This relates to the rules and regulations for the safety of passengers and is determined for each yacht in Goa based on the number of berths (individual sleeping places) and safety equipment. The maximum number of guests on board is usually 12, which is dictated by the general rules for commercial vessels, although some larger yacht in Goa can accommodate up to 40 guests.

• In case of delay on return, Charterer has to pay the prorated charter fee applicable.

Smoking is not permitted inside most yachts. However please consult us for verification, as this policy may vary on certain yachts. For safety reasons, smoking in cabins and staterooms is prohibited on all yachts. Some yacht will allow smoking in designated outdoor areas.

Well before you board your yacht, we will ask you to complete a detailed questionnaire describing the preferences and special needs of all the members of your party, such as dietary or medical requirements, details of any allergies, and your sporting or entertainment requests. This will enable us and the crew of your chosen yacht in Goa to ensure that everything possible is done to make your charter a wonderful experience.

A sailboat is a boat that doesn’t run on fuel or motors. Its motion is guided simply by the wind and the sails. Sailboats are further divided into subtypes depending on their size, hull configuration, keel type, purpose, the configuration of masts and sail plan. Cutters, Dinghies, and Catboats are some types of sailboats. To effectively navigate a sailboat, the sailor needs to have extensive knowledge of the boat's parts, their functions and the weather’s effects on sailing.

A Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) is an inflatable watercraft that is generally used to commute between a ship and the shore. These boats are efficient since they are lightweight and are preferred by emergency and law enforcement personnel. A houseboat is designed to provide long-term accommodation on water. A houseboat can vary anywhere between 12 to 24 feet and can have around one to even as many as four rooms along with a porch. A jet ski is a trademark personal watercraft (PWC) owned by Kawasaki. Used as a generic term for all watercraft with a similar configuration to that of a motorcycle, the jet ski is majorly used for recreational purposes. Captain of Sunken Italian Yacht Questioned For 3rd Time as Other Crew Members Are Set to be Investigated: Source (Exclusive)

Authorities in Italy are zeroing in on several individuals as they expand their investigation into the sinking of a yacht off the coast of Sicily on Monday, Aug. 19, that killed seven people.

James Cutfield , 50, the captain of the British-flagged yacht Bayesian , which sank during a storm in the Tyrrhenian Sea near the Sicilian port of Porticello, was interrogated for the third time by prosecutors in the resort town of Zagarella Domina, where survivors of the incident were taken, on Aug. 17, a source close to the criminal investigation confirms to People . Cutfield, a New Zealand native, reportedly exercised his right to remain silent, invoking a principle in Italian law akin the Fifth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. "I can tell you that the captain has exercised his right to remain silent for two reasons: he is understandably very distressed, and the defense attorneys were only appointed yesterday and need to get their heads around data and information which they have not had time to do, and as such have not yet been able to draw up a defense strategy," says the source. On Aug. 24, Ambrogio Cartosio, the Chief Prosecutor of Termini Imerese, announced that authorities were launching manslaughter and negligent shipwreck investigations in connection with the sinking, which 15 others aboard survived , including nine crew members.

Cutfield was last questioned on Sunday, Aug. 25 , the Italian news agency Ansa previously reported. He faced questions about the position of the keel , whether the hatch was open and when an alarm was raised amid the worsening weather conditions, per Ansa.

Several other crew members are also expected to be placed under investigation, Italian news outlets Rai , Adnkronos and Sky Italia reported on Aug. 27. The first mate of the yacht, Tijs Koopman , is likely to be interrogated and authorities have asked him to not leave Palermo so that he can be questioned, per Corriere della Sera and TV channel TG La7.

The victims aboard the luxury yacht Bayesian have been identified by Chief Prosecutor Cartosio as British tech entrepreneur Mike Lynch and his daughter, Hannah Lynch; the yacht's chef Recaldo Thomas; and passengers Christopher Morvillo and his wife, Neda , and Morgan Stanley International chairman Jonathan Bloomer and his wife, Judy .

Passengers aboard were celebrating a recent legal victory in which Lynch, 59, was  acquitted of fraud and conspiracy charges  just two months prior, a source close to the survivors told People .

Three people injured as two boats collide on Pewaukee Lake

Three people were injured after two boats collided on Pewaukee Lake on Saturday morning.

At 10:15 a.m., the Pewaukee Lake Patrol investigated a crash involving two boats near Peterson Drive in the city of Pewaukee on the east side of the lake.

According to a news release from the village of Pewaukee Police Department, the sides of the boats hit each other as they tried to veer away from each other.

A 26-year-old man who was driving one of the boats and was the only person in that boat was treated at the scene, according to police. A 61-year-old man and a 58-year-old woman from the other boat were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

None of them was ejected from their boats, and alcohol is not thought to have been a factor, according to police. No citations have been issued; the incident is under investigation, according to village Police Chief Tim Heier.
