Marks Point Marina boast state-of-the-art modern Bellingham floating concrete  marina, designed to hold vessels up to 20 metres in length. Comprehensive CCTV security system and the Marina is closed to the public, fuel dock serving diesel and premium ULP, Showers and Toilets onsite car parking.

Antifoul and slipping.

If your pride and joy lives in the water, you need to keep the marine growth at bay with an anti-fouling system. Our large slipway can be used to do just that.

Shipwright Repairs

Our experienced team can offer a comprehensive range of spray painting, glass and timber repairs, plumbing and more refurbishments services.

Mechanical Repairs

We have an expert Marine Mechanic who can service a wide range of inboard and outboard engines, so you can rest easy knowing your in good hands.

Our state-of-the-art Bellingham floating concrete Marina is designed to hold vessels up to 60 foot in length. It is also monitored by CCTV and closed to the public.

We have a well stocked Chandlery that offers only the best brands and products to ensure that the job is done right every time. Ask our friendly staff for advice.

Our Laundry facilities can conveniently be used by anyone berthed at the Marina offering a coin-operated washing machine and complimentary dryer / Ironing board.

Convenient Location

We have a great location on the lake that is in walking distance to Belmont Golf Club, restaurants and cafes, parks, bushwalking trails, golden sandy beaches and more.

Accessbility

We have access to charter boats, dive charters, Scenic Lake Macquarie Cruises, jet boat rides, great fishing, swimming,  snorkelling and relaxing!

We have three onsite tenants, ACME Marine Engineering, BUYABOAT Sales and Coast Covers giving you a one-stop-shop for all your boating needs.

EAST COAST NSW

Sailing east coast of nsw.

Key Points: 1: Yacht based at Gladesville Bridge Marina 2: Flexible usage and freedom to explore 3:  Full technical support service with YSM and TR Marine Services in the Empire Marina 4: One-way deliveries between all these ports can be arranged. The Gladesville Bridge Marina is the home port for Halyna during the southern cruising season.  From Sydney as the primary base, Pittwater, Lake Macquarie and Port Stephen.

Lake Macquarie itself is twice the size of Sydney Harbour and is a superb cruising experience. Access to a variety of restaurants, good swimming and bush walking add to your holiday activities. Just North of Lake Macquarie the redeveloped port of Newcastle has a lively waterfront and ready access to the Hunter Valley wine, food and entertainment. On to Port Stephens where Yacht Share Mariner owners have reciprocal access to the Soldiers Point Marina and its excellent restaurants. South of Lake Macquarie Pittwater and Sydney Harbour have little opportunity for berthing in the marinas during the summer season.

Yacht Share Mariner offers a unique experience cruising the east coast between Lake Macquarie and Port Stephen. Include the port of Newcastle, as a guest of the Newcastle Cruising Yacht Club, and provides easy access to the Hunter Valley food, wine and entertainment scene.  The terminus in Nelson Bay is at the excellent Soldiers Point Marina. You need to be a member of the Halyna Bali 4.4 catamaran syndicate – with up to 38 days usage each year. The winter base is in the Whitsundays and summer in the south maximising the use of the yacht. The Bali 4.4 has all the luxury of a 5-star hotel with nearly 100 square meters of usable space on the main deck, 3 air-conditioned cabins with private en-suite facilities and two big diesel engines to keep you moving when the wind drops.  The 630-liter fridge-freezer makes catering a breeze in remote overnight stays in iconic destinations. Halyna will be based at the Gladesville Bridge Marina on Sydney Harbour, and cruising to Pittwater, Lake Macquarie and Port Stephen are easily possible.

East Coast NSW Suggested Itinerary

Day 1 – Toronto

There is a Public Wharf available at Toronto that allows easy access to Coles and Woolworths for provisioning if needed. From Toronto, head to Croudace Bay where courtesy moorings are available. Ashore you may wish to try Bowling Club Restaurant.

Day 2 – Belmont or Gwandalan Bay

Head South to Lake Macquarie Yacht Club where there is wharfage and restaurant access. The town of Belmont is within easy walking distance. Or you can anchor in a bush setting in Gwandalan Bay, Murrays Beach. Wharfage and restaurant access available. (Limited days).

Day 3 – Trinity Point Marina or Pulbah Island

Explore the southern part of the Lake including Trinity Point Marina. Possible mooring/anchoring sites: Western side of Pt Woolsoncroft North, South and West sides of Pulbah Island Southern side of Wangi Point.

Days 4 & 5 – Wangi

Explore Wangi town, restaurants and clubs from the wharfage on the southern side of Wangi. Day walks and extended shore excursions are a couple of options.

Days 6, 7 & 8 – Newcastle (Approx. 12NM)   

Exit Lake Macquarie via Swansea Channel and sail to Newcastle. For more information on Swansea Channel click here . Day 9 – Port Stephens (Approx. 27NM)

Sail to Port Stephens, Nelson Bay. Anchor overnight in Fingal Bay near Shark Island.

Day 10 – Port Stephens

Continue into Port Stephens or explore the offshore islands of Port Stephens. Once in Nelson Bay/Port Stephens you have reciprocal rights with the Soldiers Point Marina through ECLAT (East Coast Luxury Aquatic Travellers Club). ECLAT has 4 marinas on the east coast of NSW, including Darling Harbour, Bobbin Head in Pittwater, Lake Macquarie and Soldiers Point Port Stephens. They work together to offer various services to yachties.

Please ensure you contact the Lake Macquarie Marina office directly to reserve your space in any other ECLAT facility.

Days 12 & 13 – Port Stephens

Enjoy all that Port Stephens has to offer: Bushwalks ashore, restaurants, flatwater sailing and friendly people.

Day 13 – Lake Macquarie

Sail back to Lake Macquarie or organise your turnaround with the next user to occur in Port Stephens.

If you do organise your turnaround to take place anywhere other than your primary Marina Lake Macquarie, please notify YSM as soon as possible as we need time to ensure that linen etc is available.
