The 63.8m/209'4" 'Magna Grecia' motor yacht built by the German shipyard Elsflether Werft is available for charter for up to 12 guests in 6 cabins. This yacht features interior styling by English designer Terence Disdale.

Built in 1986, Magna Grecia boasts a multitude of decks ideal for relaxation and entertainment indoors or outdoors, ensuring guests will live la dolce vita on the open waters.

Guest Accommodation

Magna Grecia offers guest accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising a master suite, one VIP cabin, two double cabins and two twin cabins. There are 8 beds in total, including 1 king, 3 queen and 4 singles. She is also capable of carrying up to 15 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

Keeping comfortable and entertained on Magna Grecia is easy thanks to the available amenities such as a gym with all the latest equipment to maintain your fitness routine. Soak up the bubbles in style in the deck jacuzzi.

Magna Grecia benefits from some excellent features to improve your charter such as Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing you to stay connected at all times, should you wish. Guests will experience complete comfort while chartering thanks to air conditioning.

Performance & Range

Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she offers greater on-board space and is more stable when at anchor thanks to her full-displacement hull. Magna Grecia comfortably cruises at 14 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 16 knots with a range of up to 4,300 nautical miles from her 203,000 litre fuel tanks at cruising speed.

Magna Grecia has aboard a plentiful range of water toys and accessories ready to entertain you and your guests whilst on charter. Principle among these is a Flyboard, experience flying in and out of the water with the latest in high adrenaline watersport. Take to the sea on a Jet Ski offering you power and control on the water. Guests can feel the wind in their hair and jump the waves on one of the two WaveRunners. If that isn't enough Magna Grecia also features towable toys, waterskis, a seabob, wakeboards, kayaks and much more. When it comes to Tenders, Magna Grecia has you covered - with three tenders, including a 5.79m/19' Boston Whaler.

Magna Grecia and her crew are available for charter this summer for cruising within the Mediterranean. She is also accepting bookings this winter on request.

A General Description of Motor Yacht MAGNA GRECIA

This motor yacht MAGNA GRECIA is a 59 m 193 (foot) notable steel boat which was constructed at Elsflether Werft & Kg and her design is by Sharp Design and Donald Starkey Designs (Redesign). Sleeping 12 passengers and 14 crew members, motor yacht MAGNA GRECIA was formerly Libertad; Puka Puka; Sakura; October Rose. The balanced boat has been brought about from the naval architecture of Sharp Design and Donald Starkey Designs (Redesign). Terence Disdale Design / Donald Starkey Designs (Redesign) acted on her interior design brief.

Construction & Design with respect to Luxury Yacht MAGNA GRECIA

Sharp Design was the naval architecture company involved in the professional superyacht design work for MAGNA GRECIA. Her interior design was realised by Terence Disdale Design / Donald Starkey Designs (Redesign). Sharp Design and Donald Starkey Designs (Redesign) is also associated with the yacht wider design collaboration for this boat. Germany is the country that Elsflether Werft & Kg completed their new build motor yacht in. After her official launch in 1986 in Elsfleth she was passed over to the proud new owner following final finishing. Her hull was crafted from steel. The motor yacht main superstructure is fabricated for the most part from aluminium. With a width of 8.9 m or 29.2 feet MAGNA GRECIA has spacious internal space. A deep draught of 3.51m (11.5ft) determines the list of certain ports she can visit, depending on their individual depth. She had refit maintenance and modification undertaken by 2006.

M/Y MAGNA GRECIA Main Engines & Propulsion:

Fitted with twin CATERPILLAR diesel engines, MAGNA GRECIA can attain a top speed of 16 knots. Coupled to the MAGNA GRECIA engines are twin screw propellers. She also has an efficient range of 5000 miles whilst underway at her cruise speed of 14 knots. Her total HP is 3100 HP and her total Kilowatts are 2530. As for thrusters she was fitted with Jastram. For stabalisers she uses Naiad.

MAGNA GRECIA Motor yacht for sale

The 63.8m (209.3ft) MAGNA GRECIA has a steel hull and aluminium superstructure built to Bureau Veritas classification and MCA compliance, and delivered in 1986 by the iconic German shipyard Elsflether Werft. Following an award-winning 24-month rebuild and refit that finished in 2019, she is an in-demand, Greek-licensed Burgess charter yacht.

These works included an extension from 58.5m (191.9ft) to her current length to accommodate a new garage area for a large tender and five jetskis. She also received a full repaint, all her machinery was overhauled and she is currently in excellent working condition.

Her sun deck was widened by moving funnels outboard and covered by a new 35sqm (376.7sqft) hardtop. Teak decking was replaced, a Villery & Boch jacuzzi was installed along with a 25sqm (269.1sqft) fully equipped bar. A dayhead with shower was added, jetski deck cranes were removed and nightclub-standard lighting, smoke and sound systems were fitted.

All interiors were fully replaced, new lighting and a Kaleidescape AV system were installed throughout. A large owner’s study was added on the main deck and a folding balcony was built into the owner’s bedroom suite.

The main deck saloon and dining room area also serves as a cinema room for movie nights. On the bridge deck aft a new open-air dining area was created with a table that can be one large table or two smaller tables. The sun lounge aft also suits for casual dining, shaded by all-new awnings.

She welcomes 12 guests in six suites plus an additional luxury pullman berth in the owner’s office. On the main deck the owner’s suite is forward, with his-and-hers en suites and a large walk-in wardrobe, and the VIP suite is aft between the saloon and the owner’s office. The lower deck is home to two convertible suites and two further convertible suites on the bridge deck complete her versatile accommodation. She also sleeps 15 crew to ensure high service levels.

Twin 1,550hp Caterpillar diesel engines give her a top speed of 15 knots, a cruising speed of 14 knots and a range of 6,000nm at her passage speed of 12 knots. As you would expect from a popular charter yacht, she has a wide inventory of tenders and watertoys.

64m Elsflether Werft motor yacht Magna Grecia sold

The 63.8-metre motor yacht Magna Grecia has been sold in an in-house deal with Burgess .

Built by German yard Elsflether Werft to Bureau Veritas classification and MCA compliance, the steel and aluminium vessel was delivered in 1987 and recently underwent an award-winning, 24-month rebuild. Magna Grecia' s exterior was designed by Hans M Huchzermeir and her new interior is by Francesco Paszkowski.

Works carried out included a 5.3-metre stern extension, adding a garage, as well as a machinery overhaul and full repaint. Her sundeck was widened, funnels moved outboard and a new hardtop was added. As well as the teak decking being replaced, a Villeroy & Boch hot tub was installed up on the sundeck, along with a large bar and a day head with shower.

The interior – accommodating 12 guests and a crew of 15 – was completely replaced, with a fold-out balcony added to the owner's main deck cabin and a new office installed off the main saloon. A VIP guest cabin is positioned on the bridge deck while the remaining guest cabins – two double and two twin – are on the lower deck. 

The bridge deck sky lounge converts into a cinema room but can also serve its original purpose as a formal dining area. On the bridge deck aft, a new open-air dining area was created with a table that can be set up either as one large table or two smaller ones. The sun lounge aft is also suitable for casual dining, shaded by new awnings.

Twin 1,550hp Caterpillar diesel engines give the 819GT yacht a top speed of 15 knots, a cruising speed of 14 knots and a range of 6,000 nautical miles at 12 knots.

Magna Grecia has a wide inventory of tenders and water toys and has proved herself popular on the charter market, operating with a Greek license. The broker described her as "heli-capable with a bolt on/off deck that can also carry a 14-metre tender".

Lying in the Eastern Mediterranean, Magna Grecia was asking €15,000,000.
