AVIVA was built by the boat building company Abeking & Rasmussen , situated in Lower Saxony. Abeking & Rasmussen is a company aimed at engineering yachts, naval vessels, and cruise ships.

They were also responsible for building AVIVA’s sisters Elandess , Cloudbreak, and Excellence.

Reymond Langton Design was responsible for designing this gorgeous yacht. They are an award-winning company that prides itself on its creativity and passion with well over a decade of experience in the superyacht designing industry.

They were also responsible for creating the Serene superyacht and Nobiskrug yacht  Mogambo.

AVIVA Yacht Exterior

AVIVA’s exterior displays a sleek and modern all-blue design, distinctive among today’s superyachts. Notable outdoor facilities include a Jacuzzi, a large swimming pool, a helipad, and a spacious sundeck for relaxation and entertainment.

The yacht also boasts a collection of water toys, including jet skis, sea bobs, and inflatable slides for guests to enjoy.

AVIVA Yacht Interior

Designed by Reymond Langton Design in collaboration with Toby Silverton, AVIVA’s interior offers a contemporary and luxurious aesthetic. The yacht can accommodate up to 16 guests in eight state-of-the-art suites, complemented by a crew of 35.

The owner’s suite, located on the upper deck, features an office, private lounge, and a large en suite bathroom. The remaining guest cabins, consisting of two VIP suites and five double cabins, can be found on the main deck, each outfitted with en suite facilities.

AVIVA’s standout feature is a full-size padel tennis court, located in the lower deck. The yacht also features a beach club, a spa, a gym, a swimming pool, and an elevator connecting all the decks.

Similar to her sister yachts, she is also made of steel and has a solid superstructure made out of aluminum.

Powering this 98-meter-long superyacht are twin diesel-electric MTU engines capable of outputting 3,862 horsepower.

Along with her 364,705-litre fuel tanks, she can run comfortably at a speed of 14 knots and reach a max speed of 20 knots.

AVIVA can now comfortably accommodate 16 guests and carry up to 35 crew members after being refitted twice since its launch.

The estimated cost of AVIVA was around US $150 million. The annual running costs are estimated to be between US $12 to 15 million, based on usage.

68m Abeking & Rasmussen superyacht Aviva sold

The 67.9-metre Abeking & Rasmussen superyacht Aviva has been sold in an in-house deal with Pierre Vezilier at IYC .

Aviva was commissioned by a British businessman and delivered in 2007 as the flagship of German shipyard Abeking & Rasmussen . She was the second boat to bear the name after the owner upgraded from a 62-metre Feadship, and is the predecessor to the distinctive blue-hulled 98.4-metre Aviva , also from Abeking & Rasmussen.

She is voluminous for her size, offering 2,047GT within a 68-metre footprint, making her living space comparable to that of a 75- or 80-metre vessel. Used only privately, details are slim but she can accommodate up to 16 guests and features conference facilities, a beauty salon, a cinema, elevator and gym. Interiors are the work of British Studio Reymond Langton .

She was sold to "another experienced owner" and is expected to undertake an extensive refit and technological upgrade under her new ownership.

The asking price of Aviva has been withheld.

Joe Lewis ’ superyacht is on the move again after spending most of the past year holed up in a Mediterranean port while the British billionaire faced insider-trading charges in the US.

His 322-foot (98-meter) Aviva — which he put up as collateral for bail — has traveled more than 400 nautical miles from Malta to cities along Albania’s coast as well as the Greek island of Zakynthos since he was sentenced April 4 to three years probation, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.

Three Superyachts Visit the Dart.

This morning Dartmouth welcomed the 98m long superyacht ‘Aviva’ to our mainstream mooring buoys in the middle of the town. She joined the 66m long yacht ‘Elysian’ and regular visitor ‘Constance’, which is 47m long, to make a spectacular line up on the Dart.

Whilst superyacht calls are becoming more regular, with many yachts calling to pick up new tenders and support boats from local manufacturers Ribeye, as well as to allow their owners, crew and guest to enjoy the beauty of South Devon, this is the first time we have ever had three yachts of this size on the river. Our mainstream moorings, originally designed by the Admiralty for mooring warships, are extremely flexible and able to be configured to accommodate vessels from small yachts to cruise ships.

Aviva has a hybrid propulsion system, and arrived in port this morning entirely on battery propulsion. Arriving from Troon in Scotland, she entered the river under the guidance of our Pilot, turned at the Higher Ferry and launched a tender from the garage at the stern, before being moored by the harbour team.

Weather and circumstances depending, we expect all three yachts to remain in port until at least Thursday, giving plenty of opportunity for local people to see the boats on the river.

For nearly a decade, Democrats have tried to persuade voters that Donald Trump is a villain, a racist and a threat to democracy. Now, with Kamala Harris atop the ticket, the vice president and her allies are trying something new: They are looking to deflate him .

During this week’s Democratic convention in Chicago, party leaders have sought to paint Trump as a meanspirited fraud who cares only about himself and his billionaire friends. They have depicted him as an anti-union “scab” and a fake working man’s populist . The strategy is designed to erode Trump’s support among mostly white middle-class voters in states, like Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin, that could decide the election.

Tonight, Tim Walz will formally accept the nomination for vice president. Harris chose him as her running mate after his attempts to deflate Trump and other Republicans — by calling them “weird” — struck a chord with Democrats.

The U.S. added far fewer jobs than previously reported

The Labor Department announced today that monthly payroll figures had overstated U.S. job growth by roughly 818,000 in the 12 months that ended in March, an unusually large revision. The downward revision, of about 28 percent, was a sign that cracks in the labor market — which until recently appeared rock solid — are more severe than initially believed.

Israel and Hezbollah exchanged strikes

The Israeli military today launched airstrikes in Lebanon that it said had struck weapon-storage facilities used by Hezbollah , the Iranian-backed militia. In response, Hezbollah said it had targeted an Israeli military base in the Golan Heights.

The strikes by both sides highlighted how months of diplomatic efforts have failed to ease hostilities along the Israel-Lebanon border.

In this show, perfection is the expectation.

Every year, hundreds of college-age musicians compete in the drum corps world championship. Their 12-minute performances are beautiful arrangements of trumpets, flags, dancers and, of course, drums.

But the activity is not for the faint of heart. The rehearsals are grueling, and can last up to 12 hours a day. The performers pay thousands of dollars to compete. And once they turn 22, musicians are no longer eligible to compete. But for many participants, there’s something special about dedicating their life to creating perfection — and then leaving it all behind .

The exhibition annually shows high level of attendance and has already proved as significant and noteworthy event in the world of yachts and boats. Every year new exhibitors join the list of participants, genuine “sharks” of yachting business, the quantity of visitors considerably increases and the exposition becomes more sated and diverse.

The best companies professionally involved into yachting and small navigation business – 180 exhibitors from 17 regions of the Russian Federation and 15 countries traditionally presented the best and the newest in the world of yachting at 2011 edition: from design and facilitation of vessels and up to cruising and training courses for beginning skippers. In 2011 the overall exhibit space comprised 18 000 sq m. More than 25 000 visitors came to the show.

This year the exposition space will increase up to 30 000 sq m and will be accommodated in 4 exhibition halls. The scale of the project confirms confident positions of its positive development. The organizers will try to arrange a genuine fiesta of water on land!

Quite a number of foreign exhibitors will participate in the show. Foreign companies show increasing interest to yachting business in Russia.

Moscow Boat Show provides the perfect platform from which to preview new products, evaluate market trends, and establish long-lasting and commercially profitable partnerships. Despite the dynamic changes taking place in Russia and the rapid growth of the yachting sector, the show continues to complement and reflect the industry’s demand and is a promotional opportunity not to be missed!
