2-Room Owner Suite

Each Owner Suite has private, step-out balcony (accessed from either the bedroom or the living room) and 2 TVs. The bathroom (accessed from the bedroom) has bathtub, separate shower and WC, double-sink vanity. The lounge room has 2-seater couch (loveseat). In the foyer is the dressing area with 2 closets and vanity table. The balcony is furnished with 1 low table, 2 deckchairs, 2 padded sunloungers.

2-Room Deluxe Suite

Each Deluxe Suite has private, step-out balcony (accessed from either the bedroom or the living room) and 2 TVs. The bathroom (accessed from the bedroom) has shower and double-sink vanity. The lounge room has 2-seater couch (loveseat). The balcony is furnished with 1 low table, 2 deckchairs, 2 padded sunloungers.

2-Room Superior Suite

Each Superior Suite has private, step-out balcony (accessed from either the bedroom or the living room) and 2 TVs. The bathroom (accessed from the bedroom) has shower and single-sink vanity. The lounge room has 2-seater couch (loveseat) and walk-in closet (with 2 large wardrobes and mirrored dressing table). The balcony is furnished with 1 low table, 2 deckchairs, 2 padded sunloungers.

Veranda Suite

Each Veranda Suite has private, step-out veranda accessed from the sitting area (with 2-seater couch / loveseat). The bathroom has shower and single-sink vanity. The balcony is furnished with 1 low table and 2 deckchairs.

French Balcony Infinity Suite

Each Infinity Suite has French Balcony - floor-ceiling wall with a slide-openning window (upper panel) in the seating area (with 2-seater couch / loveseat). The bathroom has shower and single-sink vanity.

Triple Suite

Triple Suites are located near the ship's lifeboats and offered as family cabins (with triple occupancy). Junior Suites are with either an outdoor veranda or French Balcony (accessed from the bedroom), separate sitting area (with sofabed and additional closet) and bedroom (with walk-in closet and mirrored dressing table). Family cabins are with 2 TVs. The bathroom (accessed from the foyer) has shower and single-sink vanity.

Solo Suite|Porthole Cabin

Since March 2022, the company offers "Solo Cruises" on World Navigator. AOV's "single cruise" deals are available on a regular basis (on each voyage/itinerary) via dedicated "Solo Suites".

The accommodations are sized 185 ft2 (17 m2) and can be booked without paying a single supplement.

Each Solo Suite is fitted with a Queen-size double bed, two bedside cabinets (USB chargers, power outlets, sconces for reading lamps), a 42-inch smart HDTV, recessed ceiling lights, mirrored wooden writing desk with chair, mini-fridge (custom-stocked with beverages), ample storage (two wardrobes, separate shoe closet), marble-walled bathroom (L’OCCITANE products, glass shower with rain-shower and body-jet system).

World Navigator cabins review

The Atlas Ocean Voyages (AOV) cruise ship World Navigator is an all-suite, all-balcony vessel with a total of 98 staterooms for 196 passengers (max capacity 200). Each of the staterooms offers as standard (complimentary / price-inclusive) amenities

• en-suite bathroom (shower, WC, washbasin, hairdryer, plush bathrobes and slippers, premium bath products)
• separate bedroom (Queen-size double bed convertible to 2 twins / single beds, bedside cabinets, bedside USB charging ports, wall-mounted lamps)
• mirrored vanity table / writing desk with armchair, lounge area (2-seater sofabed, coffee table with chairs), Horizon and Veranda cabins additionally have a plush loveseat
• smart HDTV (infotainment system, Internet, on-demand movies, Bluetooth connectivity), large wardrobe, electronic safe box and lifejackets (in the closet), minibar (fully-stocked refrigerator)
• individual air-conditioning, LED lighting, daily turndown service

Still and sparkling bottled water is provided complimentary and replenished twice daily. Towels (excluding those on the rack) and bedsheets are changed every 3rd day (depending on cruise itinerary length). Shipboard laundry and ironing services are available at extra cost. Laundry bags are provided in the cabins and collected each morning.

Each cabin is equipped with orange-coloured lifejackets, which are used in cases of emergencies and during lifeboat drills. The boat's electrical supply is 220 V (50 Hz). The electrical outlets (found in all cabins and throughout the ship) are standard European 2-pin plugs. A total of 5 USB ports (per cabin) are for digital devices (cameras, smartphones, tablets, etc). Each cabin is also fitted with a total of 5 power outlets (110V / 220V).

Most cabins (~90%) are with private step-out balconies, excepting only the aft-located (decks 5-6) "French Balcony" cabins, which are with a sliding window opening to a railing (Juliet balcony). Cabin balconies are furnished with 1 low table and 2 deckchairs. Superior, Deluxe and Owner suites additionally have 2 lounge chairs on their balconies.

MS World Navigator has 7 cabin categories ranging in sizes from 185 ft2 (17 m2, Adventure Stateroom) to 465 ft (43 m2, Owner/Navigator Suite). French Balcony cabins (Infinity/Horizon Stateroom) are sized 270 ft2 (25 m2) and feature a floor-ceiling glass wall with a slide opening window (upper panel). Balcony cabins (Veranda Stateroom) are same-sized (25 m2) but with a step-out balcony.

Each suite has 2 closets and 2 large HDTVs (wall-mounted in the bedroom / living room). Junior Suites are triple-occupancy cabins in 2 different configurations - with either outdoor or French Balcony.

Lincoln Reveals The New 2025 Navigator

The new Lincoln Navigator evolves the American full-size luxury SUV.

In the world of luxury SUVs, two legendary American names have shared a rivalry for over 25 years: the Lincoln Navigator and the Cadillac Escalade. Both are SUVs of unmatched size and footprint, with distinctly American presence and heritage, but they’ve deviated in recent years, with the Cadillac adopting a serious, stately, angular look, while the Lincoln fits in the niche of serene, wafting land-yacht luxury. Cadillac also offers a V8 engine in the Escalade, while the Lincoln has opted for an EcoBoost twin-turbocharged V6.

Now, Lincoln is introducing the latest iteration by revealing the new, redesigned 2025 Lincoln Navigator , showing off its latest, futuristic luxury flagship SUV with updates inside and out. A revised exterior adopts Lincoln’s latest new design language. At the same time, modern luxury is embodied with available 24-inch wheels featured on the Navigator for the first time in the new 2025 model.

However, the interior is where the most meaningful changes have taken place, as is the case with any luxury vehicle. In the new 2025 Lincoln Navigator, a 48-inch panoramic display spans the entire dashboard width, providing state-of-the-art infotainment displays and features. One of the most interesting features in the new Navigator is Lincoln Rejuvenate, a “spa on wheels” that automatically adjusts your seat position with heat and massaging options, climate control, scent options, sound, serene lighting, and visuals, all made for the ultimate relaxation experience when the vehicle is parked.

Google Assistant helps provide voice controls for essential functions so drivers can keep both hands on the wheel, and Pano Mode turns the enormous screen into an entertainment hub when the vehicle is in park. An example of exceptional connectivity is the new Navigator having up to 14 USB ports, with a second-row wireless charging pad available in Black Label models. The new 2025 Lincoln Navigator features a Range Rover-esque split tailgate, which opens automatically with Open on Approach, opening when a key fob or Phone as Key is within a certain area behind the tailgate for four seconds.

A luxurious second row is available with heated, ventilated, and massaging power captain’s chairs in the second row, allowing third-row access with the push of a button. Heated third-row seats are also available. Adding to the luxury experience is an immense 28-speaker Revel Ultima 3D Audio system, and standard are a 24-way power adjustable driver seat and 22-way power-adjustable front passenger seat. Black Label models feature 30-way adjustable seats.

Two new Black Label Themes are introduced with the new 2025 Lincoln Navigator. Alongside Invitation, which combines Black Onyx leather with an Ebony headliner and Khaya wood accents, are Enlighten and Atmospheric. Enlighten, inspired by sunrise, features Warm Horizon leather with gray piping and stitching. Ebony headliner and laser-etched birch wood accents complete the theme. Atmospheric is inspired by the beauty of active skies. As such, it features Salt Crystal Gray leather, with Salt Crystal Gray headliner and accents in Ash Wood and Radiant Copper. The Atmospheric theme also features Radiant Copper accents on the grille and the 24-inch wheels.

Like the previous generation, the new 2025 Lincoln Navigator is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 with 440 horsepower and 510 lb/ft of torque. Standard four-wheel drive and adaptive suspension imbue the new luxury SUV with confidence, safety, and luxurious comfort. As the original full-size American luxury SUV, the new Lincoln Navigator is the futuristic rebirth of an American luxury legend.

2025 Lincoln Navigator packs more tech, luxury, and even hands-free driving

About a month ago, Cadillac pulled the covers off the new Escalade. It’s a heavy update of the current model, looking even bolder than before. But let’s not forget that there’s another full-sized luxury SUV from America that also wants your attention.

The Escalade’s longtime rival is the Lincoln Navigator , and it too is also due for a bit of a revamp this year. The timing is just right too and a perfect response to General Motor’s luxury division.

For the 2025 model year, the Lincoln Navigator gets a refreshed exterior design, an overhauled interior, and a barrage of new tech and luxuries. It also gets a feature that we wish the Toyota Land Cruiser kept in its latest generation.

Before we get to that, what’s been changed on the outside? For starters, the headlights are slimmer with a new LED pattern that runs across the entire front end. The grille is also bigger than before, and all those changes meant a new set of fenders, as well as a reshaped bumper and hood.

Towards the rear, the quarter panel has been changed to accommodate the new full-width tail lights. The bumper has also been given a nip and tuck for a more cohesive look. As for the bit we wish the Land Cruiser had, the new Navigator comes with a split tailgate , just like those LCs from the past. Toyota, please bring back the split tailgate for the facelifted 300 Series.

If you think the exterior redesign is a big change, the interior is a complete overhaul. For starters, there’s now a massive 48-inch panoramic curved screen display . It spans the entire width of the new dashboard, and most of the buttons have been banished in favor of an 11.1-inch touchscreen on the center stack .

Lincoln aims to create an even plusher atmosphere in the new Navigator, and it’s not just through acres of wood and leather in the SUV. It has something called a Rejuvenate mode that activates the seat massagers, ambient lighting, air-conditioning, and even the built-in perfume diffusers all at the same time. Mind you, this can only be used while the vehicle is in park and lasts for 10 minutes.

Another highlight is the 22-way adjustable seats for the front passenger and 24-way for the driver. If that’s not enough, the Black Label variant ups the adjustability for the driver to 30-way. Heated, cooled, and massage seats are available for second-row occupants , and even the third-row can be specified with heated perches.

Black Label models come with captain chairs as standard, along with a 28-speaker Bose audio system . Also, the 14 USB ports in there mean there’s no fighting over charging on road trips.

Standard across the range is BlueCruise . Aside from integrating all the advanced driver assist systems available, it allows this luxury land yacht on wheels to perform hands-free driving on the highway . That said, it should always be supervised and the driver must always be ready to take control if needed.

What isn’t changed is the engine. Under the hood is a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 that makes 440hp and 692Nm of torque . It’ll need all of that as it weighs from 2,670kg to 2,742kg when empty. The transmission is a ten-speed automatic transmission , and four-wheel drive is standard.

Explore Russian Summer Life: Visit Russian Dacha!

People from Northern countries soak up every bit of pleasure out of summertime. Its days are numbered, and we do our best to store up the sunshine for the long, cold months that make up the rest of the year. Russians are among those who take full advantage of the brief, hot weather.

At summer’s peak, many Russians don’t venture far. The reason is dachas , our country houses. August brings the harvest for our small garden plots, but a dacha is much more than just an economic benefit: it embodies a culture dating back to Communist times.

The dachas is a unique phenomenon in the life of anyone who lives in the boundless expanses of the Russian Federation. A small plot – just 0.15 acres – with a few currant bushes, apple trees and a vegetable patch, a little wooden house with no telephone or running water and a discreetly located outhouse. I’d love to how you mine.

How we’ll get there:

I believe that it’ll be fun to experience the Russian suburban train (electrichka), which is very popular in our country. Electrichka is inexpensive and it might even be faster than a car as it doesn’t depend on the traffic. Travelling by commuter train you’ll be able to see ordinary people and possibly talk with them. Sometimes trains offer you such “free entertainment” as listening to numerous vendors and musicians. But local trains might be crowded at certain times of the day so in some cases we’d recommend you to go with us by car.

What we’ll do:

We start the trip with the tour of Dmitrov , an ancient Russian town, founded in 1147 and called Moscow younger brother. It is located 1 hour drive out of Moscow.

Learning how to prepare a Russianlunch:

First you choose the right meat, then the right recipe for the marinade.The fire has to be started and allowed to burn down until it’s almost out, but still smouldering. If you catch it at that moment, then the meat will roast evenly and not burn.

Meanwhile, the fire keeps threatening to go out, compelling family and guests to furiously fan it with pieces of cardboard. We serve sashlik with baked potatoes, pickled vegetables and of course Russian vodka. Lunch is followed by traditional Russian tea drinking .

You’ll be so involved, you won’t even notice when it’s time to go back to the city.

Search resumes for British tech magnate and 5 others after yacht sinks off Sicily

PORTICELLO, Sicily — Rescue teams and divers were returning to the site of a storm-sunken superyacht off Sicily on Tuesday to search for six people, including British tech magnate Mike Lynch, who are believed to be still trapped in the hull, 50 meters (164 feet) underwater.

Divers were loading a rescue dinghy at the port of Porticello, near Palermo, after a first search Monday ended unsuccessfully. Fire rescue crews reported that divers were unable to access the below-deck cabins because they were blocked by debris that had shifted during the violent storm that toppled the luxury sailboat early Monday.

Fifteen people survived, including a mother who reported holding her 1-year-old baby over the waves to save her. One body has been recovered, officials said.

“Access was limited to the bridge, due to the difficulty represented by the presence of furnishings obstructing the divers’ passage,” the fire crews said in a statement.

The search was made particularly difficult because the ship was resting on the seabed at a depth of 50 meters, which limits the amount of time divers can be underwater, said fire rescue spokesperson Luca Cari. As a result, the search is expected to take time, he told The Associated Press early Tuesday.

The 56-meter (184-foot) British-flagged Bayesian luxury yacht had been moored about a half-mile off Ponticello when a storm rolled in around 4 a.m. Monday. Civil protection officials said they believed the ship was struck by a tornado over the water, known as a waterspout, which had passed over the area.

Fifteen of the Bayesian’s 22 passengers and crew managed to escape, first onto a lifeboat and then by a nearby sailboat, the Sir Robert Baden Powell, that had also been moored offshore to ride out the storm, Karsten Borner, the captain of the Baden Powell, told reporters at the scene.

One body, belonging to the Bayesian’s chef, was recovered nearby.

Among those missing was Lynch , who was once hailed as Britain’s king of technology. He was cleared in June of fraud and conspiracy charges in a U.S. federal trial related to Hewlett Packard’s $11 billion takeover of his company, Autonomy Corp. His wife, Angela Bacares, survived.

The vacation appeared to be something of a celebration after Lynch's acquittal, with guests including some of the people who had stood by Lynch throughout the ordeal. Among those unaccounted for, according to the civil protection agency, were one of Lynch’s U.S. lawyers, Christopher Morvillo of Clifford Chance, and Morvillo’s wife. Also among the missing was Jonathan Bloomer, the former head of the Autonomy audit committee who testified at Lynch’s trial, and his wife.

Among the survivors was Charlotte Golunski, who said she momentarily lost hold of her 1-year-old daughter Sofia in the water, but then managed to hold her up over the waves until a lifeboat inflated and they were both pulled to safety, Italian news agency ANSA reported. The father, identified by ANSA as James Emslie, also survived.
