Originally founded in 1993 under the name Walnut Grove- Capital City Yacht Club. Shortly after that, it became officially just “Capital City Yacht Club,” Capital City Yacht Club (CCYC) is now 100+ members strong and growing at a fast pace. As of 1996 CCYC has been accepted into the Pacific Inter- Club Yacht Association (PICYA), an association of reciprocal yachting clubs. CCYC was the first club accepted into PICYA in the second century of that organization. Based out of Sacramento Marina, CCYC is a organized as non- profit corporation with the traditional array of Officers and Directors.
