Thursday Evening Paddles

We'll meet at 6:30 PM, and launch at 7 PM.  

We'll paddle locally and by 8 PM , we'll be at Banana Beach for sunset, then paddle to the club.  

You're welcome to bring snacks and beverages to enjoy!  

Bring the usual paddle gear, plus some bug spray & a kayak light. 

NOTE :  Watch for mid-day emails on Thursday if this paddle is cancelled due to pending storms or high winds.

Alligator Creek Fest

Explore live demonstrations on composting, sustainable seafood recipes, electric lawn equipment, smart irrigation, and more. Browse local artist tents selling pieces inspired by nature or made from recycled materials. Stick around to win raffle prizes! We can't wait to show you how to connect with our beautiful local waters and what you can do as an Alligator Creek neighbor to protect the creek, the bay, and its wildlife!

Register when you arrive onsite for a free guided kayak tour of Alligator Creek going out at 11 am, 12 pm, and 1 pm -- all gear included (kayak, paddle, life vest). If you prefer to bring your own kayak, please register in advance on Eventbrite for the free paddle cleanup tours at 11:30 and 12:30.

We're working to reduce our festival footprint! Please consider walking or biking, especially since limited street parking is available. Help us get to ZERO landfill waste by bringing your own reusable water bottle and using our fill station. We've also got waste recovery stations with recycling and composting bins so nothing goes to waste.

For as little as $125 per person per year * , you too can enjoy the full benefits offered with membership in the South Venice Yacht Club.

Our Dinner Dances - $35/member, $40/guest of a member.  Most other activities are free!

That's it.  Full Membership, dining, dancing, drinks, social events, canoes, kayaks, outside grilling - well you get the picture.

Come take a look.  Kick the tires and see what you think.  Nothing to lose and everything to gain.

If you would like to store your kayak at SVYC when space becomes available, please complete the Membership Application Section 6. Boat Storage, Launch Facility and Boating Registration and Agreement  

Do not pay for rack storage at this time!   The rack storage donation will be collected when space becomes available for you.
