I really enjoyed the Jazz music boat cruise ride on Sunday and so did my family. The food options were good, drinks and the space on the boat. It was plenty of room for eveyone to be comfortable and a fun way to spend our Sunday. Thank you!

Wonderful boat trip ruined by loud '70s/'80s music and a very poor speaker system. Having some relaxing instrumental music (of any era) at a lower volume with a decent speaker would have contributed to a more relaxing experience. Food was not bad.

If you are looking for a relaxing boat ride, this is it. Options on indoor or outdoor seating, full bar and buffet dinner. Easy access with parking. It's great, do it.

The Jazz Me River boat tour was amazing! Me and my Husband went on our honeymoon and it was a perfect experience. The food was wonderful, the boat was clean and beautifully decorated, and the musicians were super cool and talented! I loved the whole thing and can't wait to go again someday. We also want to comment that our other party members couldn't make it and the staff was very flexible by letting us call in some friends to take the original additional guests place. Wouldn't have changed a thing and I'm so thankful for such a magical night!

It's our first time going to the River Boat , the boat is huge, nice decoration, clean and the food is superb ! We will go back for more dinner cruise ! It's nice to celebrate occasion and party with friends.

Stillwater River Boat

River boat cruise is so much fun! Definitely an experience for anyone to enjoy, come as a couple on date night or as a family event. It's very low key, 3 decks for you to find a seat or wander. There are adult beverages not inclusive of the meal. Take your drink and enjoy the view. As for the food, it's definitely Midwest comfort food that consists of bread, fruit, salad, a meat and chicken dish, side of veggies and potato. Food is served maybe 10 minutes after the boat leaves the dock, buffet style and refreshed very regularly. We went on the jazz dinner cruise- the band consists of 3 men who were great. A little disappointed- I had imagined we would hear jazz the whole time but did not, the band wandered from floor to floor. Being on the water and enjoying the views from the Mississippi was worth the drive. Imagine the views in the fall. I'll be back for that.

It was a nice ride on a summer evening. It is not tour guided. Just simple to sit, eat, drink and enjoy the ride. The foods flavor was decent and I was able to go back and get a 2nd plate but they do pick up the buffet and don't leave it out the whole boat ride. I think the drinks should be included especially if it's like soda or lemonade but no... all drinks had to be purchased. There are 3 floors and the top one is outside. Would do it again but I'll probably sneak in my own soda can

Warning Vegetarian! Last night I boarded the boat for a dinner cruise and had ordered a special vegetarian meal. Keep in mind that I paid the same $56 as all of the meat eaters for my meal. Those who ate meat had a buffet that included all you can eat beef, wild rice stuffed chicken, and cod. For my vegetarian meal, I got a paper soup cup with about half a cup of beans and a quarter cup of rice. While I did enjoy the same salad, fruit, and dessert as everyone else, I was very disappointed that my measly little paper cup of rice and beans was the same price as what everybody else was eating. With all the options that are out there today for vegetarians, I think the Stillwater River Boat company needs to do a better job, or at the very least charge less for those who request a vegetarian meal.

Enjoyable experience especially on a nice weather day. This is not a guided tour, simply a nice boat ride with a meal. Our group enjoyed themselves but it would have been nice to have had an announcement of when the food would be ready.

Great value for the money! Food is delicious and the 2-hour boat cruise down the St. Croix river was very enjoyable! We do it every summer!

The 2022 season for Stillwater River Boats opened in May, and it’s by far one of the most popular things to do in Stillwater during the spring and summer months. All cruises include a meal (brunch, lunch, or dinner) in the ticket pricing. Expect traditional breakfast fare or a fully stocked sandwich bar during the daytime cruises and evening options ranging from roast beef, stuffed chicken, sides,  and a beautiful dessert selection. Alcoholic beverages are available as an add-on cost.

The two-hour excursions head up and down the scenic byway with beautiful views of the bridges in the area, rolling forested hills, and historical landmarks. The Saturday evening ride is the most romantic, as you’ll catch the sunset and the golden hour for spectacular photographs. Parking is limited at the lot for Stillwater River Boats, so even more reason to book your stay at Water Street Inn! We have ample guest parking available, and you can quickly head to the boat launch on foot. Be sure to arrive 45 minutes before the sailing to ensure your reservation.

In addition to weddings and receptions, consider the Anastasia for your Grooms dinner, or Bridal shower, anniversary, or Rehearsal dinner.

Welcome aboard! The Jubilee II is a classic riverboat, offering huge windows on the second level with a fun stocked and staffed bar. Entertain guests and dance down the river on the 2nd deck. Top deck is a perfect place to do a champagne toast at twilight!

This romantic double paddlewheel river boat, the Showboat, is the most popular wedding boat of the fleet! The charm of the wood interiors, twinkling sconces and intimate inside/outside levels make the Showboat a memorable choice. The two enclosed decks are climate controlled. Couples have the option for their wedding and reception to be outside on third deck, or inside on 1st deck.

Maximum Guests: 225

Couples have chosen the Empress, an authentic paddlewheel, for their wedding due to the Victorian decor and a horseshoe shaped stained glass bar, and tin ceilings. Couples have the option to have their wedding and reception outside on the 3rd level viewing deck, or on the 1st enclosed level.

Majestic Star

Maximum Guests: 350

What better way to capture the romance of your wedding? Cruise the St. Croix River on the largest yacht in the Midwest, the Majestic Star! Comfortable, with a first level lounge, second level dining deck, third level large bar and dance floor, and a fourth outside deck for viewing the entire St Croix River valley. Ceremonies and receptions can be held while docked or cruising. The enclosed levels are comfortable and climate controlled.

For a large weddings, consider partying the night away on the largest paddlewheel boat in the Midwest, the Avalon! Guests will love both inside and outside decks with seating for up to 500 guests on 3 levels. There are two bars, and two buffet areas for guests to enjoy cocktails and great food by our in-house kitchen, Grand Catering Stillwater. Please note: the Avalon is not available for Saturday evening events.
