It’s summer’s most epic pop-rock tour, and it’s coming your way! Train’s Summer Road Trip 2024 covers over 40 dates, and it’s hitting all the right places! The monster outing also includes the presence of the remarkable Yacht Rock Revue. It's a showdown of early 2000s powerhouses, and they’re ready to light up the popular Pittsburgh music melting pot, Stage AE, with a bang! Expect iconic hits from Train’s 11-album repertoire as they cover unprecedented hits from 1998 all the way to 2022! Train has sold over ten million albums worldwide, while 14 of their hits have made it on the Billboard Hot 100. The band is known for releasing some of the biggest pop-rock anthems of the 2000s, including “Hey Soul Sister,” “Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me),” “Drive By,” and more. Their exemplary work in music has earned them three Grammy Awards, an ASCAP Pop Music Award, and two Billboard Music Awards. Today, the band continues to release new music, the latest being their highly-acclaimed 2022 album, AM Gold, which spawned the hits “AM Gold” and “Cleopatra.”

Acclaimed cover band Yacht Rock Revue will be embarking on a mammoth 21-date tour across America taking place in 2023. Their Reverse Sunset Tour kicks off May 12th in Birmingham and stretches into September making additional stops in Orlando, Philadelphia, New York, Denver, San Diego and Phoenix. The new outing follows up 2021's Hot Dads in Tight Jeans Tour which continued into 2022.

Yacht Rock Revue will continue performing their own renditions of soft rock hits of the 70’s and 80's from acts like Hall & Oates , Michael McDonald and Steely Dan . Since forming in 2007, they've shared the stage with John Oates , Eddie Money , Little River Band , Pablo Cruise , Starship , Denny Laine , Robbie Dupree , Elliot Lurie , Peter Beckett and Bill Champlin among many others. The 7-piece band currently consists of members Peter Olson, Nicholas Niespodziani, Mark Cobb, Greg Lee, Mark Bencuya, Mark Dannells, and David Freeman.

What is left for Yacht Rock Revue to prove? This top-notch group of musicians has already rocked onstage with John Oates, Eddie Money (RIP), and both versions of the band Player. They’ve trademarked the term “yacht rock,” both metaphorically and literally (U.S. Registration Number 3834195). From humble beginnings in a basement, touring in partnership with Live Nation and Sirius XM, they now headline sold-out shows across the country, from Webster Hall in New York to the Wiltern in L.A. While rising from bars to amphitheaters, they’ve ticked every box on the Rock Star Accomplishments bingo card. Except for one: Writing and singing their own songs. Yacht Rock Revue’s first original record is ten songs inspired by the smoooooth sounds of the Seventies and Eighties. They’ve brazenly titled it Hot Dads In Tight Jeans – forgive them for bragging, but that’s what they are – and it returns Yacht Rock Revue to their roots in original music.

“I had a midlife crisis. That’s why we made this album,” says Nick Niespodziani, the group’s singer, guitarist, and spiritual leader. “Everyone in the band is a dad now, so we needed to make this happen, before we become grandpas. I’ve sung ‘Escape’ by Rupert Holmes at least a thousand times, and if that isn’t paying your dues, I don’t know what is.”

It’s rare that musicians in their 40s chase their rock star dreams. You’d have to be crazy to try. YRR knew they were underdogs, but resolved to take one more shot at the Top 40, and maybe even become a Cinderella story of midlife fulfillment. Yacht Rock Revue began in the least-yachtiest of states, 2,000 miles from breezy Marina del Rey. Niespodziani and Pete Olson met in the fourth grade in suburban Indiana, went on to Indiana University in the late Nineties, formed the band Y-O-U, then escaped – Rupert Holmes reference intended – to Atlanta. One night, Y-O-U tucked their tongues deep in their cheeks and played a show of Yacht Rock songs. The rowdy (a nice way of saying drunk), sold-out crowd loved it.

When the club owner asked them to do it again, Niespodziani didn’t want to. But the club owner had an ace up his sleeve: money. Over the years, YRR (there’s also a Dave, a Greg, and literally three guys named Mark) have turned themselves into human wine spritzers, playing 120 to 150 shows a year, mastering Yacht Rock’s slick chords and mellow grooves, and partying like it’s 1979. What began as a joke among friends soon put a ripple in the zeitgeist, starting a national trend through YRR’s concerts, lauded as “unabashedly joyous affairs” by Entertainment Weekly. They accumulated an extensive wardrobe of white belts and polyester shirts. Yacht Rock Revue were revered and well-compensated! Their life was a tenor sax solo! This is what every musician wants.

But even as YRR was sailing the smooth seas of tribute-band superstardom, and the band members all became dads, Niespodziani was still writing original songs. These new tunes had the spirit of Yacht Rock, but were more modern – akin to Phoenix or Air, the hip bands that adapted Yacht for a younger audience. They brought the songs to a hot producer, Ben Allen, who’s worked with Gnarls Barkley, Animal Collective, and Neon Indian. Allen gave the songsa lustrous shine, for both new audiences and their ever-loyal fans, the Nation of Smooth. Niespodziani and Olson even co-wrote a song, “Big Bang,” with Yacht Rock master Matthew Wilder, famous for his massive 1983 hit “Break My Stride.”

“Step,” the record’s first single, is a peppy number replete with falsetto and bumping bass, a cross between the Bee Gees and Steely Dan’s “Peg.” It’s also the mission statement for the album in a way, because it’s about deciding who you want to be, and making space for that in your life. The seven-piece band display tight chops, and the songs incorporate Yacht Rock Revue’s sense of humor, especially on the funky, pro-margarita “Bad Tequila,” the flute-fired “Another Song About California,” and opening track “The Doobie Bounce,” where Niespodziani brags, “I used to sleep on couches/Now I sleep on nicer couches.”

Hot Dads In Tight Jeans is as plush and shiny as Kenny Loggins’ beard. And YRR are already dropping these new songs into their sets, to great response from longtime fans who are thrilled to hear new smooth. While others in YRR’s position stick with the tried-and-true, Niespodziani hopes the album will let them welcome aboard new fans, too. To paraphrase a notable mariner… they’re gonna need a bigger yacht. “Here’s how I see it,” Niespodziani concludes, sliding into a waiting limousine. “We have only one fewer hit than Player did, and Player is immortal. We built this Yacht Rock thing on the power of memories and good vibes. None of that is changing; we’re just gonna make a few new memories as well.”

In addition to the North American trek, the band will headline the inaugural Summer of '99 and Beyond Festival.

In the middle of the tour, Creed will head to San Bernardino, Calif. to top the bill of the inaugural Summer of ’99 and Beyond Festival, which will corral the openers on various legs of the tour and welcome a few other special guests. 3 Doors Down, Daughtry, Finger Eleven, Fuel, Vertical Horizon, The Verve Pipe will join Creed on Aug. 31 at San Bernardino’s Glen Helen Amphitheatre.

“Summer of ‘99 and Beyond Festival in San Bernardino is going to be so special for all of us,” says guitarist Mark Tremonti. “It is giving us a chance to bring performances from the cruises and tour together in one location. That show is going to be a highlight for us next year.”

In July, Creed announced their first shows together in 12 years as headliners of the Summer of ’99 cruise, setting sail from April 18-22, 2024. The band added a second cruise the following weekend, and both trips are sold out.

Stapp, Tremonti, Brian Marshall and Scott Phillips stopped touring together in 2012, after scoring smashes like “One,” “Higher,” “With Arms Wide Open” and “My Sacrifice”; their 1999 sophomore album, Human Clay , has sold 11.7 million copies to date, according to Luminate. In addition to the Creed reunion, Tremonti recently released a holiday album, Christmas Classics New & Old , and Stapp’s fourth solo album, Higher Power , will be released in March 2024.

Linkin Park performed together for the first time in Los Angeles on Thursday for ticketed fans who were transported by buses to a studio lot. The event was livestreamed and will be available to view on Linkin Park’s official online channels for the next 24 hours.

According to a press release, Shinoda, Delson, Farrell and Hahn “quietly began meeting up again in recent years” and “rather than ‘trying to restart the band,'” they worked with numerous musicians and “found a special kinship with Armstong and Brittain.”

About the new era, Shinoda said in a statement, “Before Linkin Park, our first band name was Xero. This album title refers to both this humble beginning and the journey we’re currently undertaking. Sonically and emotionally, it is about past, present, and future — embracing our signature sound, but new and full of life. It was made with a deep appreciation for our new and longtime bandmates, our friends, our family, and our fans. We are proud of what Linkin Park has become over the years, and excited about the journey ahead.”

Pre-sale tickets for the “From Zero” tour will be available for the LP Underground fan club starting Sept. 6. The general sale will start the following day on Sept. 7.

This announcement follows Linkin Park’s release of its “Papercuts (Singles Collection 2000-2023)” from earlier this spring. The 20-song LP collected the bestselling band’s greatest hits across a two-decade-plus run. It was released via Warner Records, and featured songs including “In the End,” “Burn It Down” and a Jay-Z mash-up, “Numb/Encore,” as well as “Lost,” which helped propel its parent LP, “Meteora,” to return to the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart.

NEW YORK – Linkin Park is back with a new lineup and debuting their first new music since the 2017 death of lead singer Chester Bennington.

On Thursday, the band kicked off a livestream showcasing new singer Emily Armstrong and drummer Colin Brittain, who will join returning members Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Phoenix and Joe Hahn in Linkin Park's new lineup. Shinoda and Armstrong share vocal duties.

The new lineup launched into a new single, “The Emptiness Machine," at the top of the stream. Armstrong's performance style comfortably continues the band's legacy: Her full-throated vocals recall Bennington without attempting parody, immediately evidenced on the second song of the set: “Somewhere I Belong.”

“This is a very special day for us,” Shinoda said as he led introductions, mentioning that guitarist Alex Feder was filling in Delson for the night. “In the role of Chester Bennington this afternoon is each of you," Shinoda addressed the crowd.

The new Linkin Park also announced a new album, “From Zero.” It releases Nov. 15.

The rock-rap band is one of the most commercially successful acts of the 2000s, aided by Bennington's vocals. At 41, he died by suicide shortly after the release of the group's last album, “One More Light.” In the years since, Linkin Park has dropped a number of re-releases, including 20th anniversary editions of “Hybrid Theory,” “Meteora” and, this year, the career-spanning greatest hits collection, “Papercuts.”

“Before Linkin Park, our first band name was Xero. This album title refers to both this humble beginning and the journey we’re currently undertaking,” Shinoda said in a statement announcing the upcoming release.

Armstrong comes from alt-rock band Dead Sara and Brittain is a songwriter and producer who has worked with Papa Roach, One OK Rock and All Time Low, among others. He replaces original drummer Rob Bourdon, who “has decided to step away,” a band representative told The Associated Press.

“The more we worked with Emily and Colin, the more we enjoyed their world-class talents, their company, and the things we created,” Shinoda said. “We feel really empowered with this new lineup and the vibrant and energized new music we’ve made together. We’re weaving together the sonic touchpoints we’ve been known for and still exploring new ones.”

The band also announced the “From Zero World Tour,” featuring five arena shows in Los Angeles; New York; Hamburg, Germany; London and Seoul this month, and a sixth in November in Bogotá, Colombia.

This year, multi-platinum rock group Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) kicks off a monumental winter tour on November 13. The tour marks a triple celebration: 20 years of their beloved rock opera "The Lost Christmas Eve," reaching their 20 millionth concertgoer, and surpassing a phenomenal $20 million donated to charity.

Presales for TSO fan club members begin on September 5 at 10 AM, local time with additional presales starting September 12 at 10 AM, local time. TSO remains true to the vision of their late founder, Paul O’Neill, by being one of rock's most generous bands. This year, the band will surpass a staggering $20 million donated to charity, a testament to their ongoing commitment to philanthropy. This generosity is fueled by their tradition of donating at least $1 from every ticket sold. That means with their 20 millionth fan attending a show on this tour, TSO will  be hitting not just a concert attendance record, but a charitable milestone as well.

TSO's music director and lead guitarist, Al Pitrelli said, “When I was working on Lost Christmas Eve with Paul O'Neill, we talked a lot about time. He said that losing money or things wasn't as bad as losing time. Material losses can be recovered, but you can never get time back. That's why he always thought it was never too late to change. Never too late for forgiveness. People can make things right, forgive each other, and reconnect. The Lost Christmas Eve is about that hope: it's never too late for any of us."

This year's tour marks the grand return of "The Lost Christmas Eve" to the stage for the first time since 2013. Expect an all-new, dazzling spectacle packed with pyrotechnics, lasers, and the incredible storytelling synonymous with TSO. The celebration continues with a high-energy second set featuring the group's greatest hits and fan favorites.

"The Lost Christmas Eve" is a product of the imagination of and based on TSO’s double-platinum CD of the same name. The plot is one that resonates with people deeply over the holiday season. Alone on Christmas Eve, a bitter old businessman wandered New York City. Once a rising star, he’d traded love, family, and joy for a life of solitude and regret. The tragic loss of his wife hardened his heart, pushing him away from his infant son and into decades of isolation. Then, a chance encounter with a mysterious girl led him to a life-altering phone call. His son, who he abandoned decades ago, was alive, a gentle soul caring for troubled newborns in a maternity ward. After seeking him out, the son gives a silent and forgiving gaze to his long-lost father. As they sit together, comforting innocent infants, a new reunited life together begins.

Breaking news, how much do tickets cost to see graham nash on tour in fall 2024.

Graham Nash is showing no signs of slowing down at 82.

The legendary folk-rock singer just wrapped his summer 2024 tour, and, after a short rest, he’ll return to the road for a 19-concert fall run .

This September and October, the two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee will perform at auditoriums, theaters, music halls, arts centers and barns all over North America.

That includes a slew of New York and New Jersey shows.

First up, Nash has back-to-back gigs with Judy Collins lined up at Collingswood, NJ’s Scottish Rite Auditorium on Saturday, Sept. 28 and Sunday, Sept. 29 .

After that, the iconic singer-songwriter is slated to drop into New York City’s Carnegie Hall on Tuesday, Oct. 1, Albany’s The Egg on Sunday, Oct. 6 and Ithaca’s State Theatre on Saturday, Oct. 12.

And, for those wondering, yes, he makes sure to dig deep into Crosby, Stills and Nash’s back catalog. At most shows, Nash plays classics like “Teach Your Children,” “Marrakesh Express” “Our House” and many more.

In May 2023, Nash released his seventh studio album  “Now.”

The 13-track record is a vital entry in the folk-rocker’s canon as he reflects on aging with his trademark harmonious rock and country flourishes.

If you want to dip your toes into the new stuff, we recommend starting with the edgy “Right Now,” urgent “I Watched It All Come Down” and melancholy “Love Of Mine.”

Clearly, the standout is the endlessly catchy “Buddy’s Back,” that will have you clapping your hands and stomping your feet while Nash pays tribute to ’50s icon Buddy Holly.
