Bei bestem Wetter befinden wir uns auf der Zielgeraden der Praxisausbildung. Die neuen Verdecke haben sich bereits bestens bewährt. 

Wir freuen uns auf die kommende Wassersportsaison

Unsere ausbildungsboote „poseidon 3“ und „poseidon 4“, die beide am fahrstundenstandort rehlingen eingesetzt werden, wurden während der wintermonate von einer segelmacherei mit sitz in den niederlanden mit professionellen verdecken / persenningen ausgestattet., fortan können wir auch bei regnerischem wetter trocken sitzen und eine angenehme fahrstunde gewährleisten. gleiches gilt bei gleißendem sonnenschein, wo wir nur das dach aufgebaut lassen und einen guten sonnenschutz erhalten. die ausbildungszeit kann beginnen.

Unser Frühjahrslehrgang 2024 zum Erwerb der Sportbootführerscheine und der Funkscheine hat bereits begonnen.

Wir bitten alle, die noch als „nachzügler“ in den kurs einsteigen wollen, um kontaktaufnahme (fernmündlich oder per mail). gemeinsam finden wir dann eine individuelle lösung zum einstieg in den laufenden kurs..

Wo braucht man ihn?

Jeder, der verantwortlich ein motorbetriebenes Sportboot auf dem Meer ( =auf  “See“) führen will, braucht den Sportbootführerschein mit dem Geltungsbereich Seeschifffahrtsstraßen.

Wozu berechtigt er?

Er berechtigt zum Führen von motorbetriebenen Sportbooten ab einer Leistung von 11,03 Kw (= 15 PS). Er gilt rein zu Sport- und Erholungszwecken, somit nicht gewerblich. Der Führerschein berechtigt zum Führen von Sportbooten ohne Längenbegrenzung. Der Führerschein gilt weltweit.

Wie lange dauert der Lehrgang?

„Frühjahrs – Lehrgang“ : Anfang Januar bis Ende Mai – “Herbst – Lehrgang“: Anfang September bis Ende Oktober

Wann und wo findet der Unterricht statt?

Der Unterricht findet gemäß individuellem Terminplan, entweder rein in webbasierter Form oder hybrid (teils per Web., teils in Präsenzform) statt. Er teilt sich auf bis zu 13 Theorieabende auf, welche jeweils von 18:30 Uhr bis 21:00 Uhr stattfinden. 

Die Fahrstunden finden nach individueller Vereinbarung in Rehlingen oder Saarbrücken statt.

Wer kann ihn erwerben?

Mindestalter: 16 Jahre (die Prüfung kann 3 Monate vor dem Erreichen des 16. Lebensjahres absolviert werden, wobei der Führerschein erst ab dem Geburtstag ausgehändigt wird). Charakterliche, geistige und körperliche Eignung (nachzuweisen durch Seh- und Hörtest)

Was kostet der Lehrgang und welche Leistungen sind darin enthalten? 

Der Lehrgang kostet 459 € inkl. MwSt und enthält 13 Theorieeinheiten à 2,5 Stunden sowie 4 Fahrstunden à 45 Minuten, zzgl. Prüfungsgebühren sowie Lehr- und Lernmittel (Marinezirkel, Kurs- und Anlegedreieck, Lehrbuch, Fragebögen, Übungsleinen). 

Besondere Hinweise

Der Lehrgang wird im Zusammenhang mit dem Sportbootführerschein mit dem Geltungsbereich Binnenschifffahrtsstraßen als so genannter „Kombinationslehrgang“ angeboten

Zur detaillierten Lehrgangsbeschreibung… 

Jeder, der verantwortlich ein motorbetriebenes Sportboot auf  Binnengewässern führen will, braucht den Sportbootführerschein mit dem Geltungsbereich Binnenschifffahrtsstraßen. (Beispiele: Saar, Mosel, Rhein, Stockweiher, Mittersheimer Weiher, pp.) 

Der Sportbootführerschein Binnen (SBF Binnen) berechtigt zum Führen von motorbetriebenen Sportbooten ab einer Leistung von 11,03 Kw (= 15 PS). Der Führerschein berechtigt zum Führen von Sportbooten bis zu einer Länge von <20 m, jeweils gemessen ohne Ruder und Bugspriet. Seit dem 01.04.2023 gilt diese Regelung auch auf dem Rhein. Der Führerschein gilt weltweit. Er gilt rein zu Sport- und Erholungszwecken, somit nicht gewerblich. 

Der Unterricht findet gemäß individuellem Terminplan rein in webbasierter Form statt. Er umfasst 4 Theorieabende, welche jeweils von 18:30 Uhr bis 21:00 Uhr stattfinden. 

• Gesetzliche Bestimmungen Binnen

Der Lehrgang kostet 349 € inkl. MwSt und enthält 4 Theorieeinheiten à 2,5 Stunden sowie 4 Fahrstunden à 45 Minuten, zzgl. Prüfungsgebühren sowie Lehr- und Lernmittel (Lehrbuch, Fragebögen, Übungsleinen). 

Der Lehrgang wird im Zusammenhang mit dem Sportbootführerschein mit dem Geltungsbereich Seeschifffahrtsstraßen als so genannter „Kombinationslehrgang“ angeboten

Auf Binnenschifffahrtsstraßen benötigt man den Führerschein nur noch auf einigen ausgewiesenen Gewässern rund um Berlin und Brandenburg. Der Führerschein wird aber oft dort verlangt, wo Seen/Gewässer in der Verwaltungshoheit von Landkreisen stehen (z.B. Bostalsee, Losheimer Stausee) bzw. im benachbarten Frankreich liegen (Stockweiher, Lac de Madine usw.).

Wir empfehlen den SBF Binnen, Teil Segeln als Vorbereitungskurs für den SKS-Schein, da hier die Fundamente für das Segeln gelegt werden.

ca. 4 Wochen

Der Theorieunterricht findet gemäß individuellem Terminplan rein in webbasierter Form statt.

Die Praxisausbildung erfolgt in Zusammenarbeit mit einer Segelschule auf der Mosel bei Trier. 

• Segelphysik
• Gewichtsstabilität und Formstabilität
• Segelmanöver (Wende, Halse, Reffen etc.)
• Fahren von Kursen in Bezug zum Wind (= Windkreis)
• Auf- und Abriggen

Mindestalter 14 Jahre am Tag der Prüfung.

Die „Kombination“ ist ein Lehrgang, der aus den Einzelteilen „Sportbootführerschein mit dem Geltungsbereich Seeschifffahrtsstraßen“ und „Sportbootführerschein mit dem Geltungsbereich Binnenschifffahrtsstraßen“ besteht. 

Der Vorteil für Sie liegt darin, dass Führerscheininteressenten, die zuerst den Sportbootsführerschein See in Theorie und Praxis abgelegt und bestanden haben, fortan von der praktischen Prüfung beim Sportbootführerschein Binnen befreit sind.

Im Klartext: Sie brauchen beim Sportbootführerschein Binnen dann nur die Theorieprüfung abzulegen.

Am Beispiel des Frühjahrs- Lehrgangs erklärt:

• Sie beginnen mit dem Sportbootführerschein – See Anfang Januar
• Sie absolvieren Ihre (praktische und theoretische) Prüfung  Ende April
• Sie kommen ab Anfang Mai zu den Theoriestunden für den Sportbootführerschein Binnen
• Sie absolvieren Ende Juni / Anfang Juli Ihre theoretische Prüfung für den Sportbootführerschein Binnen

Ergebnis: Erwerb der Führerscheine in beiden Geltungsbereichen mit wenig Aufwand und finanziellem Vorteil.

Der Lehrgang kostet 699 € inkl. MwSt und enthält 17 Theorieeinheiten à 2,5 Stunden sowie 4 Fahrstunden à 45 Minuten, zzgl. Prüfungsgebühren sowie Lehr- und Lernmittel (Marinezirkel, Kurs- und Anlegedreieck, 2x Lehrbuch, 2x Fragebögen, Übungsleinen). 

Als Schiffsführer oder Mitfahrer auf Binnenschifffahrtsstraßen

Ausübung des Funkverkehres u. Mithören auf nationalen Binnengewässern

Personen über 15 Jahre (Sportbootführerschein ist keine Voraussetzung)

Der Lehrgang kostet 199€ inkl. MwSt, zzgl. Prüfungsgebühren sowie Lehr- und Lernmittel 

Lehrgang auch in Kombination mit SRC möglich – Binnen u. Seefunk

Ausübung des Funkverkehrs u. Mithören auf nationalen u. internationalen Gewässern, außer Binnengewässern, sowie GMDSS ( digitaler Notruf mit GPS Position)

Amtl. Zeugnis für den Seefunkdienst weltweit, UKW-Funk und GMDSS

Theorie u. Praxis – Seefunk sowie gesetzl. Grundlagen

Der Lehrgang kostet 299€ inkl. MwSt, zzgl. Prüfungsgebühren sowie Lehr- und Lernmittel

Lehrgang auch in Kombination mit UBI möglich – Binnen u. Seefunk

weltweit, insbesondere zum Chartern hochwertiger Segel- und Motoryachten

Der SKS-Schein ist ein amtlicher, aber freiwilliger Führerschein. Die meisten Charterfirmen  verlangen ihn bei dem Schiffsführer, häufig mittlerweile auch beim Co-Skipper.

Wie gestaltet sich der Unterricht?

In Präsenzform mit ca. 20 Theorieeinheiten nach individueller Terminplanung. 

• Navigation (Schwerpunkt)
• Gezeitenkunde (Schwerpunkt)

Wer kann ihn erwerben? Voraussetzungen?

Lehrgangsteilnehmer müssen im Besitz des SBF See sein. Am Tag der praktischen Prüfung müssen sie entweder 300 Seemeilen oder eine Woche Aufenthalt an Bord einer einer Yacht auf Seeschifffahrtsstraßen nachweisen.

Der Lehrgang kostet 699€ inkl. MwSt und enthält bis zu 20 Theorieeinheiten à 2,5 Stunden zur Vorbereitung auf die theoretische Prüfung, zzgl. Prüfungsgebühren, Lehr- und Lernmittel. 

Nach Erlangung des Sportbootführerscheins See + Binnen (= Kombination) ist es ratsam, dass potenzielle SKS-Interessenten zunächst den „SBF Binnen, Teil Segeln“ ablegen, da hier die Fundamente für das Segeln gelegt werden.

Danach sollte – neben dem Theorieunterricht – ein sog.  „Meilen- oder Schnuppertörn“  belegt werden, der regelmäßig von uns durchgeführt oder vermittelt wird. Hierbei wird ein Teil der notwendigen Seemeilen absolviert. Dieser Törn findet über uns an verschiedenen Destinationen oder durch unseren Partner onboat.events entweder auf Mallorca (Palma) oder am Ijsselmeer (Lemmer) auf einer von der BG-Verkehr zugelassenen Bavaria-Segelyacht statt.

The island of Seskli is where you have a longer stop of 2 ½ hours and enjoy lunch. Coffee, water and beverages were offered and we enjoyed our BBQ lunch at Seskli island with a variety of side dishes and salads! A must do while in Symi to discover beaches mainly accessible by boat! The best thing you can do on the island! We absolutely loved it! Obviously everything we visited was simply amazing, crystal clear waters and you could jump from the boat into totally emerald blue waters and enjoy swimming away from the crowds. The hospitality was great, the food unexpectedly delicious with loads of options while the price was definitely less than one would imagine. Symi is not the cheapest island but this boat tour was indubitably great value for money! Eleni E

It's not a coincidence that this activity has a five star rating. You get the chance to swim in impressive beaches and sea caves. The crew is lovely and seem to really enjoy what they are doing. The captain himself is a very social and welcoming man. In addition the barbecue at the end of the trip is of high quality. A big variety of salads, very tasty meat and wine. We went on the boat trip for a pre wedding party with our friends and it was awesome. So much fun, great stops for swimming and snorkelling and lunch was incredible. Everyone - and I mean EVERYONE - who has been to Symi recommended this excursion to us and they weren't wrong. We had a seven hour trip, jumping off the boat and swimming in beautfiul clear waters in five different locations and the legendary BBQ lunch during the heat of the day. The crew were jovial and friendly, Captain Yannis is a true gentleman and the free wine, ouzo and coffee flowed all day. Most of the people on our trip had been before,some the previous day. What most people don't see is after the trip is over - the crew swabbed down and washed every surface and handrail on the boat.I'm sure they do it even without C-19 but it was interesting to see their care and attention to detail when everyone had left. Worth every single cent. We can't wait to return to Symi and the Poseidon. Wahaay

Which charter is right for you?

Whether you’re new to the sea, or a seasoned sailor, Poseidon Charters offers yacht charter and sailing tours for everyone. Read our handy guide on the difference of each of the charter types. 

Yacht Charter

For the experienced sailor. A yacht charter or bareboat means you are renting a monuhull or catamaran, without professional crew and sailing it yourself. In most destinations, a sailing certificate is required to skipper a boat on your own itinerary.

Skippered Yacht Charter

For the novice sailor. Charter a yacht with a professional skipper who will sail the yacht and provide local knowledge. Choose a monohull or catamaran yacht then sit back and relax while the skipper provides stress free sailing.

Luxury Yacht Charter

For the discerning sailor or traveller. A private yacht charter of a luxury motor, catamaran or monohull yacht, with the highest standard of service. Depending on the size of yacht, the crew ranges from two to ten crew and includes a chef for a high-end yachting experience.

Cabin Charter

For the adventurous sailor. Cabin charters are sailing tours booked by the cabin on a shared yacht. There are professional crew onboard who are your guides, prepare the inclusive meals and sail the boat. Cabins on sailing tours are available on catamarans or monohull yachts dependent on destination.

The Aegean Adventure

For over 30 years we were lucky enough to be able to sail the wonderful Aegean Sea in Greece on our by the cabin tours around the Greek islands. We sailed with 1000's of guests from all over the world sharing our passion for Greece. Thank you to everyone who sailed with us over the last 30 years you have made Poseidon Charters what it is today. In 2022 we Poseidon Charters decided to stop offering our cabin charter in Greece and now focuses on offering yachts with crew. Greece is still our number one destination of course, so why not take a look at which option is best for your next sailing vacation. 

What's New?

We no longer run our flotilla on a regular basis, but when a group of five friends wanted to sail together they formed their own flotilla and we provided the yachts, captains and hostesses for them. 

Poseidon Charters has just returned from Greece where we attended the Eastern Mediterranean Yacht Show - EMMYS on the island of Poros.
