I took my Lund boat and 50 hp Mercury motor to Boats R Us to have some some work done. While going over the motor they saw that the fuel cooler was dripping a little water. There was an o-ring that was bulging from the bottom fitting on the air cooler and I was told that the entire fuel cooler would have to be replaced. Cost of the part was $550 which i paid up front but the part was on back order and I was told it would be be delivered in 2 weeks. Ten weeks later the part was still not in and I was told it would be at least another 4 weeks. Cancelled the order for the part and took my boat to another marine service that replaced the o-ring and my boat runs great now with no leaking at the fuel cooler. I don't know if this place is dishonest or just inept but I will never take anything back to Boats R Us.

I keep my boat here for indoor winter storage they come pick it up and drop it back off really convenient process! Clean environment friendly staff also they do all mechanical work as well. Highly recommend everything has been honest and transparent wouldnt want my boat stored anywhere else!

I dropped my boat off as scheduled, they did the work, and it works now. I use my boat on the Illinois river with barge traffic, and dams and locks so I needed it done right. They told me the price before doing the work, the price was exact when I paid. No fuss, they actually called me with updates too along the way. Will be coming back when needed.

I booked these guys last week - Tuesday. On Wednesday, they called and said they were busy but could be there Monday morning. Monday morning they called and said we want $150 to come to your boat. Now, if they had told me this last week - I would have picked another mechanic. Or if they had told me on Tuesday, I would have found another guy. But to ask for money before coming to the job after poor customer handling puts it over top. There are better mechanics out there. I will be going a different now.

Innovative solutions in the world of offshore powerboats. For the first time, RIB's advantages have been applied to a traditional powerboat. To protect the boat sides, an inflatable fender guard has been implemented. The boat perimeter is fully protected with a 300 mm inflatable balloon. Additional protected areas are located in places where there is contact with the mooring rope and at other points all around the boat. This solution enables the boat to function without standard fenders.
