Born and raised in South Africa, Chef Jarad McCarroll fell in love with food from a young age, with a culinary journey that’s taken him from Cape Town to Michelin-starred kitchens across the world. Now calling Star Island home, Chef McCarroll brings his soulful cooking to Ocean Club Montauk, through an East End lens that celebrates just-caught seafood and East End character.

The Yacht Club is a charming venue. Nestled at the water’s edge on the north shore of Long Island. Offering an elegant, yet intimate setting for a unique waterfront reception for up to 85 people. We pride ourselves on impeccable service and attention to detail, one event at a time. We offer a wide range of menu options for your special event (brunch, breakfast, buffet, sit down dinner, rehearsal dinner, cocktail Party, wedding, family/office party and other events) with outdoor ceremonies available.
The stony brook yacht club offers the finest in catered affairs from its waterside location on the harbor at stony brook. sit-down dinners, cocktail parties, brunches, or luncheons; we specialize in weddings, rehearshal dinners, showers, and parties for all occasions. enjoy our beautiful view of porpoise channel and the breathtaking sunsets over youngs island while enjoying the finest food prepared by our chef. whether it be for 50 people or up to 85 people, the stony brook yacht club is prepared to make your special event a success. , thank you for your interest in the stony brook yacht club for your catered event. the stony brook yacht club is a full-service catering establishment with all food prepared on premises. we are located at 21 shore road, on the water at stony brook village. catering is not available on monday, tuesday or friday., we have catering available wednesday, thursday, saturday and sunday. we have a 50-person adult minimum for all of our catering events including breakfasts, luncheons or brunch events in the morning or afternoon. children under 10 are ¾ price and children under 5 are free. for all events a 20% deposit is required. our pricing is based on a per person charge for food which must be from one of our many packages suitable for your event. we offer a number of additional party amenities such as arrival by boat for weddings and other parties where the principal wants to make a big splash arrival, on-site ceremonies are available. all events are subject to nys sales tax and 20% service charge., interested in obtaining more information about how the stony brook yacht club can help with your special event you can contact us or fill out our event information form. if you have any questions or would like to tour our facility do not hesitate to contact us at 631-751-9873. .
