ANDIAMO spends the summer and winter season in the Bahamas. She was completed by the renowned boatbuilder Symbol Yachts in 2010. An elegant refit was completed in 2017. The expansive yacht layout features 3 cozy cabins and comfortably accommodates a group of 6 guests.

Captain: Josh Turner

Captain Josh Turner: Captain Josh grew up around the Seattle area of the Pacific Northwest. The rivers he learned to salmon fish on were seasonal but plentiful and stocked full of silver salmon. Since then his experience has taken him all over the country and world. One of his first experiences as a Captain was running a boat out of Lahaina, Maui. Windjammer cruises kept his days full of Humpback whales and beautiful Hawaiian sunsets. From here he went across the globe to Alaska and the Seward area. Where he enjoyed the serene beauty of the same whales breeching, Bald Eagles and running a sport fishing boat. During this part of his life Josh was a successful captain and landed lots of Pacific Salmon, Pacific Halibut, Lingcod and sea bass. From Alaska to Newport Beach California, where Captain Josh worked with Sunseekers Yachts for eight years in and out of the Newport area. But Josh needed warmer water and more fun in the sun, so off to Virgin Islands He was the captain for excursion boats from St Thomas to Virgin Gorda. There were plenty of opportunities here for Josh to expand his fishing for Ahi and sail fish. From Maui to Alaska to Virgin Islands to Florida and The Bahamas. Captain Josh found his place in the world. Great cruising in the Bahamas and places to explore. The Bahamas are a place to get in the heat of all the action, to the quiet Otter Islands and Bahamian vibe and culture. Florida and the Florida Keys, what more can you say, all the great things in one spot. Captain Josh is a certified SCUBA diver, free diver fisherman and loves to go Lobstering when he can. He Loves the water and finds happiness introducing people to his favorite things! Mate John McCabe: John started in the marine industry back in 1992 working dinner cruises in Seward, Alaska as a deck hand. After moving to Maui, Hawaii in 1994, he continued his marine experience operating 5-star sunset dinner cruises aboard a 100 foot 3-masted schooner. A move to Milwaukee Wisconsin in 1997 shifted his marine education to the competitive world of Great Lakes regattas and sailboat racing, while owning and operating a full-service restaurant and brewery near the Marina. After 17 years of Great Lakes sailing experience, John moved to Southeast Florida in 2014 and continues to enjoy catering to guests on board private Miami Yacht charters and Fort Lauderdale fishing expeditions on M/V Andiamo. John is currently is working towards his USCG Captain’s license to further his career in the Marine industry Chenaé van Niekerk: Chenaé began her culinary career at an early age. She discovered her passion and started working for an Advanced Food and Wine Degree, she worked in the kitchens of top‐rated restaurants and catering companies. In 2014, she brought her culinary expertise to the maritime industry. As a chef she travelled the Mediterranean Sea, Asia, Malaysia, Maldives, Singapore, the US, and the Caribbean. Catering for guests from U.S., Belgium, Italy, England, France, Australia, Arabian, and Scandinavian countries, her focus is on healthy, tasteful food, ensuring the nutritional benefits of each meal. Chef Chenae’s dedication to her craft and preparing exceptional international menus, combined with her health coach certification; uniquely qualifies her to expertly prepare a menu suited to make our guests time aboard Andiamo a delicious one. Turner: <br /> Captain Josh grew up around the Seattle area of the Pacific Northwest. The rivers he learned to salmon fish on were seasonal but plentiful and stocked full of silver salmon. Since then his experience has taken him all over the country and world. One of his first experiences as a Captain was running a boat out of Lahaina, Maui. Windjammer cruises kept his days full of Humpback whales and beautiful Hawaiian sunsets. <br /> From here he went across the globe to Alaska and the Seward area. Where he enjoyed the serene beauty of the same whales breeching, Bald Eagles and running a sport fishing boat. During this part of his life Josh was a successful captain and landed lots of Pacific Salmon, Pacific Halibut, Lingcod and sea bass. From Alaska to Newport Beach California, where Captain Josh worked with Sunseekers Yachts for eight years in and out of the Newport area. But Josh needed warmer water and more fun in the sun, so off to Virgin Islands He was the captain for excursion boats from St Thomas to Virgin Gorda. There were plenty of opportunities here for Josh to expand his fishing for Ahi and sail fish. <br /> From Maui to Alaska to Virgin Islands to Florida and The Bahamas. Captain Josh found his place in the world. Great cruising in the Bahamas and places to explore. The Bahamas are a place to get in the heat of all the action, to the quiet Otter Islands and Bahamian vibe and culture. Florida and the Florida Keys, what more can you say, all the great things in one spot. Captain Josh is a certified SCUBA diver, free diver fisherman and loves to go Lobstering when he can. He Loves the water and finds happiness introducing people to his favorite things! <br /> <br /> Mate John McCabe:<br /> John started in the marine industry back in 1992 working dinner cruises in Seward, Alaska as a deck hand. <br /> After moving to Maui, Hawaii in 1994, he continued his marine experience operating 5-star sunset dinner cruises aboard a 100 foot 3-masted<br /> schooner. A move to Milwaukee Wisconsin in 1997 shifted his marine education to the<br /> competitive world of Great Lakes regattas and sailboat racing, while owning and<br /> operating a full-service restaurant and brewery near the Marina. After 17 years of<br /> Great Lakes sailing experience, John moved to Southeast Florida in 2014 and<br /> continues to enjoy catering to guests on board private Miami Yacht charters and Fort<br /> Lauderdale fishing expeditions on M/V Andiamo.<br /> John is currently is working towards his USCG Captain’s license to further his career in<br /> the Marine industry<br /> <br /> Chenaé van Niekerk:<br /> Chenaé began her culinary career at an early age. She discovered her passion and started working for an Advanced Food and Wine Degree, she worked in the kitchens of top‐rated restaurants and catering companies. In 2014, she brought her culinary expertise to the maritime industry. As a chef she travelled the Mediterranean Sea, Asia, Malaysia, Maldives, Singapore, the US, and the Caribbean. Catering for guests from U.S., Belgium, Italy, England, France, Australia, Arabian, and Scandinavian countries, her focus is on healthy, tasteful food, ensuring the nutritional benefits of each meal.<br /> Chef Chenae’s dedication to her craft and preparing exceptional international menus, combined with her health coach certification; uniquely qualifies her to expertly prepare a menu suited to make our guests time aboard Andiamo a delicious one. The rivers he learned to salmon fish on were seasonal but plentiful and stocked full of silver salmon. Since then his experience has taken him all over the country and world. Windjammer cruises kept his days full of Humpback whales and beautiful Hawaiian sunsets. <br /> From here he went across the globe to Alaska and the Seward area. Where he enjoyed the serene beauty of the same whales breeching, Bald Eagles and running a sport fishing boat. During this part of his life Josh was a successful captain and landed lots of Pacific Salmon, Pacific Halibut, Lingcod and sea bass. From Alaska to Newport Beach California, where Captain Josh worked with Sunseekers Yachts for eight years in and out of the Newport area. But Josh needed warmer water and more fun in the sun, so off to Virgin Islands He was the captain for excursion boats from St Thomas to Virgin Gorda. There were plenty of opportunities here for Josh to expand his fishing for Ahi and sail fish. <br /> From Maui to Alaska to Virgin Islands to Florida and The Bahamas. Captain Josh found his place in the world. Great cruising in the Bahamas and places to explore. The Bahamas are a place to get in the heat of all the action, to the quiet Otter Islands and Bahamian vibe and culture. Most expenses are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), a fund that is added on top of the charter price. The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption). You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled). A General Description of Motor Yacht OLSTEN

Timmerman Yachts completed the building motor yacht OLSTEN in 2004. Accordingly, she has the distinction of being built country of Russia. OLSTEN is a yacht which had design completed by Moscow Shipyard and Moscow Shipyard. This superyacht OLSTEN is able to accommodate a maximum of 12 passengers all told aboard together with around 6 professional crew. Finished and launched in 2004 the comparatively recent interior design and decor demonstrates the proficiency which are originating from Moscow Shipyard and the owner who commissioned the yacht.

Building & Designing relating to Luxury Yacht OLSTEN

Moscow Shipyard was the naval architect firm involved in the professional vessel composition for OLSTEN. Also the company Moscow Shipyard successfully worked on this undertaking. Interior designer Moscow Shipyard was commissioned for the internal interior styling. Russia is the country that Timmerman Yachts built their new build motor yacht in. After her formal launch in 2004 in Moscow the boat was then handed over to the owner after final finishing. Her hull was constructed with steel. The motor yacht main superstructure is made predominantly from aluminium. With a width of 6.8 m or 22.31 feet OLSTEN has moderate internal space. A fairly shallow draught of 1.7m (5.56ft) affects the number of harbours she can berth in, taking into account their particular depth.

Engineering And The Speed The M/Y OLSTEN Can Reach:

The 3406E engine installed in the motor yacht is produced by CATERPILLAR. Connected to her Caterpillar engine(s) are twin screw propellers. The engine of the yacht creates 600 horse power (or 442 kilowatts). She is fitted with 2 engines. The total thrust for the yacht is accordingly 1200 HP or 884 KW.

On board Superyacht OLSTEN There is Passenger Accommodation Capacity For:

Providing room for a limit of 12 visiting passengers spending the night, the OLSTEN accommodates them in luxury. She also has room for circa 6 expert crew members to operate.

The 36m/118'1" motor yacht 'Andiamo' was built by Benetti in Italy at their Fano shipyard. Her interior is styled by French designer design house Zuretti and she was completed in 2007. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Stefano Righini and she was last refitted in 2017.

Andiamo has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 7 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Range & Performance

Built with a GRP hull and GRP superstructure, with teak decks, she benefits from a semi-displacement hull to provide exceptional seakeeping and impressive speeds. Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 2000 M91) 12-cylinder 1,500hp engines running at 2350rpm, she comfortably cruises at 12 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 14 knots with a range of up to 2,222 nautical miles from her 40,000 litre fuel tanks at 12 knots. Her water tanks store around 7,000 Litres of fresh water. She was built to ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) ✠ A1, Yachting Service, AMS classification society rules, and is MCA Compliant.
