74m Amels 242 M&EM Delivered to Owner

Leading Dutch shipyard Amels has announced that the 74m superyacht ‘M&EM’ from the successful Amels 242 series has been delivered to her new owner.
Stemming from the popular Amels 242 design, this brand-new 74m delivery marks yet another triumph for the Amels Limited Editions, as the seventh yacht from the bespoke 242 series.
Featuring an unmistakable exterior design from yachting design legend Tim Heywood, M&EM, previously known as Amels 24207, is a stunning addition to the Amels fleet. Adorned with a unique glossy blue hull, white superstructure and sweeping large glass windows, the new 74m is a truly stand-out vessel, first revealed to the world at her launch earlier this year.
Damen Yachting completed the naval architecture for M&EM, and, like all Amels Limited Editions, has ensured that the new yacht has been designed to deliver ‘ocean-going performance’, alongside an, ‘excellent onboard experience’. M&EM features several of the latest Amels innovations and exceptional features including a dedicated owners deck with a forward-facing stateroom providing incredible views during cruising. A large swimming pool at the aft deck, a foredeck jacuzzi and an increased capacity helicopter deck are also fitted onboard. M&EM is also equipped with the latest IMO Tier III clean emissions power and propulsion package.
Inside, M&EM boasts custom interiors by renowned British interior design studio Winch Design ; completing the impressive design team. The owner was represented throughout the build process by Imperial.
A gross tonnage of 1,790, allows this Amels 242 to accommodate 12 guests in six luxurious cabins, alongside 19 crew plus Captain.

This spectacular super yacht features a raft of outdoor spaces to enjoy time with friends and family. On the main deck, the space is filled with a variety of couches, sun loungers and convenient coffee tables, making this the ideal spot to relax in the sun.
If salt water is more your thing, simply head down to the swimming platform below via either port or starboard stairwells to gain easy access to the sea and water toys.
Above on the middle deck is the main outdoors dining area. This space is sheltered by the deck overhand above, providing guests with a comfortable place for al fresco dining.
The spacious upper deck above features a hot tub, with a variety of couches, loungers and tables. This area’s elevated position provides incredible views of the surrounding area.
Amidships on the main deck is an incredible 75 square-metre wellness centre. The centre can be configured to include a variety of wellness and relaxation options, including jacuzzi, hammam, sauna with outside window, gym, massage or beauty, shower and day head, inboard wet space, with a sofa and juice bar.
As well as the wellness centre, the main deck also features beautiful living and dining areas, with glass windbreakers ensuring uninterrupted ocean views.

Above the main deck is the fabulous Owner’s Deck. This dedicated deck holds the Owner’s suite forward, an amidships office and lounge area, which flows through to the aft deck outdoors dining space.
She can reach a top speed of 16.5 knots, and has a nautical range of 5,000 miles at 12.5 knots.
Yacht Accommodation
The accommodation is for 12 guests across 6 cabins, which consist of: 1 Owner’s suite, 2 VIP cabins, and 3 double cabins which can be configured as either double or twins. The luxurious Owner’s suite resides forward of the dedicated Owner’s deck. The suite features king-sized bed, his and hers ensuites and dressing area, and tasteful décor throughout. Amidships is an office area and lounge, which connect to the aft deck and dining area. Below on the main deck are two generously sized VIP cabins, and on the lower deck are the remaining 3 cabins. An experienced crew of 19 will provide guests with a five star experience during their stay.

At 242ft, the luxury vessel made waves as it entered Poole Harbour on Saturday, August 17. Residents reported seeing some staff accompanying the boat on electric foil boards. By Nina Done 25 May 2023 Marking her debut onto the world stage at the Palm Beach International Boat Show in March, the custom Amels 60 (196ft) superyacht ENTOURAGE proved an instant hit, with lucky show-goers afforded the first glimpse into her chic and voluminous spaces. The first official pictures from Damen Yachting have now been released showcasing her custom light-filled interiors by Canada-based design studio Burdifilek to perfection.  Delivered to her owner in February 2023, the 853 GT motor yacht ’s head-turning exteriors come courtesy of world-class designer Espen Øino, with Damen Yachting responsible for her naval architecture. Appointed to create a luxurious and serene interior, Burdifilek’s first superyacht project has been a resounding success, developed in line with the owner’s “clear brief and global vision into a tranquil and elegant home at sea.” She captures the essence of innovative superyacht design through subtle interplay with her surroundings evidenced by her seamless stream of windows, fold-down balconies and wide deck spaces.  “The Owner knew exactly how he wanted to entertain and how he wanted the flow through the spaces to be. When the sun sets, the yacht transforms, shifting from day to night, evoking a completely different feeling,” says Diego Burdi, Burdifilek’s co-founder. “This unique opportunity led us on a journey of exploration where every design aspect of the yacht was considered at the highest level. Conceived as a floating oasis of luxury, the interiors are a playground of timeless elegance, ultimate comfort with a sense of peace conveyed through a monochromatic palette,” adds Diego Burdi, whose portfolio includes the W Hotel, New York’s Club Monaco and some of the world’s most dynamic commercial environments.  Highlights include a sprawling sundeck complete with a Jacuzzi pool, bar and sumptuous loungers, as well as a shaded L-shaped sofa and alfresco dining area, ideal for more informal meals with incredible views. Additional dining options can be found on her main deck aft, bridge deck saloon and a casual dining set-up in the main saloon. If guests so desire, they can even enjoy a meal under the stars at water level on her swim platform. Meanwhile, with her tender tucked away in her foredeck garage, guests will thrill at the motor yacht's well-appointed waterside beach club area, featuring a sauna and day head, as well as a range of gym equipment. They also have access to the yacht's well-equipped toy locker and vast swim platform for supreme on-water fun.  On a luxury yacht charter, ENTOURAGE provides accommodation for 12 guests across 5 suites. Positioned on the main deck, the owner’s suite comes equipped with a lounge area, two bathrooms and adjoining twin-bed guest suite, as well as a fold-down balcony providing exceptional views over the water, perfect for a morning coffee watching the sun rise. The remaining generous cabins can be found on her lower deck. Designed to a specific brief by her experienced owner, each interior space has been meticulously crafted to create a unique feel, yet one that still maintains complete harmony with the rest of her beautiful interiors. “It’s an extremely well-optimised design. Together with the Amels team we invested a lot of time fine-tuning the Amels 60 design, really looking back at the Limited Editions past, talking to clients.
