In San Lucas Island you can visit the ruins of the famous prison that inspired “The Island Of lonely Men”, of the Costa Rican writer José León Sánchez. You can also visit Cocos Island National Park which is considered as one of the most attractive places for diving. This island was dclared as World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1997.
