helicopter according to most pilots. The helipad is capable handling a Europter EC 135 or similar. The landing facility is for private use only and not certified for charter.

Hybrid Propulsion

Comfort Innovation

In addition to the quiet propulsion and generators, the noise levels are reduced by using the latest insulation technology. QUI NTA ESSENTIA has double and triple glazed throughout with flush glass on the outside of the portholes – this reduces noise at sea, therefore increasing comfort. XIR heat reflective film is applied to increase the efficiency of the AC system. More efficient air conditioning means lower air speeds from the fan coils – again maximizing comfort.

The engine room has additional cooling, reducing the ventilation air speed and as a result reducing noise underway. Dry silencers on main engines and three-part water filtration to reduce noise of generators and main engines.

Travel in Style

The hull has inserts in custom “Montemaggio Red” colors. This is a custom color that is similar to grapes in the owner’s vineyard in Tuscany. 10 boxes of Montemaggio wine are supplied with the yacht.

Quinta Essentia features advanced hybrid propulsion system, which integrates two traditional MAN engines of 1,400 hp each with two electric motors of 150 kW each, connected to variable speed generators. She reaches a top speed of 16.5 knots and cruises at a speed of 9.5 knots.

After You was the largest and one of the most powerful Heesen yachts when she was delivered in 2011. Powered by a pair of 4,300kW, MTU 20V 4000 M93L diesel engines, After You will reach a notable top speed of 24 knots. In consultation with Van Oossanen Associates, Heesen’s in-house naval architects have created a sophisticated and highly efficient hard-chine hull, while Frank Laupman from Omega Architects drew the sleek and elegant exterior lines.

With her pelican beak bow and reverse sheer, ' After You ' clearly shows her Heesen pedigree. The owners, in collaboration with Dobroserdov Design, personally worked on the colour scheme, which features a combination of a custom metallic dark red Awlgrip paint that is combined with oyster white. The inspiration for the dark red tone is taken from Montemaggio Merlot and reflects another of the owner’s passions – fine Tuscan wines. The same colour scheme is repeated on the limousine tender, designed by Vripak and custom built in New Zealand by Vaudrey Miller. 

The discreet luxury of After You’s interior was conceived by interior designer Ken Freivokh and further developed by Michela Reverberi, who was responsible for the detailing and interior decoration.

After You’s design offers some notably luxurious features, such as the largest owners’ stateroom seen on any of Heesen’s yachts, which has been a personal input of the owner. In size it is comparable to those found on yachts of over 80 metres, while she is also the first in the Heesen fleet to sport a tender bay that can be flooded to allow easy launching and recovery of the tenders, and a swimming pool on the main deck that is filled by a waterfall. The gym and spa facilities, including a steam room and a massage room, play a key role on the sun deck.

Guest Accommodation

After You offers guest accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising a master suite, four double cabins and one twin cabin. There are 7 beds in total, including 1 king, 1 queen, 3 doubles and 2 singles. She is also capable of carrying up to 13 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

A charter on After You is comfortable and convenient thanks to the provided amenities such as a serene luxury spa, for the utmost in relaxation. Take a plunge in the pool under the sun or you can visit the well-equipped gym so that you can keep up with your fitness routine at sea. Sit back with a glass of champagne in the deck jacuzzi.

Powered by twin MTU engines, she comfortably cruises at 17 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 25 knots with a range of up to 4,500 nautical miles from her 125,000 litre fuel tanks at 12 knots. After You features at-anchor stabilizers providing exceptional comfort levels.

When not cruising After You has onboard an incredible selection of water toys and accessories for you and your guests to connect with the waters around you. Take to the sea on a Jet Ski offering you power and control on the water. Guests can experience the thrill and adventure of riding a Yamaha FX- SHO-CR WaveRunner. In addition there are waterskis that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. If that isn't enough After You also features a seabob, wakeboards, fishing equipment and snorkelling equipment.
