The guest cabins comprise a primary suite with a king size bed and en-suite bathroom facilities, a cabin with a queen size bed and en-suite bathroom facilities, 2 cabins with a double bed and en-suite bathroom facilities and 2 cabins with a twin bed and en-suite bathroom facilities.

Your luxury charter on board motor yacht NORTH STAR will be managed by the crew of 16 including the captain.

The crew will ensure you have a relaxed and enjoyable charter experience with all of your needs catered for while on board.

The 16 crew have their own separate crew quarters allowing guests to enjoy increased levels of privacy.

A sister ship to Irimari superyacht , North Star is a high-volume 63 metre superyacht which offers her charter guests the perfect mix of interior luxury and spectacular deck spaces, epitomised by the wonderful indoor-outdoor sundeck which seamlessly combines the two.

In all there are in fact more than 685m2 of exterior deck spaces, an area larger than most 70 metre motor yachts. On the inside of North Star yacht, the bridge deck salon is very large with yet another full bar, two lounging areas and a smaller dining table, ideal for pre-dinner drinks. The bridge deck also has a den forward with a large TV, perfect for playing computer games or watching a movie.

The sundeck on North Star features a 4m long glass-fronted Jacuzzi pool forward with crew members able to be on-hand in the full bar to bring you countless refreshments. It also offers an interior saloon located centrally for a less formal dining option for up to 12 guests, ideal for staying out of the midday sun while still being on the sun deck.

North Star's crew of 16 have been selected for their charter experience, and are led by experienced charter Captain Paul Bell.

Other features include a large swimming platform and beach club, a fully equipped gym as well as a tender and toy garage. She also features two jet skis, two seabobs, a Chris Craft guest tender and all the inflatable and towable toys you would expect on a yacht of this size.

The M/Y SD126’ Sanlorenzo will be built according to the related General Arrangement Plans and according to this Specification. M/Y SD126’ is a semi-displacing vessel with an innovative bulbous-bow design. It will have a GRP Composite Hull with five watertight bulkheads (one between garage and control room, one between control room and engine room, one between engine room and guest cabins, one between guest cabins and crew accommodation and the collision bulkhead), a partial double bottom where fuel oil, fresh water, black and grey water, bilge water, overflow and sludge, structural tanks will be fitted, deck and superstructure in sandwich (with PVC as core).

Propulsion will be from twin high-speed diesel engines directly coupled to fixed pitch propellers.

The yacht will have four decks and a raised inside wheelhouse. The general arrangement is as follows:

-  Lower deck (swimming platform, garage, engine room, control room, guest’s cabins, crew quarters, laundry, chain locker)

-  Main deck (aft cockpit, main saloon and dining room, day toilet, galley, Owner’s suite, fore technical space, fore external area)

The Build & Yacht Design for Luxury Yacht NEW STAR

Moscow Shipyard was the naval architect involved in the formal nautical composition for NEW STAR. Also the company Moscow Shipyard successfully collaborated on this venture. Interior designer Moscow Shipyard was commissioned for the creative interior ambience. Built by Timmerman Yachts the yacht was completed within Russia. She was officially launched in Moscow in 2006 before being transferred to the owner. A reasonable area is achieved with a total beam (width) of 6.74 m or 22.31 feet. With a 1.6m (5.25ft) draught (maximum depth) she is fairly shallow. The material steel was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure over the hull is fashioned with the use of aluminium.

Engineering & Speed For M/Y NEW STAR:

The 3196 engine powering the yacht is made by CATERPILLAR. Her propulsion units are twin screw propellers. The main engine of the ship produces 385 horse power (or 350 kilowatts). She is fitted with 2 engines. The sum power for the yacht is 950 HP or 700 KW.

Trina; This ended up being the “trip of a lifetime”. We were very happy with New Star – the condition of the boat was very good. The entire crew was great – Captain Franck was outstanding. If I bought a yacht, I would want Captain Franck to pilot the ship. My only disappointment was the fact that we couldn’t get a birth in St Tropez. I’m not sure what we could have done to guarantee that opportunity? A quick note on Karl, the cook – he was unbelievable! Hard to imagine that a young man of 22 could present such outstanding meals! The owners need to hang on to him! Thanks for all your help over the last 12 months. The family agreed that next time we would like to do a little longer trip in a little larger yacht!
