Whether you are a veteran swimmer or you’re looking to do your first open water swim, we welcome you to help us “Make Waves to Fight Cancer.”
.5-mile/1-mile/3-mile open water swim for teams or individuals. Event is a fundraiser for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Donations encouraged for children’s cancer medical facilities.

Latino Fest Gainesville

Children’s Museum of Atlanta Alma Mexicano performance

 2024 AYC Club Championship September 14-15, 2024 Registration is closed Notice of Race Sailing Instructions Support AYC's top sailing competitors for the 2024 AYC Club Championship on Saturday, September 14 followed by a dinner to close out the summer season! AYC’s top 2024 sailors will compete in Snipes. If you have not already done so, please email your name, sail number and the name of your crew to Mindy Sherry . As a reminder, qualifying teams may not use their own boat, and must arrange to borrow another boat. MEALS: The Mediterranean Dinner on Saturday night is open to club members and their guests for $20. Saturday lunch and Saturday dinner will be complimentary to all competitors and race committee, but you must register on-line for the dinner at the link. Registration for dinner will close at midnight on Wednesday, September 11th . Competitors, Race Committee and Supporters must register through the link. AYC 4th of July Registration Deadline, Wednesday, June 27th: Happy Fourth of July ! Come ring in the 4 th at AYC and bring a friend! We will have a fun filled day for everyone, including the Varsity food truck for lunch! We’ll have live music in the evening. Lunch reservations deadline is Wednesday, June 27th . Tuesday, July 3rd - Fireworks at Allatoona Yacht Club at sundown Wednesday, July 4 th 9:00 - 10:30 am: Mitzi’s Famous Fishing Contest at Motorboat Dock 2. It’s the first fully covered dock you come to when you come down the road to the motorboat docks. Prizes will be awarded for biggest fish, most fish caught, and more. Mitzi always makes it fun! 10:30 am: Come kids of all ages to the clubhouse to decorate your bike/scooter/wagon/etc. for the 4 th of July parade. Bring a pedal or parent powered vehicle of your choice! 11:45 am: 4 th of July parade starts at the clubhouse 12 to 1 pm: The Varsity food truck will be serving one entrée (hamburger, cheeseburger, naked dog, or chili dog) and one side (French fries or onion rings). Drinks and cookies will be included with a lunch ticket. Lunch will be served near the clubhouse so you can sit inside or outside. You must make reservations by Wednesday June 27. $9.00 per person 2 to 4 pm: Beach fun and games and ice cream at the swimming area 6:30 pm bring an appetizer to share and hang out in your Firecracker attire at the clubhouse 7 to 9 pm: Live music with Christopher Glenn playing guitar. The Marshmallow Intergalactic Championship is held each July. For 2023 we are adding a new event in August, a very silly event called Knot the Don Q Rum Championship. See the club calendar for dates and times of these events. Snipe Fleet 330 and the Atlanta Yacht Club host the AYC Open Regatta each April, and the Halloween Regatta each October.

On the 15th of September, twelve sailors, including two visitors, took part in London Corinthian Sailing Club's Laser Open, which is part of the Thames Valley Series.
