Landing Craft

Swiftiships spans the world’s newest technology in the construction of Landing Craft Utilities (LCUs). Our LCU platforms are trusted by governments for their efficiency, quality and extended capabilities. Class 1700 LCU features advanced propulsion systems and cargo capacity, lower cost maintenance, less crew required to operate, and smaller but more powerful engines to reduce fuel cost.

Special Operations Riverine

Our Special Operations Riverine Craft can reach top speed of over 50 knots, are extremely maneuverable, and a highly survivable platform. These vessels are capable of operating in tropical regions with assured top performance in air temperatures up to 125° Fahrenheit, ideal both in a riverine environment and for the defense of harbors and offshore installations. With integrated autonomy systems, they can operated as unmanned, minimally manned or remote controlled. 

SUVS - Challenger

In February 2022, Swiftships unveiled its 46 feet Challenger, a surface vessel designed for unmanned missions that combine total situational awareness with functional design and performance using an autonomous systems of clients’ choices. Reaching a top speed of 45+ knots and an endurance of over 40 hours, the Challenger will greatly enhance maritime fleet force protection by identifying and engaging remote targets before they become imminent threats.

The 46.8m/153'7" motor yacht 'Sierra 2' (ex. Cherosa) was built by Swiftships in the United States at their Morgan City shipyard. Her interior is styled by design house Owner and she was delivered to her owner in September 1999. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Tim Borland and she was last refitted in 2014.

Guest Accommodation

Sierra 2 has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising two VIP cabins. The supremely spacious full beam master suite features extensive storage space provided by the dressing room benefits from a his and her bathroom. She is also capable of carrying up to 7 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Range & Performance

Built with a aluminium hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks, she benefits from a semi-displacement hull to provide exceptional seakeeping and impressive speeds. Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C32) 12-cylinder 1,081hp engines running at 2300rpm, she comfortably cruises at 10 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 14 knots with a range of up to 2,400 nautical miles from her 60,560 litre fuel tanks at 10 knots. Her water tanks store around 11,355 Litres of fresh water. She was built to ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) ✠A1, Yachting Service, AMS classification society rules.
