June 08, 2021. Rapido Trimarans is thrilled to confirm that Sailing La Vagabonde (SLV) will sail the world's oceans aboard a Rapido 60! In fact, SLV's video announcing the decision to their 1.59 million subscribers (yes, 1.59m subscribers!) will go live live at 8.30am, Adelaide time in Australia (GMT/UTC +9:30) on 8 June 2021.

Sailing La Vagabonde's current catamaran is a 2022 Rapido Trimaran 60 with an owner's cabin in the starboard hull. This is designed for serious performance and sailing beyond the wind speed. Some say this boat isn't ideal for family cruising with very young children, and I tend to agree.

No parent actually concerned for providing a decent quality of life for their partner and kids goes with a Rapido 60 for their boat choice. But I guess it's an easier decision to make when you can afford renting a house long-term wherever you want if you need room to breathe between passages. Ah that would be good.

Meanwhile, all of us here are pretty excited to see from the You Tube thumbnail, that our factory seems to have been relocated from the banks of a brown river to a beautiful, tropical archipelago! (At least the flying trimaran is real.)

I wasn't impressed with the boat, or the overweight managers overseeing all of it. Riley has some ideas for improvement of some of the systems.

When the boys get bigger they'll hate it. I'm sure they'll have been in atleast 3 different new boats for us to live/hate before the boys "get big". Hell, the boys will probably have their own boats by then 😂😂. I don't get why some of you guys complain so much about the new boat being a mistake.
