Day charters are an affordable way for you and your crew to rent a private yacht with Captain and Crew included. Also included in the price is local cruising fuel, cleaning fees, service fees & taxes, and even some gratuity on most charter listings. Most of our boats have a 13 guest max, not including the Captain and Crew.

What should i bring with me?

We provide all Coast Guard required safety gear on all of our boats as  it is not necessary to bring very much with you, however, below is a list of items we suggest you bring.

Towels, sunglasses, sunscreen, long sleeve shirt and hat for sun protection, snacks and plenty of water!

Is there a maximum capacity on each boat?

Yes, each of our boats has a limit on the number of people allowed on the boat is usually between 6-13 max by law.

Can I bring my own food or alcohol?

Yes, you sure can all types of food & drinks are welcome.

Honestly 11/10 experience for my bachelorette! Our captain was the best. Helpful and good vibes but gave us space to have fun. The boat was just as promised on the listing - very spacious for us 10 girls, underneath cabin to change/leave our things, came with a large floaty for us all to enjoy on the water, and a great sound system for the jams. He had the CUTEST dog that was going to be picked up by a dog sitter when we got there early but we encouaged him to stay since we were all dog lovers :) Booking this boat was definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

Things to Keep in Mind:

• Per Federal US Coast Guard Regulations, maximum 13 passengers allowed. No exceptions will be made.
• The Yacht has surround system throughout, you can stream your favorite playlist from your i- phone.
• This vessel comes with life jackets, emergency and first aid kits. If you have known allergies or medical requirements, please bring medication in the event of an emergency.
• Your day begins at the time stated in your signed Charter Agreement. If you are late to the dock, we will not adjust the duration of the trip, we must follow the Charter Agreement.
• Children are allowed on board and are counted as a passenger.
• Shoes must be removed before entering the yacht. Barefoot or socks but no shoes allowed.
• We require 50% down to secure the date and the balance is due 20 days prior to your trip.

What Not to Bring:

• Chocolate of any kind.
• Confetti cannons or glitter of any kind are prohibited.
• Smoking is not allowed, vaping only.
• Spray sunscreen is not allowed. Lotion only.
• Shoes must be removed before entering the yacht.
• Parking is very limited at the marina, please plan accordingly. Only 2 vehicles allowed.

Once you confirm your reservation, your broker will process your payment.

• If you are booking for a single day and your reservation is confirmed more than 7 days in advance, a deposit of either $1,000 USD or 50% of the total cost of the reservation (whichever is greater) is processed immediately in order to hold the yacht. Once your embarkation date is 7 days away, the remainder of the amount due is processed.
• If you are booking for a single day and your reservation is made 7 days or less in advance, the total price of your reservation is processed immediately.
• If you are booking for a multi-day charter and your reservation is confirmed more than 30 days in advance, a deposit of 50% of the cost of the yacht is processed immediately in order to hold the yacht. Once your embarkation date is 30 days away, the other 50% is collected for the price of the yacht, plus the APA, plus the taxes due.

Terms of refunds are dictated by the Charter Agreement. Generally, once a payment is collected, it is non-refundable. In certain circumstances, as dictated by the Charter Agreement, credits can be provided so you will be able to enjoy your yacht charter at a future date that is convenient for you.

Important Notes

Parties of 7 or more will be utilizing our bare boat contract. The renter under a bare boat agreement assumes full responsibility for the boat, the equipment, the passengers, and has the right to decide who drives/captains the boat for the day. The renter can choose their own captain, or ask Salt Luxury Charters to assign one for them. If choosing your own captain, we will require that they are knowledgeable of the local waterways, have CPR and first aid valid training with certificate, and are a part of a drug consortium. The charterer may also dismiss the crew at anytime. The charterer is also responsible for bringing the boat and it's equipment back in good, working order. 

If weather and/or wind is undesirable on the day of your tour, we will reschedule or provide a full refund.

The idea for RBC came one day when I was driving on Bayshore Blvd. in 2014, looking out towards Hillsborough Bay, when I realized something. As much as I love to be out on the water and exploring, I never had a chance to explore Tampa’s waterways. As a Tampa Bay native, I could not let this stand. So, I set out on a mission to find something that was affordable and fun to go out on the water… for myself. It wasn’t until I started thinking about my childhood trips to Disney World that my idea grew. I used to beg my parents to let me rent one of the little mini-powerboats that were out at the resorts for a ride around on the lakes. At that moment, lightning struck! I was going to bring a little piece of Disney to Downtown Tampa for others to experience, emulating the same attention to quality and enjoyment that they provide.

The gentlemen were efficient, very personable and knowledgeable. I was visiting from CA, luckily I found these guys. My experience was awesome!

don't use this company awful service, doesn't answer the phones ever, never gave my deposit back and we didn't even ride the jet skis.

My son and I had an excellent experience. The main contact (Pablo) was super professional, personable and engaging. The Wave Runners were in excellent shape, the instructions in the beginning were informative, and they even reinforced the directions a couple of more times once we were in the water. Pablo's assistant (again, very professional and helpful) was actually on his own wave runner out in Tampa Bay near us. They obviously have a focus on safety and protection. The assistant actually accompanied us while returning to shore. We had a blast and will certainly return again. Oh, the location on the bay was perfect! Mike Kane - Tampa

I would not recommend a 45 minute jet ski rental for $345.05. !!!MAKE SURE YOU READ "REQUIREMENTS" PAGE ON THEIR WEBSITE!!! I'm not one to leave unfavorable reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience. To begin, I did enjoy myself; it was a nice time on the water. The customer service over the phone was good and the staff at the boat launch were friendly. The reason for my rating is due to the fact that I did not comb through their entire website. In addition to the fees added to the rental, their is an additional 15% gratuity for your "guide". We were given instructions, but we did not have a guide.

Best jetski rentals in all of Tampa bay! You guys were amazing! Super friendly and informative employees. Worth every dollar being on the water. Thank you! I'll be returning soon nitro.

Charged my credit card $200 booking online, then called me same day to cancel. 6 months running and they refuse to refund my money. I will likely need to take them to court.

***10/10 do not recommend Highly disappointed in the lack of responsibility they have taken with what we had found to be a generously put critic. I am not typically the most timely person however my veteran BF is quite the punctual being. We were 25 if not 30 minutes early to the boat dock and we sat on the sea wall patiently waiting. We called exactly 20 minutes on the dot, we were told they were going to retrieve the last group since they were going over time. The reason our start was delayed was not on us what so ever. For us to pay for the hour and be there early as requested, we started late due to others, then they came to 'retrieve' us 20 minutes before our end time, and now the review we left has the owners of this company flipping the switch and trying to make up that we were in the wrong by being 'late'.... No sir that was yall not following your own schedule. Time management is tough to lock down but crucial in a business especially one where you charge as much as you do. Here's a tip for ya... Advertise a 45 minute ride if yall are gonna start people late and stop them early to fit the schedule you've made that day. Also 15% of a fully refundable deposit for your less than 5 minute tutorial is ridiculous, nice gig yall got here, hope you learn a more honorable way to conduct business.

Staff was friendly but we only ended up getting 45 min on the skis and 15% gratuity is automatically deducted from that $250 "fully refundable" deposit

DO NOT USE THIS RENTAL COMPANY!!! I was given the booking page saying it was $220 for 2 double jet skis for an hour. After I saw I was charged $280. When I asked, they said it was because of taxes and a gas surcharge. Taxes would have been $10 at the most, and I doubt I even used a gallon to be charged $30 extra dollars. Do not use this rental as they charge you a ton extra. They also charged $40 for a tip from the refundable deposit for the man to sit on his jet ski in the water.

Search resumes for British tech magnate and 5 others after yacht sinks off Sicily

PORTICELLO, Sicily — Rescue teams and divers were returning to the site of a storm-sunken superyacht off Sicily on Tuesday to search for six people, including British tech magnate Mike Lynch, who are believed to be still trapped in the hull, 50 meters (164 feet) underwater.

Divers were loading a rescue dinghy at the port of Porticello, near Palermo, after a first search Monday ended unsuccessfully. Fire rescue crews reported that divers were unable to access the below-deck cabins because they were blocked by debris that had shifted during the violent storm that toppled the luxury sailboat early Monday.

Fifteen people survived, including a mother who reported holding her 1-year-old baby over the waves to save her. One body has been recovered, officials said.

“Access was limited to the bridge, due to the difficulty represented by the presence of furnishings obstructing the divers’ passage,” the fire crews said in a statement.

The search was made particularly difficult because the ship was resting on the seabed at a depth of 50 meters, which limits the amount of time divers can be underwater, said fire rescue spokesperson Luca Cari. As a result, the search is expected to take time, he told The Associated Press early Tuesday.

The 56-meter (184-foot) British-flagged Bayesian luxury yacht had been moored about a half-mile off Ponticello when a storm rolled in around 4 a.m. Monday. Civil protection officials said they believed the ship was struck by a tornado over the water, known as a waterspout, which had passed over the area.

Fifteen of the Bayesian’s 22 passengers and crew managed to escape, first onto a lifeboat and then by a nearby sailboat, the Sir Robert Baden Powell, that had also been moored offshore to ride out the storm, Karsten Borner, the captain of the Baden Powell, told reporters at the scene.

One body, belonging to the Bayesian’s chef, was recovered nearby.

Among those missing was Lynch , who was once hailed as Britain’s king of technology. He was cleared in June of fraud and conspiracy charges in a U.S. federal trial related to Hewlett Packard’s $11 billion takeover of his company, Autonomy Corp. His wife, Angela Bacares, survived.

The vacation appeared to be something of a celebration after Lynch's acquittal, with guests including some of the people who had stood by Lynch throughout the ordeal. Among those unaccounted for, according to the civil protection agency, were one of Lynch’s U.S. lawyers, Christopher Morvillo of Clifford Chance, and Morvillo’s wife. Also among the missing was Jonathan Bloomer, the former head of the Autonomy audit committee who testified at Lynch’s trial, and his wife.

Among the survivors was Charlotte Golunski, who said she momentarily lost hold of her 1-year-old daughter Sofia in the water, but then managed to hold her up over the waves until a lifeboat inflated and they were both pulled to safety, Italian news agency ANSA reported. The father, identified by ANSA as James Emslie, also survived.
