Who are Tony and Barrie Drewitt-Barlow? UK's first gay dads on 'Below Deck' run a million-dollar empire

After the Covid-19 scare on Parsifal III drove guests away, Captain Glenn Shephard and his team were ready to welcome a new set of people. The Drewitt-Barlow family of nine people booked the luxury yacht to experience the Croatian coast. But the preference sheet meeting got Natasha De'Bourg, Daisy Kelliher, and Gary King, thinking how they'd accommodate that many people. More on that but before let's take a look at our primary guests Tony and Barrie Drewitt-Barlow, also known as Britain's first gay dads. READ MORE Who contracted Covid-19 on Parsifal III? Wild rumors about 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' ending soon worry fans

'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' Spoilers: Will Gary King and Alli Dore share their first kiss tonight?

Barrie and Tony met in 1987 in Manchester UK. Tony had just received the New Scientist of the year award and was driving to Granada Studios when he lost his way. Looking for directions at a gas station, he bumped into Barrie, who readily agreed to help. Despite their best efforts, the duo found themselves going their separate ways in 2019. Interestingly, despite the split, the former couple continues to live out of their Florida home with their five children -21-year-old twins, Saffron and Aspen, Orlando, 17, and 11-year-old twins Dallas and Jasper. Even though they paint a happy picture, bringing up their oldest set of twins was not easy. Since they were the first same-sex family trying to get pregnant, the options were limited. After spending years and thousands of US dollars, Tony and Barrie changed their IVF clinic and surrogate, following which they welcomed Saffron and Aspen in 1999, their website reads.  Tony now dates Brent, while Barrie is engaged and has a baby with daughter Saffron's ex-boyfriend Scott R Hutchison. The men may have moved on with other people but they are equally invested and focused in raising their kids. In February 2021, when Tony reportedly made $90 million via Bitcoin, he invested the money in their kids' names. "Saffron and her twin Aspen received $15million each, younger brother Orlando, 17, also got $15million, and 11-year-old twins Dallas and Jasper received $10million," The Sun revealed. Valentina, Barrie and Scott's firstborn, also received a million dollars.

"Barrie and I have always wanted to give our family and extended families nice things and we have always spoilt our children, now we can really spoil them," Tony told the publication and added: "The pressure of being financially responsible for everyone has now lifted and that’s a great feeling." They are massive spenders and it's not surprising given the string of businesses they have. According to reports , they enjoy a combined net worth of $40 million. Below Deck Stars Who Are Part Of The LGBTQIA Community

Izzy Wouters smiles next to sign

For the unacquainted, "Below Deck" is a reality show on Bravo, and has been on the air since 2013. It follows the exploits of a yacht crew as they navigate life while sailing the seven seas, per TV Insider . The crew was originally led by Captain Lee Rosbach; though he's taken a break from the show, Captain Lee addressed his "Below Deck" future in an exclusive interview with The List, hinting at a possible return.

From "The Real World: New York" showcasing one of the first out gay people on TV, to "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy's" whole existence, reality TV has continuously broken ground in terms of LGBTQ+ representation. "Below Deck" is no exception, with several out and proud crew members. David Bradberry first paved the way back in season one, when he came out as gay to his crewmates, and Captain Sandy Yawn, leader of the "Below Deck Mediterranean" crew, doesn't discriminate when it comes to love, openly dating both men and women. Cast members like these two set the precedent for LGBTQ+ acceptance on "Below Deck," and plenty of yachties have come out since then.

Tyler Walker, who joined the crew in season 10, broke barriers when he came out on camera, saying in a confessional, "My sexuality is fluid...moving into yachting, I could just explore myself. It's been amazing.". Just two seasons prior, Izzy Wouters, out and proud lesbian, graced our screens. She came out as a lesbian in 2020, though her journey took place off-camera. Both stars admitted to facing difficulty in their coming out processes because of their reality TV star status.

Izzy Wouters came out on Instagram

The previously untold truth about Izzy Wouters is now out in the open, and we couldn't be happier for her. According to People , she decided to come out in an Instagram post, rather than on camera, though the post has since been deleted. Though she's proud of her decision, she nearly didn't come out. In an interview with E! News , Wouters shared her fear of being called "attention seeking" in the wake of her Instagram post. Luckily, she's received an outpouring of support: "People now in my community...reach out to me and chat to me...it's been really fun."

Since coming out, she has not been in any committed, public-facing relationships. Though she told E! News that she was exploring her options via online dating apps, she hasn't gone any further than that. She admitted to being emotionally sensitive and needing to toughen up after "Below Deck" thrust her into the spotlight, so it's not a stretch to assume that she'd want to keep any potential relationships private.

Tyler Walker's mother is still coming to terms with her son's sexuality

Tyler Walker smiles

Tyler Walker was 24 years old when he joined the crew of the St. Davis . Hailing from a small town in South Africa, yachting gave him the outlet he needed to explore the world and his sexuality. On " Watch What Happens: Live " with Andy Cohen, Walker said that he grew up primarily among straight people, and had no LGBTQ+ role models, adding an extra layer of difficulty. He opened up about the process to E! News in an exclusive interview, admitting that the process was less than ideal, especially when it came to his conservative mother, who had trouble understanding Walker's perspective.

Thankfully, his sister has stuck by his side. As the very first person he came out to (even before he came out on TV), she has helped him navigate those tough conversations. Even though his mother still doesn't quite understand her son's sexual orientation, the two remain close. Walker said that they still speak every day and that her gradual willingness to hear his point of view has given him hope for the future.

'Below Deck' Has More LGBTQ+ Representation Than You Realize

The Big Picture

  • Below Deck showcases LGBTQ+ individuals breaking gender norms in the yachting industry.
  • Diversity in crew representation on Below Deck sparks conversations on gender and race.
  • Captain Sandy Yawn and Fraser Olender make history as openly LGBTQ+ crew members in leadership roles.

For the most part, the five franchises within the Below Deck universe are filled with personalities that fall into heteronormative tropes. Macho men on deck. Female stewardesses in the interior. But there have not only been individuals who have defied the gender norms in certain roles, but the reality franchise has showcased how LGBTQ+ individuals have been able to work and survive in the yachting industry. Whether it is David Bradbury who was the first out gay deckhand on Season 1, Fraser Olender being the first male Chief Stew in the franchise, or Captain Sandy Yawn being an out and proud lesbian and the only female captain in a male-dominated job, Below Deck has been able to highlight how sexuality in the yachting industry has its struggles and celebrations.

Since 2013, Below Deck has been one of Bravo's top properties. Following work and play on the high seas, Below Deck is a reality show that fans dream of being able to take part in. As charter guests, of course! With so much success, the flagship franchise spawned four spin-offs: Below Deck Mediterranean in 2016, Below Deck Sailing Yacht in 2020, Below Deck Down Under in 2022, and Below Deck Adventure also in 2022. Throughout the five series, there have been some incredible LGBTQ+ individuals who have had the opportunity to share their stories through this huge television platform.

'Below Deck' Spotlights the Discrimination in the Yachting Industry

When Season 1 of Below Deck began, it was a learning curve for viewers. For most, it was their first opportunity to look into the world of the yachting industry. While the show may have had some rough camera angles and a necessity to amplify the drama that Bravo fans have come to expect, the personalities of the motoryacht were the spotlight of the series. The crew on superyacht Honor included Captain Lee Rosbach , with heads of departments Chef Ben Robinson , Chief Stewardess Adrienne Gang , and First Officer Aleks Taldykin . The interior team consisted of two women, Kat Held and Samantha Orme . The exterior team comprised two men, Eddie Lucas and David Bradbury. The gender lines showcased the typical breakdown in the world of yachting, but there was one crew member who was an anomaly: David Bradbury . He was a bright-eyed boy next door who just so happened to be gay. While he may not have engaged in much drama, his time on the show did allow him to discuss how rare queer individuals are on the deck in the yachting industry. It was a powerful moment for the very first season of the program to bring this discussion to light. And as the show continued, further discussions on gender, sexuality, and race came to the forefront.

How Much Exactly Do You Have to Pay to Charter a Boat on 'Below Deck Mediterranean'?

For those who have thousands of dollars just lying around...

While there are positive portrayals of diversity on the show, it's not necessarily a reflection on the industry as a whole. According to the cast, if you're a minority, it's a harder climb to the top. That might be why Captain Sandy has so much passion for her position. When Below Deck cast their first crewmember of color, Jennice Ontiveros , on Season 2, she also broke barriers on the show as the first female deckie. Her presence opened up the conversation about gender roles on yachts and also kept viewers in tune to the diversity makeup on the show. So when Season 8 rolled around and the cast began with no crew of color, there was an outcry. As Simone Mashile on Below Deck Season 7 stated , "So I've calculated that like, .02 percent of people in this industry are people of color." She continued on to say, "Oh, it was such a mission to even get the first job because they were looking for these like blonde, blue-eyed people. So I'm excited about learning how to do serve and being like a well-rounded stew."

With individuals working on megayachts from all around the world with so many backgrounds and beliefs, s ometimes the fear of being outed on the job can be hard. Especially if a homophobic chef is working in the galley. During Below Deck Med Season 4, Chef Mila Kolomeitseva was easily the worst and most unqualified chef the show has ever seen. And behind her poor quality of work, she showcased her antiquated morals. During a car ride for a crew night out, she shared her displeasure of the LGBTQ+ community stating she didn't want to see two men kissing. Her homophobic remarks alienated her coworkers, but aided in her dismissal. It was the first time a conversation dealing with homophobia caused tension on Below Deck .

For all the bad eggs out there, allies do exist. But that doesn't necessarily indicate opportunities for queer individuals. Below Deck Med star Kyle Viljoen has stated that gay yachties have to work twice as hard to be promoted and be taken seriously in their field. He's revealed that he has had employers ask him to be less feminine on the job, a request that is discriminatory. During his time on the show, he was often seen showing his emotions. Especially the ones that are tied to gay men. He had a big fear of his sexuality being pinned on how he reacted, especially when he was injured. He continued to question where the promotions and pay increases were. Well, when it comes to Below Deck, it's rare, but they do exist.

Captain Sandy and Fraser Olender Make History on 'Below Deck'

It wasn't until Season 10 of Below Deck before the program featured a male Chief Stew. Fraser Olender showcased how you can work your way up in the industry. First appearing on the show during Season 9 as a 2nd Stew, Fraser was diligent, professional, and a barrel of fun. When it was time to hire a new Chief Stew, Captain Lee Rosbach looked toward the trusty Fraser to lead the interior. He was nervous having this upper management position, but he performed his job exceptionally well. He was retained in his position for a second season as Chief Stew for Season 11, working under Captain Kerry Titheradge , the new flagship captain. Fraser is openly gay and proved that regardless of sexual orientation, the guest experience was not hindered. In fact, with perhaps the exception of The Real Housewives of New York City 's Jill Zarin , not a single charter guest has complained about his prowess in his position. It was an important step for the program. In the same year that Fraser received his promotion, Below Deck Med also made history with the promotion of Below Deck Down Under 's Tumi Mhlongo as the first Black Chief Stew in the franchise. Visibility is crucial on television. And it just so happens that both individuals have worked with another history maker, Captain Sandy Yawn.

‘Below Deck Sailing Yacht' Season 1 Almost Sank the Series

The first season of 'BDSY' traveled some rough seas.

While it may be hard to believe, Captain Sandy Yawn arrived on Below Deck Med for Season 2, replacing Captain Mark Howard who was just not TV worthy. With over two decades in the boating industry, Captain Sandy Yawn's mission on Below Deck Med is to show how women can be just as amazing as the men in yachting. She wanted to break down the stereotypes she faces by exposing her ability to viewers and the world. She has also had to face firsthand what it is to be a lesbian captain. With her time on Below Deck Med , and that partial season cameo on Below Deck Season 10, Captain Sandy has used her platform to be an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community. She is proud of who she is, having just married her girlfriend, Leah Shaffer . Viewers will have the chance to see the pair become engaged during Season 9 of Below Deck Med .

Representation Matters on 'Below Deck'

Representation matters. Whether it's seeing someone who looks and speaks like your or if it's someone who's shared a similar life experience, it's important to showcase the individuals and stories that represent the world today. While it can always be improved, representation on Below Deck and Below Deck Med has been overwhelmingly positive comparatively to other reality programs. When it comes to the interior team, Fraser was not the first nor last gay man to work as a stew. The first gay stew was Josiah Carter on Below Deck on Season 6. He was one of the best stews the show had ever seen. He was simply a dream! And then there was Kyle Viljoen on Season 7 and Season 8 of Below Deck Med . The South African was no stranger to drama! Again, not the first nor the last, one of Kyle's claims-to-fame was engaging in a bit of a boatmance with charter guest and dreamboat Frank Fay .

When they finally got to kiss following the charter, it was a beautiful and monumental moment! He had engaged in a very heated moment with deckhand Max Salvador, who believed, as a straight man, he was part of the LGBTQ+ community. Kyle, through his anger, said he accepted Max's allyship but was adamently he was not a member of the community. While many know Kate Chastain as one of the biggest stars of the show, she did briefly have a girlfriend, Ricio Hernandez . The two had a public breakup that involved the police. Since her dabble with women, Kate is back to men. Currently, on Season 9 of Below Deck Med , Chef Jono Shillingford is one of the only openly out chefs to appear on the program. He was thrilled to work with Captain Sandy as she was a great representation for the community.

When it comes to the exterior team, the stereotype is that it is a male role. But Below Deck has featured a cast of characters that have blown that argument wide open. Following David Bradbury in Season 1 and Season 3, Kyle Dixon arrived. During his time during Season 4, Kyle not only revealed he was bisexual, he revealed to the crew that he was dating a transgender woman. While the reaction may have been mixed, most of his coworkers just didn't see either reveal coming. Never judge a book by its cover! During his time on Season 5 of Below Deck , Bruno Duarte was mostly known for not getting along with the two stars of the show. The story on the show revolved around the loss of his twin brother and his abusive father.

Since the show, he is out and proud, married to his husband Alex . For Tyler Walker , he came onto Season 10 later in the season, but his story resonated with many viewers. He came out to his conservative South African parents during filming of Below Deck . One of the more triumphant coming out stories on Below Deck Med came from Lloyd Spencer . The deckhand came out as sexually fluid , in a tearful reveal to Chief Stew Katie Flood . Though he revealed that he was "90% straight," he shared about prior yachting experiences where he the f-word slur was used against him by the highest ranking members of the boat.

For deckhands, it's a predominantly a male-dominated position, but Below Deck has featured some astounding females in the role. To make it even harder, being an LGBTQ+ female deckhand comes with its own problems of beating stereotypes. The first out lesbian deckhand was Jen Riservato on Below Deck Med Season 1 . From the jump, her superiors and co-deckhands didn't quite know how to manage and work with her. It was a struggle watching her having to navigate the hurdles while keeping her spirits high. While she was temperamental at her job, she displayed why her queer women on the deck have a harder time in the industry. Izzy Wouters was originally brought on to Season 8 of Below Deck as a stewardess but she had more of a passion for the deck. So she was moved over to the exterior where she ended the season as the lead deckhand. She officially came out on social media as a lesbian during the airing of the season. And then there is Below Deck Med 's Lara Du Preez . Her time on Season 8 was filled with her being one of the guys on the deck. She was an out and proud lesbian during her time on the program.

While the show has had a handful of queer crew members, the show has no shortage of LGBTQ+ charter guests. And they've had some of the most fabulous and outlandish parties the crew has ever had to cater to. Of course, some of the guests tested every last nerve of the crew, but let's just say, some of the crew will flirt and show off their abs in order to make the most of the tip at the end of the charter. Allowing the Below Deck series to showcase these charter guests is a victory in itself. As Below Deck continues to sail into the sunset, hopefully diversity and representation in every capacity will continue to rise. Whether or not the yachting industry truly is reflected on the screen, Below Deck is proudly giving voice to a community that deserves it.

Below Deck and all its spin-offs are available to stream on Peacock.

‘Below Deck Med’s Chef Johnathan Shillingford Thinks Aesha Scott Handled Those Rude Charter Guests “Very Well”

‘below deck’s 8 worst guests of all-time: from jill zarin to delores the midnight swimmer, ‘below deck mediterranean’ exclusive clip: aesha scott stands up for herself against a rude charter guest.

At long last, Below Deck Sailing Yacht returns for its fifth season on October 7. Captain Glenn Shephard , chief stew Daisy Kelliher , and first mate Gary King are leading the Parsifal III into unchartered waters this season: Ibiza. While fans will miss OG cast member Colin MacRae—whose romance with Kelliher ended very, very badly—there is a new crew of yachties to obsess over this season. Chief engineer Davide Morosi, chef Cloyce Martin, deckhands Keith Allen and Emma Crouch, and stews Diana Cruz and Danni Warren will no doubt be stirring up trouble as they work hard during charters and party hard on their nights off.

The trailer begins on a sad note. Now single, Kelliher returns to the Parsifal III. “Going into this season, I got rid of some dead weight,” Kellier says via voiceover as footage of MacRae and Kelliher canoodling flashes on the screen. “The breakup did a number on me last year, but now, I’m coming back more focused, full of energy.” As she sits triumphantly in her confessional seat, Kelliher says firmly to camera: “I’m fucking good at my job, and I’m taking back the reins.” On cue, the very next scene is Kelliher yelling at King while he lies in his bunk. “I’m not fucking carrying this season on my own, you fucking prick!” The more things change, the more they stay the same.

The trailer then continues to show off its new setting: Ibiza. “Ibiza is known as being the party capital of the world,” says Captain Glenn via voiceover. As guests are shown enjoying themselves, the yacht heels, causing random objects to shatter. Later, the crew gathers for their first meeting. “This is the last time we’ll all be friends so enjoy it,” Kelliher tells the team. “We”ll either fuck each other or fight each other.” “Or both,” replies Captain Glenn cheekily.

A montage of chaos ensues as Kelliher spills a drink, guests boink their heads, and Martin sets off a fire alarm while trying to achieve a fancy, flaming presentation. Morosi is even shown fully nude trying drunkenly to climb into the bed above Captain Glenn’s in their shared cabin. “You all right?” asks Captain Glenn warily. “Nearly,” says Morosi shakily.

While several hookups between the crew are shown—including Kelliher and Martin—and people are shown doing their jobs poorly, the most dramatic part of the trailer involves Captain Glenn’s reading the crew the riot act after giving them permission to party with some guests during a charter. “I set some ground rules, two drinks maximum,” says Captain Glenn as he scolds the crew. “You knew the rules, you broke the fucking rules, and now you’re here getting upset.” Stunned, the group can only look on.

As the trailer ends on a dramatic scene when another yacht is about to crash into the Parsifal III. Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans are left to wonder: could this be the most dramatic season yet? Tune in to Bravo on Monday, October 7 at 9/8c to find out!

Below Deck Couples Still Together

Fred Jagueneau/Bravo(4)

Which ‘Below Deck’ Couples Are Still Together After Finding Romance During Charter Season?

Christina Anstead Dating History

When working side by side with someone 24 hours a day for six to eight weeks straight in cramped conditions, it’s easy to catch feelings ! That’s what’s happened to a number of crew members on the Below Deck franchise, who have fallen for each other while working during charter season. So, which boatmances have stood the test of time, as well as distance?

Whether it’s Below Deck , Below Deck Mediterranean , Below Deck Sailing Yacht or Below Deck Down Under , getting a group of young people from across the globe together who love to work hard and party harder is a recipe for hookup action. And while there have been plenty of frisky physical escapades between crew mates, some have turned into actual couples .

The most recent duo to reveal they were dating after leaving the show was Ben Willoughby and Sunny Marquis , much to the shock of fans.

Ben Willoughby and Sunny Marquis

Bosun Ben ended up in another boatmance in Below Deck season 11. However, he made it clear to lead deckhand Sunny that they were basically a hookup and nothing more. At one point, he even called ex-girlfriend Camille Lamb from season 10 to ask if she wanted to hang out when he returned to Florida after the charter season. When she shot him down, Ben continued to have a passionate physical romance with Sunny, who had fallen hard for her boss, but didn’t want to get emotionally involved. The pair left the St. David together with the intention of seeing where things might go, although viewers were fairly convinced after Ben’s behavior all season that they were just a showmance.

Fans were floored when the day after the season finale aired on May 27, 2024, Ben took to Instagram to reveal the pair were dating and very much together.

“Yes, you guessed it, we are still together! Finally we can let go of the secrecy that has been held for the past 15 months,” he wrote in the caption of a series of photos showing the pair.

“We want to thank you all for the support throughout season 11 @belowdeckbravo. It’s been a rollercoaster to relive the season and the beginning of a relationship. We ended up traveling the globe together last year and Sunny made her way to Australia for Christmas. Anyways, hoping you all enjoyed the season,” Ben added.

Which 'Below Deck' Couples Are Still Together

Mark Rogers/Bravo(2)

Culver Bradbury and Jaimee Neale

The deckhand fell hard for stew Jaimee when she came aboard the Northern Star halfway through  Below Deck Down Under  season 2. Soon they were flirting and making out, and Culver decided he wanted to take things to the next level. He asked Jamie to be his girlfriend via a handwritten card where he professed her feelings for her and had her check off a “yes” or “no” box. Feeling pressured, Jamiee checked “yes” although she thought they were moving too fast after knowing each other for only a few weeks. That night, the pair got their own guest room aboard the boat to be intimate for the first time.

Their romance had the potential of continuing through another charter season, as one of Culver’s former captains inquired about hiring him for the summer Mediterranean season and needed a stew as well, to which the Maryland native recommended his girlfriend. While Jamiee wasn’t sure if she wanted their boatmance to continue aboard another vessel, she agreed, in part because she’d always wanted to work and play in the Med and was willing to have another adventure with Culver.

Jaimee became deeply attracted to handsome new lead deckhand  Luka Brunton  when he arrived to work on the final charters of the season, regretting getting together with Culver so quickly. The pair drunkenly kissed in a bar after the charter season ended, which Jaimee confessed to Culver, claiming she didn’t remember it. The duo left the boat as a couple although their Med offer fell through. Chief stew Aesha Scott revealed during  Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen  following the September 18, 2023, finale that the pair took a month-long road trip along Australia’s Western Coastline but that the couple did not mesh well off the boat and called it quits.

João Franco and Tzarina Mace-Ralph

Chef Tzarina was shocked when João came aboard as the Northern Star’s second officer after bosun Luke Jones was fired during Below Deck Down Under season 2. The pair had known each other for several years, as he hooked up with one of her close friends while she had a fling with one of his pals. “Cheffy” as she was known on the boat didn’t think highly of him after how he treated her friend, but João proved he was a changed man as the two grew close, as he showed off his caring and tender side. While the Zimbabwe native wanted to pursue a boatmance, Tzarina fought back her feelings as to not upset her friend until the September 4, 2023 episode of the show where they finally made out and hooked up.

The pair are no longer together, as João celebrated his one-year dating anniversary on June 12, 2023 with fellow yachtie Domi Tiesi , as they work on the same boat. Domi shared a gushing Instagram post about their life together.

“One year …  I fell for you so quick and so strong, there was no turning back even after the first week and I feel the same way now. I never thought a year can pass by so quickly. If you love every moment of it, it just flies by… we have traveled to over 20 countries, lived in 2 and are now exploring the seas together working side by side. I love you and our adventures and can’t wait for all the years to come,” she wrote.

daisy kelliher colin macrae romance

Fred Jagueneau/Bravo (2)

Daisy Kelliher and Colin MacRae

Season 4 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht found chief engineer Colin without a girlfriend back home for the first time in three seasons. He and chief stew Daisy found themselves drawn into a full-on boatmance.

“I knew Colin was single and there’s kind of always been something between me and Colin. So, in a way I was surprised, but I also wasn’t surprised, if that makes sense,” she told In Touch exclusively ahead of the season premiere.

“There were little moments that we’d like maybe brush hands or look at each other that I don’t think anyone else really picked up on. But I would kind of be like, oh a moment that lasted a little bit longer and it’s like, ‘is this something?’” she explained, adding, “But he always had a girlfriend, so I always just friend zoned in the whole situation and never kind of expected anything more.”

The pair went from making out to sleeping in each other’s bunks in no time flat. But their bliss hit a major roadbump when Daisy revealed that she and first mate Gary King slept together twice after season 3 ended.

“You f–ked Gary?” Colin asked her incredulously, telling her it was “bulls–t” that they secretly hooked up and neither Daisy nor Gary told him before the pair embarked on a relationship.

“The chemistry that they have, the way that they look at each other, I thought it was all friends. It all makes sense now,” an angry Colin said in a confessional.

Gary, who was hooking up with junior stew Mads Herrera during the season, assuring Colin there was nothing going on between him and Daisy, despite the two having playful hugs and kisses. After much consideration, Colin agreed to continue his boatmance with the Dublin native after she assured him there was nothing going on with her longtime crew mate. But things came to a head in the June 19, 2023, episode when she accidentally called Colin “Gary” while the pair were in bed.

He stormed out of the bunk and Daisy later explained to Gary of the love triangle, “There’s two of you in my head. You’re both f–king with my head. I want you out of my head.”

“In regard to worrying about their friendship, I did worry. I definitely didn’t want to break up a friendship or anything like that. That’s the last thing I would’ve wanted. I was kind of expecting Gary to maybe kick off a bit, but not quite to the extent he did,” Daisy explained in her exclusive interview.

While on season 3 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht , Gary hooked up with several different shipmates, including a hot tub makeout session with chief stew Daisy. Despite his several trysts, Gary said he was in love with Daisy. However, despite a moment during the June 2022 reunion episode where they shared an embrace, Daisy set the record straight that they were just friends. She told E! News in February, “Our relationship is very platonic. We care about each other and like I said we’re both affectionate people, so affection can sometimes lead to kissing. But no, we’re just friends.”

During season 4, it was revealed that the two did more than just make out. “Having sex with you was f–king amazing,” Gary confessed after Daisy and chief engineer Colin had embarked on a boatmance, made all the more complicated by the fact that he was Gary’s best friend.

Daisy eventually revealed to Colin that she and Gary hooked up in Menorca, Spain, after season 3 wrapped, and again in California after a trip to Disneyland. It made Colin re-evaluate his romance with Daisy, especially since she and Gary still had a deeply flirtatious relationship. Things were made even worse when Daisy called Colin by Gary’s name while the pair were in bed together.

Gary told In Touch exclusively  ahead of the season that he was shocked by Daisy and his close pal’s romance. “Maybe Colin’s just a better person than I am. Maybe Daisy sees something more in him that she sees in me,” he explained, noting he wasn’t bitter about it.

“The only thing I can do is be supportive. They’re both good friends of mine, but it did come as a massive shock to me,” the South Africa native added.

Love Boats! Which 'Below Deck' Couples Are Still Together?

Ben Willoughby and Camille Lamb

The  Below Deck  season 10 deckhand and the controversial deck/stewardess immediately clicked romantically, making out on the group’s first dinner out and later took their passion to the St. David’s hot tub. By the time the fourth charter rolled around, Ben and Camille had sex in his bunk after a boozy off-duty evening, much to the horror of his roommate, Tony Duarte , who was awake in the bunk below them. Earlier in the evening, Ben confessed that he hadn’t had a relationship in more than two and a half years and was really enjoying being with Camille.

At the time of their hookup, Camille was on the verge of getting fired by Captain Sandy Yawn for her poor attitude and lack of interest in any of her work duties, and ended up getting the boot as Ben was falling hard for her.

The pair kept in touch and made plans to take a vacation together to the Dominican Republic once charter season had ended. The March 20, 2023, season finale saw Ben looking forward to meeting up with Camille again after being tempted by replacement stew Leigh-Ann Smith. He let fans know what happened with their romance once the cameras stopped rolling.

“Dominican Republic was something we both needed to say the least, we genuinely had a spark comparable to that of a primary school crush,” Ben wrote in a March 21  Instagram  post showing video from their getaway. “Sadly, soon after we decided that this wasn’t meant to be and being honest that was a very tough pill to swallow. We are not together anymore in a perfect world it would have been something of a fairytale,” he added. However, Ben cherished the romance they had.

“We both organically fell in love with one another and had many, many memories to share throughout this whole @belowdeckbravo journey,” he continued. “My advice to anyone out there is to follow your heart in any direction is may lead even if you know it may hurt, because that makes you….. you…. At the end of the day! Always with love Ben & Camille.”

Ben Willoughby and Leigh-Ann Smith

After Alissa Humber’s firing, Leigh-Ann joined the St. David interior crew only to find her year-long sexting pal Ben was a crew member aboard the ship. It was the first time the two met in person after months of flirting and sending naked photos to each other. Their chemistry proved to be even more intense in person than online, and Leigh-Ann was determined to make something happen, even though Ben was still in contact with Camille.

The Australia native had a post-charter season trip to the Dominican Republic planned with Camille, but he eventually realized that their romance wouldn’t last long afterwards.

“Part of me’s just like, ‘Live in the moment.’ I haven’t got a title with Camille. Why don’t you just see what happens?” Ben said in a teaser for the March 20 episode. He’s also seen passionately making out with Leigh-Ann and they later head into a guest cabin together and close the door, indicating they hooked up before the season ended.

But it wasn’t meant to be. Despite some kissing and snuggling on their final night together before leaving the St. David for good , Ben admitted he was too crazy about Camille to sleep with Leigh-Ann, much to her disappointment. They went their separate ways and friends and vowed to stay in touch.

The pair still appear to be friendly, as Leigh-Ann shared a photo from a beach outing during the second to last charter with her arm around Ben in a March 6, 2023, Instagram post. “Could you even get a better beach set up crew?” she asked in the caption while tagging Ben and Katie.

Ross McHarg and Katie Glaser

The  Below Deck season 10 bosun and his deckhand had chemistry from the start, kissing after an early beach outing. But Ross’ wandering eye caused him to have an ongoing flirtation with stew Alissa Humber , especially after drinking too much during crew dinners and partying aboard the yacht post-charter.

Ross and Katie eventually had sex in a guest cabin, and he decided to cut off the love triangle with Alissa. “I’ve made an active decision with Katie that her and I are going to be just her and I,” he explained in the February 13, 2023, episode. While the pair enjoyed a fun boatmance, it didn’t continue once the season ended.

Before the final charter of the season, Ross decided their attempt at a relationship wasn’t working, as they had given it “three to four” tries and the pair kept ending up in fights where Katie felt he disrespected her. The two decided to enjoy the short time they had left aboard the St. David before parting ways.

“We both live on opposite sides of the world — he went his way after the show and I went mine,” Floridian Katie told  E! News  of the Asia-based Englishman “At the end of the day we decided that it was what it was on the boat and after the boat we both went our separate ways,” she continued, while adding, “I am single. I’m just enjoying life right now.”

Ross admitted earlier in the season that his longest romance was with  Below Deck  season 8 stew  Elizabeth Frankini . “We were together on and off for four years. I guess we just broke each other’s hearts on multiple occasions in that relationship, which is why I don’t want a relationship at the moment,” he said in a confessional before deciding to commit to Katie.

Storm Smith and Natalya Scudder

Calling her his “kryptonite”, the provisional bosun had a thing for the brunette Australian stewardess on season 7. The two exchanged cheeky banter on their nights out and things only started heating up when the pair spent their evenings sleeping in the same cabin.

“I’ve never had good experiences with boyfriends,” she confessed during a solo confessional with producers in August 2022. “So, I have got trust issues, but with Storm, we’re a little bit romantic.”

While the two shared a steamy romance during the charter season, Storm has seemingly gone Instagram official with a new girlfriend following filming.

“Happy birthday boks,” he shared in a birthday tribute to his new girlfriend in July 2022, alongside loved-up pictures of them on vacation in Lake Como, Italy. “Life is beautiful with ya Chloe.”

Natasha Webb and Dave White

The chief stewardess and chef of Below Deck Mediterranean season 7 find themselves in a sticky situation after they become romantically involved on board. The pair previously worked on a boat together and told the fellow crew they were just “friends” despite sharing clear chemistry.

“On our last boat, me and Tash, we got together,” the chef explained to producers in a July 2022 episode. “Tash asked me to keep it a secret because she was still with her boyfriend, but I’m struggling to keep it a secret.”

However, after a drunk night, Dave decides he can’t keep up with the lie and tells the crew of their past. Not happy with Natasha’s reaction, he sends her heated text messages that almost get him fired.

Following a meeting with Captain Sandy, the two continued to awkwardly cohabitate in their work environment.

In August 2022, Natasha revealed she was in a new relationship when she thanked him for his support following her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen .

“Over half a million of you live viewers watching Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Bravo last Monday, thank you so much to each and everyone one of you for watching us & all your support & beautiful kind messages,” she shared alongside a carousel of photos of her trip to New York for filming. “I want to thank all my family & friends truly for your support throughout this whole journey … to my absolutely amazing supportive boyfriend, Max, big sister & gorgeous Mama & Dad, I wouldn’t be who I am today without you all.”

Malia White and Jake Baker

Though the hunky engineer was only seen onscreen briefly during Below Deck Med season 6, he and bosun Malia clicked. Once filming ended, the pair embarked on a romance that Malia revealed during a September 27, 2021, appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen . She shared that Jake made the first move and that they didn’t become an item until after filming for the season had ended. The couple is still going strong, seen above in an Instagram photo she posted from the Florida Keys on February 13, 2022.

However, by October, it seems things have gotten shaky between Jake and Malia. The Florida native seemingly scrubbed her Instagram of photos of her partner and shared cryptic quotes via her Instagram Story hinting at a possible split.

“Remember the time you confused a life lesson for a soulmate?” one message read, while she added “100%” as a caption. In another slide, she uploaded a photo of her travels, captioning the picture, “Ready for my next chapter.”

Malia confirmed in December 2022 that she and Jake had broken up. The yachtie became the subject of rumors that she was involved with Below Deck Med season six chief stew Katie Flood , as the pair shared numerous photos with each other on their respective Instagram accounts.

Katie addressed the situation in a May 2023, Instagram Q&A when a fan asked if the ladies were dating.

“No. We are best friends that work and live together and have a lot of other amazing opportunities that we get to do together. We are so [lucky] to have each other and get to work towards our goals, dreams and our futures side by side of each other. She’s my work wifey for life,” Katie wrote.

Below Deck Couples

Paget Berry and Ciara Duggan

The first Below Deck crew mate engagement … that is no more!  Paget and Ciara had worked together on yachts for three out of their five years as a couple, but fans got to know the pair on season 1 of  Below Deck Sailing Yacht . First mate Paget proposed to deckhand Ciara on July 9, 2020, with the couple each sharing celebratory photos to their respective Instagram accounts.

There wasn’t a happily ever after though, as Ciara revealed to Us Weekly in April 2021 that the pair had split the prior December, explaining, “I loved him, but I think I was not in love.”

She added that not being in close quarters on a boat with Paget made her see their relationship differently. “There were a lot of reasons that it kind of broke down. Being in France, we weren’t quarantining, we weren’t stuck together or anything like that,” she told the publication. “We were there just kind of living life, but you know, I was taking temporary jobs and I just kind of realized throughout taking those jobs that I was happier on my own for a lot of reasons.”

As for Paget, following his relationship with Ciara, the England native moved on into a new relationship with his girlfriend, Johana Mills. The pair announced their engagement on August 21, 2022.

“I was very lucky myself to meet a ‘Harbor town girl’ last year who showed me the sights and sounds of Newport when I first arrived on a boat,” he wrote alongside a series of loved-up clips of their adventures traveling the world. “There is no one I’d rather laugh, life with, cry, dance, and attempt all sorts of accents with than you Johana, I am so proud of you and all that you are achieving, and I am super stoked to be your fiancé and future husband.”

The pair’s onboard passion was adorable, as Dani mended her broken heart with eight-years younger JL, who admittedly had never been in a real relationship with a woman. Once the charter season ended, Dani found out she was pregnant, which she revealed to fans via Instagram in April 2021 while their season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht was still airing on Bravo!

JL didn’t want to commit to fatherhood until a paternity test was done, which apparently took quite a while to do internationally. He didn’t admit to being the father of Dani’s daughter Lilly Rose until a January 19, 2022, Instagram post. JL pledged that even though he would be away for extended periods at sea while Dani was in Sydney, Australia, raising Lilly, he would do his best to be there “for the sake of our daughter as she needs both parents in her life.”

It was Malia’s boyfriend to the rescue during season 5 of  Below Deck Med  when Captain Sandy Yawn fired her existing chef mid-season. Chef Tom came aboard the Lady Michelle to finish out the charters, with Malia frequently stepping into the gallery to help the easily frazzled cook. His quick temper turned off many other crew members, driving one to tears. The pair remained a couple after the season ended but went to work on separate boats. Tom allegedly cheated on Malia with one of his new shipmates, causing the bosun to break things off.

Aesha Scott and Jack Stirrup Below Deck Couples Where Are They Now

Aesha Scott and Jack Stirrup

One of the sweetest boatmances occurred on Below Deck Med season 4 between second stew Aesha and deckhand Jack. Their flirtation turned into a a full-on romance, with Jack enlisting fellow crew mates to help him pull off a grand gesture in asking Aesha to officially be his girlfriend. She happily accepted, and it seemed as if the two lovebirds would sail off into the sunset to a happy post-season life together.

But once the charter was over, Jack ghosted Aesha. He revealed during the Bravo After Show on October 1, 2019, that when he got home to England, “I thought it was a bit of a forced situation. It wasn’t reality. I thought about it all and called it a day.” Aesha explained on the same show that Jack had asked her to come to London but that he needed to work out dates because he had a wedding to attend. She then saw on his social media that he brought another woman to the event who turned out to be his girlfriend … a girlfriend he had while he was still on the yacht romancing Aesha! After she busted Jack on it, “Next thing I know, I’m blocked off everything and he’s never spoken to me again,” the Kiwi beauty shared.

Jessica More and Rob Westergaard Below Deck Couples Where Are They Now

Rob Westergaard and Jessica More

These two incredibly attractive yachties from season 5 of Below Deck Med ended up in a toxic relationship. Rob quickly told Jess he was in love with her, then began to pull back his affection. The back and forth of passion and coldness wore on the stewardess, leaving her in tears for much of the season. Despite their fights, the pair took a trip to Bali after charter season ended, where it was clear their romance had run its course.

“It didn’t end on the best note, and we’re still not in the best place,” Jess explained during the Bravo After Show  in October 2020. “It just keeps seeming to build, my disappointment for somebody that I really, truly cared about and loved and thought that I was gonna marry and spend the rest of my life with. So, to go from that to just continually finding out things new every single day is something that’s really hard for me and disappointing.”

Elizabeth Frankini and James Hough Below Deck Couples Where Are They Now

The pair’s chemistry was immediate from the start, and their romance led to an infamous night of passion in one of the guest cabins during season 8 of Below Deck . Usage of the room required permission from superiors, with both getting stern warnings from their bosses. But as the season progressed, second stew Elizabeth’s feelings for deckhand James grew stronger, while his seemed to wane. At one point, she only semi-joked that he should propose to her and they should get married.

James continued to pull away, not even give her any sweet acknowledgement when she celebrated her 30th birthday aboard My Seanna. He caught a break when Elizabeth was fired for too many mistakes on the job and had to leave the yacht. However, the following day, the COVID-19 outbreak caused the final two charters of the season to cancel their trips, ending the season for all the crew who scrambled to get back to their home countries from Antigua before lockdowns began.

The deckhand turned season 7 bosun and the stew had a boatmance during season 6 of Below Deck .  The couple even left My Seanna by walking off  the vessel hand in hand into what could have been a potential land romance. But Laura revealed during the show’s reunion that the two had become “dear friends.”

“I’d love to say I was involved with somebody, but I think my wife is still out there somewhere trying to find me,” Ashton told Bravo before the taping, adding, “She’s just taking her time.” He finally found her in Sarah McAlpine, an interior designer from North Carolina, as he announced their engagement on September 27, 2022.

Chef Ben had previous flirtations and one hookup on prior seasons of  Below Deck  before falling for stew and fellow Brit Emily on season 4. They had an actual romance, complete with going on dates while in port. “I felt very close to him very quickly. He was British and he made me laugh, and I do like an older guy,” Emily later revealed on  Life After Bravo  in May 2020. She added, “It was a real relationship for me. It just happened to have been aired on TV.”

After filming ended, Emily moved in with Ben at his Fort Lauderdale, Florida, home. The pair lived together for more than a year, as Emily left yachting and helped Ben at his various cooking events in the U.S. But Emily’s love of her native London eventually caused the pair to break up. “We just grew apart a bit. I was traveling back here. There’s not a lot for him to come back here for. So, we just grew apart,” she said of their split, adding, “We’re still very close now. He’s been a huge crutch and support through everything. I’ll always love him.” Ben is officially off the market as of May 2023, when he announced his engagement to longtime girlfriend  Kiara Cabral . Next to an  Instagram post  of the couple, he wrote, “After a wonderful four-year relationship with my love Kiara I decided to take the next step and propose. ” “I feel like the luckiest man alive! Thank you to my friends and family for all of your support. I couldn’t have done it without you, and obviously thank you to Kiara for saying yes and making an honest man out of me, I love you,” Ben added.

Jenna MacGillivray and Adam Glick Below Deck Couples Where Are They Now

Charles Sykes/Bravo (2)

Jenna MacGillivray and Adam Glick

The chief stew and chef on season 1 of  Below Deck Sailing Yacht  had a passionate romance that cooled for Adam, despite Jenna’s attempt to keep the spark alive by leaving him love notes. By the end of the season, she still held out hope that they would continue their romance after finishing up work on Parsifal III, but Adam thought otherwise. While discussing their post season plans, the cook told her, “I’m gonna get the f—k off this boat, hop in my van, and drive away,” as Jenna began to cry about his view of the future without her in it.

In a May 5, 2020, Instagram post, Jenna seemed to unpack her heartbreak from Adam by writing, “No matter how many times I fall, I get up and get the desire to love again. At times I have absolutely put love and that fairytale above anything else, including myself. I have lost my way, lost what I needed. But I believe we all want and need to be loved, and we need a healthy love that gives equally from both sides.”

Are Any of the 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' Couples Still Together?

Shannon Raphael - Author

Published Feb. 21 2022, 10:31 a.m. ET

The crew members on any Below Deck franchise live and work together in tight quarters as they cater to charter guests on luxury yachts, which means that they tend to form strong romantic connections quickly.

Though the Below Deck spin-off series, Below Deck Sailing Yacht , only debuted in 2020, plenty of stars have flirted, gotten together, and broken up during the show's run.

As viewers prepare to watch Season 3 , which will premiere on Feb. 21, we've rounded up a list of the couples who stole our attention on past seasons of the show.

Are any of them still together after engaging in said boatmances in front of the cameras? Plus, find out what stars Daisy Kelliher and Gary King had to say about their unexpected Season 3 flirtation, and to learn where things stand between them now.

1. Paget Berry and Ciara Duggan (Season 1)

Unlike all of the other couples on this list, Paget and Ciara were already about five years into their relationship when they began appearing on the debut season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht together.

During their time on the show, the duo had to navigate working together on deck, and they had to deal with stew Georgia Grobler's feelings for Paget.

Once the cameras stopped rolling, Ciara and Paget actually got engaged, leading viewers to believe that they would be the first ever pair in the Below Deck franchise to swap vows.

Unfortunately, the yachties broke up in December of 2020, about 10 months after Season 1 premiered on Bravo. They confirmed their split with separate Instagram posts in April of 2021.

Paget is now dating a woman named Johana.

2. Adam Glick and Jenna MacGillivray (Season 1)

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Jenna MacGillivray (@jennathemac)

Viewers first met Chef Adam when he appeared on two seasons of Below Deck Mediterranean — and he got involved in a bit of a messy love triangle with Malia White and Wesley "Wes" Walton.

His romance with Chief Stew Jenna was different from the start on Below Deck Sailing Yacht , and the couple went from flirting in the galley (much to the chagrin of some of their co-stars) to having a full-blown relationship off-the-boat.

After filming wrapped, Jenna and Adam traveled, and they spent the holidays together in 2019. However, by the time the reunion came around, the two were no longer together.

Though they hinted that a reconciliation was a possibility during the reunion, it does not appear as if Jenna and Adam got back together.

Jenna is currently in a relationship with a man named Dave.

3. Dani Soares and Jean-Luc Cerza Lanaux (Season 2)

While they had an adorable relationship on the second season of the Below Deck spin-off, their post-show involvement is one of the most complicated stories in the history of the franchise.

As Season 2 was airing in 2021, rumors began circulating online that Dani was pregnant. The cast member confirmed her pregnancy in April of 2021 and, during the reunion, she shared that JL was the father of her daughter, Lilly Rose.

JL appeared on the reunion separately, and he had a one-on-one discussion with host Andy Cohen. During their chat, JL questioned Dani's claims, and he said that it was difficult for him to take a paternity test because they lived in different parts of the world.

In January of 2022, JL shared on Instagram that a paternity test did confirm that he is the father of Lilly.

"I can't let 2022 go any further without sharing some beautiful news. An international DNA test that was done awhile [sic] ago was no small feat. I'm happy and proud to say Sweet and beautiful Lilly rose is my daughter," he wrote in the caption of his post. "Dani and I have been working and communicating together to the best of our ability; given Dani is a full time mother and worker, and I being gone for extended periods of time not knowing when I will step back on land. This is imperative for the sake of our daughter as she needs both parents in her life."

3. Alli Dore and Gary King (Season 2)

The Bosun may have hooked up with deckhand Sydney Zaruba after the first night out, but he ended up forming more of an emotional connection with stew Alli Dore.

Their boatmance was filled with ups and downs as Alli learned that Gary wasn't being as honest as she wanted him to be — and she later found out that he had a long-term girlfriend before going on the boat.

The two did not stay together beyond the show, and Alli welcomed a son named River George Thompson with her partner, Benny Thompson, in 2021.

4. Gary King and Daisy Kelliher (Season 3)

While Gary insisted that he would not get involved in another complicated romantic situation in the Season 3 trailer, he's back in another love triangle with Ashley Marti and his fellow Season 2 co-star, Daisy Kelliher.

Though viewers have yet to see their dynamic play out on Season 3 (the two were just friends and sometimes enemies on Season 2), they've already confirmed that they are platonic now.

"It's a complicated friendship. I don't think we're more than just friends," Daisy told E! News . "We're very affectionate people and we're very affectionate towards each other and care a lot about each other and we've been through a lot over the last two years. I just think that just got a bit blurred."

Many deckhands and stews have co-mingled on Parsifal III over the years, but none of the boatmances have lasted. Will this change in Season 3? You'll have to tune in to find out.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht airs on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo, and you can also stream the series on Peacock.

‘Below Deck Sailing Yacht’ Is Returning for Season 5 After Gary King’s Sexual Misconduct Scandal

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Is Returning for Season 5 After Gary King Scandal

Below Deck Sailing Yacht is coming back for season 5 after Gary King’s sexual misconduct scandal.

Bravo announced on Monday, September 16, that the next season reunites Captain Glenn Shephard , chief stew Daisy Kelliher and Gary as they spend their charter season in Ibiza. The rest of the cast includes chef Cloyce Martin , chef engineer Davide Morosi , stews Diana Cruz , Danni Warren and deckhands Keith Allen and Emma Crouch .

The upcoming installment comes more than one year after Below Deck Sailing Yacht wrapped up its fourth season on Bravo in July 2023.

Gary’s future as a cast member has been up in the air, however, since a production assistant from the show accused him of making unwanted advances while filming season 4.

In a Rolling Stone exposé, which was published in October 2023, Samantha Suarez and other former employees, who asked to remain anonymous, accused Bravo of allegedly helping cover up Gary’s inappropriate behavior.

“It was insane. There were multiple incidents of sexual harassment in front of multiple producers after this person had been given verbal warnings multiple times,” one of the accusers alleged. “I had to promote and make this guy who just assaulted someone look awesome. That was my job, to make this person look cool, capable and exciting.”

Samantha recalled being asked to look after Gary when he allegedly got drunk. Once filming wrapped, Samantha remained with Gary in his hotel room before he tried to stop her from leaving by pressing himself against her. Samantha alleged that Gary refused to let her leave until she started to fight back.

According to Samantha, she alerted producers about the incident , who told Gary to sleep on the boat on days when the crew wasn’t filming as a way to keep him out of the hotel.

Bravo addressed the allegations in a statement to Rolling Stone , saying, “Bravo is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful workplace for cast and crew on our reality shows. We require our third-party production companies to have appropriate workplace policies and trainings in place and a clear process on how to report concerns. The concerns Ms. Suarez raised in July 2022 were investigated at that time and action was taken based on the findings.”

Gary has maintained his innocence since news broke about the claim. “I know [that I did nothing wrong], and I know the truth but it still hurts when people will tell lies to bring you down,” he replied to a fan via Instagram one month later.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Exes Daisy Kelliher and Gary King Have Explosive Reunion in Season 5 Trailer

Below deck sailing yacht 's daisy kelliher confronts "pr--k" gary king following their failed boatmance in e news' exclusive first look at season five. plus, meet the new yachties..

Below Deck Sailing Yacht 's new season will be anything but smooth sailing.

That's because returning costars Daisy Kelliher and Gary King are anything but friendly after their failed boatmance in E! News' exclusive first look at the Bravo series' fifth season.

Following Daisy, Gary and BDSY alum Colin MacRae 's messy love triangle , Daisy is still reeling from the complicated and dramatic fallout from last season.

"Going into this season, I got rid of some dead weight," the newly single Chief Stew says in the trailer. "The breakup did a number on me last year. I felt very broken. But now, I'm coming back in more focused, full of energy and I'm f--king good at my job. And I'm taking back the reigns."

Despite her initial confidence about returning to the Parsifal III , Daisy adds, "It's gonna be a s--t show."

Cut to the Ireland native yelling at Gary, "Guess what? We have a f--king job to do and I'm not f--king carrying this season on my own, you f--king pr--k!"

But luckily for Daisy, the preview teases her quickly moving on with new Deckhand Keith Allen , who tells Gary, "Daisy would make a very good wife. No?"

As for Gary's response, he bursts out laughing at the crewmember's declaration.

However, Daisy feels the same about Keith and tells him, "You're the kind of person I've never met before."

And when it comes to this season's charter guests, the yachties have too much of a good time with one group on shore.

After a night out, Captain Glenn Shephard warns the team, "You guys went out with some guests, I set some ground rules. Two drinks maximum. You knew the rules, you broke the f--king rules, and now you're here getting upset."

Check out the trailer above for a preview of all the drama to come. And keep reading to meet new yachties Chef Cloyce Martin , Chief Engineer Davide Morosi , Stews Diana Cruz and Danni Warren and Deckhand Emma Crouch .

Below Deck Sailing Yacht premieres Monday, Oct. 7, at 9 p.m.   on Bravo. Episodes will be available to stream next day on Peacock.

Captain Glenn Shephard

Capt. Glenn and his expert crew set sail on Parsifal III to the luxury party capital of the world, Ibiza. While Ibiza is known for its sunny day parties and crystal-clear coast, it’s stormy waters ahead for the crew as they navigate blossoming boatmances, competitive co-workers and tense personal dynamics, all while trying to raise the bar every charter.

Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher

After a distracting love triangle last season that took her focus away from work, Daisy is ready to take the reins back in the interior department with a new sense of energy and determination. However, plans for a stress-free charter season are threatened when her stews question her leadership.

First Mate Gary King

On deck, Gary attempts to keep his team motivated as one crew member struggles to learn the ropes.

Chef Cloyce Martin

In the galley, Chef Cloyce charms the crew and guests but at only 22, he may be too inexperienced to meet the demands of the high-maintenance charter guests.

Deckhand Keith Allen

Stew Diana Cruz

Deckhand Emma Crouch

Stew Danni Warren

Chief Engineer Davide Morosi

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 cast: Meet Captain Glenn’s new and returning crew members

Captain Glenn on Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5

Captain Glenn Shephard will be back on the small screen soon for Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5.

After a delay and a slew of fan speculation, Season 5 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht finally received a premiere date and a trailer.

However, in true Below Deck fashion, a couple of alums make up Captain Glenn’s latest crew, but a fan favorite is missing.

Colin MacRae isn’t returning as Chief Engineer after a turbulent Season 4 that fractured his friendships with Gary King and Daisy Kellier.

The three helped revamp the sailing show after a lackluster Season 1, making it a hit along with Captain Glenn. Colin will undoubtedly be missed.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht stars Daisy Kelliher and Gary King are back

Two people needing no introduction are Gary and Daisy, who are each back for their fourth season on Below Deck Sailing Yacht.

Last summer, photos of Gary and Daisy filming Season 5 were leaked; honestly, we weren’t surprised to see them in the mix. Despite their friction, which amps up for Season 5, Daisy and Gary make good television.

Gary was featured much less in the trailer than in previous seasons, and that likely has to do with the sexual misconduct allegations that came out after Season 5 was filmed. Recently, Gary shared an update about his accuser as he continues to proclaim his innocence.

Who are Captain Glenn Shephard’s new Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 crew members?

Chef Cloyce Martin takes over the galley, and at 22, his age will play a huge factor in the season. We already see him clash with Daisy in the trailer.

Davide Morosi takes over Colin’s chief engineer role, and he seems to be pretty private, with little to no activity on social media.

Stew Diana Cruz declares herself “an organized mess” who has caught the acting and yachting bug.

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Diana Cruz (@dianacruzc_)

Danni Warren rounds out the interior crew. She has a connection with Below Deck Med’s Bri Muller and seems to want to be in the social media influencer game, too.

Deckhand Keith Allen catches Daisy’s eye on Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5. Keith isn’t just a sailing yachtie but a photographer and diver who loves to travel.

Emma Crouch makes up the rest of Gary’s deck team. She’s all about being a yachtie, including helping others get into the business as a trainer with Paper Boat Yachting Academy.

That’s a brief preview of the Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 cast. Fans will have to turn in to find out more about Captain Glenn’s crew, especially to learn how Daisy and Gary work together after their Season 4 fallout.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 premieres on Monday, October 7 at 9/8c on Bravo. Seasons 1-4 are streaming on Peacock.

Below Deck Med’s soul-sucking boat drifts toward its finale

Two people talk; one holds duct tape and shiny fabric and has a horrified look on her face

comment icon Join the discussion

It’s the last charter on Below Deck Mediterranean season 9: yes, we’re on the penultimate episode, also known as the episode where absolutely nothing happens because the editors are saving everything good for next week’s finale.

With Below Deck Med ending, Bravo just announced the next in the franchise: Below Deck Sailing Yacht will return. Bravo’s press release mentions the return of Captain Glenn, Daisy, and Gary (ugh), though the preview that ran during the commercials excluded Gary entirely. Is that because of what reportedly happened during season four ?

Alas, Gary is in this extended trailer . I just don’t know if I can take a season of that fucking guy, so I hope it minimizes him and/or he falls overboard and has to swim to shore, because the rest looks fun, from a naked person falling on Glenn to Drag Race alum Detox on board as a guest. That starts Oct. 7.

Today, we’re starting the last charter, with guest Stacey Jennings his husband Brad Driver, who you may remember from Below Deck Down Under . I barely did; I barely will. Is it too much to ask for some drunk guests to throw a chair in the water or something?

First, though, Gael recovers from her breakdown about Nathan planning to have Joe visit him. “I’m okay. I just had a moment of weakness,” Gael said, trying to smile so hard I thought her head might actually pop.

“Go and have cuddles,” Aesha said, putting Gael in Nathan’s bed. Nathan asked her what’s wrong and she said “nothing.” Ah, communication. This relationship is going to last, what, one or two days beyond this season?

Later, Gael told Nathan, “I still don’t really know you,” and he said “shut up.”

Nathan said, “I love you more and more,” and Gael said, “Okay, just show it.” Then Joe came in and Nathan crawled down in his bunk and showed Gael how much he loves her.

Meanwhile, Joe is still salivating over Carrie, but says, “I don’t even want to go there.” Nathan told us that is “utter bullshit” and said “that is what he does.” Yep, your bro is a fuckboy.

In real love news, Captain Sandy’s girlfriend is on the way to visit and either get engaged or reject Captain Sandy on national TV. Aesha is producing this event, and shares that they all live in Colorado together, hang out, and compare poop, or at least I assume they would if Aesha had her way.

A person talks to another person on a mobile phone

For this Sandy wants just a simple, casual moment, like a flower-lined dock leading to a table where there’s a violinist and “peach tea in a champagne glass,” and all of that has to be flawless. “I just want it to be perfect,” she says, “absolutely perfect.”

Well, okay then, as long as you don’t set impossibly high standards for one five-minute period in your life that will be orchestrated in part by your crew of incompetent dummies. (A preview for next week shows Joe getting a line wrapped up in the tender’s propeller, so that’s exciting.)

Sandy is worried about her mortal enemy, wind. “I hope the weather’s going to be great,” she says.

In the funniest moment, Sandy asks Aesha if she thinks Leah will know what’s happening. Aesha’s like, um, yeah, once she sees the fact that you’ve stage managed the dock so much it looks like a Bachelorette finale.

She’ll probably also know because Sandy is basically spoiling it: “I have a special treat for you tomorrow,” Sandy says, and her girlfriend said, “You and your surprises.” I expected Sandy to be like, You’ll never guess what it is! Definitely not a proposal!! What is your ring size?

The episode’s major drama, if you can call it that, involves Ellie, who’s still quite insecure about Carrie’s presence on the boat. She’s constantly seeking reassurance from Aesha (DO WE DROP CARRIE OFF AT DOCK AND LEAVE HER NOW?) and micromanaging the other stews (PUT BALLOON THERE YOU STUPID COW!).

During their stew meeting, there’s a fleeting moment when Aesha praises Bri for the laundry, which has miraculously not been delivered to the crew of Below Deck Sailing Yacht , and then praised Ellie’s table decorations, and says, “you’re nailing it.”

But then Aesha shares that Carrie is much faster at all the tasks, and Ellie’s face sinks and I think she may have tried to dig her eyes out with her fingers:

A person puts their finger in their eye

Aesha’s so over Ellie that she’s being overtly hostile, which for Aesha equals sarcasm. Ellie is in her cabin when provisions arrive, and when she finally arrives on Deck, Aesha says, “Oh, thanks for coming up right at the end. We finished.”

Ellie tries to help Bri in cabins, and Aesha is like, “No. Just do what I’ve said.” Then she notices Ellie hasn’t wiped down the walls, and calls for Ellie because “there’s finger marks everywhere,” probably from Joe trying to hit on the wood paneling.

But Ellie is dancing in the crew mess and having fun—which, honestly, it’s nice to see Ellie not trying to destroy everyone with laser eyes, but also Aesha is pissed that Ellie’s ignoring her.

Carrie doesn’t mind Ellie bossing her around, noting that it’s “nice to not have a lot of responsibility” after her last job, when “I went from chief stew to caregiver” when the boat’s owner’s wife died. Yikes.

The guests arrive and Iain, awake from a nap, does the shocker and yells “it’s the last charter,” and I was embarrassed for him and everyone in that interview room.

Iain does manage to get the boat out of the dock without ramming it into another boat, prompting one of the gaggle of gays to say “they pulled out clean.” That’s about the level of entertainment these guests bring: gay sex jokes.

Down in the galley, Jono is thrilled for “a group of guests that are all queer” because “I haven’t met many gay or Black people in the industry,” and he makes a valid point about diversity in yachting that I ignored because I was too busy trying to make a joke out of “I haven’t met many…” …other chefs? YouTube recipes that weren’t from someone’s grandma? charter guests who I haven’t killed?

Jono wants to “make sure they’re extra happy,” and thus plans on, and I quote, “flavor flavor okurrr.”

For an example of how much the editors stretched to fill this episode and save the actual content for next week’s finale, they included this actual exchange:

Sandy: “How’s it going?” Jono: “Wonderfully. How are you?” Sandy: “Good.”

Ellie is confused about why the guests want a party themed to “Swedish pop music. We’re in Greece.” But ultimately she doesn’t care, because, as she says, “Table decor at this point is the only thing bringing me any sort of joy on this soul-sucking boat.”

Below deck, Nathan’s in tighty whities showing off his penis to the world while trying to get into costume. Gael asks, “How’s anyone fit this?” She’s apparently talking about the costume, a leotard that seems designed for a child, because it fits about up to Nathan’s mid-torso. Aesha sees him and says, “Well-done. That’s quite large.”

In a joint bro interview, Joe called it “very questionable” and Nathan said, “when me granddad sees me in that, I’ll lose me surname.”

In Iain news, he put the Progress Pride flag up , and hung it correctly. He also asks to go on the excursion to Posideon’s Temple with the guests. Sandy agrees, probably because having her bosun off the boat is safer than having him on it.

Aesha decided to send Bri as a reward for not putting all of their clothes in the trash, or trying to wash their laundry using champagne. Bri was so thrilled that she hugged Aesha through tears.

A person points while other people listen

Iain told us that, “in my role, I find I’m sometimes more behind the scenes, making everything run,” which must be what he’s doing in bed all the time.

“I’ve always been an entertainment kind of person,” he says, and that comes in the form of facts about temple he shares with the guests. Hilariously, Bri tells us, “Iain and I really aren’t the best entertainers on the boat.” Oh, you’re entertaining, just for your incompetence.

Oh, I kid Bri and Iain. Seriously, Iain seems—pretty great with the guests? He’s laughing, they’re having fun, he has facts, they seem interested. I mean, this is just a few moments of screen time, but maybe he’s in the wrong job? The same might be true for Bri, too. She offers the guests ice water instead of, say, motor oil. Impressive!

The trip seems fine and the guests seem happy and there’s just nothing happening. Back on board, Sandy tells Iain, “go and get the drag queens,” and he says, “Joe and Gael will go,” because of course he’ll have others do the work. Joe is somehow not a monstrous dick to Gael on the boat ride, and Gael wonders why he can’t be like that all the time.

Aesha asks Carrie about Ellie, who says, “If I had to do a whole season like this, I’d be really struggling to bite my tongue.” Aesha finally snaps when Ellie starts clearing the table without radioing, I think, and then it’s time for the big confrontation!

“I feel like you have been overstepping as the second,” Aesha tells Ellie, the line we’ve already heard in the preview for the episode and the teasers during the breaks. “The job as the second is to delegate when I’m not around.”

But wait: the credits are starting. What?! “I would never disrespect you like that,” Ellie says, and instead of Aesha, say, firing her, we get a flashback to all of Ellie’s bad second stew behavior, like when she screamed at Bri, “SINCE YOU DON’T KNOW HOW BOATS WORK SECOND STEW OUTRANKS YOU.”

The preview for the finale shows Ellie saying, “Fuck that. I’m not taking shit.” But based on how this season has gone, I’d guess that Ellie does, in fact, not receive any actual shit. But a firing in the finale would certainly be dramatic!

Here’s What the Cast of Below Deck Sailing Yacht Is Currently Up to Now

Are Jenna and Adam still together?

below deck sailing yacht season 1

After the massive success of Below Deck and its spinoff Below Deck Med , Bravo decided to test the waters on a new iteration of its hit series earlier this year. That's where Below Deck: Sailing Yacht came in, taking place on a luxury sailing boat, the Parsifal III, adrift in the Ionian Sea.

From a spontaneous proposal failing spectacularly to a joke about being breastfed as an adult, Sailing Yacht was as much a dramatic success as the other franchises. It also left fans wondering about what's happening to the crew since the show wrapped. Did chief stew Jenna and chef Adam stay together? What's going on with Georgia's music? And most important—is Captain Glenn really as cool as we think he is?

Here's what the cast of Below Deck: Sailing Yacht is up to now:

Jenna MacGillivray

When the Canadian stepped onto the Parsifal III, fans got exactly what they hoped for in a chief stew—a no-nonsense leader who also had a romantic spot in her heart for the chef in the galley. Though her relationship with Adam Glick proved to be tumultuous, the two dated for some time after the season wrapped, even taking some time to road-trip together.

These days, Jenna is enjoying some time off from yachting, but given her recent IG pics, she's excited to come back to another charter season.

Madison Stalker

Wherever Madison went, drama always seemed to follow the second stew during season one of Below Deck: Sailing Yacht . In between epic meltdowns (including a major one between her and Jenna over her lack of enthusiasm for her job), she left the boat a better person and leaving fans ready to see more from their new favorite cast member.

Judging by her Instagram account, she's taken a break from yachting (perhaps until next season of the show).

Georgia Grobler

As good of a third stew Georgia was on deck, fans were more invested in her budding music career and growing feelings for a very taken Paget. She proved she was great at her job and could make a career out of yachting.

While it's unclear whether she stayed in the yachting industry post- Sailing Yacht , Georgia's working on music, premiering new music videos on IGTV during the quarantine.

Below Deck Med fans were so excited when Adam joined the crew as the chef for Sailing Yacht . While he abided by the preference sheets this time around, he also began a rocky romance with chief stew Jenna, making most of the crew members wonder if he was there for his job or the girl.

Since the show wrapped, Adam's busy onshore, cooking, and traveling with his adorable puppy. Oh, and Adam has a web series, Stoked , where he travels across the country to meet with local chefs and learn about their regions... all while over a campfire.

Paget Berry and Ciara Duggan

If there was any couple to root for from the entire Below Deck franchise, it's Paget and Ciara. The duo made a great team on deck, and mostly kept their relationship to a minimum on cameras—a first for Bravo! As they were the most familiar with the Parsifal III, the couple was the most reliable, and fans loved seeing their relationship continue blossoming post-filming.

These days, the couple has a lot to be excited about—they're now engaged. While they're soaking up their romantic bliss, they're also still working in yachting, although it's sadly on separate boats.

Byron Hissey

As the chief engineer of Parsifal III, Byron was clearly there to just do his job. But, given how he was the only cast member to have a wife and child back home, he also became the dad of the group, taking care of the other crew members.

Since filming wrapped, it looks like Byron is back on a boat doing exactly what he does best—fixing and making sure the engines run smoothly.

Parker McCown

Relatively new to the yachting industry, fans are more likely to remember the deckhand for his enraged rant about being breastfed by his mother. While he didn't necessarily have all the skills to make it as a deckhand, he definitely had a soft spot for his ex-girlfriend Kaiti, whom he eventually left Parsifal III to go back to at home.

It looks like the decision to leave the show worked out for Parker, as he's now engaged to Kaiti and writing some tunes while onshore.

Chris Miller

As Parker's replacement for the latter half of the season, Chris proved a great deckhand and an asset to the team, all while battling an injury.

These days, Chris seems to be taking some time off from yachting to travel across Europe.

Captain Glenn Sheppard

Captain Glenn was tough, fair, and not afraid to have a good time, which both crew and guests very much appreciated.

Thankfully, his reality TV experience hasn't turned him off yachting forever. Glenn is still the captain for Parsifal III and traveling through the Mediterranean.

Below Deck: Signs Fraser Olender Is A Producer Plant

Jensen ackles' 4 upcoming movies & tv shows, 10 actors whose best movie was a box office flop.

The reality TV franchise Below Deck is set on a luxury yacht, with a crew expected to provide demanding and obscenely wealthy guests with everything they ask for during their short stints at sea. Viewers also watch the crew members cut loose and relax between sailings. The best Below Deck seasons include a balance of smooth sailing and drama. Nowadays, the series has multiple spinoffs, which follow the same theme, with just as many fun (but sometimes troubling) guests.

After dealing with guests, the crew must find time to relax before the next charter. From drunken, boorish behavior to guests who make impossible requests (and some who don’t know how to take no for an answer), the Below Deck franchise shows that working on a luxury yacht is not exactly a dream job . While guests' antics don't come close to the most shocking Below Deck moments , they can definitely cause a stir.

12 Chelsea and Michael Gonella

Below deck (season 9, episode 9).

Chelsea and Michael incurred problems before even boarding the ship. On season 9 of Below Deck , Chelsea was introduced to the crew as a passenger still recovering from oral surgery. Chelsea had recently injured herself from a bicycle accident and arrived with her jaw wired shut. While many fans initially empathized with the woman, her attitude and entitlement put many audience members off .

During her time with the crew, Chelsea insisted that every course would be blended and then strained to her liking. This included seafood. Rather than settling for blended smoothie alternatives, Chelsea opted to have her oysters and lobsters blended for her. Fans crowded to Reddit to share their disgust with the liquidized concoctions and her overall demeanor. Several claim to have undergone the same procedure but stated that they would have never thrown the same tantrum over meals.

Below Deck (Season 8, Episode 11)

In season 8, a guest named Delores had far too much to drink after a day on the water and was very tired when dinner ended. However, instead of calling it a night, Delores kept the party going by attempting a late-night swim. Delores’ friends (and the crew) warned her that she wasn't allowed to swim in the ocean at night, as it was a safety hazard.

Captain Lee Rosbach stepped in and warned her that he'd send her home if she jumped in the water. To spite them all, Delores ignored everyone and dove into the ocean. In the process, Dolores managed to put herself at risk while ruining the experience of everyone around her. The following day, Captain Lee sent Delores packing. However, she proceeded to jump off the mini boat to shore . Dramatic times like this make Below Deck one of the best reality shows .

Below Deck (Season 7, Episode 3)

A season 7 episode nearly ended in disaster after one of the guests had far too much to drink on Below Deck . Charter guest Brandy seemed to have already had a few drinks when she boarded the yacht, and when the group later went ashore for a picnic, the crew became so concerned about her well being that they took her back to the ship for medical treatment . Meanwhile, the group that accompanied Brandi on the trip seemed to be more worried about the inconvenience her drunkenness would cause them.

It was a moment that separated Below Deck from other reality TV shows because of how dangerous the situation could have been. There are plenty of scripted scenes on Below Deck, but this situation was not one of them. Like Delores, Brandy was a demanding charter guest because of her negligence and stress-inducing behavior.

9 Nichelle Gainey And Areca Whatmore

Below deck mediterranean (season 3, episode 2).

Friends Nichelle Gainey and Areca Whatmore made quite an impression on the crew when they boarded the Talisman Maiton on Below Deck Mediterranean. Perhaps the two women were not used to the finer things in life, but their outraged reaction to being served pasta in bowls instead of plates was just the start of their confrontations with the crew. They even escalated their complaints to Captain Sandy, who had more important things to worry about than whether someone’s wine glass was empty or the dish their pasta was served in.

Following the bowl fiasco and several aggressive complaints hurled at the crew members, stewardess Hannah was forced to apologize to the group. After begrudgingly accepting Hannah's apology, the group continued to make the next dinner as unbearable as possible. Captain Sandy sat in on this dinner to ensure their satisfaction. The women were served lobster, and a guest, who expressed dislike for shellfish, complained when she was served duck instead. The captain, who is quick to defend guests, did the unthinkable: she came to the rescue of Hannah, proving that Hannah was not at fault.

8 Steve Bradley

Below deck (season 3, episode 1).

Steve Bradley was one of a handful of guests who made two appearances on Below Deck , first in season 3 when he demanded that the crew throw him and his friends a foam party, and again in season 6 when he continued to make outrageous demands of the team , who found it challenging to deal with his rowdy behavior. While the crew, tending to his every need, may have suffered from his visit, audiences couldn’t help but laugh at his constant state of insobriety and raucous personality.

Steve even insisted, after discovering that Aerosmith was in the area, that the crew track him down. There didn’t seem to be an afterthought after blurting out this request. Unfortunately, he was also one of the series' most flirty guests, which always results in a problematic charter. While he wasn’t the worst Below Deck guest, he was undoubtedly one of the most demanding and unpredictable clients Captain Lee and his team had to deal with.

7 The Florida State Alumni Crew

Below deck (season 7, episode 7).

In season 7, friends who met at Florida State in their younger years hopped on the yacht for pirate-themed nights and to relive their college days. The friends proceeded to make the crew members’ lives as difficult as possible with inappropriate comments and absurd demands. The few members of the group were so obnoxious and rude to the crew that stewardess Kate commented:

"Anybody who is still talking about college peaked in college, and that's embarrassing."

Unfortunately, the charter guest, Michael, was inappropriate from the start. He began flirting with stewardess Simone and continued making advances towards her, regardless of how uncomfortable she was. Kate Chastain eventually stepped in and put Simone below deck to get her out of an unpleasant situation she should have never been in. The guest’s behavior crossed a line, taking a college reunion from a fun trip to a situation bordering on harassment. The uncomfortable dynamics make him one of the worst.

6 Charley Walters

Below deck (season 8, episode 14).

Demanding guest Charley Walters had a penchant for making the male crew members dress up in tiny Speedos while serving dinner and drinks. Charlie even had the chef running around in circles trying to meet all his exacting demands. By his third appearance, Charley had gotten accustomed to the chief stewardess, Kate Chastain, and her ability to bend to his will. Unfortunately for chef Francesca Rubi, this was her first time on the boat and his demands were all too much. The same was true for all other crew members outside Captain Lee and bosun Eddie Lucas.

Tensions rose so high that new chef Rachel was brought to tears by the problematic guest. Walters later claimed on social media that producers told him to be over the top. Many fans have difficulty shifting the blame to the producers. A guest needs to perform outrageous acts for the footage to exist. A fine line exists between entertaining and being so demanding that professionals have difficulty doing their jobs.

5 Simon Tusha

Below deck (season 1, episode 4).

Simon Tusha, the owner of the company that provided the luxury yachts for the Below Deck series, was featured as a guest in season 1, and his behavior went down like a lead balloon with the crew. Unsurprisingly, when he arrived, he maintained an air of superiority over those around him. Taking advantage of his position and monetary success, he crossed boundaries by making inappropriate comments to female crew members and being rude to Kate.

Worst of all, chief stewardess Adrienne Gang refused to support her crew, insisting they had to get used to Simon’s sense of humor. According to The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette , after the episode aired, Tusha was sentenced to 21 months in jail for his part in a bribery case. His entire persona on deck matched what was said about him in court, making him one of the show’s more controversial guests.

4 Charles Yim

Below deck (season 6, episode 5).

According to Cheat Sheet , Below Deck guest Charles Yim claimed the show made his stay on the yacht look worse than it was. Yim and his guests certainly made the most of their time on the My Seanna , and perhaps the most shocking moment was when the crew found a used condom in the living area .

Charles, the inventor of the Breathometer, had an incredibly negative reaction to the episode and claimed that the condom was planted. He believes the show fabricated scenes because he and his group were “ too boring .” He also went out of his way to complain about several crew members including second stew Josiah Carter and chief stew Kate Chastain. Regarding the condom, the entrepreneur heavily implied that the crew member who found it, Caroline, was not invited to return for the next season. The charter was overall an awkward experience for everyone involved.

3 Erica Rose and Charles Sanders

Below deck (season 3, episode 4).

When former Bachelor star Erica Rose first appeared on Below Deck during season 2, she was initially criticized for her unruly and aggressive guests. When returning with her husband Charles Sanders, audiences were shocked by their treatment of staff and their meager tip . Surprisingly, Charles Sanders proved to be the most troublesome guest. Charles proceeded to complain about the food calling it “ gross ” and redirected his hate at a fellow guest Janelle, calling her a “ b**** .”

After causing copious drama and exhausting the crew, Erica Rose left the staff a minuscule tip . Many fans point out that Rose’s tip was the smallest in the show’s history. In an interview with RealityBlurb , Erica was quick to defend her and her husband’s actions. She claimed that while she has been in the public eye, her husband did not know how to ask appropriately. Erica indicated that the show pushed the couple to amp up the drama and that her husband was simply trying to entertain. Many viewers rejected her vague apology with overwhelmingly negative comments.

2 Krystal Murphy

Below deck (season 6, episode 15).

Cyndi Lauper sang, "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun , " but investment banker Krystal Murphy and her friends said girls want copious amounts of alcohol and fistfights with each other. After over-indulging in cocktails and wine, the primary charter guest fell asleep at the dinner table before punching one of her friends in the face . Following an alcohol-induced collapse, Krystal was wrapped in a blanket that chief stewardess Kate Chastain fondly referred to as her “ shame cocoon ” and then awakened by a friend. She proceeded to attack this friend and proceed the next morning as if nothing had happened.

She made outrageous demands throughout the trip, leading one of Below Deck 's best chief stews , Kate, to label her a “ spoiled brat. ” Since the show aired, she has remained private on social media. While public backlash has been heavy, Krystal has yet to make a statement regarding her less-than-favorable portrayal. She will undoubtedly go down in history as one of the most obnoxious Below Deck guests ever.

1 Timothy Sykes

Below deck (season 2, episode 10).

According to Cheat Sheet , when Captain Lee was asked about the worst Below Desk guest, he didn’t hesitate with his answer: Timothy Sykes, the entrepreneur with a much younger girlfriend who spent the whole trip complaining that there was no Wi-Fi and that the kitchen crew was ignoring all their particular food requests.

To make things worse, Timothy handed over a $17,000 tip at the end of the trip but then asked Captain Lee to give him back $5,000 because his girlfriend didn’t like the food. His girlfriend looked visibly embarrassed by this indiscretion. Most fans who have worked in customer service recoiled at the awkwardness of this scene. In the service industry, there's nothing worse than having to give money back to a guest. For this reason, Sykes takes the cake as the worst guest in Below Deck history.
