Le catamaran classe A, un esprit unique

Le Classe A se mène en solitaire, les libertés que donne la jauge lui ont permi d'être toujours à l'avant garde des innovations technologiques. Il en résulte un catamaran de sport à l'allure magnifique, impressionnant et performant autours de 3 bouées.

Cette gauge ouverte lui a permis d'être une des premières série de voile légère à s'équiper de foil. Les classes A volent maintenant au dessus de l'eau.

Un catamaran de sport est un bateau à voile à deux coques, léger et rapide. Il ne possède pas de cabine et embarque généralement une à trois personnes, pour de courtes durées. On l’utilise pour pratiquer la voile sportive, en loisir ou en compétition et il peut également être utilisé pour des raids côtiers. Les versions plus sportives sont équipées de trapèzes pour améliorer les performances. Comme la majorité des bateaux à voiles aujourd’hui, on trouve des catamarans de sport équipés de foils.

Le choix d’un catamaran de sport dépend largement de l’utilisation prévue. Il existe trois programmes principaux : le loisir, la compétition et le raid côtier.

Catamaran de sport de loisir : destiné à un large public, les débutants enfants et adultes peuvent profiter de cette pratique. Les catamarans de sport prévus pour une pratique en loisir sont assez faciles à utiliser avec des réglages de voile basiques. En général, ils ne disposent pas de trapèzes. On les trouve souvent en location sur les plages ou les lacs.

Catamaran de sport de régate  : destiné à des pratiquants confirmés. Ces bateaux sont utilisés pour régater sur des parcours délimités par des bouées ou des obstacles naturels avec l’objectif d’être le plus rapide possible. Ils sont dotés de systèmes de réglage avancés permettant d’ajuster les voiles le plus efficacement possible et comprennent généralement un ou plusieurs trapèzes pour augmenter le couple de rappel de l’équipage. Enfin, ils sont de plus en plus souvent équipés de foils pour améliorer encore leur performance.

Catamaran de sport de raid côtier : cette pratique consiste à naviguer pendant plusieurs jours en longeant les côtes et en s’arrêtant sur des plages pour passer la nuit. Le catamaran de sport est idéal pour cela car on peut facilement accoster et profiter du trampoline tendu entre les coques pour installer une tente de camping.

Vous aurez le choix entre les catamarans de sport en solitaire et ceux qui peuvent embarquer plusieurs personnes (la plupart du temps deux personnes).

Sur les modèles une place, le barreur étant seul, il doit à la fois contrôler la direction du bateau et effectuer le réglage des voiles. C’est pourquoi ces bateaux ne sont généralement équipés que d’une grand-voile. Pour pouvoir naviguer correctement, la pratiquant devra être expérimenté.

La plupart des catamarans de sport pour équipage multiple sont conçus pour transporter deux adultes à bord et sont appelés catamarans en double . Le plan de voilure est plus évolué avec une grand-voile, un foc et parfois un spinnaker, ce qui signifie que ce type d’embarcation offre plus de possibilités de réglage. Les catamarans de loisir peuvent parfois transporter trois adultes ou deux adultes et deux enfants.

Les pratiquants intermédiaires et confirmés peuvent utiliser des catamarans de sport équipés de trapèzes . Il s’agit de câbles fins qui relient l’équipage au mât. Le trapèze permet au pratiquant de faire du rappel, à savoir d’avoir le corps hors de l’embarcation tout en gardant les pieds sur la coque.

L’utilisation de trapèzes nécessite un apprentissage spécifique, mais une fois maîtrisée, les sorties au trapèze permettent d’améliorer sensiblement les performances. Les sensations des pratiquants sont également décuplées par la position au-dessus de l’eau.

Tous les catamarans de sport de compétition sont équipés d’ un ou deux trapèzes . Lorsqu’il n’y en a qu’un seul, il est normalement destiné au poste de régleur tandis que le barreur reste assis sur la coque ou le trampoline.

Comme nous l’avons vu, le nombre de pratiquants a une grande influence sur les voiles qui peuvent être utilisées, un solitaire ne pouvant gérer que difficilement un bateau équipé de plus d’une voile. De nombreux catamarans de sport en solitaire utilisés pour la régate sont uniquement équipés d’une grand-voile de grande surface, ce qui permet de conserver un bon niveau de puissance et de performance.

En double, le bateau sera généralement équipé, en plus de la grand-voile, d’un foc et parfois aussi d’un spinnaker, le plus souvent asymétrique . Dans cette configuration, le bateau sera très puissant dans toutes les conditions de vent et offrira les meilleures performances.

Aujourd’hui, l’usage des foils se démocratise dans de nombreuses pratiques de la navigation à la voile. Les catamarans de sport à foils représentent le dernier développement technique en termes de performances. Les foils peuvent être de différentes formes (C, L, S, T, etc.) et ils sont toujours accompagnés de safrans à plan porteur qui permettent de contrôler le “vol”. 

L’utilisation de foils augmente considérablement le niveau technique requis et, bien qu’il existe des modèles destinés à un large public, la plupart de ces bateaux ne peuvent être utilisés que par des pratiquants confirmés. Cet équipement sophistiqué est également coûteux à développer et à produire, c’est pourquoi les catamarans de sport à foils sont plus chers que les versions classiques (qu’ils soient équipés ou non d’une dérive).

L’utilisation des catamarans de sport nécessite de nombreux équipements pour le bateau lui-même ainsi que pour l’utilisateur. En voici une liste non exhaustive :

• Une remorque est nécessaire pour transporter le bateau et le mettre à l’eau.
• Les voiles sont indispensables ! Tous les catamarans de sport disposent d’une grand-voile, certains sont également pourvus d’un foc et d’un spinnaker.
• L’accastillage doit être adapté aux voiles : poulies, manilles, bloqueurs, taquets et bouts. Sur les plus grands modèles, on trouvera également des winchs.
• Une housse de protection peut s’avérer indispensable si le bateau est stocké en extérieur.
• Pour les pratiquants, les combinaisons sont souvent nécessaires pour éviter de prendre froid.
• Compte tenu des vitesses élevées possibles, les pratiquants portent de plus en plus de casques ainsi que des équipements de protection intégrés à leurs combinaisons.
• Des gants et des chaussons en néoprène sont également recommandés pour une utilisation plus intensive.

Les meilleurs catamarans de sport

Nous sommes nombreux à avoir appris la voile sur des catamarans de sport. Ces multicoques légers sont des voiliers parfait pour apprendre la voile, se perfectionner ou s’amuser, suivant les modèles. Comment choisir son petit multicoque et quels sont les meilleurs catamarans de sport, en fonction d son programme de navigation ?

Le premier voilier, en école de voile, est généralement l’Optimist . Mais assez rapidement, il y a deux écoles : ceux qui veulent continuer sur du monocoque et ceux qui veulent prendre de la hauteur, sur des multicoques levant la coque en l’air. Et c’est vrai que ces catamarans légers ont de sacrés arguments, surtout quand on aime la vitesse.

Ils sont généralement utilisés par les écoles de voile, pour la régate, mais aussi le raid côtier et le plaisir de la navigation rapide.

Certains catamarans peuvent parfois être équipés de foils pour améliorer leur stabilité et leur vitesse. Ils peuvent être manœuvrés par un équipage de un à plusieurs membres, en fonction de leur taille et de leur configuration.

Votre choix de catamaran de sport dépendra votre programme de navigation et de son utilisation. Le nombre de personnes à bord devra aussi être pris en compte.

Solitaire yacht description.

A 2020 launch, the brand new luxury sailing catamaran Sunreef 50 SOLITAIRE will join the Croatia charter fleet. This stunning yacht not only features a smart and charter-friendly layout but boasts some impressive social areas at the bow, stern cockpit and flybridge. Whether you are vacationing with your family or want to reunite with your friends this spacious and powerful catamaran is hard to beat. Sunreef 50 SOLITAIRE comfortably accommodates 8 in 4 spacious elegant guest cabins all ensuite, with separate cabins for crew. In each cabin, there is A/C unit with individual controls, plugs, adaptors, 4 pillows, quilt and complimentary bottled water. At every bathroom, guests will find bath towels, hand towels, cosmetic tissues, hair dryer, complimentary L’occitane toiletry. The cockpit is stocked with beach towels and complimentary sunscreen lotion. SOLITAIRE is available in Croatia from May 2020 from Split, and as the optional pick-up/pick off port Dubrovnik. The crew of two (captain & stewardess/cook), all trained professional with experience in their fields, will make You feel like you are on your own yacht and make sure you have the privacy but still be catered to.

Offered by DMA Yachting, the astonishing charter yacht SOLITAIRE is a 50 ft sailing catamaran. SOLITAIRE spends the summer season in Croatia. She was constructed by the renowned boatbuilder Sunreef Yachts in 2020. The expansive yacht layout features 4 cozy cabins and comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests.

SOLITAIRE is introduced primarily as a sailing catamaran. The the core layout is spread out from the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck is expansive, with a comfortable dining and seating area and that's where most of the meals are served. The immersive cabins are located in the 2 massive hulls. The cabins are connected by stairs to the main saloon - roomy, comfortable and pleasant. Multiple portholes offer desirable views, while providing privacy if needed.

The sailboat features 2 X Yanmar 4JH80 Engine Power 2 X 58.8 kW Power generator 220 V 17,5 Kw engines and a generator.

CAPTAIN BOŽO PAVLOVIĆ (Born 1982) With the degree from the University of Physical education and sport, majoring in SAILING, Bozo can teach You everything about the skill and art of sailing. During his student time, Bozo supported himself working as a skipper on different yachts up to 50bt, gaining experience that will lead him to a permanent captain position on the new SUNREEF YACHT MODEL SUREEF 50 SOLITAIRE. Last few winters Bozo spent employed as the Physical Education teacher in elementary school in his hometown of Ploce, Croatia. Captain Bozo absolutely loves his job and takes pride in his work, He is extremely hard-working, displaying both a committed and flexible approach with strong people skills. He has an outgoing personality, is good with children, and always a great disposition. His interests include sport, traveling, and underwater photography. Languages: English, Croatian Previous Yachts: S/Y Arctic Prince Favorite place on the Adriatic Coast: Vis & Mljet. STEWARDESS/COOK MARTINA IVANKOVIĆ Martina was born and raised in Zagreb. She got to express her creativity and imagination by attending courses at University of Zagreb, Faculty of Textile Technology, and obtaining her Masters degree in Costume design. She has had great experience working in organizing and managing positions, leading her to improve her social and customer service skills. Martina worked in Spain as an entertainer at Abora Interclub, where she learned a lot about multitasking and improvisation, which she can now apply to her position on SOLITAIRE. She also gained experience in booking and sales working as an agent. Her yacht experience included supervising a fleet of different categories to ensure client satisfaction, quality of yacht services, and hospitality level of onboard representatives exceeding customer needs. With her vast working experience, she can provide a creative, energetic, and responsible approach to guests. Martina loves sports activities as much as reading and writing. Hard-working and having an eye for detail, she is extremely motivated to constantly develop her skills and grow professionally, customer satisfaction is what drives her to give her best performance. Favorite place on the Adriatic coast: Martina says it is very hard to decide on one place on the Adriatic coastline, especially the island. However, Mljet makes it on the top of the list with its stunning views, crystal clear waters, and salty lakes. I ve visited the whole Adriatic coastline from Umag to Prevlaka and this is Heaven on Earth.

Most expenses are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), a fund that is added on top of the charter price. The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption). You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled). A 2020 launch, the brand new luxury sailing catamaran Sunreef 50 SOLITAIRE will join the Croatia charter fleet. This stunning yacht not only features a smart and charter-friendly layout but boasts some impressive social areas at the bow, stern cockpit and flybridge. Whether you are vacationing with your family or want to reunite with your friends this spacious and powerful catamaran is hard to beat. Sunreef 50 SOLITAIRE comfortably accommodates 8 in 4 spacious elegant guest cabins all ensuite, with separate cabins for crew. In each cabin, there is A/C unit with individual controls, plugs, adaptors, 4 pillows, quilt and complimentary bottled water. At every bathroom, guests will find bath towels, hand towels, cosmetic tissues, hair dryer, complimentary L’occitane toiletry. CAPTAIN BOŽO PAVLOVIĆ (Born 1982) With the degree from the University of Physical education and sport, majoring in SAILING, Bozo can teach You everything about the skill and art of sailing. During his student time, Bozo supported himself working as a skipper on different yachts up to 50bt, gaining experience that will lead him to a permanent captain position on the new SUNREEF YACHT MODEL SUREEF 50 SOLITAIRE. Last few winters Bozo spent employed as the Physical Education teacher in elementary school in his hometown of Ploce, Croatia. Captain Bozo absolutely loves his job and takes pride in his work, He is extremely hard-working, displaying both a committed and flexible approach with strong people skills. He has an outgoing personality, is good with children, and always a great disposition. His interests include sport, traveling, and underwater photography. Languages: English, Croatian Previous Yachts: S/Y Arctic Prince Favorite place on the Adriatic Coast: Vis & Mljet. STEWARDESS/COOK MARTINA IVANKOVIĆ Martina was born and raised in Zagreb. She got to express her creativity and imagination by attending courses at University of Zagreb, Faculty of Textile Technology, and obtaining her Masters degree in Costume design. She has had great experience working in organizing and managing positions, leading her to improve her social and customer service skills. Martina worked in Spain as an entertainer at Abora Interclub, where she learned a lot about multitasking and improvisation, which she can now apply to her position on SOLITAIRE. Catamaran de sport en Solitaire : 16 pieds ou 18 pieds

Je me présente. Je m'appelle Pierre, j'ai 45 ans. Je réside dans notre belle région des Hauts-de-France, plus précisément dans le département du Pas-de-Calais.

À la lecture des différentes rubriques que comporte le forum depuis quelques mois, je franchis aujourd'hui le pas de l'inscription.

Par le passé, j'ai navigué en double sur un catamaran Hobie Cat 16. Il y a de cela 20 ans. Les navigations se déroulaient alors en mer, dans le département de la Seine-Maritime. Cet été, mon épouse et moi-même étions en voyage dans le département des Pyrénées-Atlantiques. Ainsi, 5 séances de navigation sur un Hobie Cat 18 ont été l'occasion pour moi de réactiver certains mécanismes. Et de peaufiner les manoeuvres. Après 20 ans :) Les principales manoeuvres sont maintenant maîtrisées.

L'idée faisant son chemin depuis quelques temps, je suis désormais à la recherche d'un catamaran de sport. De 16 pieds à 18 pieds. Mon épouse n'ayant pas le pied marin, la navigation se fera exclusivement EN SOLITAIRE.

Voici les éléments clés :

La LARGEUR du catamaran sur remorque de route ne doit pas dépasser 2M55. À chaque sortie en mer, le catamaran sera transporté non-démonté (hors mât) sur une remorque de route tractée par mon véhicule.

La catamaran sera mis à l'eau par l'intermédiaire d'une DESCENTE À BATEAUX.

Le MÂTAGE et le DÉMÂTAGE devront impérativement être réalisés SEUL. Sans l'assistance d'une tierce personne. Pour rappel, la navigation se fera en solitaire. Dans le cas de l'achat d'un Hobie Cat 16, une charnière pour la base de mât sera acquise. Cela évitera que le mât, lorsqu'il sera hissé, ne balance excessivement de droite et de gauche.

Selon vous, le Mâtage d'un catamaran de 16 pieds à 18 pieds est réalisable par 1 Personne ? Joe, animateur de la chaîne YouTube JOYRIDER TV (navigue en Grèce sur différents supports) démontre dans un épisode que cela est possible seul. La solution : Utiliser la drisse de foc. (* Youtube JOYRIDER TV).

Qu'en pensez-vous ? Quelles solutions sont à privilégier ?

Concernant l'opération de ressalage après dessalage, l'achat d'un FLOTTEUR pour la tête de mât est prévu.

L'achat d'un SAC ÉTANCHE grand volume - 40 litres - pourra être à l'étude. Il serait passé derrière mon dos. Je mesure 1M82 et pèse 80 Kg.

Je recherche un catamaran de sport :

• 16 pieds à 18 pieds
• Sportif (exit la randonnée :) )
• Dont les performances soient égales ou dépassent celles du Hobie Cat 16. Dans mes souvenirs, la navigation en double est vraiment sensationnelle sur ce catamaran.
• Adapté à la navigation en solitaire
• Navigation au trapèze
• Construction de moins de 15 ans

Budget = jusqu'à 7000 €.

MODÈLES DE CATAMARANS :

Hobie Cat 16 : Ses coques bananées ont tendance à enfourner. Catamaran à vocation sportive. Modèle robuste. En solitaire, la navigation sans le foc est-elle possible ? Certains naviguent avec le foc en solitaire. À étudier.

• Hobie Cat FX One

Hobie Cat 17 : Il semble que ces catamarans aient peu été diffusés. Peut-être, y-a-t'il des difficultés en matière d'approvisionnement de pièces détachées.

Dart 18 : Modèle robuste. Stable, moins sujet au dessalage que le Hobie Cat 16. Plus léger que le Hobie Cat 16. Moins sensationnel que le Hobie Cat 16. Catamaran toilé comme un 16 pieds. Marin. Adapté à la navigation en solitaire.

Il s'agit du mâtage d'un catamaran Hobie Cat 16 en solitaire. Sans l'assistance d'une tierce personne.

En guise d'introduction, parlons franc: pourquoi un (trop) grand 16'/18' en solitaire (pas assez de poids) et à ton âge de +40 (souplesse)? J'ai été propriétaire successivement de plusieurs HB 14' et 16' et j'ai navigué de-ci de-là sur toute la gamme. J'ai le même gabarit que toi, mais 15 ans de plus. De prime abord et rapidement sans trop de réflexion, je dirais pour les HB transportables que je connais: Tu veux des sensations en HB? pourquoi ne pas opter pour le 14' en Turbo (foc): polyester à entretenir, léger, rapide, ne pardonne rien, enfourne pour un oui ou un non, mais se remet debout assez facilement seul (bouée tête de mât). Bref: adrénaline pour égoïste. Exhilarating. Tu veux de la ballade musclée mais stable en HB? Pourquoi ne pas opter pour le Getaway 16': PE inusable, plus lourd, rapide, rarement enfourné et reposant avec ses ailes. Bref: tu parviendras à ce que ce bateau finisse par aimer ton épouse... Sensationnal. Qu'en penses-tu?

j'ai eu 2 dart 18 avec lesquels je ne faisais que de la régate. les dart se transportent démontés mais la remorque spécifique de france catamaran avait un kit permettant le transport monté (bien sur au gabarit routier). pour le matage le dart a un trou dans la rotule et le mat et en y mettant un axe idoine vendu avec le bateau çà permet de bloquer le mat et de le mater seul. le flotteur en tête de mat est inutile puisque le mat est étanche et si par malheur tu fais chapeau il existe un bout de ressalage qui permet de le remettre à l'horizontale d'abord puis à l'endroit. la navigation en solitaire se fait sans foc et il existe un stick spécial plus long pour barrer du trapèze. coté performances il me semble me rappeler que dans les régates inter séries ont courait avec les H16. coté solidité c'est du polyester donc à l'envers-ce du 16 ils n'est pas fait pour ramasser sur une plage de cailloux ! bref je dirais que c'est pile poil ton programme. un seul bémol, il me semble commun à tous les cata : à l'inverse des dériveurs (solo ou duo) je ne crois pas qu'il existe de chariots de mise à l'eau qui s'installent sur la remorque de route. çà sous entend que quand tu arrive avec ta voiture en haut de la cale il te faut trouver un voire deux personnes pour transférer le bateau de la remorque de route au chariot de mise à l'eau.

ah le correcteur auto : à l'inverse du 16 il n'est pas fait pour racasser......!

Bien vu l'importance des cailloux, jcl. Au fait Pierre_80, quelle zone de navigation? "80": Manche uniquement ou baie de Somme également?

Le nombre 80 ne fait pas référence au département où se situe mon lieu de résidence. Je réside dans le département du Pas-de-Calais :)

La zone de navigation sera la suivante : Dunkerque, Calais, Boulogne-sur-Mer.

Par le passé, entre mes 20 ans et 24 ans, j'ai navigué en double sur un Hobie Cat 16 dans la Manche. À une ou deux reprises s'est présentée l'occasion de naviguer sur un HOBIE CAT 14. Cette occasion je l'ai donc saisie. La navigation en mer s'est déroulée en double avec mon cousin, alors âgé de 11 ans et pèsant environ 30 Kg. À l'époque j'étais fluet, mon poids était de 65 Kg.

BILAN : Le catamaran semblait couler dans l'eau - en grossissant le trait. On ne peut pas dire que le catamaran Hobie Cat 14 était particulièrement véloce. Le Hobie Cat 14 Turbo a l'avantage d'être équipé d'un foc à enrouleur et d'un trapèze. En toute honnêteté, je doute que ce catamaran de sport soit celui que je convoite.

Le catamaran HOBIE CAT Gateway 16 est équipé d'un trampoline avant et d'ailes. Sa production, si je ne me trompe pas, s'est arrêtée en 2008. Il semble que ce catamaran soit davantage orienté loisir que sport.

• Qu'en penses-tu ?

Effectivement, le catamaran DART 18 possède de nombreuses qualités.

• Le mâtage en solitaire est possible. Le fait que le mât soit étanche m'était inconnu. Merci.
• La navigation en solitaire est permise.
• Le catamaran est stable, peu sujet au dessalage.
• Il est plus léger que le Hobie Cat 16.
• Point négatif : Les coques du Dart 18 sont plus fragiles que celles du Hobie Cat 16. Surtout lors de coups de vent, ou en cas de chocs contre un Hobie Cat 16 - j'en ai fait l'expérience dans ma jeunesse :) Alors que la coque du Hobie Cat 16 ne comptait que peu de dégâts, la coque du Dart 18 était sérieusement endommagée.

Concernant le transport du DART 18 non-démonté sur la remorque de route France Catamaran, le catamaran était-il positionné à l'horizontal ? À tout hasard, aurais-tu une photographie de la remorque de route dont il est question, avec le kit adapté ?

Quelle méthode pour transporter le chariot de mise à l'eau lors d'un convoyage en voiture et remorque de route ?

Peut-on démonter le chariot de mise à l'eau et le fixer (en pièces détachées) sur les barres de toit qui équipent les véhicules ?

Un classe A me semble inadapté à mon besoin. Conçu pour la navigation en solitaire à la recherche de performances, il est trop pointu.

je n'ai plus de photos du bateau et de la remorque. la remorque de france catamaran a été développée de façon très maline (simple et costaud) à l'époque par lucien gourmez le fondateur du chantier et régatier émérite. la remorque dispose d'un coffre au milieu pour mettre le matos. moi je l'avais faite en contreplaqué mais elle existe toute faite. les deux coques sont enfilées par le coté (emplacement des poutres) sur la remorque, et le chariot de mise à l'eau est démontable (deux tubes en galva qui vont dans la caisse et deux roues de voitures fixées à un emplacement spécial sur la remorque). sinon le kit de transport monté (à plat étrave vers l'avant) s'est peu vendu car les dartistes faisaient (font) beaucoup de régates. les points à vérifier sont : l'état du trampoline qui peut cuire avec le sel et le soleil) le foc qui s'use assez vite (si on fait de la régate), et les haubans et étai à surveiller voire changer (pas cher). a mon avis le bon plan est de voir chez france catamaran car ils ont un stock de bateaux d'occasion qui sont toujours révisés et ils sont de très bon conseil. www.france-catamaran.com[...]

Selon vous, le mâtage d'un catamaran Hobie Cat 16 est-il réalisable en solitaire ? Sans l'assistance d'une tierce personne.

Joe, animateur de la chaîne YouTube JOYRIDER TV (navigue en Grèce sur différents supports) démontre dans un épisode que cela est possible seul.

La solution : Utiliser la drisse de foc.

Le dart 18 a une remorque de mise à l'eau démontable et qui va bien dans le coffre. Par contre tout seul à remonter le bateau sur le sable, impossible, mais comme tous les catas sauf le classe A. Dèjà à 2 j'avais du mal

Bien vu franky. il faut remettre l'église au centre du village : et d'une sur la plage ou la cale 120 kg de mémoire bonjour la remontée, et de deux pour le kit de transport monté, il sous entend de soulever le bateau entier pour le poser sur la remorque. ca veut 3 personnes mini. 2 à la poutre avant et un à la poutre arrière et soulever le bazar de 80 cm pour passer au dessus de la remorque. il est grand temps que ta femme se remette à la voile !!!! ton problème de tout faire en solo ne semble pas compatible avec le support que tu voudrais.

La mise à l'eau / sortie de l'eau du catamaran se fera par l'intermédiaire d'une descente à bateaux. À de rares occasions par le sable. Je n'exclue pas l'intervention d'une aide extérieure. Une personne de passage ou mettant à l'eau son hors-bord :)

Mon épouse souffre d'aquaphobie. Il s'agit de la peur panique de l'eau suite à un traumatisme passé. Cela se traite notamment au moyen de séances de relaxation effectuées en piscine.

Je t'invite à visionner cette vidéo sur YouTube (à l'origine consacré au matage d'un catamaran NACRA 570).

Dans cette vidéo, on y présente le convoyage d'une voiture et d'une remorque de route portant un Nacra 570.

• On peut y voir un chariot de mise à l'eau adapté à la remorque de route en question. L'opération de chargement - déchargement du catamaran sur la remorque de route semble relativement aisée.

Le Dart 16 présente de nombreuses qualités. Un peu moins toilé qu'un Hobie Cat 16 Race. Mais les coques sont en polyéthylène.

En fait quand je lis cette discussion je me dis que ce qu’il te faudrait c’est un laser.

Cela marche fort un laser en plus, j’ai fait des sorties conjointes hc16 dart16 laser, et bien le laser s’en sortait bien.

Sûrement plus difficile à trouver mais un RS Aero est plus facile à gérer qu'un Laser. Voir sur Wanaboat.fr ,dériveur à foils: En cata, le Shadow de Sirena 99 kg, 4.80m, 2.40 de large est un solitaire performant, mais sûrement dur à trouver.

En mono: le Maverick ? Même fabricant GB que le Topper légendaire, design italien, en PE indestructible; ça doit mouiller beaucoup, mais au planning ça doit être bluffant au ras de l'eau. Autre avantage: car-toppable (pas besoin de remorque sauf misalo) et c'est dans le budget, même en neuf !

Cela m'avait traversé l'esprit. Désormais, c'est acté : La Mise à l'eau du catamaran se fera en descendant la cale à bateaux avec la remorque de route et mon véhicule. La remorque de route sera noyée dans l'eau.

Un entretien plus régulier de la remorque de route, notamment un nettoyage / graissage des roulements, sera prévu.

Effectivement, je privilégie les catamarans de sport aux dériveurs et dériveurs avec foils.

Le catamaran SIRENA Shadow présente de nombreuses qualités. À étudier.

Il semble peu présent sur le marché de la seconde main.

Je vous remercie pour votre participation. Le projet d'achat se concrétisera l'année prochaine.

Entre temps, cela sera l'occasion de parfaire ma technique lors de séances de navigation en club de voile. Je pourrai faire l'expérience de différents supports, et déterminer s'ils sont compatibles avec la navigation en solitaire.

En ce qui concerne les HB et pour rebondir sur ce que disent pierreyves et Polmar, j'ai souvent pris le meilleur des 2 mondes: en solo, les coques du 16' et le grément du 14'T . Le 14'Turbo (+foc) manque de volume de coque. Le 16' est hyper puissant, trop en solo et sinon sous GV seule, on perd en dynamique de surface évidemment mais surtout on perd l'avantage aérodynamique de création de vent apparent par l'interaction foc-voile dans le tunnel sur les allures de près et largue.

Si on fait un mix "coque 16'-gréement 14'T": - On préserve la flottabilité en avant du trampoline, - on hisse une surface (GV+F) maîtrisable par un homme seul et surtout - on maintient l'avantage de l'interactivité foc-voile dans le tunnel en créant encore plus de vent apparent (phénomène inexistant sous GV seule) - Cerise sur le gâteau, on est plus manœuvrant lors du virement.

Cela fonctionne très bien. Je le faisais d'office en solo. Je n'éliminerais pas le HB16 de la short-list si on le grée en 14'Turbo. Juste un peu de travail de réglage de longueur des haubans et de l'étai (mais il y a les ridoirs pour ça), le pied de mât est identique, idem pour l'accastillage.

J'ajouterai que pour un budget de 7 K€, tu trouves facilement en occasion 2 bateaux à mixer en privilégiant la dépense sur le choix des coques du 16' qui ne doivent pas être délaminées évidemment. Quitte à vendre le surplus en pièces détachées et alléger ainsi le budget (ou tu cherches une GV + 1 Foc de 14'T que tu grées sur ton mât de 16'). Ceci pour faire face au coût supplémentaire de la remorque à moyeux étanches puisque la mise à l'eau sur cale est la solution que tu as retenu. Un peu de graisse ne suffira pas, il faut qu'ils soient parfaitement étanches et ça a un coût.

je suis utilisateur de Dart18 en solo (et en double) et clairement tout est possible en solitaire. Ma remorque est pour le transport assemblé (c est le seul truc trop compliqué en solo ) la remorque de mise à l eau à grosse roues se glisse sous les etraves et n a pas besoin d étre démonté. Le passage de route à misalo se fait sans soucis.

Le matage avec la goupille ne pose pas de problèmes si on fait attention au sens du vent et de la pente. Le ressalage seul est possible à partir de 70 KG, (en dessous je conseille d'avoir sac à eau d une 10 aine de litres)

Il m'a fallu 1 Heure hier entre l'arrivée et le prêt à naviguer ( les trucs qui peuvent prendre du temps: retirer les tauds de route, mettre la bonne tension dans le trampoline , démêler les haubans, tendre les lattes de GV) En terme de perf, il n y a qu'a regarder la calculatrice de rating pour voir qu'entre le dart 18 solo et le HC18 sans spi, il n'y a que 80 secondes par heure de différence donc c'est quasiment aussi performant (tu auras du mal à le suivre si ils sont en double trap, sinon pas de différence)

1h pour greer 1 h pour degreer.

Reste combien de temps pour naviguer.

Et surtout quelle energie et quel plaisir?

Chacun fait ce qu’il veut mais je trouve (j’ai fait 3 années de cata à Fort Mahon) que seul sur ce genre de plage, c’est se préparer à de belles galères voire pire.

On ne parle pas de prendre un cata déjà pres sur la plage de Saint Evette ou sur la cale d’Aradon.

Perso, je n'ai pas l'expérience d'une mise à l'eau de mes HC à partir d'un slipway: trop aléatoire en termes d'orientation du vent ou d'état de la mer. C'est mieux la plage. Mais est-ce plus secure si le slipway dispose d'un quai/pilotis en prolongement pour y accoster et gréer/affaler avant rechargement sur remorque? C'est peut être ce dont disposerai Pierre_80 dans son coin?

Mais chez HC, on est un peu barge, c'est connu. Vu sur les lacs transalpins une mise à l'eau "rapide" d'un HC à partir d'une cale (bon d'accord, c'est des hollandais... Mes voisins):

Solitaire was commissioned by the happy owners of a previous LOMOcean design, the 11m, 40 knot power catamaran Aquavette.

Inspired by the performance and sea keeping of the smaller boat, the New Zealand based couple wanted a larger, extended family oriented boat whilst spending more time on the water, cruising, fishing and diving around the North Islands Coromandel peninsula, Great Barrier Island and beyond.

Although only 3m longer than Aquavette, Solitaire offers nearly three times the interior volume using an unusual interior arrangement that is almost Tardis-like; the boat feels much bigger than her exterior dimensions would suggest, with a huge master cabin with ensuite to port and two guest cabins to starboard that share the day head and shower.

Also quite novel is the aft location of the helm station in the saloon, which affords a view of all four corners of the boat from the very comfortable helm seat and allows the skipper who can often be isolated from the rest of the party on a flying bridge – to interact with those seated at the dinette directly in front of the helm, or in the adjacent galley space.

Twin Caterpillar C12s offer a heavy ship sprint speed of 30 knots, yet the boat has a range of over 500 nautical miles at 25 knots from her semi-displacement hull forms and that increases to over 1000 nautical miles at 9 10 knots. The boat is well equipped with generator set, water maker, air conditioning, dive compressor, night vision camera and entertainment systems; there aren’t too many toys left on the shelf to put on this boat…
