Get to Know the Season 2 Cast of Below Deck Sailing Yacht
The ship's about to hit the fan.
Get ready to set sail—after a polarizing first season , Below Deck: Sailing Yacht is coming back yet again for Season 2 on Monday, March 1. And while Sailing's favorite captain Glenn Shephard is returning to the Mediterranean with his trusty boat Parsifal III, this time, he's bringing with him a whole new crew.
This season, we'll be introduced to several yachtie amateurs and experienced professionals alike, including one stew who comes from a family of yachties and a chef who worked in the kitchens of Michelin-starred restaurants. But before the wild season premieres, let's get to know the charter crew of Parsifal III, ready to make a splash on a television screen near you.
"Below Deck: Sailing Yacht" is back for a second season starting March 1st at 9PM ET.
Daisy Kelliher
Position: Chief Stew
Instagram: @daisykelliher87
As chief stew, Irish born and bred Daisy is no stranger to the world of yachting—she comes from a family full of them. While she does have a legacy to uphold upon the Parsifal III, as we'll soon learn, she's no stranger to letting loose from time to time.
Daniele "Dani" Soares
Position: Second Stew
Instagram: @iamdanisoares
As Parsifal III's second stew, Dani has more than than eight years' of experience on yachts. Yes, she's great at her job, but she also admits having a sensitive side to her, which can sometimes get in the way of getting the job done.
Position: Third Stew
Instagram: @allidoreporfavor
A relative newbie to yachting, Dore is hoping to gain more experience on the Parsifal III. Safe to say we can already predict some discord amongst the interior crew, based on their varying experience levels.
Natasha De Bourg
Position: Chef
Instagram: @living_vicariously_through_me
Parsifal III's new chef Natasha comes to the yacht with years of European culinary experience at Michelin-star establishments. She has sharp skills, which are only matched by her sharp tongue.
Colin Macrae
Position: Chief Engineer
Instagram: @parlayrevival
As this season's chief engineer, Colin has eight years of yachting experience under his belt. He also has a popular YouTube channel following his sea adventures.
Position: First Mate
Instagram: @king_gk
As this season's first mate, Gary comes aboard the Parsifall III with over a decade of experience on both small boats and super yachts. As of June 2019, it appears he was in a relationship...which may or may not change when he's onboard the Parsifal.
Jean-Luc Cerza Lanaux
Position: Deckhand
Instagram : @jeanluc_cerza_lanaux
Although he's technically the youngest crew member about Parsifal III at 25, it doesn't mean Jean-Luc isn't familiar with yachts. A former football player, the 6'8" deckhand has some experience working hard to achieve his goals.
Sydney Zaruba
Instagram: @sydney_zaruba
As the lone female deckhand this season, Sydney isn't afraid to jump in to help. Previously, Sydney worked for her family's boat business.
Captain Glenn Shephard
Position: Captain
Instagram: @bigsailboats
Back for his sophomore season on the beloved boat franchise, Captain Glenn is still the calm and laid-back leader we all loved last year. But his crew members better watch out—despite his chill exterior, he's not afraid to give a piece of his mind when needed.

'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' Season 2 Has A Whole New Crew That You're Gonna Want to Meet
Can someone tell me how to book a charter?
It's been far too long since we've had new episodes of Below Deck Sailing Yacht , but the Bravo gods have answered our prayers, because we're getting a whole new season. Captain Glenn will, of course, be back with his swanky yacht, the Parsifal III, but this season, we'll be getting an entirely new crew so you can kiss goodbye all of that Jenna/Adam drama and also all of the Jenna/Madison drama. Are we seeing a pattern here?? Anyway!
From the season 2 trailer it looks like the new cast is going to be bringing it. We've got some total yacht newbies and some seasoned pros, which you just know is going to cause plenty of drama. I've also got my fingers crossed for some slightly less cringe-y charter guests (I'm looking at you, Long Island party bros and that one guy who got blackout right before his wedding) . H ere's everything you need to know about the new season 2 crew.
Chief Stew: Daisy Kelliher
Daisy is an Irish-born gal who's jumping into the chief stew role. But just because she's a boss doesn't mean she's not looking to have a good time, too. Daisy already spilled some tea on the upcoming season during an IG live with Below Deck Mediterranean Season 4 crew member Anastasia Surmava. She said we can expect "a lot of partying, a lot of sex, a lot of drama, a lot of tears." Here's hoping that means things will be a little less intense than last season.
Second Stew: Daniele "Dani" Soares
Dani started out her yachting career in France ( ooh la la ) and has been in the yachting game for the past eight years. She can "let her feelings get the best of her," according to Bravo , which can only mean one thing: she's going to bring some clutch drama.
Third Stew: Alli Dore
Alli is an Aussie girl who's had a little bit of experience working on boat exteriors but is looking to make the move inside as a steward. She'll definitely have a lot to learn from Dani and Daisy.
First Mate: Gary King
Gary and his flowing locks have actually worked as a captain on some smaller boats before, so he should have no problem keeping the deck team in shape as the Parsifal's first mate. According to Bravo , he's got a tendency for casual flirtations to turn into real feelings, which as we all know always works out super well with coworkers in enclosed spaces.
Deckhand: Sydney Zaruba
Sydney's the only woman on the deck crew this season, and she's got plenty of experience thanks to her family's boat business. She also apparently gets caught up in a controversial boatmance this season, which I cannot wait for.
Deckhand: Jean-Luc Cerza Lanaux
Jean-Luc might be the baby of the boat at just 25 years old, but he's almost seven feet tall (!!) so if nothing else, watching him try to sleep in those teeny tiny bunks will be very interesting.
Chef: Natasha De Bourg
Chef Natasha is originally from Trinidad and went to culinary school in Europe before working in Michelin star restaurants, so I'm betting her food is going to look SO good. Bravo also teased that we can expect a little chef/first stew tension between her and Daisy. Yikes!
Chief Engineer: Colin Macrae
Colin is this season's chief engineer and not only does he have pretty eyes but he's also got eight years of experience under his belt, so he definitely knows his way around a boat. He can also be heard in the trailer saying "Everyone's in party mode," and "This is gonna get crazy," and omg I really hope that's true.
Captain: Glenn Shephard
Of course we can't forget about everyone's favorite captain, Captain Glenn. He's (usually) cool, calm, and collected, but RIP to anyone who allows this man's boat hit the dock because he will NOT be having it.

The Below Deck Sailing Yacht Crew Had Their Hands Full With Memorable AF Charter Guests
Take a closer look at the entertaining charter guests from may 17's episode of below deck sailing yacht ..
The Below Deck Sailing Yacht crew just couldn't catch a break.
On the Monday, May 17 episode, Captain Glenn Shephard and company scrambled to assess the damage following last week's boat crash . Although the situation wasn't great, they were able to do a quick cosmetic fix since the transom door was able to open.
The drama didn't stop there as deckhand Jean-Luc Cerza Lanaux panicked that he had "f--king chlamydia…again." On top of all of this, the charter guests were a demanding group of ladies, who expected nothing less than perfection.
For starters, there was co-primary charter guest Erica , who requested that the interior crew unpack all of the luggage. Oh, and while "seasick" (AKA seemingly intoxicated) she asked Captain Glenn to make the ship stop rocking in a thunderstorm.
Sorry, Erica. The man's a sea captain, not Poseidon.
There was also charter guest Bianca , who upset her peers by wearing a Trump campaign bikini. "I just hate getting political," co-primary charter guest Jess snapped after Bianca's "Titties for Trump" declaration.
Speaking of Jess, later on, first mate Gary King and chief engineer Colin Macrae were ripped into after they were caught gossiping about the guests. In Jess' defense, it was unprofessional. Yet, by causing a scene she was proving their point that this group was bound to be a handful.
This is only a taste of what went down on tonight's episode. We're, of course, talking about the seemingly out of nowhere fight where Bianca accused the other ladies of bullying and slut-shaming her.
We have a feeling this is the "challenging" group that chief stewardess Daisy Kelliher teased to E! News earlier this month. "There's definitely one more group that, you know, for me, really stuck out," she said at the time. "I thought they were all actually fine. I really enjoyed all of them but, there were two that were definitely a bit more difficult and a bit more challenging."
For a closer look at these ladies and more interesting Below Deck charter guests, scroll through the images below.
The Bravo franchise has had plenty of dramatic and crazy moments thanks to some unruly and demanding guests, including Georgia , who was a little too flirty with no-nonsense leader Captain Lee Rosbach .
Sometimes, you just want a foam party—at least, that's what this demanding guest asked for. Was it eyebrow-raising to see him drunkenly partying in what ended up being about four inches of foam? Yes. Was it still epic because of how excited he was? Also yes.
Where do we start with Delores ? The season eight Below Deck charter guest made a splash, literally and figuratively, after she drunkenly jumped into the ocean late at night. To make matters worse, this swimming session was in direct defiance to Captain Lee's order to stay on the boat. In a first for his career, Captain Lee ended Delores' charter early and sent her packing.
However, while being escorted away on the tender, Delores jumped into the ocean. Bold move, lady.
Barrie boarded the Parsifal III with his blended family, including his current fiancé and his ex-husband, in season two of Below Deck Sailing Yacht . With such a large guest list, the crew was certainly put to work, especially chef Natasha . Not only did Barrie have no problem sending his breakfast back, but he also refused to have his family served buffet-style.
The first charter of Below Deck season eight was certainly a memorable one. We're, of course, talking about when the charter guests found themselves bickering over deckhand James Hough . Specifically, charter guest Shay called dibs on the British yachtie. However, her boatmance hopes were derailed when pal Lexi flirtatiously rode a jet ski with James. Thus, a fight broke out over dinner, which shocked the Below Deck crew.
It was ladies night on the high seas in this episode of Below Deck Mediterranean , but as the drinks flowed, some of the women started to get a little handsy with deckhand Jack Stirrup . Thankfully, Captain Sandy swooped in to save the day.
The crew aboard this ship got a show they didn't ask for when two of the guests hooked up in the crow's nest, a part of the ship that everyone could see on camera.
In the same episode that the crew witnessed the on-deck hookup of two of their guests, they also discovered that their passengers also had never heard of cleaning up after themselves when they stumbled upon a used condom on the nightstand.
For the most part, the charter guest is always right. However, in season two of Below Deck Sailing Yacht , charter guest Erica requested that Captain Glenn Shephard do something to make the ship stop rocking. Unfortunately for Erica, they were in the middle of a thunderstorm and Captain Glenn didn't have the power to control the weather.
Other highlights from this charter group include a woman with hours worth of stories, bullying accusations among the ladies and so much more.
While many guests on Below Deck have been demanding, this may be the most ridiculous request because of how random it was. On one of the episodes, guests demanded gumballs, but not just any gumballs. They had to be colored gumballs and they even threatened to require they be delivered by helicopter if there were none on board.
Not every guest has found their trip to be a five-star experience, but usually they stick around to give feedback as to why. On this episode of Below Deck , we learn that a few of the guests straight-up ghosted upon arrival and fled the ship before even saying goodbye to the crew.
Below Deck Sailing Yacht airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.

Erica Rose on Below Deck Sailing Yacht: Who is the returning charter guest?
Erica Rose returns for her second stint as a charter guest on Below Deck Sailing Yacht.
On Season 2 of the sailing show, Erica, her mom Cindy, and a group of friends boarded Parsifal III. They were a very high-maintenance group.
Chief stew Daisy Kelliher and first-officer Gary King had the best reaction to learning Erica was back for Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3. This time around, Erica and Cindy are joined by their husbands and a new crop of friends.
Gary and Daisy clearly haven’t forgotten Erica and her voice, but for those who have, here’s a little refresher on the returning charter guest.
Who is Below Deck Sailing Yacht charter guest Erica Rose?
Erica was no stranger to reality television before she debuted on Below Deck Sailing Yacht. The Bachelor fans will remember her from Season 9 featuring Prince Lorenzo Borghese. She went on to appear on Bachelor Pad Season 2 and 3.
Other reality TV shows Erica appeared on include VH1’s You’re Cut Off! And Bravo’s Married to Medicine Houston. Erica appeared on the latter with her mother, Cindy.
After her stints on reality television, Erica enrolled at the University of Houston Law Center to become a lawyer. Erica obtained her master’s degree in Entertainment Law from Southwestern Law School.
The blonde lawyer currently owns Rose Sanders Law Firm, where she works with her husband, Charles.
View this post on Instagram A post shared by Erica Rose ? Sanders (@ericatherose)
When did Erica and Charles get married?
Before meeting her husband Charles Sanders, Erica was engaged to another lawyer, Galen Gentry. Their whirlwind romance produced their daughter, Holland Rose Madelaine Gentry. Galen and Erica called off their engagement shortly after Holland was born in 2016.
A few months later, Erica reconnected with Charles, whom she had known since high school. The happy couple reconnected via his cousin and Bumble, according to Distractify.
Charles proposed to Erica in the fall of 2017. They were married a couple of months later. Erica and Charles welcomed their daughter, Aspen Rose Sanders, in 2018.
Erica Rose returns to Below Deck Sailing Yacht for Season 3. The blonde beauty has been promoting her stint on the hit Bravo show.
Whether fans like her or hate her, one thing is for sure. There’s never a dull moment when Erica and her friends are around.
Below Deck Sailing Yacht airs Mondays at 8/7c on Bravo.
Money can’t buy class. Her husband eats like a cow and is a complete ass. She isn’t any better.
Hahaha I just watched these two complete embarrassments on that show. Her and her husband are two of the most classless, disgusting pigs I’ve ever seen on there.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht: Season Five Cast and Premiere Date Announced by Bravo
by Regina Avalos, September 18, 2024
(Photo: Bravo Media)
Below Deck Sailing Yacht has its return date set. Season five of the reality series will return next month, and Bravo has announced new crew members who will join Capt. Glenn Shephard, Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher, and First Mate Gary King on board the Parsifal III this season.
Chef Cloyce Martin, Chief Engineer Davide Morosi, stews Diana Cruz and Danni Warren, and deckhands Keith Allen and Emma Crouch will join the cast for season five of the series, and they will bring some drama with them.
Bravo revealed the following about what is to come in season five:
Capt. Glenn and his expert crew set sail on Parsifal III to the luxury party capital of the world, Ibiza. While Ibiza is known for its sunny day parties and crystal-clear coast, it’s stormy waters ahead for the crew as they navigate blossoming boatmances, competitive co-workers and tense personal dynamics, all while trying to raise the bar every charter. After a distracting love triangle last season that took her focus away from work, Daisy is ready to take the reins back in the interior department with a new sense of energy and determination. However, plans for a stress-free charter season are threatened when her stews question her leadership. On deck, Gary attempts to keep his team motivated as one crew member struggles to learn the ropes. In the galley, Chef Cloyce charms the crew and guests but at only 22, he may be too inexperienced to meet the demands of the high-maintenance charter guests.
Below Deck Sailing Yacht returns on October 7th . The trailer for season five is below.

Former ‘Below Deck’ Stars: Where Are They Now?
Below Deck and its spinoff series have never failed to bring the drama to Bravo fans everywhere since the franchise launched.
The original series premiered in 2013, documenting the daily lives of crew members on luxurious yachts during charter season. With each season, the crew members’ personal lives have begun to cross over into their work lives, leading to shocking reality TV romances, breakups, firings and dramatic exits. In February 2020, longtime Below Deck personality Kate Chastain announced that she would finally be heading back to dry land after six seasons on the ocean.
“After many months of reflection and internal discussions, I have chosen to make a transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new land based role. I intend to step back as a senior member of the Below Deck Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support His Majesty Andy Cohen,” she teased via Instagram as she stepped down from her position as part of reality TV royalty.
Chastain later admitted she might not be ready to say goodbye to Bravo forever.

After leaving the Bellow Deck crew behind after season 4 in 2016, Robinson took some time away from the ocean to work on his catering business. He is also a Certified Health Coach and specializes in weight loss, addiction prevention and cancer care. Robinson has brought his charm back to Below Deck Mediterranean , appearing in a handful of episodes since 2016.
He also joined the cast of Galley Talk alongside Chastain. In May 2023, Us broke the news that Robinson was engaged to his girlfriend Kiara Cabral after more than three years of dating. He announced their split in September 2024 before their wedding.

Five years after leaving Below Deck after its first season in 2013, the former chief stew married chiropractor Andrew Danks and later took a job as a yacht chef. In December 2021, Gang revealed she had suffered a pregnancy loss.

After stirring up drama for three seasons on the Below Deck boat, the former deckhand and bosun made a triumphant return in season 8 and 9. Between seasons, he earned his 1600-ton boating license and worked as first mate on a tugboat.

The deckhand had a brush with death during season 6, getting caught in a tow line and dragged into the water before being saved by a cameraman. He later returned as a bosun in season 7. Since rocking the boat on the Bravo series, Pienaar has taken up fitness coaching with his company AP Elite.
In September 2022, the South Africa native announced that he is engaged to girlfriend Sarah McAlpine Cooper .

During her time on Below Deck , Warburton-Adams sparked a short-lived romance with chef Robinson. The pair briefly lived together in Florida before they eventually called it quits. The second stew and Chastain grew close on season 6 of the Bravo series but haven't kept in touch as often since Carter's exit in 2019. The U.K. native was meant to return to the show to replace Elizabeth Frankini during season 8, but the show wrapped early due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In February 2022, Carter announced that he was engaged to his longtime boyfriend Michael Groves .

The Alaskan returned to her home state after wrapping up season 6 on the My Seanna and briefly worked on a dolphin and turtle boat in Hawaii later on. She also appeared on the seventh season of the Bravo show, which aired its finale in February 2020. Since then, she's been traveling through Alaska by van.
Gerber also appeared on season 3 of Winter House .

The former bosun only lasted for one season with the Below Deck crew, stepping off the boat after the season 6 finale. He was arrested for disorderly intoxication and battery in West Palm Beach, Florida, in 2018 and spoke out about the "big misunderstanding" at the season 6 reunion. "It was just me and a couple of mates having a night out. That's pretty much all I can say. I can't really elaborate on it," he said at the time.
In April 2021, Inia announced his engagement to girlfriend Rachel.

During season 7, the second stew brewed a boatmance with deckhand Brian de Saint Pern , but their flame fizzled out at the end of the season. While in quarantine amid the coronavirus pandemic, Skippon spent time at home in Canada and taking a much-needed break from the yachting world.
Since then, she has used her social media accounts to document her travels.

The deckhand stirred up plenty of drama between the women on season 7 of Below Deck — and never returned for another season. After the show, Sterback started dating Trisha Lynn .

Since leaving Below Deck after season 9, O'Dell has become the captain of his own sailboat. The Florida native hired Below Deck Sailing Yacht alum Gabriela Barragan as his first mate and the two quickly sparked a romance in early 2022.
"We’ve been dating for a couple of months," Barragan told the "Gangplank Report" podcast in April 2022, revealing that her love gave her a Caribbean Hook bracelet.
She explained, "It has like a little horseshoe on it — or like a hook. And if it’s facing outward, it means you’re open. And if it’s facing the other way, it means that you’re taken. So when he gave me the bracelet, he put it on me with the horseshoe, meaning closed. And I looked at him like, ‘Oh!’ And he’s like, ‘Yeah.’ I was like, ‘Awww, that's so cute.'”

About below deck sailing yacht.

‘Below Deck Med’s Chef Johnathan Shillingford Thinks Aesha Scott Handled Those Rude Charter Guests “Very Well”
‘below deck’s 8 worst guests of all-time: from jill zarin to delores the midnight swimmer, ‘below deck mediterranean’ exclusive clip: aesha scott stands up for herself against a rude charter guest.
At long last, Below Deck Sailing Yacht returns for its fifth season on October 7. Captain Glenn Shephard , chief stew Daisy Kelliher , and first mate Gary King are leading the Parsifal III into unchartered waters this season: Ibiza. While fans will miss OG cast member Colin MacRae—whose romance with Kelliher ended very, very badly—there is a new crew of yachties to obsess over this season. Chief engineer Davide Morosi, chef Cloyce Martin, deckhands Keith Allen and Emma Crouch, and stews Diana Cruz and Danni Warren will no doubt be stirring up trouble as they work hard during charters and party hard on their nights off.
The trailer begins on a sad note. Now single, Kelliher returns to the Parsifal III. “Going into this season, I got rid of some dead weight,” Kellier says via voiceover as footage of MacRae and Kelliher canoodling flashes on the screen. “The breakup did a number on me last year, but now, I’m coming back more focused, full of energy.” As she sits triumphantly in her confessional seat, Kelliher says firmly to camera: “I’m fucking good at my job, and I’m taking back the reins.” On cue, the very next scene is Kelliher yelling at King while he lies in his bunk. “I’m not fucking carrying this season on my own, you fucking prick!” The more things change, the more they stay the same.
The trailer then continues to show off its new setting: Ibiza. “Ibiza is known as being the party capital of the world,” says Captain Glenn via voiceover. As guests are shown enjoying themselves, the yacht heels, causing random objects to shatter. Later, the crew gathers for their first meeting. “This is the last time we’ll all be friends so enjoy it,” Kelliher tells the team. “We”ll either fuck each other or fight each other.” “Or both,” replies Captain Glenn cheekily.
A montage of chaos ensues as Kelliher spills a drink, guests boink their heads, and Martin sets off a fire alarm while trying to achieve a fancy, flaming presentation. Morosi is even shown fully nude trying drunkenly to climb into the bed above Captain Glenn’s in their shared cabin. “You all right?” asks Captain Glenn warily. “Nearly,” says Morosi shakily.
While several hookups between the crew are shown—including Kelliher and Martin—and people are shown doing their jobs poorly, the most dramatic part of the trailer involves Captain Glenn’s reading the crew the riot act after giving them permission to party with some guests during a charter. “I set some ground rules, two drinks maximum,” says Captain Glenn as he scolds the crew. “You knew the rules, you broke the fucking rules, and now you’re here getting upset.” Stunned, the group can only look on.
As the trailer ends on a dramatic scene when another yacht is about to crash into the Parsifal III. Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans are left to wonder: could this be the most dramatic season yet? Tune in to Bravo on Monday, October 7 at 9/8c to find out!

Below Deck's Kate Chastain Offers A Shocking Response To Chef Ben Robinson's Surprising Relationship Update
Catherine zeta-jones' 10 best movies, ranked, 10 great movies that ended an actor's bad rotten tomatoes streak.
The reality TV franchise Below Deck is set on a luxury yacht, with a crew expected to provide demanding and obscenely wealthy guests with everything they ask for during their short stints at sea. Viewers also watch the crew members cut loose and relax between sailings. The best Below Deck seasons include a balance of smooth sailing and drama. Nowadays, the series has multiple spinoffs, which follow the same theme, with just as many fun (but sometimes troubling) guests.
After dealing with guests, the crew must find time to relax before the next charter. From drunken, boorish behavior to guests who make impossible requests (and some who don’t know how to take no for an answer), the Below Deck franchise shows that working on a luxury yacht is not exactly a dream job . While guests' antics don't come close to the most shocking Below Deck moments , they can definitely cause a stir.
12 Chelsea and Michael Gonella
Below deck (season 9, episode 9).
Chelsea and Michael incurred problems before even boarding the ship. On season 9 of Below Deck , Chelsea was introduced to the crew as a passenger still recovering from oral surgery. Chelsea had recently injured herself from a bicycle accident and arrived with her jaw wired shut. While many fans initially empathized with the woman, her attitude and entitlement put many audience members off .
During her time with the crew, Chelsea insisted that every course would be blended and then strained to her liking. This included seafood. Rather than settling for blended smoothie alternatives, Chelsea opted to have her oysters and lobsters blended for her. Fans crowded to Reddit to share their disgust with the liquidized concoctions and her overall demeanor. Several claim to have undergone the same procedure but stated that they would have never thrown the same tantrum over meals.
Below Deck (Season 8, Episode 11)
In season 8, a guest named Delores had far too much to drink after a day on the water and was very tired when dinner ended. However, instead of calling it a night, Delores kept the party going by attempting a late-night swim. Delores’ friends (and the crew) warned her that she wasn't allowed to swim in the ocean at night, as it was a safety hazard.
Captain Lee Rosbach stepped in and warned her that he'd send her home if she jumped in the water. To spite them all, Delores ignored everyone and dove into the ocean. In the process, Dolores managed to put herself at risk while ruining the experience of everyone around her. The following day, Captain Lee sent Delores packing. However, she proceeded to jump off the mini boat to shore . Dramatic times like this make Below Deck one of the best reality shows .
Below Deck (Season 7, Episode 3)
A season 7 episode nearly ended in disaster after one of the guests had far too much to drink on Below Deck . Charter guest Brandy seemed to have already had a few drinks when she boarded the yacht, and when the group later went ashore for a picnic, the crew became so concerned about her well being that they took her back to the ship for medical treatment . Meanwhile, the group that accompanied Brandi on the trip seemed to be more worried about the inconvenience her drunkenness would cause them.
It was a moment that separated Below Deck from other reality TV shows because of how dangerous the situation could have been. There are plenty of scripted scenes on Below Deck, but this situation was not one of them. Like Delores, Brandy was a demanding charter guest because of her negligence and stress-inducing behavior.
9 Nichelle Gainey And Areca Whatmore
Below deck mediterranean (season 3, episode 2).
Friends Nichelle Gainey and Areca Whatmore made quite an impression on the crew when they boarded the Talisman Maiton on Below Deck Mediterranean. Perhaps the two women were not used to the finer things in life, but their outraged reaction to being served pasta in bowls instead of plates was just the start of their confrontations with the crew. They even escalated their complaints to Captain Sandy, who had more important things to worry about than whether someone’s wine glass was empty or the dish their pasta was served in.
Following the bowl fiasco and several aggressive complaints hurled at the crew members, stewardess Hannah was forced to apologize to the group. After begrudgingly accepting Hannah's apology, the group continued to make the next dinner as unbearable as possible. Captain Sandy sat in on this dinner to ensure their satisfaction. The women were served lobster, and a guest, who expressed dislike for shellfish, complained when she was served duck instead. The captain, who is quick to defend guests, did the unthinkable: she came to the rescue of Hannah, proving that Hannah was not at fault.
8 Steve Bradley
Below deck (season 3, episode 1).
Steve Bradley was one of a handful of guests who made two appearances on Below Deck , first in season 3 when he demanded that the crew throw him and his friends a foam party, and again in season 6 when he continued to make outrageous demands of the team , who found it challenging to deal with his rowdy behavior. While the crew, tending to his every need, may have suffered from his visit, audiences couldn’t help but laugh at his constant state of insobriety and raucous personality.
Steve even insisted, after discovering that Aerosmith was in the area, that the crew track him down. There didn’t seem to be an afterthought after blurting out this request. Unfortunately, he was also one of the series' most flirty guests, which always results in a problematic charter. While he wasn’t the worst Below Deck guest, he was undoubtedly one of the most demanding and unpredictable clients Captain Lee and his team had to deal with.
7 The Florida State Alumni Crew
Below deck (season 7, episode 7).
In season 7, friends who met at Florida State in their younger years hopped on the yacht for pirate-themed nights and to relive their college days. The friends proceeded to make the crew members’ lives as difficult as possible with inappropriate comments and absurd demands. The few members of the group were so obnoxious and rude to the crew that stewardess Kate commented:
"Anybody who is still talking about college peaked in college, and that's embarrassing."
Unfortunately, the charter guest, Michael, was inappropriate from the start. He began flirting with stewardess Simone and continued making advances towards her, regardless of how uncomfortable she was. Kate Chastain eventually stepped in and put Simone below deck to get her out of an unpleasant situation she should have never been in. The guest’s behavior crossed a line, taking a college reunion from a fun trip to a situation bordering on harassment. The uncomfortable dynamics make him one of the worst.
6 Charley Walters
Below deck (season 8, episode 14).
Demanding guest Charley Walters had a penchant for making the male crew members dress up in tiny Speedos while serving dinner and drinks. Charlie even had the chef running around in circles trying to meet all his exacting demands. By his third appearance, Charley had gotten accustomed to the chief stewardess, Kate Chastain, and her ability to bend to his will. Unfortunately for chef Francesca Rubi, this was her first time on the boat and his demands were all too much. The same was true for all other crew members outside Captain Lee and bosun Eddie Lucas.
Tensions rose so high that new chef Rachel was brought to tears by the problematic guest. Walters later claimed on social media that producers told him to be over the top. Many fans have difficulty shifting the blame to the producers. A guest needs to perform outrageous acts for the footage to exist. A fine line exists between entertaining and being so demanding that professionals have difficulty doing their jobs.
5 Simon Tusha
Below deck (season 1, episode 4).
Simon Tusha, the owner of the company that provided the luxury yachts for the Below Deck series, was featured as a guest in season 1, and his behavior went down like a lead balloon with the crew. Unsurprisingly, when he arrived, he maintained an air of superiority over those around him. Taking advantage of his position and monetary success, he crossed boundaries by making inappropriate comments to female crew members and being rude to Kate.
Worst of all, chief stewardess Adrienne Gang refused to support her crew, insisting they had to get used to Simon’s sense of humor. According to The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette , after the episode aired, Tusha was sentenced to 21 months in jail for his part in a bribery case. His entire persona on deck matched what was said about him in court, making him one of the show’s more controversial guests.
4 Charles Yim
Below deck (season 6, episode 5).
According to Cheat Sheet , Below Deck guest Charles Yim claimed the show made his stay on the yacht look worse than it was. Yim and his guests certainly made the most of their time on the My Seanna , and perhaps the most shocking moment was when the crew found a used condom in the living area .
Charles, the inventor of the Breathometer, had an incredibly negative reaction to the episode and claimed that the condom was planted. He believes the show fabricated scenes because he and his group were “ too boring .” He also went out of his way to complain about several crew members including second stew Josiah Carter and chief stew Kate Chastain. Regarding the condom, the entrepreneur heavily implied that the crew member who found it, Caroline, was not invited to return for the next season. The charter was overall an awkward experience for everyone involved.
3 Erica Rose and Charles Sanders
Below deck (season 3, episode 4).
When former Bachelor star Erica Rose first appeared on Below Deck during season 2, she was initially criticized for her unruly and aggressive guests. When returning with her husband Charles Sanders, audiences were shocked by their treatment of staff and their meager tip . Surprisingly, Charles Sanders proved to be the most troublesome guest. Charles proceeded to complain about the food calling it “ gross ” and redirected his hate at a fellow guest Janelle, calling her a “ b**** .”
After causing copious drama and exhausting the crew, Erica Rose left the staff a minuscule tip . Many fans point out that Rose’s tip was the smallest in the show’s history. In an interview with RealityBlurb , Erica was quick to defend her and her husband’s actions. She claimed that while she has been in the public eye, her husband did not know how to ask appropriately. Erica indicated that the show pushed the couple to amp up the drama and that her husband was simply trying to entertain. Many viewers rejected her vague apology with overwhelmingly negative comments.
2 Krystal Murphy
Below deck (season 6, episode 15).
Cyndi Lauper sang, "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun , " but investment banker Krystal Murphy and her friends said girls want copious amounts of alcohol and fistfights with each other. After over-indulging in cocktails and wine, the primary charter guest fell asleep at the dinner table before punching one of her friends in the face . Following an alcohol-induced collapse, Krystal was wrapped in a blanket that chief stewardess Kate Chastain fondly referred to as her “ shame cocoon ” and then awakened by a friend. She proceeded to attack this friend and proceed the next morning as if nothing had happened.
She made outrageous demands throughout the trip, leading one of Below Deck 's best chief stews , Kate, to label her a “ spoiled brat. ” Since the show aired, she has remained private on social media. While public backlash has been heavy, Krystal has yet to make a statement regarding her less-than-favorable portrayal. She will undoubtedly go down in history as one of the most obnoxious Below Deck guests ever.
1 Timothy Sykes
Below deck (season 2, episode 10).
According to Cheat Sheet , when Captain Lee was asked about the worst Below Desk guest, he didn’t hesitate with his answer: Timothy Sykes, the entrepreneur with a much younger girlfriend who spent the whole trip complaining that there was no Wi-Fi and that the kitchen crew was ignoring all their particular food requests.
To make things worse, Timothy handed over a $17,000 tip at the end of the trip but then asked Captain Lee to give him back $5,000 because his girlfriend didn’t like the food. His girlfriend looked visibly embarrassed by this indiscretion. Most fans who have worked in customer service recoiled at the awkwardness of this scene. In the service industry, there's nothing worse than having to give money back to a guest. For this reason, Sykes takes the cake as the worst guest in Below Deck history.
