Bird Key Yacht Club provides an exclusive social club experience for our members with a wide array of outstanding amenities and social events focused around boating, dining and tennis in a beautiful waterfront setting. Although we’re located within the residential Bird Key neighborhood, members do not need to reside on the key to belong. Most of our members are just a short drive from Downtown, Longboat Key, Siesta and beyond.

Our motto, Anchored in Friendship, is alive and well and demonstrated every day. And although our name describes our geography, don’t assume it restricts our membership: whatever your address, you are welcome at Bird Key Yacht Club. We were here for a business lunch. The service was great, food was decent, and the view was wonderful during lunch.
Bird Key Yacht Club is located on the private island of Bird Key approx. 5 minutes from downtown or the famous shopping area of St Armunds Circle. Drive another 2 minutes and you are at Lido Beach or further down is Lido Park. BKYC is a private club offering a beautiful clubhouse, fine dining, tennis courts, huge pool, and work out facilities. In addition, members can rent a slip and keep their boat their for substantially less than a conventional marina. For the boater, they also have reciprocity with approximately 30 yacht clubs in Florida.
Attended a wine tasting at BKYC. Nice people and fantastic views.

Located just three miles from the main hotel on the beautiful white sand beaches of Lido Key, The Ritz-Carlton Beach Club offers guests a private Gulf of Mexico beach, a full array of distinctive beach activities, a zero-entry pool, elegant changing facilities and first-class dining. The Beach Club is open daily from 9 a.m. to sundown and is available exclusively to resort guests and members.
Accessibility and Transportation
Access to The Ritz-Carlton Beach Club is available exclusively to resort guests and members only. The Beach Club is located three miles from the main hotel on Lido Key. A complimentary shuttle runs hourly between the resort and the club beginning daily at 9 a.m.
Spend a day under the sun in our zero-entry outdoor pool, heated year-round for guest comfort. Depending on preference, a jacuzzi is also available steps from the pool. The pool offers a calming respite for guests and boasts an unmatched view of the shimmering waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
Ridley's Porch
Named for the rare Kemp’s ridley sea turtles that frequent our shores, this restaurant offers a relaxed waterfront dining experience centered on locally inspired dishes. Ridley's Porch is available exclusively to resort guests and members.
The Lido Key Tiki Bar
This authentic, open-air tiki bar is a Sarasota landmark and the perfect location to sip a tropical cocktail as the sun sets over the Gulf Coast. Hours of operation vary by season.
